• James (4/5): Run away! - The room did not look anything like the photos on the website. It was very old, flooring was old worn and damaged, tub was worn dirty and old, towels were old and had stains that showed they were very used. The room had 2 towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. AC/Heater was missing it's covering so it had exposed metal, wiring and dust and dirt. Half of the lights in the room were non functional. Furniture was old, damaged and worn. Torn and ratty curtains. Cockroach ran under the toilet when I turned on the bathroom light. Toilet was loose, misaligned and had rusty floor bolts. When you think of old ratty motel, this is the place you think of. The room next to ours had a mattress leaning up against the front window with the curtain pulled back that had a massive dark brown stain approx. 30" x 48". It looked like someone was shot and bled to death on the mattress. Or had some very serious issues with bowl control. Regardless, why would you leave it in the room and prop it against the window so everyone walking by can see it?? I've stayed in some old motels in my time, and even if the place is old you can tell an effort was made to make them as good as they can. This place is a hole, it's one of the worst I've ever stayed in.

• Navigate04390642579 (2/5): Drive on quickly - Absolutely No-Go- Motel. I've never had a worse room in the USA. Mattresses worn out, not cleaned, old rotten furniture, pills on the shelves. The motel is probably also used as a brothel in the evenings. Very shady characters hang around there. The whole motel is shabby and run-down. Not worth a cent.

When I asked them to consider the customer's experience, he told me to go to my room to have breakfast. Really egotistical person with no customer service skills, super rude, even called security. when I commented on his rude behavior.
• Henry (2/5): Paying 3 days for a two-night stay - I booked a two-day stay at Motel 6 via hotels.com. I arrived past midnight, and I was informed that because I arrived late the hotel refunded the second day of the payment to hotels.com thinking that I was not checking in. They asked me to pay for another day since they claimed they refunded the second day payment. When I got my credit card bill, I had a two-day charge from hotels.com and a one-day charge from Motel 6. Therefore, I ended up paying three days for a two-night stay.
• Yuliya (2/5): - The worst motel in my life (and i am old). My car got damaged overnight. Room was stinky. Loitering around the motel was unreal. Disgusting black (used to be white) dirty towels and sheets. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

No Vending machines as Advertised. The Pictures advertised on Expedia didn't look like the actual Hotel rooms at that Property. The Motel had cockroaches, Air conditioner didn't work neither did Refrigerator. The door lock didn't secure properly. ECT. I would like to b reimbursed for the worst Experience I have ever had. Hi did tell front desk staff right away about everything. Asked ng to be moved into a more Suitable room and was denied amongst other things. I will never Book a room threw Expedia if my dispute in charges isn't granted and issue isn't handled immediately and properly with Motel 6 Management immediately. • Daniel J. (8/5): - I'm still satisfied with my stay it is a better motel choice than most motel options. I miss the old motel drive $100.00 a week, even the $210.00 a week were the fairest ones became.

However, be cautious when booking a room because the staff may try to charge you $50 to switch from a disability room to a regular room. I had to argue with them, pointing out that it wasn’t my fault since the option was posted on Expedia.

Well not as good as other motel 6 I had visited but at least the bed quite sleepable. Area at night, doesn’t seem safety, so many homeless around better use car to go places.

I complained to the desk clerk about and I was told that it had been that way for a long time because people were always breaking it. I have stayed at Motel 6 many times over the years and I can't remember ever having a room that was so poorly maintained. The motel is the Motel 6 Fresno CA on Blackstone. The room number is 121.

• 102shelleyu (2/5): Pretty sure you can do better...I hope! - You don't expect much from a Motel 6 generally but this one is way past it's sale date. In need of major refurbishment. Lumpy bed, phone but without any cord to use it, burn stains on furniture, hole in bathroom door someone kicked in, just poor all around. Didn't take a shower because I had the impression doing so would just make me dirtier. Quiet though.
• Michael (2/5): - This property is in one of the sketchiest areas in Fresno. The room was old, run down, and smelled a bit off. All of the controls on the A/C were long since rubbed off and were written back in with magic marker. The room was next to one of the staircases, and other guests were talking loud, making noise, etc. well past 3AM. No microwave, no fridge, no coffee maker, the ice machine was broken, trash all over. I should have eaten what I paid for this place and stayed somewhere else. My advice is to avoid any of the motels on Blackstone Ave., i.e., close to Hwy 41.

• ellenmE9672XB (2/5): The worst! - I have stayed in many Motel 6s in the last two years. This one seemed one of the worst! No ice, no coffee in the morning, bathroom covered in cigarette burns or who knows what. Office locked at all times, no microwave. People smoking outside constantly. Cars playing loud music past midnight. I think if we got a room not facing the parking lot, it would have been quieter. The parking lot has gate entry so I guess at least that makes our cars safer. On a positive note, our non-smoking room did NOT stink of smoke if the door was closed. Our car didn't get broken into, no unwanted interactions, etc. There is another Motel 6 less than a mile away. I think that one would have been nicer, and only few bucks more. There's a Jordan cuisine restaurant and hookah lounge in the same lot. Walmart and Petco around the corner.
• Cristina (2/5): - So I was moved room from room the first room I was in was sticky and stunk the second room I went to was kind of sticky and the air conditioner did not work and the toilet did not work

I arived at 5:30 pm and had to wait for my room to be "cleaned", everyone has there own opinion of clean. Property extremely run down, broken down, one area had a fire that still has not been repaired. NO amenities I mean zero amenities. Sleep in your car, under a bridge, anywhere but this DUMP. STAY AWAY, NO RUN AWAY

• Rob (4/5): - Check in time was 3 p.m. and when I arrived my room was not ready. The guy at the front desk told me it would be 30 minutes and to come back. I went out to my car and waited patiently and returned to the front desk after my 30 minutes was up. Seems my room wasn't ready but he called him house keeper and there was another room ready but the TV did not work. I told him that is fine and that I was short on time. I asked him if it was downstairs and he confirmed that it was. Once I drove through the security gate I noticed it was on the second floor. So I was a bit bummed out but it was not on the first floor as discussed. After getting settled in I was glad to see that the house keeper did a decent job of cleaning. I also noticed immediately that I did not get a non smoking room. Even the disinfectant used to clean the room could not hide the smell of smoke in the room. The ashtray next to the TV pretty much summed it up and confirmed it was a smoking room. I also noticed the cable to the TV was not plugged in. The TV is mounted to the wall and I was not able to connect the cable. The condition of the room was pretty beat up and there will be some maintenance issues to be addressed. The bath tub had what looked like cigarette burn marks on the tub but it I was not sure since there was rust. The floor where the tile and tub meet was really bad and will need to be addressed. ran out of room to type. I know better now, would stay at the Motel 6 one block down next time

• Mary (6/5): Okay stay - Reception was polite but not friendly. Parking is behind a security gate accessed by swiping your room key. I had problems getting my room door to open - green light but not open. Had to slam my shoulder on door to "pop" it open. Didn't want to close when I was inside so door apparently is hanging crooked. Not sure if it bolted but used the top latch and felt safe. Bed was comfortable but made scrunchy noises. Biggest problem was lack of electrical plugs near the bed. Wifi worked fine. Motel was doable but would seek lodging elsewhere if back in Fresno.

• Antonio (2/5): Hell hell hell hell! - Check in process was horrible. The front desk girl was all over phone. She saw a roach walk across the front window and she did nothing but watch it walk across with not a cafe in the world. The hotel room we got was smoking only and we got ask for a nonsmoking room because of my sleep apnea machine. It now smells like smoke when I use it. The door was open. We could see it open from the parking lot. We called the front desk girl about it and she asked if the room was ok and that the door being open was normal and to just use the room. We walked in and the door looked like it was forced opened and the lock wouldn't close. The tv was on and the bed sheets look dirty and used. We called the girl again and all she said was that it was ok and that they had no rooms left, to just lock the door and use the room. I got mad and told her we couldn't sleep here with the room in that condition. She gave us a handicapped room smoking too on the second floor which didn't t make sense. We got the new room and the ceiling looked moldy and about to colapse as you walked in. Worst place I've been and we were on our weekend trip. I would really check this property. Shouldn't be open. The rooms were 240 and 242. She wanted to change me $92 and we paid $73 on the app. This place is not even worth that price. Also there was no shampoo or lotion. Nothing but one soap. I wish I had never stayed here with my partner. It was hell.

• Betty (2/5): - We are astonished that Motel 6 can be associated with this dump of a motel. There were bugs in the room. Burn marks on the ledge from drug use. The rooms were filthy and it’s in a very shady neighborhood with drug dealers and hookers everywhere. If we wouldn’t have paid in advance we wouldn’t have stayed. Slept with one eye open. Just happy we didn’t get shot. My advice to Expedia is to take this dump off your list of motels. DONT STAY HERE!
• JINGJING (2/5): - Sheets is terrible dirty, so I had to take it off. Very strong smoking smell is in “non smoking” rooms.
• Rebecca (2/5): - The young lady at office was nice but didn't really help with these ppl doing as they please I don't think she should confront those men they where very scary I would worry she would be put in a unsafe situation
• Verified traveler (2/5): worth it? - Sounded okay from discription. But really bad. It's Fresno gang and ghetto. And for under a $100, think at least is doable. Looks like it? (Too bad people that are eligible for 0 interest business loans don't put back into place. Usualy take what can). Also, sure I'm paying somehow for all the homies living there; and I mean wow. I actually had to wait 30 xtra minutes to leave whilst waiting out the zipper heads and neck tatted group with the pitbulls to clear out.
• Zeeyan (4/5): - The rooms were dirty, bathrooms terribly small and no amenities in the room. The neighbours were extremely noisy all through the night, and no effort was made to keep the area quiet. For a property that has no smoking, everything smelt like smoke, including all the clothes we brought along. Very disappointing, and will not be returning.

• markmP6925UY (10/5): We enjoyed - Close to everything we needed. Outside was clean and plenty of parking. We will stay here again in two weeks when we return to Fresno. Walmart is next door, and this is helpful with kids. Overall nice stay
• Lisa (2/5): Don’t book a room here - Lots of drugs in the area guys as my wife if she wanted to get high.!and holes going in and out rooms.! Not safe for kids and the pictures look nothing like online.! Place was dirty with roaches no microwave no T.v remote
• Verified traveler (2/5): It’s not worth it! - Trust me, the reviews don’t reflect how bad this place is, the room was crawling with roaches as I entered, the main light didn’t work, only the bathroom one did, dead shells everywhere, mess on the floor, a disgusting glob by the sink, this place isn’t fit for a dog to sleep in. Motel 6 should shut this place down and give it a deep clean and re-train their maids. Also the area is a bit sketchy, but there is parking security, so cleanliness was the problem for me. I am waiting on a refund, and I recommend you spend extra elsewhere for somewhere with basic cleanliness, not this dive, it’s not worth your hassle.
