• David (8/5): Affordable, Quiet place - I liked how close it was to the beach, gift shops and restaurants. The room was nice where it was located. It was a very quiet area at night. Susan was a delight. It was a nice place overall for what we paid. AC was the best I have ever had in a hotel. 66 and you were frozen. It needs a remodel for sure. Beds need replaced. Rooms need an update in general. The Internet would go in and out after about 6pm which was frustrating when trying to send emails and such. I would recommend bringing your own blankets. You have a sheet and I'm not sure what to call it but it's a little thicker but you will freeze with the ac at night.

Roaches in the bathroom, toilet and sink were both broken and rusted, floors felt gross and sticky. Had neighbors stomping and banging from 2 am-3 am.

• Jennifer (6/5): Is you need a place to sleep in a great location, this is your spot. - The location was perfect! The staff were absolutely lovely. There is a lot that needs to be fixed and updated. The beds were clean and the pillows were soft. The old chairs needed to go. They were very stained. We were missing a curtain rod on one side so I had to put a sheet up. The trash can outside of our room was over flowing with trash. There were a few spots around the room that weren’t cleaned. I’m glad I brought Clorox wipes! The pictures on the website do not match the actual rooms.

Mini-split performed per design during the snowy day. Loose outlet at North bed side table, wall void around bath closet electrical. Chemically staggering albino German and cold American expected. From one Maintenance to another, PLEASE let THAT special thing Stay. Most Enjoyable Stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

• Natasha (1/5): Our stay was disappointing due to misleading amenities, poor room conditions, and lack of follow-up - Disappointed by Misleading Advertising and Poor Room Conditions We stayed at this hotel, Atlantis Inn—Tybee Island, on August 30, 2025, in Room 8, booked under Rico Daniel. We chose this property because it was advertised as a romantic suite with a jacuzzi tub, which was completely unusable. The water pressure was so low that after two hours, the tub hadn’t even filled the bottom, making the room's main feature inaccessible. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue: • The balcony light didn’t work. • The ceiling fan made loud, unsettling noises and felt unstable. • The balcony floor felt unsafe, as if it might collapse. • The TV lost connection, and there were no phones in the room to contact the front desk, which is highly unusual for a hotel. We had to use our personal phone to reach someone, and when we finally got a callback, we were told the staff was too busy to answer. We reported the issues in person and were told to speak with the manager, Susie, the next morning. She said she needed to contact the owner, who was out of town, and promised to call us before her shift ended at 1 PM. We never received any follow-up. We’re disappointed that the room did not match the advertised amenities and that our concerns were not addressed during our stay. We hope the hotel takes steps to improve communication, maintenance, and transparency in its advertising. The room was advertised as a romantic suite with a jacuzzi tub, but the tub was unusable due to extremely low water pressure. The balcony light didn’t work, the ceiling fan made loud noises and felt unstable, and the balcony floor seemed unsafe. The TV lost connection, and there were no phones in the room to contact the front desk—we had to use our personal phone. Staff promised a follow-up regarding our concerns but never contacted us.
• Rachel (8/5): Classic old times Inn - Classic old beach Inn, which we love. Window units as air conditioners. One in living room area worked great, bedroom unit didn’t work so well. Parking horrible but owner was great had city parking passes to accommodate for lack of parking at the inn which was very convenient. We parked and walked everywhere we wanted to go all weekend. And close enough walk to the beach that we weren’t dieing of a heat stroke by the time we got there.

The room was dirty, sand and dirt all over the floors to the point we had to wear shoes inside the entire time. The bathroom door was broken at the top and the tub did not drain water. The housekeeper did not come to our room once during our stay. We booked for 3 nights but ended up leaving after 2 nights.

• Julie (7/5): Good - The location is perfect. The staff were friendly. The furniture and blinds were very dusty. The faucet in the bathroom actually moved when turning it on. The door of the room opened outward, and there was no other lock besides the doorknob. I rigged a hanger and chair to secure the door.
