JASMINA (9/5): - Charmant petit hôtel tout en hauteur avec personnel sympa niché dans un environnement calme, très propre, piscine extérieure d'eau thermale à 33-34 degrés et piscine intérieure(non utilisée) ouvertes jusqu'à 20h.Petits-déjeuners très variés sous forme de buffet,repas midi et soir (2 menus au choix ). Clientèle plutôt âgée mais convient aux couples plus jeunes

Lo staff è gentilissimo, una nota di merito a Francesco che ci ha accolto e fornito tutte le informazioni utili e necessarie. La stanza era ampia e pulita. Abbiamo usufruito della zona spa e relax interna, piccola ma accogliente. L'area spa necessiterebbe di qualche lavoretto per renderla ancora più bella.

969leighannf (6/5): Ischia stay - This hotel has pros and cons. Rooms super small. They were not customer first oriented. We asked for ice for our room and were told the ice is only for lounge cocktails. We asked to switch rooms as we had a tiny room and were staying for a week. They said we could switch the next day and then were told the next day we couldn’t. Ivan at the front desk had a definite superiority attitude. He knew we were unhappy but didn’t care. We asked to speak to the manager and he wouldn’t come out of his office. It was laughable. We had to let it go as not to ruin our vacation. The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely but upon closer inspection were not super clean. We went with an air Canada vacations as a package. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the city centre which we enjoyed but may not be for everyone. They have a shuttle schedule available as well. Max in the dining room works very hard. Breakfast was the same everyday. Could have used some variety. Homemade feta was delicious. Rooms and common areas were clean. Not a bad hotel but definitely has room for improvements.

There is a shuttle bus which takes you the town which is beautiful and really quite busy Lots of walks to shops Parks and restaurants etc The pool is small but really nice and warm as it’s a thermal pool There is so Much to see we ran out of time and want to come back The hotel is very clean Food is good as we had half board Waiter max was brilliant and extremely well knowledgeable about the different dishes/ it’s a set menu so you might want to eat out if not your choice The breakfast is good Not a great choice of cooked food Eggs and ham But lovely homemade feel with lovely bread fresh We had a great time at this hotel Staff were friendly and helpful The port of ischia is located right next to it perfect for the boats to Capri and Amalfi x thanks for your kindness x daren and sue x

538sydb (10/5): - More a boutique hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly and guest focused staff Pool area is small and quiet with views of Vesuvius in distance. About 20 mins walk up a hill from main port area but a frequent hotel shuttle and local buses can ferry you around . The food in the evening is excellent. Served between 8-9 and is a choice of normally 3 on each course if which there are normally 4 courses. Staff great in the dining room. Wine alcohol or a la carte extra. Breakfast is continental. Town and Port are great to explore shops and restaurants and a must visit with a guide castle. Easy to get around either by frequent buses or taxi and plenty of excursions as well. Great hotel and people. Full of Italians and discerning Brits. not many young families more adults. Will definitely go back to Ischia and would go back to this hotel as well but for the need to explore and try new things

JenCC1515 (8/5): A solid 3.5 star in Ischia! - A solid 3.5 star hotel in my opinion. The pros: - The Staff! Every single staff member that we interacted with was very professional and kind. 5 stars for the staff - cleanliness: The hotel was honestly quite spotless. All the common areas were very clean, and our room when we arrived, and when we asked for it to be made up, was cleaned very nicely. The cons: - thin walls: we could hear everything in the room next to us. The tv, coughing, talking, and a screaming baby for two nights were all very clearly heard in our room, and we had to put on ambient noise a few nights to try to drown out the noise from the room next door. Our bed must have been right up against the wall where the tv was in the room next to us. We also had loud disco/rave music coming from somewhere (we never did figure out from where) for the first three nights of our stay - the location: just a little too far from Ischia Porto or Ischia Ponte for our liking. It's also up a hill, so if you have mobility issues you might want to book something a little more central. Overall: This hotel was booked on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner) with an Air Canada Vacations package. We were happy with the accommodations and thought the hotel was a good value for money. The breakfast was standard continental, with bread, cheeses, cold meats, yogurt, pastries, plus some scrambled eggs and occasionally sausage and bacon. The dinner was 4 courses, and they did their best to accommodate dietary restrictions. I'm a pescatarian and my partner is lactose free, and the servers were great at providing options we could eat. The dinner was honestly almost too much food. By the time I got to the main course I often couldn't finish it. We were in room 309 which had a double bed and we had a lovely large balcony with a view of the Castle and the sea, a patio set, and two loungers. Our bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom came with soaps, hair/body wash, etc. There was a shower stall, a toilet, a bidet and a sink. It was nice that there were two hooks so that each person could hang their towel. We didn't drink anything out of the mini-bar, there's a little store close to the hotel where you can purchase the items like sodas, water, juice and wine/beer for much cheaper. There's also a grocery store about a 10 minute walk from the hotel towards the main road for snacks, etc. We purchased cocktails and wine by the glass from the bar before dinner on several nights, the prices were pretty much on par with local restaurants. The heated pool is a lovely touch, especially at this time of year when the evenings are cool. The pool closes at 7pm, but it would be nice if it was open much later. I would recommend bringing your own towel, as the towels that are in the room are not to be used by the pool. You can rent a housecoat or towels from the front desk as well. The WIFI is included and it works well. This hotel worked well for this trip. For future trips, we may choose to stay a little closer to Ischia Porto or Ponte, since that is where we spent a lot of our time.

elizabethrA8581ZT (4/5): Disappointing - Hotel was very clean and our bedroom and shower room was fairly spacious and well maintained. We had B& B and the breakfasts were very good. That's all the positive points I can make. Our room was at the back/rear of the hotel on the second floor, the view from our small balcony was of a sheer cliff face on two sides and rooftops looking to the front. The room was directly over the kitchen with the constant smell of cooking. Not always pleasant. Apart from a couple of tables adjacent to the entrance there was nowhere to sit and have a drink outside. There were no drinks available at the pool. That was my biggest disappointment. The pool and terrace were lovely and never busy. On the first day I was very much looking forward to a cooling swim but the water was HOT, not just warm but like a hot bath. All in all not a great experience

Gheorghe (10/5): Due to the hotel conditions, I could mix work with a bit of holiday! - I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much! The hotel is within walking distance (10 minutes) to port number 2. The rooms are nice, clean and the staff was exceptionally good and polite in helping. I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and they were good with different things on the menu each day. There are bus stops a few minutes away from the hotel. I recommend this hotel! Everything was good!

The balcony had an amazing view of the Castelo and the ocean and even though the room was small it had everything we needed to enjoy Ischia thoroughly. The food was fine and there was lots of choice.

My room had the pool on the same floor, not too far to walk into town if reasonably fit but hotel has a shuttle bus if not. Air con could do with modernisation but not a big issue plus tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be good.
BellaKhan123 (8/5): Very charming hotel, really friendly staff - We stayed in this charming hotel for 5 nights on a half board basis (booking agent voyage Privé). The photos on the hotel website don’t do it justice, the hotel is spotlessly clean and has a vintage charm. We had a room on the 4th floor with a lovely view of Ischia and a little garden outside with seating area. It was very comfortable. We thought the food was very good quality for half board. It is a La carte rather than buffet and the service from the waiters was exceptional. The dinner service was very professional and the waiters are so friendly and helpful. We really liked the waiters and the lady at reception. I would book this hotel again. Also of note, there are two thermal pools, one indoor and one outdoor. This would be perfect out of season when the weather is a bit cooler. Just one note of constructive feedback … it would be nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the room and complimentary usage of spa towels rather than renting spa towels. Edward (7/5): Quiet, clean and comfortable but slightly dated and not really suited to a family pool stay - Quiet, very clean with good views and an underused but lovely garden terrace on the top floor. Plenty of available sun loungers and uncrowded accommodation. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Fridge in room and lovely balcony and terraced areas. Nearby supermarket. Hotel was a bit dated and tired. There is a minibus shuttle but only to and from the bottom of the road which means using expensive taxis for other journeys or transfers to/from the port. Description of the pools needs rectifying. The larger pool photo is not this hotel. The pools are actually thermal spas with chemical properties that limit use to 15 minutes in every 45. So not really a family pool. Bar is very limited and no options for pool snacks or drinks.

Marie Ange (8/5): Hôtel agréable - L hôtel dispose d une navette bien pratique J ai eu 1 chambre tout en haut sur une tres belle terrasse malheureusement je suis malvoyante et cela ne m'a pas convenu car les escaliers irréguliers n'étaient pas assez éclairés pour moi j ai pu changer de chambre le lendemain et cela n'a plus été un problème la chambre etait tres bien et donnait sur la piscine Les croissants du petit déjeuner etaient délicieux ainsi que le reste Nous avons très bien mangé le dernier soir au restaurant

Estelle (8/5): Bon séjour - Nous avons apprécié la piscine intérieure et extérieure spa et le petit déjeuner correct. L'hôtel est à 5 minutes à pieds du centre ville et à 10 minutes du port. Par contre, nous concernant la chambre fut un peu trop bruyante le matin (circulation, aboiements, ménage et certains résidents très à l'aise qui parlent fort dans les couloirs ...) : impossible de dormir passé 8h. C'est pour nous le seul point négatif. En fin d'aprèm, le soir et la nuit c'est en revanche très calme. Bon wifi. Le personnel est présent mais très discret.

Peter (10/5): Nice hotel with great views - Stayed in early March, weather perfect 5 days out of 7. Hotel is located on the edge of town got completely lost on arrival asked for directions but got a lift by one of the many friendly locals. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has a swimming pool that can be used all year around. Room numbers on tables was a nice touch rather than the usual fight for a table in 4/5 star hotels. Had a very reasonably priced massage, missed breakfast one day but got room service at no additional cost. Drinks also reasonably priced.

Ty (8/5): R and R on Ischia - The hotel was a good value. You were given breakfast daily which was acceptable. It is at the top of a big hill so to get there with your luggage you need to take a taxi. They have a shuttle that picks up and drops off at the bottom of the hill but sporadically. It would be nice if it could drop you off a little farther at the dock because walking on the cobblestones with luggage is quite difficult. The pool is nice and secluded, however, it would have been nice if it was open later than 7 pm. Most of the employees speak some English. The head waiter was very helpful and had a good command of English being able to give you travel tips. I would recommend this hotel.
