Guest Reviews
- Kazuki (6/5): - Everything is my range of expectations. The balance of price and stay experience must be perfect.
- Temistoles (6/5): Ruim - Não recomendo ,ouvi barulho de ratos no foro
- Enn (6/5): - Budget overnighting.
TV not working.
- Kiumars (2/5): - Full of rats and cockroaches , the whole building is infested ; property is dovided to some sections from A to E or more ; different hotel names but all are in the same shape and dirty and infested.
Full of mold in toielt, bed sheets have stains and rooms are smelly.
The worse experience in my entire business life, over 100s hotels I have booked in my trips, I have never seen any hotel like this even in rural undeveloped counties, I have no idea how Expedia is offering this hotel, there must put a regulation on this industry to stop offering people these kinds of properties, thete are regulations for other e-commerce categories but it seems nothing for this trip/hotel booking industry.
EXPEDIA , Please stop offering these kind of properies.
I HAVE PICTURES TO UPLPOAD TO SHOW HOW TERRIBLE IS THIS PROPERTY.
- jesus (2/5): - Bad things are
Dirty area
Difficult to reach staff to seek help
Last night stay mid night having fire on next building, much bad smell entered.
Only good thing is location.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was nothing in that room that I liked,Wased off my money,I took another hotel and expedia don,t care about this.they tell me u don,t gett ure money back,
- Philip (8/5): No frills stay in Kowloon - Don't expect luxury here. It is a low cost (for HK), no frills, place to stay in the heart of Kowloon. Close to MTR, lots of restaurants, museums and places to see. Rooms are small and basic, very few english channels on cable, but wifi is fast, staff are very helpful and lots of cheap food downstairs if you like indian and filipino food. A place for the adventurous, not the fussy traveller.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- YOUN HWA (8/5):
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Good location but has a long elevator waiting time. Very crowded. Room is far too small to fit a family of 3 although we booked for a family room for 4.
- May (8/5): - Good room , clean, not smell but so small and TV and fan can't use
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Disgusting!!!
- Fausto (2/5): Sewage smell, Lots of Cockroaches, not recommended - Horrible, strong bad smell a sewage.
Room was good presented, but the smell coming from the shower/toilet was totally depressing.
If we close the door from the shower/toilet, smell is the same.
Outside of the bedroom, when we walk outside of the room and steps, was lots and lots of Cockroaches.
The rating is below to 1 star, and worse or similar to a lodging.
We book for 14 Nights.
It was a NIGHTMARE.
Price was $ 1,084.00, a Real RIF OFF.
This hotel could charge no more than $ 250.00 for 2 weeks.
Location was very good.
WiFi was very good.
Bed was okay.
The only issue was the horrible conditions of this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy to find, close to MTR, obliging staff, nice room.
- janice (2/5): BIRD CAGE. NO LEG ROOM IN FRONT OF TOILET BOWL. - We arrived at the guest house at 3PM and the room is still wasn't ready. Apparently, the room really assigned to us still had a guest that decided to stay so we got assigned to a different :"DELUXE DOUBLE ROOM--Room 1611". The towels weren't even inside when we got to the room and I had to ask twice before they gave us towels.
Unfortunately, the room we got had no leg room in front of the toilet bowl and the wall, so I (as a female) had to pee sideways and the two of us *my husband and I when we have to go #2) need to either spread our legs wide on the sides or do it sideways!
The comforter provided to us smelled OLD and RUSTY, we didn't use them and end up using the tiny towels as blankets. The adapter beside the bed didn't work and the people/staff are rude and unaccommodating.
When we open our luggages, we have to do it alternately because there's no space or room for the two of us or for us to even open our luggage.
It was like paying and renting a bird cage plus the wait in the elevator takes forever!
I am not gonna rent or recommend this guest house to anybody. Don't waste your hard earned money on this guest house or all the guest houses in Chung King Mansions.
- Dharampal Hanthanamane (2/5): Very congested rooms, and too pricey - Don't go by the pictures in this listing. Actual rooms are way shabbier than the pictures. Also, it seemed like a whole bunch of guest houses - like Australian Guest House, New York Guest House, Tokyo Guest House et. al. were essentially the same property (the reception was common for all these and more similar guest houses)
The building containing this property is pretty shady. The rooms were way too overpriced. And this being Hong Kong, the rooms were extremely congested. Barely enough room for a person to stand beside the tiny bed, and just enough space in the bathroom for a person to stand. Even to open the bathroom door (which opened inwards) and get out it felt like a circus feat.
Overall, avoid the place if you can.
- Kin San (10/5): - Clean and comfortable, no smell, good location, high cp.

- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel - The only problem is the elevator.

- Mark (6/5): The rooms are small but OK. - The room itself is OK, and I guess you get what you pay for. The lift is very slow and overused. The wait to get into the lift to check in was about 25 minutes. When I got to the room I tried to get a lift down but it was constantly full; so I took the stairs.
The stairwell was full of rubbish and there were rats. Not pleasant at all. But at least I got to ground level.
Food variety is mostly Indian food. Tasty and reasonably priced.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Place was shady. Only one lift going to our floor. Room was not that clean.
- fatz (10/5): clean and comfy - The hostel was clean, with white sheets and fresh smelling room. The bathroom was very small but was clean and relatively new.
- traveler (6/5): Nice but a little disappointed - TV and hair blower are not working...there's food left by previous guest at the back of refrigirator...i fell itchy whenever I use my comforter.....good staff and nice location for touring.
- sonia (6/5): Compact clean room - We are happy that the room is clean and the room cleaner is very friendly.
- ko (2/5): - Staff are impolite. The whole area is so dirty. Need to line up in order to use the lift since the lift fits only 5 people. Room is small, I would not recommend this to traveler.
- Mike (4/5): Not recommended for family - The bed and room was clean but the rooms was too small. Bathroom was terrible kept blocking and not enough bath towels. Just felt dirty most times. The cleaners was hard to understand and was very rude to my kids. Only one elevator was working so you have too join the long que to hop onto the elevator after a tiring day. Also you get harassed by dodgey men downstairs selling food or SIM cards. You get this daily. To conclude I would not recommend for a family especially if it's your first stay in HK.
- CBTraveller (8/5): Nice budget hotel, but elevator wait times long. - I enjoyed my time in the hotel. Rooms are small but I think that's standard for Hong Kong budget hotels. The only thing is that there are only two elevators and one of them was out at the time I went. It would sometimes take 45 minutes to get up to my room. And even 30 minutes to get down depending on the time of day. So plan accordingly. If you get past that then it is worth the price. :)
- suphan (2/5): Very bad - Not comfortable everything and I don't to back again .
- Raymond (2/5): Not a Hotel. Not even a Guest Room - This for me was my major disaster in all my years of travel. I got to Chung King Mansions a Market Place. I managed to find a lift to reception on the 16th floor. I was checked in, and guided to a room in the Tokyo House. All the same probably. The room was very small. No desk no chair, no where to put suitcase. Stayed overnight. Next morning in toilet which was also bathroom and shower. No hot water to basin, shower did not work. It was a disaster. I checked out that morning and found other accommodation. This not what was advertised by Hotels.Com and I most certainly would not recommend it to anyone. I believe a refund on the nights I did not stay is deserved.
- Suchart (4/5): The environment below the hotel is very bad. - The over all is clean. The maid use the same towel for the toilet step out. The environment below feels unsafe. No space for mavement in the room.
- dont book it (4/5): Room Too small - Room to small ,
Elevator Taking a long time ,
Very Messy and dirty area downstairs
Not a place for children
Too many people that I did not trust.
Hard to find the hostel because there are so many of them ....I
- Joan (6/5): Clean and good value for money - Good location, everything is accessible
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location. Clean and safe. - We had a fabulous stay. Hong Kong property is expensive therefore rooms are small but amazingly equipped to include airconditioning.
The lift area and the shopping bizar is daunting at first but as a woman on her own I felt safe.
The guesthouse is superbly located. A short walk from the star ferry, harbour, park and millions of shops!
To be on Nathan Road it is surprisingly quiet once in your room.
Metro and bus stops are right outside so very easy to navigate.
Staff are very nice and helpful.
- Anthony Y H (6/5): Convenient tiny room at good location - Tiny room but clean with basic facilities. Great location and good price for short stay. Right at city heart of shopping area and where couple minutes away from Metro station and bus stops.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was nice and friendly to answer questions. The location was good and many good restaurants were around. The bedsheets were too dirty.
- PJ Costa (2/5): An absolute dump - In the dodgiest building of Hong Kong, I struggle to understand how they can call it a mansion as there is nothing luxurious about this place. Every single business in this building seems to be owned or managed by Indians and/or Muslims.
The Deluxe Room states that it is 10 square metres but in reality it is only 3 or 4 square metres. The room is only as wide as the length of the double bed. The manager is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with (no customer service whatsoever) - he couldn't care less about the room not being 10 square metres and, as a a matter of fact, said that the one with that size was already given to someone else. The coffee cups had cigarette burns in the bottom (as per photo) as they were probably used as ashtrays by previous guests. Needless to say that we did not have coffee.
The hot water system did not work.
When we arrived to the place, there was numerous police agents in the hallway, outside reception, for some sort of major incident unknown to us.
Whilst we were still in the room, the housekeeper knocked and tried to enter the room immediately. She wanted the rubbish whilst we were still in the room. This was before check-out time.
- Hans Victor (8/5): Good stay for a solo traveller. - Place is near shopping area..
- Sheilah (4/5): Rooms at the Australian Guest House - We were the only occupants of the guest house. The room was so small, one has to sit in the bed when your companion is getting something from the fridge or changing his clothes. The curtains are also dirty because I began sneezing when I lay down to sleep.
- Peter (6/5): Overnight stay fine - Fine
- Too (6/5): - Door key chain spoilt, not save
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms are tiny but clean and location is great. Ideal for short stay. Staff is also helpful.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Closed to MTR but located in the building which the entrace is not clear and full of indian people.
- Vaidotas (4/5): Only for short stay.. - It is a bit doggy entrance, with too many Indians and Nigerians hanging around. Wifi did not work, there was a single duvet on double bed for two people. Although room and beddings were clean... It's kind of OK if you are only for sleeping because a bathroom in my house is bigger then all that room..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Price - Good Price but too many people standing outside of building doing advertisement. Hard to find the hotel within the building at first, the hotel guest is good, willing to show direction on the map. It is in Tsim Tsa Sui, so is near everything in Kowloon.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Blankets Smell - In summary, No coffee / tea, no face/hand towels, no window, killed a bug.
- Vangie (6/5): - It was fine. would have been better if hotel has more room and has table to eat at least.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent value for price - We chose the room because it had a great price and location, which were the main selling points. It is located in the Chung King Mansion which always had crowds of men outside trying to sell us handbags and watches, which was definitely an annoyance. The room itself was tiny, but clean, and the sheets and towels were changed every day. The toilet was broken when we arrived but was fixed immediately. Washroom was so small we had to sit sideways on the toilet to close the door. Friendly staff let us store our luggage there after we checked out. Would suggest staying there, just be aware that you are getting exactly what you paid for.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Stay with my husband~ The room is too small. No place to open the luggage~the refrigerator will turn off if we didn't put the card~Convenient to go everywhere~ able to exchange money downstairs.Sleep quite well~
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget Hotel with No Frills - If you are going to use hotel only for night stay and shower, then this one is for you.
Pros:
* Cleaned everyday
* Has attached bathroom, mini fridge, dryer, TV, AC etc
* Shared Microwave
Cons:
* Tiny rooms
* Tiny & slow elevators, long queue to get in
* Pestering vendors at ground floor
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good for short stays - Only disappointment is the ground level is very rowdy & lot's of Indian &/orPakistanis people around very messy crowded place but after we find the lobby lift to the Guest House it's okay. Room got everything like a normal hotel, the rm I stayed for a night thought looks neat & tidy but didn't change the bed sheet as got stains & don't look clean at all! :( Well, if only for a night or two & with budget constrain this is worth to stay. :)
- SomeTraveller (2/5): Do Not Stay. - Do not let the names fool you at ChungKing Mansions, there is nothing Australian about the Australian Guest House. They are all dives. The shower head broke, the toilet was haphazard - and could only be used sideways - and the hot water was sporatic. The silicon job was horrific and gave the impression of total lack of care and respect for aesthetics. Worst of all however is the fact that to get to your room you must first weave through a myriad of seedy market stalls infested with hawkers. It would not be unusual for 20 hawkers to approach you on your way to your room, offering you "Hash, Coke, Marijuana" after you knock back their suits and watches. Then there's the elevator. Bring a crossword puzzle to keep yourself occupied while the elevator rattles down at snail's pace...an ordinary experience all round. Seriously, coming from a well-travelled budget traveller, just pay the few bucks extra and stay in the Holiday Inn for instance down the road.
The only redeeming features were the staff - although impossible to identify - are helpful, the rooms were tidy enough, and the position on Nathan Road made it a good place to explore from. Nevertheless, DO NOT STAY.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Just sleep and bath - Free and easy
- Lenny (6/5): comfortable - This is small room, but comfort and we have no problem during our vacation. Clean, easy to get hot water and there is microwave. Even we finally extend two days more n get the best price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): DISGUSTING PLACE!!!! - Oh my gosh do not stay in this place... It is technically a brothel... I wish I did more research before booking it... We felt so cheap staying there and glad we left after the first night... Too dirty and disgusting!!! If u don't care about that stuff then by all means stay here otherwise DO NOT!! I'm still disgusted by this place... It stinks and super small!! I felt so bad for my kids! I wanna cry when I think about it... 100% gross!!! Stay away!!! I'm not joking or exaggerating at all.. Save yourself and book somewhere else...BROTHEL!
- Pinay traveler (8/5): Clean place, nice stay at hotel - We booked for our last 2 days stay in Hong Kong at Australian Guesthouse and the place was clean and complete in amenities and services including a blow dryer, mini ref, money safe, clean cold/hot drinking water, etc.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice rooms but shady location - As the name goes, its just a guest house. A n apartment with many small rooms. I was satisfied with the facilities - free unlimited wifi for any number of devices, decent beds, good ac, overall clean room. But the rooms are very small and claustrophobic and tends to be smelly. There's no laundry or even restaurant service available though u get it downstairs in Chung king mansion separately. Bathrooms are very small. Another problem is that by history and even at my first visit Chung King mansion appeared to be a shady place. The building is noisy and smelly as well.
To sum up hotels in Hong Kong are expensive. U get good facilities at that price point if u compare but i would advise against this place if u come with a family. Good enough for a backpacker.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dangerous hotel, too scary outside the hotel. If girl stay there, need to beware !!! But the room is clean & nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was ok but it doesn't feel safe at the ground floor entrance
- Thon (8/5): Safe, clean, comfortable - Safe, clean, comfortable. Central, handy for MTR and buses.
Only possible downside is navigating the Mos Eisley Cantina scene between the elevator lobby and Nathan Road. Just learn to ignore the importunate South Asian salesmen of watches, shirts, rooms and God knows what else, and you'll be fine.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap, quiet, incredibly small - Cheap, quiet, incredibly small
Cheap, quiet, incredibly small
Cheap, quiet, incredibly small
- Ng (2/5): - Smelly and horrible guest house. Luckily, we were there for a night.
Will not recommend to my friend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Awful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rented a standard room with two beds. Not much of a view at the window, with buildings blocking. Room was clean and alright. Provides hot amd cold water at the corridor. At the time i went neighbours were quiet. If you are not after anything grand, here you can have a good night sleep.
- ivy ku (8/5): It is a clean n gd hotels - Centrally located to kowloon commercial centre. Within an easy reach mrt station. Very good hotels.
- Jason (8/5): Group travel to Hong Kong 3D2N - It was wonderful and very near to the Tsim Sha Tsui station. It is at the centre of Hong Kong. So going to Mongkok or Central is really convenient.
- maria (8/5): Good location - Affordable, walking distance to the avenue of Stars, promenade, museums, symphony of lights, kowloon park and a lot more..nearby MTR as well..the room was cleaned every day.
- Helen (6/5): Compact but worth every penny - I had been in this area before. Chung King Mansion is known for visitors from over the world, but there is hardly any bad place in Hong Kong, so I was not worried. The hotel room is excellent for the price. Clean, toothbrush, towels, air conditioner and TV were all there. What more does one want; after all, I only needed a place to sleep for one night. By the way, staffs are very friendly and helpful.
- bobby (6/5): Good hotel - Does the job.staff nice and friendly. The staff make it a friendly stay
- alessandra (6/5): 1 night in Hong Kong - Hong Kong is really expensive and I travel on low budget. I am a family of 4 and we had 1 night in the city. I booked the hotel when we landed in HKG. The building where all the hostels are, is really awful. But the rooms are clean and we paid 50USD for a family of 4. The location is good. We felt safe, but the stairs and hallways are terrible. But for the price and time.... Perfect. I just couldn't imagine one more night there...... Be open mind!
- Livi (6/5): Pretty much just a good value motel/hostel stay - Overall, I would stay again if I was on a tight budget since the room was adequately cleaned and furnished (had a mini-fridge, clean bathroom, etc). However, the check-in was a pain and the staff were not the most friendly people (I had checked in a day late and they were not listening to me when I was explaining my flight delay situation to them). Also, the room is VERY small, the bed pretty much takes up the whole room and there is just a small bit of walking space before you're out in the hallway. Even the shower is not in its own compartment (there is basically just a showerhead in the bathroom that you use in the same place you'd use the sink) However, a great pro was that I was able to hook up my laptop to their TV which allowed me to watch my own TV on a bigger screen. I would recommend bringing your own small soap since I didn't really trust the soap provided in the bathroom (was not provided individually as in most hotels but was in a pump that was built into the bathroom). Also, this place is in the same building basically run by Indian people so there are some really great Indian restaurants right in the building. As other people noted, taking the lift is quite a pain since they're small and service a very tall building.
- Lyon (8/5): Comfortable stay - If you don't mind the small room, slightly dodgy entrance to the Chungking Mansion, the stay at the Australian Guest House was quite good. You shouldn't compare this with the likes of 5 star hotels. Generally, the rooms and the toilets are clean, looks newly renovated and good. Staff are friendly and helpful if you strike a conversation with them.
- Edgars (10/5): I couldn't expect more - I was staying there for 2 nights. I must say - I couldn't ask more for the price I paid.
Room was very clean, with air-conditioning, WC and shower. Free coffee in the mornings.
Hotel located very central, everything is walking distance. But located in a big building with other hostels. First impression was - where am I but got used to it very quickly.
Room was relatively quiet.
I would return there again if would go for short visit in HK.
Well done guys!
But a bit of smile on your face in reception won't kill anyone.

- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT STAY THERE - WASTE OF MONEY - The building is old and dirty, full of rats and cockroaches and the stairwell is smelly. The entrance of the building is full of people who want to rent you rooms in this and other "guest houses". After passing some Indian inhouse stores selling you cheap food and tools in a dirty environment, you reach 2 slow small elevators serving 16 floors. When you have reached the 16th floor someone of the staff will show you the proper entrance because the sign points you somewhere else. At the reception they do not greet you or anything, just asking you for passports, no other word. Then, another staff member shows you the room, for which you have to travel through the rats and cockroaches stairwell and 4 filthy doors. The room itself is tiny (2mx3m). You have a super single bed + side table + shower toilet combo. Our room was not smelly but I would not be surprised about other rooms having a smell. You could of course hear neighbours, which in our case was a loud conversation from others at 2am. The next day we confronted the front desk and the "hostel" manager with the situation and that the accommodation does not represent the room rate and we would like to shorten our stay from 3 nights to 1 night. Not surprisingly, the manager was just bullying us into staying longer and not refunding anything , which fits a typical ripoff profile. They do not care about reputation. We therefore had to forfeit our money for 2 nights and chose to stay in a proper hotel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Very good location and value for sleeping only - Location is very strategic and MTR station is just in front of the building but you may be uncomfortable with the crowds that comes and goes around the building. Hotel room is very tiny, you have to stay there to really understand how small it is but if you just wants to have a place to sleep at night, it is really okay. I stay at the 16th floor which is the highest floor, my guess is from the 4th floor upwards, the whole building comprised of similar budget hotel offerings. Room is cleaned everyday and have wifi access.
- b.bowker (2/5): cheap accommodation in hk - tv didnt work, building was old and filthy, bad ventilation, but good location and cheap rates
- manuel (2/5): will not use this hotel again - VERY DISAPPOINTED
- Franz (6/5): Well located - The staff was very friendly at my arrival. Everything was in order. Internet connection works fine. You have to consider that the rooms are very small.
- brent (6/5): the place where you need a hard copy reservation - when I arrived at the hostel it was a pain to get the elevator up to the flour ,very slow .when I got to the desk ,he asked me for my reservation .I said my name and he started question me and asking for a hard copy reservation .rude staff small place
- Karen (8/5): Expectation Met - I read a lot about the hostels in Chunking Mansions, to include all of the horror stories such. I must say, it wasn't so bad at all. Just don't expect too much if you are paying for a budget hotel. The rooms are just small, no space for your luggages except under the bed. The shower and toilet are together in a small space, which was not too much a big deal for us because we have been used to it in the Philippines. Aside from the space, everything was nice. The staff was very professional and friendly (most of them are Filipinos). The room, although they are small, was well kept. They do room service everyday, they change our mattress cover, towels, replenishes the supplies (coffee and toiletries) and cleans up everything that's why when we arrive at night after a whole day of sight seeing, the room was spic and span. They also allowed our baggage to be left at the hotel after we checked out so that we can make the most out of our remaining free time before our scheduled flight.
As for the Chungking Mansions in general, the place is very accessible, it is near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station which made it easy for us to commute. There are lots of Indians offering hotels, gadgets and all things they can sell, just politely decline and continue walking and they will not bother you anymore. the elevators however, are very small, like it can only fit 6 persons so be patient with the queue or better yet, just avoid the rush hours.
- nestor (2/5): no good - Stinky..scary location
- yujin (10/5): Lost in Hongkong - Very good experience. Friendly staff ang nice place ang fast service.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap and clean room - The room is cheap and the staff is friendly. The building is near TST mtr. The only issue is the long wait time for the lift.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good location but not worth the price - My room is on the 17th floor of Chongqing Building. There is no elevator on that floor. The room is clean but I have to pass the old stairs. The room is very small and the bed is too tall for my kid. The service is not professional. I was told to change to another guesthouse, belong to the same boss, at the beginning although I have booked and paid for this guesthouse. The room does not worth the price.
- JC (4/5): Cheap and Nasty - This "guesthouse" is located in a building that houses several markets on the bottom floor. There is only one lift to access this guesthouse and the wait for the lift can be anywhere from 10 minutes to over half an hour (this is no exageration). The people in the guesthouse themselves were rude. After asking one person for a late checkout (12pm) and told it would be no problem, when i returned at 11:50am to checkout i was given a lecture and told I will be charged for the extra hour. I was given a room that was right next to (1 metre) from reception and all night the 2 or 3 receptionists were laughing talking and kleaning on my room door so I didn't get a good night sleep. I would not reccommend staying here at all!!
- PATEL (2/5): CLOSE TO MAIN MARKET AREA - ROOMS ARE TOO SMALL, CAN'T EVEN PACK YOUR BAGGAGES PROPERLY, BEDS HAVE BUGS, AFTER 15DAYS STILL SUFFERING FROM BUGS BITS,SPENT SOME MORE MONEY AND STAY IN HOTELS INSTEAD OF GUEST HOUSE....
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel located near MTR station - Overall experience is good. Hotel is very near the bus station going and coming from the Airport. Also near MTR station also near Avenue of Stars. Only concern was the elevator only fits 8 pax and will take a long time to wait. But still a good experience.
- Jonathan (10/5): I like it so I stayed again. - Again I stayed here because I was happy with everything last time. The only bad thing about this hotel is that there is always a big queue to get the elevator but I can live with that because everything else about my experience in this hotel is good.
- Scott (4/5): Budget Hotel - The hotel was located in a large divided building. It was a little scary entering the building. There where a lot of men at the entrance and on the bottom floor of the building trying to have you come to their hotel or trying to sell you something. It took a little while to figure out where the elevator was to get to the Australian Guest house. The room was as advertized, small and cheap.
- Jonathan (10/5): One of Chung Kin Mansions better hotels - I often travel to HK at the weekends for a bit of shopping from Guangzhou so I have stayed at many hostels and hotels. This one to my surprise was one of the good ones, the room was clean, the decor and bedding nice as well as clean. The room has a safe as well as a fridge which I didnt find before in many other hostels. So I was able to get some fresh cooked meats and cheese from marks and spencers which is accorss the road and stick em in the fridge for later in the evening, oh not forgetting a nice bottle of white wine too. Free Wi-Fi too which works well so I could have a great eveing in doing some work on the computer whilst enjoying some nice cool wine and cheese. All in all I would stay again.
