Priscilla (8/5): Prima hotel - Vriendelijk personeel en het ontbijt buffet bood voldoende opties. Comfortable kamer met comfortabele bedden. Het zwembad ligt aan de schaduwkant van het gebouw, waardoor het behoorlijk fris is. De receptie is alleen te bereiken via 2 kleine liften vanuit een kleine hal, zonder trap. Als er een groep is of als er veel mensen tegelijk arriveren of vertrekken, sta je dus een zeer lange tijd te wachten, samen geperst tussen allemaal mensen met bagage.
fun plus (7/5): Reasonable place with good breakfast - Everything was good. The pool area always has a nice breeze and you can watch sunset. Our room had a leak in the bathroom which mad Ed it smell mushy but otherwise it was ok.

Sans lui, je ne m'en serais pas aussi bien sortie compte tenu de mon manque de préparation. Par ailleurs l hôtel est très bien situé dans la ville de Makassar. L attente pour le dîner au restaurant à été si longue que j ai cru qu'ils avaient étés à la ferme chercher le poulet du chiken Burger !

I arrived late at night and was quickly processed through reception. A good range of channels on the tv, adequate wifi, and a very nice bathroom. Food and beverages were not available after 11pm. Hotel grounds are non-existent, this property is just a building. Quite a distance (30mins) from the airport.

We got to the hotel just after 5. They had obviously over booked and when we were finally given keys to the rooms on the 8th floor we went up to find that the rooms hadn’t finished being cleaned and they were smoking rooms. 801 smelt like the smoking lounge at any airport. On going downstairs I was told by the female manager on duty, that non-smoking rooms were subject to availability. Pardon? Talk about a red flag to a bull. I had booked non smoking and as far as I am concerned if you have a separate category for it and I book it, you had better have one. Or in our case, two. Exasperated with the ineffectual registration staff who now hid in the glow of their computer screens and with no non smoking rooms currently available, still wearing clothes we had traveled all day in, we concierged our baggage and headed into the now dark streets to resurrect something of the lost evening. 1.5 hours gone. We were late arriving at the hotel and our rooms should have been ready. We were not able to freshen up. The idea of watching a sunset at the Harbour taken from us. No apologies given. LISUNG (10/5): Good decor, good-sized room, nice staff - I was given a high-floor corner room with huge windows on two sides and view of sunset plus sunrise, the room is decorated in a classy 1990s and early 2000s style which I like very much. Food from room service was good and not expensive. Buffet breakfast quite nice; pool quite small but rather nice too. Their "taxi" (car with driver) service for the airport costs 160,000 which I think is a bit expensive, but considering the convenience, it's acceptable. Would definitely stay again.

The pool is small, & at the time we visited, full of kids, so not a relaxing place. Check the prices of items in the mini bar & hotel bar. These were by far the most expensive we found in Indenesia. Staff very friendly & helpful

Thesis (8/5): Best price for best location - The hotel is relatively has an affordable price with the best location in Makassar. It's just 30 minutes away from the airport and its surrounding have many alternative restaurants to explore and discover.
Steve (8/5): Sorry for the interruption - Clean and convenient hotel while spending a week in Makasaar. Friendly staff always ready to help. My only complaints were the over eagerness of the staff at times. My work had me getting into my room after 22:00 most evenings followed by continued work in my room past midnight. A few mornings when I did not have an early morning meeting I attempts to sleep in. If I did not attend breakfast by 7:45 am the hotel staff would call my room informing of breakfast hours. This happened to me two mornings so I finally disconnected my phone. I also has a knock on my door by hotel staff just after 7:00 am asking if I had any need for laundry services. I had to leave my do not disturb sign on during evenings. Other that that experience I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Carl (6/5): Nothing to ride home about... - The hotel is centrally located and our hosts in Makassar told us that this is a relatively new hotel. The rooms are poorly laid out, the curtains are not made to measure and the finish of the fixtures and fittings are poor. All these made me feel very unsettled and as a result did not get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good and the waiting staff were very courteous and attentive. The staff at the reception were great, but poorly trained. The good aspects were that the beds were comfy and the ipod dock near the bedside. Overall a reasonable hotel experience with nothing that stood out as memorable!
