- Alan (10/5): Outstanding recpetion staff. Fabulous location - We had a brilliant 6 night stay here as an older couple new to Koh Tao. It was convenient to the ferry, rooms with a view of tge beach. Rooms were clean, spacious with fresh towels and water daily and free snacks available on the groubs floor. We had access and used paddle boards and double kayak to go round the bay. The outstanding reception staff made this so special. Nothing was too much trouble. They orovided us with local knowledge on where to snorkel, massages, restaurants and helped find my partners clothes that had blown off the balcony during the night! Highly recommend staying here. It is slightly higher rate than others in the area but it is worth the extra
- simon (10/5): Fantastic! - What a beautiful find. Everything is beautiful. The penthouse did not disappoint. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and the free drinks in the fridge were most welcome. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The area is lively but quiet enough to relax. Lots of good restaurants . The coconut Monkey is great for breakfast, coffee and snacks. Definitely would stay again.

- MuchTravelledBolton (10/5): Modern, stylish and well located hotel - We loved this hotel. It is a simple but very stylish design with the main focus of the rooms being the spectacular views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered informed local advice and were keen that we had the very best experience . The rooms were cleaned daily and there were nice touches like fresh water in the fridge and flasks for taking water off site. Snacks and slush drinks were available throughout the day. The small area of beach has ample patio accommodation for the hotel guests and the view was divine. There are boats coming and going but for us, that added to the atmosphere. They do not serve breakfast but there are plenty of local cafes that do. We loved our time here and would stay again in a heartbeat. Simple and stylish.
- H1887FPjol (10/5): Great customer service - We stayed here on Monday 27th January . We stayed in three different hotels while in Koh Tao. This was by far the most clean most comftable and the lady who was at reception while we were there was the most helpful person I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel is right in the heart of koh tao . But was quiet and gave us a good place to go diving from. The bed was the best I have been in while in Thailand. I wish we could have stayed here another night but it was fully booked. The other hotels we stayed at were the pinnacle and Sensi Paradise Beach in a on the beach bungalow.

- FeR2107 (10/5): Fantastic boutique hotel just a 15m walk from Sairee Beach - What a beautiful boutique hotel in Koh Tao! We stayed at Lucke Boutique Hotel, an adults-only hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. This small, stylish hotel is right on the beach at Mae Haad, with beautiful beachfront rooms that come with a private patio and beach chairs. It’s a peaceful area but with plenty of great spots for food and drinks nearby. And Sairee Beach, which is the liveliest part of Koh Tao, is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Really good if, like us, you’re not planning on hiring a scooter. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, but they provide coffee in the room and have a snack area. The location is perfect if you want a relaxed vibe with the convenience of nearby amenities like street food, 7-Elevens, and massage parlors. Thanks to Ice, our receptionist, for providing recommendations in the area and for her hospitality. Amazing find, super recommend it!
- Dana23100 (10/5): Loved it - Located on the beach, view is amazing, staff were super friendly and helpful. if you want to go to sariee area you’ll have to use a motorbike or a taxi that costs 300THB, but there are restaurants, bars, 7 eleven. and cafes all around so on our 5 day trip we went only two times to sairee area and it was totally enough. The hotel seems new and well designed. I 100% recommend this place. Had a lovely time there, thank you lucke boutique hotel team, love from 🇮🇱
- surennac (10/5): Beautiful hotel and lovely staff - We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed and greeted by 2 really lovely ladies, both speaking excellent English. We stayed on the ground floor beachfront room which was probably the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in! The rest of the hotel was also beautiful and well designed, so spacious and open. They offered free slushes (which were delicious) and snacks like crisps throughout the day aswell as a kayak, paddle board and snorkelling gear which guests could use. We loved the room so much we wanted to extend our stay, however unsurprisingly the room was fully booked. Definitely recommended this hotel, it was luxury and we’ll definitely be returning.
- WillowCottageMull (10/5): Excellent boutique hotel - Excellent boutique hotel. Located very close to the main port ferries arrive & depart from. Even though it is close to the main port, it is still lovely and quiet. Restaurants, cafes and bars close by. We have a ground floor room, that we could walk right out on to the white sandy beach. The room is very spacious. They have a smart TV and you can log into Netflix, etc. There is a fridge. Free snacks in the lobby area. Beach towels for guests. Loungers and beanbag-type cushions available on the beach in front of the hotel, perfect for watching the sunset. Fress use of paddle board. The beach is white beautiful sand. Shallow and calm enough for swimming or snorkeling. At the far end of the beach there are some rocks which attracts fish so a good quiet place to snorkel. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for tours and fab out the way restaurants. Highly recommend.
- Timon (10/5): Excellent stay - This hotel has been the best so far in our four week trip to Thailand. They might not do breakfast at the hotel, but don't let that put you off. The view from the room was amazing. We used the free kayak and SUP's. There were complimentary snacks and drinks. Very helpful staff. Really really good.
- JWils123 (8/5): Nice and convenient - Hotel in a nice location next to the port, easy access after a boat transfer and very convenient if coming from a travel day. Location wise is good it’s in a quiet section of the beach which is good as the rooms are not very private as they are right onto the beach. Walking distance from many restaurant options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Facilities of the hotel are decent, you can rent a kayak or paddle board free (we like that!) and snorkelling equipment. Just a short kayak away is some great little snorkelling spots. Cleanliness of the rooms could do with a little improvement hence not 5 stars but staff were great and friendly. Deffo recommend this place!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Quiet and close to the pier - Nice spot on the water. Large room gives privacy for more than one guest or couple with friends etc. safe didn’t work in this room. Another friend had a safe in different room so used it. WiFi was reliable if you need to work which I did this trip. Been in Thailand a year and mostly in the islands. Price point by comparison is a little high. Especially low season/no pool or added extras. Positives: Very friendly customer service and reliable to answer questions. Unfortunately left something behind in the room and it seems to have gone missing which is frustrating when you know exactly where you left it. A friend of mine who stayed had the same thing happen leaving something behind as well. Hopefully if I swing by they will find it if I point it out unless another guest took it. Overall, nice stay for a short time.

Point très positif pour la douche chaude avec beaucoup de pression. Serviettes de douches fournies, parapluies si besoin, draps de plage ! Très bon rapport qualité prix, personnel sympa et literie au top !

- Kam (10/5): Nice bungalow style rooms right by the beach - Our room was clean, comfortable, and about a 20 second walk to the beach. I have stayed in 3 hotels in the Thai Islands and so far this has been my favorite.
- Michael (10/5): The perfect spot to kick off your shoes and relax - I searched hi and low for a good place on Koh Tao. Mostly, I wanted a spot far enough from the crowds so that I could sleep well, yet close enough to the crowds, so I wouldn't miss out on the action. This place was perfect. It's an easy walk to Sairee Beach. And the front doors open up onto the beach. I left them open most of the time, listening to the sound of the waves lap onto the shore.
- Toby (10/5): Super schöne Unterkunft - Als wir einen medizinische Notfall hatten, hat uns das Personal freundlicherweise sogar zum Arzt mit dem Roller gefahren und unglaublich schnell sehr hilfsbereit gehandelt. das Personal war stets außerordentlich freundlich und bemüht zusätzlichen wünschen nachzukommen. wir würden definitiv wiederkommen. es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in zentraler lage. Sehr empfehlenswert.

- linda (8/5): beach hut - nice bungalow overlooking sea not a bad view if you disregard boat channel so small boats can get in and out on low tides. lots of steps to sea view bungalows, but overall had a good stay restaurant staff could smile a bit, tipped waiting staff 60 baht after first meal, not even a thank you. saying that food was good. cant complain £15 a night with breaky 2 eggs on 2 toast with fruit to start and coffee would stay again. dont hire scooter here walk 5 mins up the road and pay third less. three good pools, deck chair at bottom of bungalow right on edge of beach
- Carl (8/5): Great spot close to all services - Very nice big room and view of the pier and water activity. Close to everything: restaurants, tours, dive companies, etc, only thing it's missing is a place to snorkel. AC was great and after staying in Tanote Bay it was nice to get back to the action.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good option if you want to stay in Mae Haad - The apartment was nice and spacious and the living room could easily sleep another person (a mattress for the single bed can be rented for 500 baht per night). The comfortable bedroom opened up directly onto the beach, and there was no issue with longtail boats waking us up at dawn. There seems to be only one person working at the complex, so this may mean some waiting around. Compared to most of the world, this would be a great place to stay, it's just that compared to some of the paradisical places to stay on Koh Tao, Mae Haad doesn't quite cut it. That said, the nicest spot on this beach is very close by, from where you can snorkel a wreck. Our main reason for staying here was its proximity to the ferry when leaving, which afforded us an extra hour or so in bed! To be honest, my review would probably be better, if I hadn't just come from two of the most outstanding places that I have ever stayed, so bear that in mind.
- SG Photo Mom (2/5): Horrible! Do not stay here. NOT AS ADVERTISED. - First, don't believe all the "wonderful" reviews. If you look, identical reviews can be found on many other travel sites, so these "reviews" are questionable, at best. The living room part of the room is hot, has no air conditioning and is poorly furnished. The extra bed was in the living room, so the person sleeping there would be hot and sweaty. The less than 2 inch pad they provided for the third person's bed was hard and uncomfortable. When we asked for an additional pad to put on top, the clerk checking us in laughed at us and said no. There is not a "kitchenette." A kitchenette implies that you can cook there. There is no cook top, no pots or pans or utensils. There are only a few plates and silverware, & only a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was old, disgusting and moldy. The entire time we were there, we were killing bugs. The "beach" is not swimmable and is dirty and noisy. It is filled with boats and ferries, so swimming there would be impossible. There is a bar next door playing loud music. We literally stayed long enough to find another hotel, and then immediately checked out. Expedia called and arranged for a full refund of all monies paid, even though the room was "non-refundable." This was because it is NOTHING like what is advertised. I do have to say that the manager was very helpful and apologetic, which was much appreciated. For the price, this place is not worth it. We ended up at a gorgeous resort for just a few dollars more.
- Gemma (8/5): Good Stay - Stayed here as first place was awful. We could check in just after 10, which we were grateful for. Nice apartment, but living area gets very hot. Lovely view from balcony. Hardly any outside noise. Would stay again.
- Finn (8/5): Nice appartment with seeview - It is an appartment rather than a hotel. Very nice and spacy appartment (thay style) and excellent view over the see and harbour. Very nice staff.
- John (10/5): Great location for long vacation - The beach is right outside the bed room. Love opening our bed room door in the morning and just look out in to the ocean. Everything in the room seem new. The location is pretty close to koh Tao central. Close by within walking distance, there is a dive school and also many restaurants with fresh sea food. They literally have seafood on ice right out front. We choose the fish and how we want it cook and they prepared it beautifully. The room is very spacious and feel empty at time. Could use more furniture to fill the room. The TV is in the living room, wish it was in the bedroom.
- Jules (10/5): Big space, perfect for family - The beach out front to the left is shallow and sandy. Perfect for my two boys (5 & 7) to play. The property also has a small fence, which I love that give some privacy while sun bathing. Thai massage within walking distance -300B for full body massage :) Kitchenette lack utensils.
