• Nicola (10/5): Couldn't find a single fault - Was greeted by Barbara as soon as we pulled up. Lovely lady showed us around and left us to get comfortable. The room was way above our expectations and was spacious, clean and comfortable, the surrounding farmland is so peaceful. We had a lovely nights stay. In the morning the breakfast came hot, delicious and just as we asked it to be. Bonus too. There is free wifi N/A

Only thing I would suggest is an enclosed dog field - but that’s not a necessity nor does it take anything away from the property at all!!

Rooms are really well stocked with toiletries, fresh milk, orange juice, bread, butter, and plenty of choice of cereals. Breakfast is fantastic with a really good variety to choose from. One of our favourite places to visit. Thank you.
• Joanna (10/5): A wonderful one night stop to break our journey - The breakfast was very good with so many choices, and although the accommodation is just off a busy road, there was no traffic noise to disturb. Also Barbara was really welcoming.

Didn’t like the fact that there was previously used margarine tub left for us to use. Surely smaller individual pots for each guest?

The room was clean and there was a 'conservatory' to sit in and to eat in which was a really lovely bonus. The breakfast was beyond measure, as one texted the owner, and she cooked it fresh and carried it to one's room. All together a beautiful experience. Nothing could have been better. It was delightful.

• Heyes (9/5): A cosy, welcoming stay at The Swallows. Will come back again! - Lots of great choices for breakfast and delivered to our room. Lots of extras in the room (fridge, microwave, toaster) were very welcome. Loved the inclusion of food items in the room/fridge for breakfast. It didn't bother us at all, but I think the fact that the accommodation is on a working farm might put some people off. Definitely a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". We loved it and would come back again.

• Alan (10/5): If you're looking for a rural location close to beaches with perfect hostess this is it! - Every aspect was just about perfect! Very experienced host and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served in the room and was the best! We enjoyed dinner in the room and it was perfect. Everything done to the highest standards, no wonder there is so much repeat business to this lovely smallholding property. I challenge anyone to find fault!

• Pia (8/5): Grosses Zimmer an schöner Lage auf einem Bauernhof. - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist schön, auf einem Bauernhof mit den entsprechenden Vor- und Nachteilen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr gross. Das Frühstück war gut. Für uns war das Bett zu weich.

• Simon (10/5): A very rare find amongst B&Bs - There really is nowhere like the Swallows Guest House. This is one of the finest B&Bs I’ve stayed at. Barbara cooks the most fantastic meals and the rooms are very comfortable. I liked it so much that I used it as a base while walking sections of the coastal path between Aberystwyth and Carmarthen. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Everything was catered for, including fresh coffee, milk , orange juice, jam and bread and the most comfy big bed and fluffy towels. Had an amazingly peaceful sleep and woke up to a huge selection of breakfast of your Choice, cooked fresh and served in your own conservatory. Looking forward forward to staying again 🥰

Lovely comfortable bed and no street lights, so very dark. I slept so well. The breakfast is made to order using local produce, and is delicious. Barbara is a fantastic host, friendly and welcoming. Nothing to say here. I had a fantastic stay.

Our family room with 2 dogs was clean and comfortable with everything thought of, all the little touches, i.e., welcome pack and toiletries. Although it was only an overnight stay, I will definitely be returning like a home away from home and was lovely to see the baby lambs and horses. 5 stars from me thanks Barbara 😊
