• Jolie (1/5): Unpleasantly surprised - The location's proximity to the highway and food. There was soap from a previous guest in the tub. And a cap. The door looked like it had been kicked in, and in the middle of the night it was noisy. We could hear conversations and snoring from another room.No carpeting in the room made it cold and loud.

The chair in the room was filthy. There was something that had been splattered all over the shower wall. The shower was dirty itself. The towel rack had dust and webs. The toilet was dirty. The base boards were filthy. The stand where the the tv is is so neat up on the bottom. The curtains didn't open on one side.

• Eric (2/5): Nasty filthy disgusting... - Nasty, nasty, nasty. About the room: filthy bathtub, torn shower curtain, long dark hair in the bed, makeup on the pillow, remote didn't work... All that might have been ok if it wasn't for some piece of machinery (I think a hot water cycling pump) that didn't kick in every 30 minutes making it sound like an unbalanced washing machine was roaring upstairs... Clearly the owners and managers know all about these issues, as is evidenced by all so many other reviews. The carpets in the common areas should have been shampooed once in the last 20 years, or at least replaced in the last 10 years... But there they are, in all their skanky disgusting filthy glory making you want to walk in the parking lot to clean the nasty mess from the bottom of your shoes. Would have left if it had not been "non-refundable" via Hotels.com.

• Verified traveler (8/5): New TV - They have new TV that were not working with remote, Screensaver would come on after 3 min, everytime its was extremely annoying called for help they did come twice in a timely manner and very kindly. This whole night away was to stay local but still just relax and lose my mind watching TV and i couldn't do that, i don't believe i wanted too much. The place was nice for the price, non smoking room, yet had burn mark on curtain, I informed clerk bc i will not get charged for something i did not do.

America's Best went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was nice, air worked great. It's a truck stop, so the trucks were coming and going, but we got used to it. It has a nice indoor pool, but due to covid, we couldn't use it. That's was a bummer, but not their fault. Denny's right next door. Wendy's, Subway, Taco Bell. Staff was very nice.

For example, if you are going to have a sign at the front door that everyone "including staff" will need to wear a mask then it is expected that everyone wears a mask. Yes, even the staff. I should feel like this is home second home not being harassed. I DO NOT smoke nor does my 14 month. So that mean I will not smoke in the room. I brought my dog during one visit and paid the fee to allow him to stay with me. Then later the day a male employee asked if I paid for the dog. His tone suggested that I was being sneaky and not paying the fee. There’s a few other examples but id rather not continue. How they treat people is borderline discriminatory!
