Shahari (8/5): Basic and clean though a bit noisy. - The room was huge. It faced the street so it was a bit noisy. The AC was also loud so that helped drown the outside sound. The room felt a but basic and tired but clean. The shower water pressure was good. The staff wete really friendly and helpful. There was a cafe in the lobby area but I didn’t try it. You can also hear the other guests at times. You pay more for the location than anything.
Tauseef (10/5): Excellent stay, will stay again. - Location is #1 thing here. This hotel is at walking distance from Bangla street which is one of the main attractions in Phuket. Restaurants, clubs, money exchange, massage parlors all are nearby. There is also Jungceylon shopping mall at walking distance from this hotel. Staff is excellent to deal with. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to Bangla street.

Mostafizur (1/5): Need hotel room improvement with window. - Location very good, Cleaning ok Room was not good. A bad smell was inside the room coming from toilet. I completed but not solved. Bad smell was there . They know but not change room or interested to talk about that problem. No windows to see light from outside. One window was inside but that was not secure to use that was inside the lobby. Totally dark room. My family and myself was upset about that bad smell and without window to see daylight.

Iaroslav (8/5): We liked it. - Good affordable room for a family of 4. The window in the room was facing a quiet side street with no traffic or crowds, very little outside noise during the night. A large fridge and a kettle in the room, very useful for travelers with kids. Right next to Jungceylon Shopping Mall. Very friendly staff. This did not affect us and this is explicitly written in the hotel description, but be aware that there is no lift and the staircase is quite narrow, could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage or a baby stroller. The entrance to the hotel is from a narrow busy street with a lot of cars, bikes and pedestrians intermingled together, can be hard to navigate with kids.

Jeff (10/5): - Great staff, decent rooms, close to massage / stores / food / pool hall / and dispensaries. A few blocks from PaTong Beach & a block or two from Jungceylon mall. Breakfast via room service was delicious every morning. I definitely recommend the Western omelette. Their version of a French Dip might be the worst attempt I've ever eaten on planet earth, lol, but A for the effort. Burger was good. As mentioned in some other reviews, there is no elevator but it's not like there are 40 floors. You might get stuck going up 2 or 3 floors but it's only when you arrive and when you leave - not the end of the world, especially if you pack fairly light like I did. Compared to ALL hotels or resorts, I give it a 38 out of 100. Compared to budget hotels, I give it 85 out of 100. Good spot for the money and I would stay here again.

B (8/5): Home from home. - Second time I have stayed at Summer Breeze and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. OK, so its not a 4 or 5 star hotel. No pool, no lift etc. but that is more than made up for by, comfort, excellent food, the friendliest staff in the whole of Patong. It definitely feels like a 'home from home'

Anurag (10/5): Exceptional - Located right next to the Bangla Walking Street, the hotel is surprisingly quiet even though it is located in such a busy locality. The staff was very nice and made my stay there very comfortable. The rooms were well-equipped and stocked. The bed is quite comfortable and the WiFi also was very good. The night markets are very close by, as are the night clubs. The part I liked the most was constantly running sports broadcast in the bar/restaurant area. Kept there for quite some time, rather unnecessarily :P

Sonat (10/5): Managed by amazing ladies who made my stay feel incredibly homey. Would definitely book again. - Excellent boutique hotel at the heart of Patong. Very kind management and staff that were super helpful. The restaurant has amazing food and drinks for very affordable prices. Nothing to do with the hotel but the street is quite busy and can get noisy (I think the local government should consider closing the road for traffic after 6, just like they do in Bangla road, as it gets quite hectic). This wasn't a problem for me as I sleep with earbuds but this may not be the place for you if you want some peace and quiet.

Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend it. Although the Summer Breeze Hotel is a well-maintained property with clean and comfortable rooms, my experience was negatively impacted by the behavior of the white American hotel owner, who came across as a little racist during our interactions. While the other staff members were friendly and accommodating, this issue left a bad taste in my mouth. I would caution potential guests especially if you are not white to be aware of this issue before booking, and I hope that the hotel management takes steps to address it.

Bernard (10/5): Superb budget hotel. - Superb budget hotel in a superb location. The bedroom was one of the biggest and best I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower was excellent. Room servicing was superb.The bar and restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices. But what made the stay so enjoyable was the friendly and smiley faces of the hard working girls on the staff. Once they have the planned elevator fitted, it should be given a 4 star rating.
