Guest Reviews
- James (7/5): Just okay - everything worked. - All decent enough Just a little more refinement would be nice. For the elevated price point.
Koffie is heerlijk. Helemaal niets.
- Phillip (8/5): Great for a stopover and easy to get to places like the night market. - Friendly helpful staff, great location and pool was awesome. NA
- Sarah (9/5): Lovely friendly hotel. - A lovely friendly hotel that is 10 minute walk to the night market. The pool is idyllic and all the staff are extremely helpful. Mimi went above and beyond. A great selection at breakfast and the fresh omelette was just what needed to start my day. It was a little further out than I had initially thought but I actually liked this.

Niets

- YunChen (10/5): P’mimi is very nice and help me a lot! All of the staff there are very nice! Will definitely come back again - The staffs there are very welcoming very friendly No

- James (8/5): peaceful and welcoming - Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, room and resort was very clean and the decor/styling made us feel very comfortable and tranquil.
The breakfast was good with friendly staff and a great cook who made fresh eggs to order. The main shower head was broken and was difficult to use, the safe was locked open and couldn't operate it to secure our valuables.
balcony tables were too high for sitting at (they either need lowering or seats need to be higher).
- Corrine (10/5): -
- Christina (9/5): -
- Rodrigues (5/5): Not worth the price.

- Chris (9/5): Great defo going back - Everything Nothing
- Prashant (8/5): Quite refereshing stay - The property is located close to the night market and the main hub of all activity’s. All the eating places are just a short walk away.
The property is quiet and well maintained, offers an excellent breakfast with live counters lived the soup and yogurt. The staff is courteous and helpful.
- Healy (9/5): Centrally located and well appointed and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff made the stay very en -
- Ashraf (10/5): - Very nice boutique hotel. Very clean with friendly helpful staff.
- Valerie (6/5): The hotel needs some upgrades - The friendliness of the staff, and the swimming pool area. The reception and the breakfast area are run down. They look more like an youth hostel !
In the room, you can't open the curtains, otherwise no privacy. The rooms needs to be refreshed.
- Valerie (6/5): Could be much better - The staff were really nice.
The swimming pool.
And diner by the pool. The reception area and the breakfast area looks like an hostel, not like a 4 stars boutique hotel.
My room was ok, but not to my expectation of a 4 star boutique hotel. The window should have a light white curtain in addition to the red, to allow light and privacy.
The selection of fruit for breakfast was poor.
- Quynh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maura (9/5): Great hotel recommend it to anyone - Nice hotel with good breakfast and very friendly personal. They are willing to help you any time. And the location is not far from the center and very quiet. Swimming Pool is great with lovely beds and towels. Nothing
- Barrie (7/5): for the price it was good, a few days was ok but i would not recommend it for more - location and staff breakfast options not very good,
- Blake (8/5): Very good - Lovely staff. A bit away from the downtown area. A little bit noisy from neighbouring rooms
- KUMSIK (8/5): - No parking
- Marilena (9/5): Superb - Kindness of staff. Good breakfast. Calm location
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): I would stay here again.. - The staff is awesome! Location is great ! Good place nothing U did not like…
- Nebojsa (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location. It was in a quiet area but within walking distance of many of the attractions.
- Christopher (9/5): Really enjoyed the hotel, except our neighbours - Delightful boutique hotel with a lovely swimming pool in the central courtyard. Room inadequately soundproofed, which was a problem when our inconsiderate neighbours went out leaving the TV on, full blast, and didn’t return until nearly midnight. The staff eventually turned it off.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place to stay, staff were excellent
- Juan (7/5): Good -
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Great hotel great staff great location Constructive criticism
You need somewhere other then the floor to put your luggage and the table on the balcony is too high to sit at
- Barb (10/5): Great staff, choice for breakfast excellent. - Great location, close enough to centre, but quiet location. Nothing.
- Matthew (9/5): Beautiful hotel with excellent hosts. - The staff were so friendly and obliging. Breakfast was good quality and lots of variety. Room very clean, well appointed, with a lovely traditional feel. The only thing I would say, there is no privacy wall or divider between balconies but this is a minor detail.
I would still chose this hotel again.
- Kevin (10/5): - Our family occupied 3 rooms during our stay here and it was such a relaxing and great experience. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a great resort-like vibe throughout. The pool was an incredible touch - our family used it multiple times a day when we weren’t on tours/activities.
Staff were extremely hospitable, friendly and polite. Nothing negative to say about this hotel - met and exceeded expectations.
Location was great - we walked every night into the city to the night markets (approx 10min walk).
As with most countries in Asia - make sure you pack insect repellent. Otherwise you’ll spend half your time scratching those bites across your body!
Will definitely return should we find ourselves in this city again.
- Karen (10/5): Great hotel - Lovely place down a quiet street. Easy 5 to 10 minute walk into night market. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms spacious. Bed was huge. I am vegan and although there was no plant based milk and limited vegan options at breakfast they always cooked me a huge plate of stir fried vegetables Nothing really
- June (8/5): Great Hotel Great Location - We had a lovely stay here. The staff were friendly in particular Mr Oun. Our room balcony overlooked the pool. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts during our stay. There are lots of cafes and restaurants within 10 mins walk from the hotel. Nothing
- Alan (7/5): A small hotel that is tucked away within walking distance of the town. - The hotel is an older Thai or Lanna style with lots of dark wood. It is in a courtyard layout with the pool in the middle. The staff, especially the female staff members were very helpful. The staff arranged for food for my wife to present to the local monks. It is within walking distance of the night market which is where we ate. The bath tub has a very high edge and is difficult to climb in/out.
- Vladislav (9/5): Superb -
- Marvin (8/5): Great hotel for the price, if you're not very fussy - The location is good, traditional woodmade style house, big swimming pool. Feel really chill. The quality of breakfast need improve, facilities are old.
- Stefano (8/5): Enjoy Luang Prabang in a traditional hotel. - Nice and cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Luang Prabang. The wooden walls don't provide great protection against noise.
- Janine (6/5): Pleasant - Service personnel, breakfast Bathroom: the day I arrived the holder of the shower head almost fell off, the water was running out on the wrong end from the shower head, spider webs all over the bathroom, I had no soap and when I turned on the water a little longer in the sink I suddendly had water on the bathroom floor. I mentioned the first 4 points to the staff and I received soap immediately after and at least the shower head they fixed (after more than 24 hrs).
Pool: The only reason I booked this accomodation was because of the pool, however after the first time I went in, my newly washed white bikini was yellowish. I did see them clean it but after this I was not wanting to have another go.
Wifi: very weak access in the rooms
- Alison (9/5): Nice pool to relax by - Nice room, lovely pool. Breakfast was good. Seemed to be a quiet neighbourhood but still walkable into the centre of Luang Prabang.
- Bulakovskiy (8/5): Very good - The swimmimg pool and breakfast were very nice. Delicious coffee and friendly staff. It was all great. Maybe having a more traditional shower next to the magic shower would have been a good suggestion.... (it is just for the swimming pool)
- Atthasit (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (10/5): Had a great stay. The location was fantastic and staff are amazing - The staff were extremely helpful and always attentive and friendly. The location is great. The free bikes were an added bonus
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Walter (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): we were very happy with the facilities and the staff. excellent place to stay in Luang Prabang - everything perhaps a little more substantial shade around the pool would be my only suggestion
- Julie (9/5): My stay was very enjoyable. - The hotel is in an excellent location, close enough to walk or bike into the little town but not on a major road for noise. The staff is very, very nice. The pool was clean and I used it almost everyday. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom has a real shower and tub. They have free bikes for you to use. They can set up airport transfers. There is no cocktail bar so don’t expect to have drinks by the pool. But I knew that going in.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Marieke (7/5): Second time Luang Prabang - The rooms are spacious and so is the setup of the property. The pool is nice and I loved the free bikes (considering that guided tours are so expensive in Laos, so we did a bit of discovery ourselves on the bikes).
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
However, the curtains in the room should be replaced cause if you open them, everyone can see everything in your room, while keeping curtains closed is quite dark. The room has a lot of wood, but the floor is a bit slippery if you walk barefoot.
Breakfast options were ok. The hotel advertised that it has a restaurant, but it was closed the whole time. If not enough guests, I can understand, but inform the guests. This was a big minus/disappointment as one of the reasons for booking the hotel.
The doors to the balcony did not close very well.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -

- Rachelle (7/5): Good - Quiet place with lovely pool area. The staff were friendly but not a lot of choice of
for tours. When asked about local tours I got 2
options, and no other info.
- Katherine (10/5): Lovely hotel, helpful staff, great location. Would happily stay again. - Tasty breakfast, nice view.

excellence breakfasts and wonderful catering staff.

and there was no bar
- Trudy (8/5): there are better hotels in Luang Prabang with better value. - location is good. breakfast was very tasty and lots of fruits., staff were friendly and helpful. facilities are a little old. our rooms air conditioner did not work at night and we had to move to another room which was not as good. bed and pillow was lumpy.

- Xi (9/5): Beautiful comfortable hotel at an accessible location with free bikes to borrow! - The hotel was truly beautiful and looks like the pictures posted! The room was nicely decorated and large and comfortable to stay in. The location is nice - super close walk to the night market and Main Street but not too close that it’s noisy. Nearby there’s a fancier massage place (MK Spa) right down the street and a nameless tapioca noodle shop that I ate at every morning. The staff is nice and friendly. I loved having a balcony since I had to work a little bit while on vacation. Overall just pleasant to stay at and made me smile when I first walked in. The pool is really nice to swim you despite being a bit short and a bit cold right now in February. Love that you can borrow a bike from the hotel for free! It’s not far from everything but to get to Wat Xieng Thong and other places up north it’s nice to bike over especially in the afternoon heat. These are all super minor things. The balcony faces the inside toward the pool, so if you’re on it there’s not much privacy - everyone sees you. Same thing if you don’t close the curtain, but it’s a bit dark in the room even during the day with lights on. Wish the soap provided was actually soapy - it’s really dry and hard to use. The wifi doesn’t get to the bathroom and hot water doesn’t come out consistently to fill the tub with warm enough, so the bath I tried to take was a bit less than expected.
- Marg (9/5): Hotel was very convenient and quite a nice place to stay. I would request an upstairs room next time - Omelette was delicious Noise from the room above me
- Derek (8/5): Very good - lovely building and grounds. rooms with character. lack of electric points only one next to bed.
- Ruth (8/5): relaxing retreat in Luang Prabang - delightful retreat about 5/10 minute walk to night market n restaurants. large upstairs room with balcony well appointed. reasonable size bathroom with deep high bathtub with shower over same. careful on step to get out of bathtub. staff very friendly, helpful n welcoming!!! great clean swimming pool u can chill out. just be careful getting in n out of deep bath.
- Catuxa (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (8/5): A comfortable oasis to rest at in Luang Prabang - It's a good hotel in that it generally meets my requirements and expectations. The architecture and setting are accurately portrayed by the promotional pictures. The staff are polite and friendly. The rooms constructed from wood have poor soundproofing, and you can hear your neighbour's conversion distinctly. Ear plugs are available, but this should be made known upfront.
Polite staff did not understand my expressed needs to hire a vehicle, which led to wasting valuable time, and I resolved it myself quickly.
TV reception quality is poor and limited in content.
When wanting to pay with my credit card used for the booking, they want to add the bank charges, which I consider illegal.
- Julapong (8/5): Very good -
- Christoph (9/5): Superb - Hotel area, breakfast, very nice and helpful hotel staff, nice room. Laundry service next door to the hotel, doesn't belongs to the hotel but also great! Just a bit far from the town center but it's not really a problem. Still good to reach by walking.
- Clark (8/5): Very good -
