Guest Reviews
- Ian (10/5): - Great stay a short walk from the centre of Moffat. Caroline and Miles are super helpful and nice (Miles kept parking spaces free for us so we could park our motorcycles right outside the front of the hotel.) Plenty of parking on this quiet street. There are just 3 rooms here. They are a good size, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great quality with lots of choice. Couldn’t fault the quality and service and will definitely return.
- Eveline (10/5): - We liked the personal touch. They made us feel special.
- John (10/5): Lovely weekend break - Queensberry House is such a comfortable b and b. Located in a quiet terrace a short walk to Moffat main street.
Caroline and Miles are wonderful hosts - helpful, kind and considerate.
Breakfast is made to order, and truly delicious.
This was our second visit, and we will go bacl
- Robert (10/5): Scotland visit. - Absolutely loved staying in the Queensberry House b&b! Beautifully decorated and stylish rooms to the outstanding location, very nice and quiet area, plus scrumptiously delicious breakfasts too! Both Caroline and Miles are the perfect hosts who are attentive to your every need, whether it be looking for places to visit, eat or drink to the local history and much more besides, they are such lovely people and we really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful place and would highly recommend their fantastic b&b to anyone! So looking forward to visiting again in the future!
- Ann (10/5): - A welcome cup of tea and biscuits was presented on arrival: It was super clean with fresh crisp bedding and soft towelsComfortable warm central heating and hot water in a pristine shower room. The guidelines sent before our visit detailed walks and tourist attractions and this was VERY helpful. Our hosts clearly love this area and are knowledgeable on its history. Breakfast was substantial with delicious choices.Excellent service and value.
- Eleanor (10/5): - The house was situated in a very attractive location with beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit all around. Our hosts were very helpful both before and during our stay, and the accommodation was first-class.
- Darren (10/5): - Queensbury is a must stay if you’re in the area. Both Caroline and Miles, owners, are very knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. The beds are comfortable after a days exploring, with an ensuite to freshen up. The breakfast was first rate, and cooked fresh to order from a menu which you leave out the night before.
Parking is ample, location is excellent, and Moffat has enough eateries to dine differently for at least 4-5 nights.
Our room was freshly decorated, and was clean and comfortable. I would say this was the best B&B that we’ve stayed in whilst in Scotland. We will certainly be re-visiting later in the year again.
- Wendy (10/5): Nothing was too much trouble. - Fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious. I would definitely recommend Queensberry House. Thank you for a perfect stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Homely, welcoming and immaculate and just what was needed after a very busy few days. In a a lovely spot just off the main part of town, the Queensberry was calm and peaceful but still convenient. Excellent breakfast choice and most helpful hosts. Highly recommended
- Robert (10/5): - Amazing stay, would definitely recommend!
- Benedicta Bridget (10/5): - The Queensberry was an excellent choice of B&B. I cannot fault it in any manner.
- John (10/5): Magnificent - very enjoyable short break.
- Steve (10/5): Nice hotel in beautiful village. - Really friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast.
- Alison (10/5): Great Guest House Ideally Situated - Enjoyable stay with very hospitable hosts Caroline and Miles
Perfect location on our journey through Scotland
Would recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely B & B. We stayed here a few years ago with different owners and it is still a very high standard.
- Maryvonne (10/5): charmant guest house! Very friendly staff. - Super house gérée par un couple adorable (Miles parle français et Caroline est très gentille) .
Perfect stay with very nice staff: Miles speaks french and his wife is lovely. Their breakfast is very good .
Toujours le même souci en Ecosse: l'heure du dîner: les restaurants ferment dès 21h voir avant.
Always the same difficulty in Scotland : to find a restaurant open after 21h .
- David (10/5): Welcoming accommodation in a lovely area - Lovely accommodation with welcoming owners who provided a much needed pot of tea on our arrival. The property is in a quiet location just a short walk from Moffat centre with lots of choice for eating out. We only used it as a last minute booking as a stopover on our way home from Scotland but could have easily spent more days there as there is plenty to see and do in the area.
- M (10/5): Found a little gem - Stayed at the queensbury as a stop over on the way to Aberdeen. We were welcomed by Denise showed us the rooms. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, we stayed in the bluebell room.
Denise brought us a very welcome tea, coffee and cake on our arrival. Denise and Paul gave us some pointers on the best places to eat for our evening meal.
We were asked, at around what time would we would like breakfast in the morning, rather than there being a time that was set, making breakfast a relaxed time. The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked.
Moffat town was a short walk away and a pleasant place to explore.
It was an all round excellent stay and the queensbury would be the place we would stay the next time we are in Moffat. Thankyou Denise and Paul
