Si la personne en dessous bougent, ça grince et ça fait tout vibrer. C est assez propre mais pour le prix, un petit effort serait apprecié.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenable - Séjour convenable juste pour une nuit ou deux car on partage la chambre avec d’autres . Les parties parties commune sont propre douches et toilettes sur les étages. Juste le lit n’était pas fait à mon arrivé mais drap à disposition pour le faire.
- romi (8/5): - 👍Muy buena onda y predisposición de los recepcionistas, sobre todo de las mujeres que hablan varios idiomas. El lugar es estéticamente lindo, con ambientes comunes acogedores. La habitación grande (compartí con 6 personas). Tiene doble bacha dentro. Tienen disponibilidad de paraguas, adaptadores, secadores de pelo que te ofrecen en consignación por un monto pequeño (al devolverlo te reintegran el dinero) La zona es muy movida, peatonal con un montón de bares y lugares de comida callejera. Es muy lindo, seguro, pero hay mucho ruido en la calle hasta las 3 de la mañana aprox. Se encuentra en un muy buen punto para recorrer todos los lugares a pie. 👎No hay baño en las habitaciones. Los mismos se encuentran en los entrepisos, las duchas por un lado y los inodoros por otro.

Además de tener una mala experiencia con las compañeras de habitación que me atacaron a mi sin yo tener culpa. Además del mal momento y de reubicarme a altas horas de la noche (23.30) no recibí una buena atención como recompensa de su error.
- Jess (10/5): - This was my first experience staying at a hostel and I loved it!! Traveling Solo woman I googled and read every review I could find and to make sure it was clean and safe and it was! For someone who only really was there nights, it was perfect! They held my suitcase all day in their safe so I didn't have to leave it in the dorm. They also have lockers you can put 50 cent in, create your own combo and leave for the day! It made traveling around Paris so much easier, knowing I didn't have to haul all the big things with me! Staff was amazing! They remembered my name so every time I walked by the staff would greet me by name! If youre wanting something thats clean and safe I would 100% recommend them!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Super pour passer mes examens. - Situé à proximité du lieu de mes examens, pour mes études. Bon accueil, ambiance très sympathique, musique de qualité variable au guichet. Réveillé par mes camarades de dortoirs qui rentraient tard, mais je m'y attendais. Chambre vide en journée, idéal pour réviser. Wi-fi très bon, même au dernier étage. Plein d'endroits où manger à proximité : supérette bio, marché, vaste choix de restaurants. Quartier magnifique à deux pas du Panthéon.

La porte claque toute la nuit quand les gens entrent dans la chambre. Matelas usés, donc on dort dans un trou
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overrated hostel and never choose it again - Absolutely overrated. The staff and common area there are great. But the dormitory looks quite a different from the website. Then I checked with the previous comments and some said that there are bed bugs here. I don't know if it is true. But overall the dormitory looks horrible. Besides, there is no escalator here and I have to take my luggage uptairs with a lot of efforts. If I were going to Paris again, I would rather spend more money to find another accommodations. But I believe that I could find another better hostel with such price.
- Carole (8/5): - The reception staff was friendly and helpful. A set of clean sheets was placed on each bed and the bathroom was cleaned in the morning by employee. What I did not like is that there is no elevator and the wooden stairs are very narrow and winding, and difficult to manage with a heavy suitcase. When in the lower bed, one gets disturbed each time the upper bed occupant turns around as the whole bunk unit shakes. There were only 4 lockers for a 6-person room, and they were good only for valuables due to their small size.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 立地が良い - 6人相部屋に宿泊しました。室外になりますが、施設内にはシャワーやトイレもあり困ることはありませんでした。個人ロッカーもあるが、管理が気になる方は、ロックを自前かフロントで購入する必要があります。パリの中心地で駅やスーパーもあり、立地はとても良いです。ベッドにカーテンが無いなどプライベートスペースはほぼ有りませんが、ユースホステルに慣れている方にはとてもオススメの宿泊施設です。

The only bad thing about this property is you can’t stay longer than 7days per year which sucks because I stayed 7days and was leaving for Venice and was coming back few days later to Paris and wanted to stay there again for 2 nights and they told me I couldn’t which sucks. So there goes my year stay there I guess I won’t be going back maybe one day
- Yo Seb (8/5): 감성 하나로 먹고 들어가는곳 - 전역하고 한달도안되서 여행왔는데 군대있어서 그런지 몰라도 침대가 있다는것 만으로도 만족했음 뭐 다른후기 보면 계단 비좁고 높다고 하는데 감성이라면 감성이라고 생각했고 화장실이 3층에 한개밖에 없는거랑 공용 샤워실이 생각보다 좁고 적어서 불편하다면 불편했음 잘때 찬바람들어오는데 혹한기생각하면 실내에서 잔다는것에 큰 만족이였고 위치가 아주좋아서 걸어서 에펠탑까지 갔다가 지하철타고 오기도 괜찮은듯 직원들은 뭐 불편한건 없느냐 주변어떻냐 서비스 자체는 만족했음 콘센트가 1개여서 멀티탭하나에 다 꽂아쓰는건 조금 별로긴했음 락카도 있어서 중요물건 넣을수 있긴한데 캐리어는 고사하고 좀 큰 백팩도 넣기 힘들 사이즈이므로 참고하시길 전체적으로 위치 하나랑 직원들 서비스, 주기적으로 관리하는모습이보여서 크게 만족했음

- Maria Talia (8/5): - En general la estancia fue buena, los recepcionistas muy buenos todos, a pesar de alguno no hablar español ni yo francés pudimos comunicarnos igual. Tuvimos un inconveniente con la calefacción de la habitación y estuvimos dos noches sin la misma hasta que la arreglaron, pero al menos nos dieron mantas de mas!. La habitación del segundo piso muy ruidosa, da gusto a la calle, tal vez deberían probar con alguna otra cortina mas gruesa o algo para que aísle un poco mas el ruido. Solo había dos duchas para todos, tal vez un par mas no vendrían mal. La limpieza en todos los sectores comunes muy buena y en la habitación también. La ubicación muy buena, hay supermercado a dos cuadras, hay un mini mercado al lado, bares, comidas al paso y para sentarse también. Los huéspedes muy buena onda todos!!! Sin dudas volvería a hospedarme.

- N (4/5): - 12月中旬に利用したのですが、毛布がペラッペラで、ダウンコートを重ねたものの脚が寒すぎて夜中に起きてしまうほどでした。 ある夜、部屋の電気が一切点かなくなってしまい、真っ暗な中で寝支度をし、充電もできずと、散々でした。翌朝レセプションに告げたところ、「オウケイ後で行くわ」とだけ言われ、結局チェックアウトするときまで問題は解決しませんでした。英語が拙いから舐められていたのでしょうか… この宿の唯一の利点は、ノートルダム大聖堂やリュクサンブール公園など、観光名所に近いということです。ルーヴルへも徒歩30分ほどで行けました。

- Katrina (4/5): - The only reason I am not giving this hostel the lowest possible rating is because the staff were helpful and the price is good for the location. HOWEVER, IT IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS!!!!! My bites did not appear until half a week after my stay, but after reading reviews from other customers who also got bitten, and seeing the lack of hygiene in this hostel firsthand, I am convinced that the bites came from this hostel. It is clear that the rooms, let alone the beds, are not regularly maintained, and there is this dank mustiness to the room the moment you step in. In addition, the bathrooms and showers are only located on ONE level of the hostel, and there is only ONE sink there (although there is one sink in each shared room). As such, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night is a feat, and if you're trying to get ready during peak bathroom hour in the morning, good luck. Also, on my first night, one of the showers did not drain. It was disgusting. Thankfully, it seemed to have been fixed after the first night. I should have read all the reviews before I booked this. It is a good price for the location, but the lack of cleanliness and subsequent trauma from bug bites is NOT worth it!! Stay somewhere else.

- Carlos (4/5): Hostel Fraquíssimo em boa localização - Muito, Muito Fraco este Hostel. Pouquíssimos banheiros, pouquíssimos chuveiros, escada íngreme interna (se preparem pros que vierem com malas médias/grandes), café da manhã (4€) pífio, pra não dizer medíocre. 02 Madrugadas consecutivas (depois das 02h da matina) que os dois banheiros disponíveis para os 4 andares de quartos, não tinham papéis higiênicos (acabam durante o dia, e ninguém repõe à noite). Chave magnética nos quartos que volta e meia emperra... TOTALMENTE FRUSTRANTE o Hostel, apesar de estar muito bem localizado !!!!

- henry (10/5): Nice location close to the river - 2 mins Walking distance to metro Place Monge. The area is full of restaurants and safe at night. I stayed for 5 nights at the 4 persons room with private shower room, the bed and room is clean. I love the kitchen where I can cook simple meal and make new friends. I will come back to this hostel.

- Luna (8/5): - The Latin Quarter is a fun place to stay convenient to the Luxenbourg Gardens and Pantheon. They were very nice in the check-in area. The bathroom in the room was a bit of a joke, and it was challenging at times to carry all my luggage up the narrow staircase.

- Daniel (8/5): Super Lage - normales Hostel - Das Hostel liegt in einer Straße, die einem sofort die romantischen Bilder in den Kopf ruft, die man von Paris erzählt bekommt. Kleine Geschäfte, Cafes und Bistros. Notre Dame ist wunderbar schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, so wie auch der Park Jardin de Luxemburg und die RER B Station (man muss von Charles de Gaulle kommend nicht umsteigen). Man kann fast alle Touristenorte innerhalb von 1,5 Stunden zu Fuß erreichen, das Pantheon in weniger als 10 Minuten, die Seine ist ca 20 Minuten entfernt und Notre Dame nur knapp länger. Die Straße selbst ist eher ruhig, in der direkten Umgebung gibt es diverse Geschäfte
- AJ (6/5): - Rue de Mouffetard is a fabulous location if you appreciate historic neighborhoods. Dragging luggage up cobblestone medieval streets however is a challenge, if you are a backpacker - no problem. Tiny, narrow, winding staircase up to dorms, leave your bags in storage on the ground floor! Love this lively location but will never stay here again in the warmer months - horrific heat on the upper levels, no fans, minimum ventilation and noisy street below. Sleepless night due to heat and noise from open window ( due to summer heat ). Do NOT purchase their breakfast which is a rip off. You will get a much better meal & deal - elsewhere in just about ANY cafe or boulangerie. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional.
- Thaisa (8/5): Bem localizado - Hostel bem equipado, porém nos quartos em que eu fiquei não tinham armário no quarto e nem tomada em todas as camas. O banheiro fica apenas no segundo andar e shower no primeiro e segundo. É bem barulhento pois fica em uma rua movimentada, mas pra mim não foi um problema pois durmo mesmo com barulho. Não possui elevador. No mais possui recepção 24h e uma cozinha bem equipada e ótima localização, perto do metrô. Não comi o café da manhã de lá mas também não recomendo. Havia nada de extraordinário! Com 6 euros você compra coisas no mercado que tem ao lado e toma café por dois dias!
- Thamara (4/5): Decepcionante - O Hostel possui uma boa localização, fácil acesso ao metro, porém por ser muito antigo não possui elevador, escada muito pequena, e os recepcionistas não ajudam, tive que subir dois lances de escadas carregando mala. Tive um problema com o voo e ficamos eu e minha amiga no longe decidindo o que íamos fazer, ficamos em torno de 1h30, até definir e chamar o uber e tal, o atendente fui super mal educado, informando que estávamos a muito tempo ocupando o local é que assim seria necessario cobrar outra diária, saímos e ficamos na calcada aguardando o Uber. Péssimo atendimento e falta de respeito.

- Verified traveler (2/5): They canceled my reservation - I had a prepaid reservation with a confirmed late check in. There was a train delay. I emailed the hostel and looked at my reservation to make sure a late check in was guaranteed. It was. So I didn’t worry until I got there and I had no room. They canceled my reservation and there were no rooms. They couldn’t do a refund because the manager was on holiday. I’m still waiting to hear if I’ll get a refund.

- Emma (6/5): Good location - The hotel is located in a good place, however the rooms are in need of a good clean and the beds are really uncomfortable. Breakfast isn't worth the cost - I would recommend getting something from the local bakery or the supermarket next door instead.
- Karin (6/5): Clean and little security hostel - I stayed one night there in the room with fiur people. Except me, there were all guys. They were quiet in a room, so it was easy to sleep. But there was no locker and a plug for cellphone was far from my bed, so I was worried about the security. Nothing happened though. Toilettes were clean and the stuffs were friendly.
- Ainur (4/5): Good location and friendly staff - I think overall it's hard to find some decent stay at Paris for less expensive price. So, you have what you pay, no surprises. Good location.
- Cameron (8/5): Blame Corporate - The place has kind workers and decorations giving it a fun vibe, but despite this policies made the property function like a love-less factory and they have monitored everything possible. Not the place to be if you are averse to rules. The breakfast was a joke - just bread and juice/coffee. The bunk bed in my room had less than 2 ft of clearance, so you'll hit your head. The bathrooms are only on 2 of the 5 levels - no elevator. The Latin quarter/5th arrondissement is a great place for stree-side restaurants, bars, and cafes. The hostel is kept very clean, workers are helpful for trip planning, and there's a few places to congregate.
- NIMMAKAYALA (10/5): Neat & cleanly maintains... - I feel very comfortable & really enjoyed my stay for reasonable price. I strongly suggest everyone to go for it to make your trip as a memorable..... I wish everyone to have a wonderful & happy stay....!!!
- Zheng (10/5): Great location, great room and great staff - This hotel is great for its own decoration and the transportation nearby. At least in my single room, I feel very comfortable and nothing could match the joy of totally relaxing inside the room after an intensive tour trip in Paris through out the day. Many famous destination in Paris are easy to reach because of the hotel's great location. The staff were wonderful and English-friendly. If there was anything left to be desired, it could be the noisy pub down the street at night sometimes, as well as the sound from the toilet next door could be clearly heard whenever someone use it at mid-night.

- Alexa (8/5): Quirky and comfortable hostel, great location - I loved the atmosphere at Young and Happy and the room was also comfortable and clean. The staff were very nice and I found that the hostel provided everything I needed. The location on the Rue Mouffetard was buzzing every night with activity. There were many wonderful restaurants and sites nearby, and the hostel was easily accessible from the airport from the Luxembourg stop on the RER line B. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in the Latin Quarter and with an adventurous spirit!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hostel, but just one thing.... - I had a very good experience in this hostel, i met a lot of people from another contries, friends for the rest of my life. All the experiences was good! just one thing that really made me mad.. I stayed in a 6 shared room.. and there was only two PLUGS in a room, and only one was working. That was really terrible because everyone wanted to use the plug to charge their cameras or phones. that was the only bad experience i had, but the rest was very good !
- Sophie (4/5): Very small and too few toilets - The major positives about this hostel are the friendly staff and the great location. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it. It is in a tall, narrow building and the rooms are very small with many beds. There is no where in the room to really store your things and the bunks are close together and very flimsy. There is only 1 level with toilets in it. Since I was on the 4th floor I had to trek 2 floors down to go to the toilet and the same for the shower though they are on both 1st and 2nd floor. My bed was in the corner of the room in the top floor. Because the roof slopes my face was inches from the ceiling and I hit my head a lot. It was very cheap but I will not be staying there again.

- Anne (8/5): - I only stayed at Young & Happy overnight while I waited to meet up with family, but I had a great stay. The people were fantastic and it has a great atmosphere where it's easy to meet fellow travelers-I certainly met some characters! It's true that in a room for 6 there is only one outlet, but in the basement hangout/breakfast space there are power strips. I can't rate the showers because I was there for such a short amount of time, but the bathrooms seemed decently clean. Also, can't forget, GREAT neighborhood with plenty of places to eat and drink, and right next to a grocery store. It's also not far from the main tourist attractions.
- Brianne (8/5): Great little hostel - This hostel had a great atmosphere. The staff were great and knowledgable about the Paris attractions. The small nature of the hostel was perfect for meeting people. My only complaint is that they had a bit of trouble keeping the communal washrooms stocked. Overall a great place to stay!
- LSU (4/5): Only Location and staff are good - Only Location and staff are good. However, the hostel has no elevator. Also. the building is old. there is no power outlet. Wifi is available only close to the reception counter not in the whole lobby and not available as well in the rooms. There are no fans in the room, just open the windows. Also, the rest room is filthy all the time. No mix water in the showers only hot.
- tasch (8/5): nice, friendly staff, but extremely noisy - The staff is very friendly there. I've overslept check out time and checked out an hour later than it was expected and everyone was fine with it. The location is good - it is easy to get to the very centre and there are lot's of pubs and restaurants on the street. BUT it is extremely noise at night, because of this pubs and about 6:30 a.m big vans come to collect the garbage and they actually make unbelievable noise. So, if you care about the quality of your sleep or have any sleep disorders I would not recommend to stay there. However, I'm quite a "heavy-slepper", so the noise disturbed me partly. Also, there was just one plug in the room for 6 people, which was obviously not enough. Despite all that I had a pretty lovely stay in this hostel.
