• Mark (10/5): We hoped it would be perfect and it was. Stunning!! - Wonderful location and well equipped villa with a fantastic infinity pool. Magnificent view and even more magnificent staff!! Steve the driver is on hand whenever you need a lift anywhere on the island, to help with restaurant and activity recommendations and generally ensure that whatever you need is sorted. Truly delightful stay.

• Thomas (10/5): Perfekt - We stayed in this beautiful villa on Koh Tao for 6 nights and were absolutely thrilled! A clear 5-star experience! The villa itself is very well equipped, spotless, and you can really tell that a lot of attention has been paid to quality and detail. The absolute highlight, however, is the view. simply breathtaking! Waking up to this scenery every day was something truly special. A huge shoutout also to Steve, the driver: he was always available, incredibly reliable, and took us anywhere we wanted to go on the island. On top of that, he gave us fantastic recommendations for the best beaches, restaurants, and more, which really made our stay even better. If there’s one tiny thing to mention (on a very high level), it would be that there wasn’t a dining table on the large outdoor terrace. So we had to eat inside. This didn’t bother us at all, but having a table outside would have made the experience absolutely perfect. All in all, an amazing stay! we would come back anytime!

• Janina (10/5): - Die Monkey Flower Villa ist ein absolutes Juwel! Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein – der traumhafte Blick auf den Saree Beach ist einfach atemberaubend. Jeden Morgen wurden wir von der Schönheit des Sonnenaufgangs verzaubert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Fahrservice, der uns stets zuverlässig und pünktlich zu unseren Zielen gebracht hat. Steve, unser Fahrer, hat unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Seine Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft waren bemerkenswert. Er stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlten. Die Ausstattung der Villa ist extravagant und äußerst schön. Jedes Detail wurde mit viel Liebe zum Design ausgewählt, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir am liebsten gar nicht mehr abreisen wollten. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Monkey Flower Villa ein traumhaftes Erlebnis, das wir jedem nur empfehlen können!

The villa is very spacious and you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail. there are so many small touches that clearly came from the owners’ own hands. The view is just outstanding. It’s one of those views you never get tired of, no matter how long you sit and look at it. Since the villa is located high up in the hills, there’s always a great breeze when sitting outside. not typical to the climate in Thailand where its always humid. The water pressure in the shower is super strong and the water gets really hot, which made showering there surprisingly enjoyable. also not typical to the island's water pressure. They also provide fresh, real coffee with a proper brewing machine, which was a really nice touch. Housekeeping was excellent as well. they clean everything thoroughly and keep the place in great condition. Muhammed, the host, deserves a big mention! He’s a great guy, welcomed us warmly and really went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. He’s a smart and knowledgeable guy, easy to talk to and dive into conversations, and his recommendations were all spot on! Overall, this villa is definitely worth every penny. Would 100% recommend.

• Oksana (10/5): Unforgettable stay in villa Gardenia - We had an amazing stay at Villa Gardenia. It’s a truly beautiful place, and the view is simply breathtaking, waking up to it every day was the highlight of our trip. The beds were very comfortable, the house was spotless, and everything was carefully maintained by the daily cleaning crew. It made it easy to completely relax and enjoy the surroundings. The manager, Mohammed, was caring and attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. And Steve- Steve- was an absolute hero, confidently driving those steep hills in his Toyota and taking us wherever we needed to go. Our rides with him were such a fun and memorable part of the experience. I highly recommend staying with Monkey Villas- they really know what they’re doing. This is a place we won’t forget.

• steve (10/5): Loved Koh Tao and Monkey Flower Villas - can't wait to go back - Idyllic. Like a little oasis of calm and tranquillity. It was wonderful to wake up & go for a dip in the pool while looking out at the wonderful view of the sea. The accommodation reminded us of a hobbit house, very quirky & niche. It has a loft area with 2 further double beds in. We were also surprised to find a key board up there! Steve is lovely and was always on hand to run you where ever you wanted to go & took us to some great beaches. The local restaurants also deliver to your door. Steve & Mo are lovely people and make you feel very welcome

The children and myself loved jumping off the roof into the pool . Gorgeous views . Very clean they come and clean your place every day . Steve was fabulous and on hand to Take you anywhere you want to go loved the burner phone we were given to communicate. Koh Tao is stunning and very Vibey we had such a good time . Fresh coffee was nice to have each morning The accommodation is high on a hill, so you really are reliant on the driver service unless you have a scooter. A driver was excellent and usually instantly available, except for one instance where we felt a bit stranded waiting for an hour with no communication. There's also no really living/lounge area in the Bougainvilla (2 bedrooms), however the bedrooms are large. The loft is up a steep ladder, so we didn't use it at all

• Markus (10/5): - Wunderschöne Villa mit traumhaftem Infinity-Pool und erhöhter Lage. Absolut spektakulär! Der Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende einfach traumhaft. Das Housekeeping-Team war mega lieb, extrem hilfsbereit und hat stets sehr gründlich gereinigt. Ein besonderes Highlight war Steve, der Fahrer, der jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Einfach genial! Dank ihm konnten wir die gesamte Insel wunderbar erkunden. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Mo, Steve and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful and friendly. The beds are comfy, the towels are soft. Theres nothing quite like it with hidden sunset treehouse and fantastic swimming pool. It’s a very steep drive. Luckily Steve was on hand to take us anywhere we wanted to go.

• Mary-Anne (10/5): Most beautiful and peaceful stay with breath taking views of the island and gorgeous gardens - This was a truly unique and beautiful villa with the most breath taking views and exceptional gardens. So much care and thought has gone into making this space special and my family of 5, ranging from age 3 upwards had the most wonderful stay. It’s really nice to stay somewhere peaceful away from the frantic but exciting centre. The icing was having Steve the designated driver around the island who just made the trip and I don’t think we would have had as good time without him. Thank you Loved everything- I don’t think I’d have enjoyed having my own car and risking the steep hill driving to the property!! Steve was extremely experienced!

Unser persönlicher Fahrer Steve war sehr zuverlässig und mega freundlich. Der Shuttle war kostenlos für uns zur Verfügung gestellt worden, inclusive Abholung vom Hafen. Die Villa ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Sowas haben wir noch nie gesehen. Vom Dach in den Infinity Pool springen macht sehr viel Spaß. Wir kommen wieder, versprochen.

Villa is superschoon en het schoonmaak personeel is snel en discreet. Echt fantastisch verblijf gehad Niks. Enige waar je rekening mee moet houden is de steile hellingen dat kan je niet zelf met de scooter doen. Maar daarvoor heb je je fantastische chauffeur Steve!

It is also no problem to walk to the city, the hill is just a bit steep. The view is amazing and it is very nice to watch the sunset from the pool.
• Angela (9/5): Perfect little hideaway - The villa was perfect for us. Well equipped and very clean. Cute little pool. Sadly the weather wasn't kind to us so we didn't use it. Steve, the resident 'driver' was amazing and dropped us off and picked us up whenever we needed him. If you are in anyway not good with steep hills, this is not somewhere for you. But that is very well explained before booking.

Traumhafter Ausblick auf den Strand, toller Pool und hochwertige Ausstattung. Das Team war äußerst freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar – Mohamed und Fahrer Steve haben uns spontan zu Ausflügen, inklusive einer Bootstour, und an beliebige Orte auf der Insel gebracht. Von der Abholung am Pier bis zur Rückkehr von unseren Ausflügen hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Nichts

• Juliette (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf in Koh Tao - Steve bracht ons overal naar toe. We kregen onze eigen telefoon waarmee we hem konden bellen. Ontzettend fijn, want er is weinig openbaar vervoer op Koh Tao. We hebben zo veel kunnen zien van hef eiland. Ook het zwembad beviel onze kinderen goed. We zaten in de Bougainvilla.Met ons gezin van 5 was dit prima. Heel fijn om 3 slaapkamers te hebben. Het huisje was erg schoon en je hebt een fantastisch uitzicht over de baai. Sairee beach met veel leuke restaurantjes is ook dichtbij. Heel vriendelijke personeel en eigenaar. Een absolute aanrader!

• S (10/5): Super! - Wat een geweldig verblijf was dit! Samen met kinderen (14&16) aangekomen waren we overdonderd door dit fantastische adres. Niet gewend om zo luxe op vakantie te gaan, hadden we deze keer voor iets speciaals gekozen dat voor ons prijzig was. Maar wat hebben we genoten en wat was dit een bijzondere ervaring. Absoluut de moeite waard om eens mee te maken en prachtige herinneringen aan over te houden. Muhammed en Steve waren super aardig en stonden altijd klaar om je ergens naar toe te rijden (nodig ivm de weg naar het huis). Ook dat waren wij niet gewend en dus voelden wij ons soms wat bezwaard. Had niks met hen te maken, maar meer hoe wijzelf in het leven staan. Ze gaven het gevoel welkom te zijn. Ronduit bijzonder! We zijn ze erg dankbaar voor deze prachtige vakantieherinneringen. Zal ons eeuwig bijblijven. Hopelijk kunnen we nog eens terug. Liever dan maar een paar dagen minder op vakantie om dit te kunnen betalen. Als je iets te klagen zou hebben, dan vraag ik me af wat je normen en waarden zouden zijn. Kan me niks voorstellen.

• M. (10/5): - Wat een geweldig plek. Wij verbleven in Monkey Flower Villa nr. 3 (de kleinste maar nog steeds ruime villa) en wij (familie van 4 personen) hebben heel erg genoten. Het privé zwembad was groter dan verwacht, we konden er ruim met zijn vieren in en vanuit het zwembad keek je mooi uit over zee en een deel van het eiland. De kamers waren heel erg ruim en 1 van onze zoons heeft op het zoldertje geslapen waar ook airco aanwezig was. Mo heeft ons aan een prive boot geholpen voor rond het eiland en Steve heeft ons elke dag overal met de auto naar toe gebracht en weer gehaald, waarheen we maar wilde. Echt super om een prive taxi te kunnen gebruiken. Eten bestellen voor bij het huisje ging ook goed en we hebben al met al een hele fijne tijd gehad. Onze beide zonen wilde hier eigenlijk niet meer weg. Heel veel dank aan het team, aan Steve en Mo voor het hele fijne verblijf!
• Alain (10/5): In een woord geweldig!! - Het contact voordat we aankwamen was al super. Benadering ter plekke was ook heel persoonlijk en fijn. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het meeste beviel de vriendelijkheid maar bovenal dat we de luxe hadden om altijd een beroep te kunnen doen op Steve die ons overal naartoe bracht. De locatie was prachtig en de villa was super schoon. Woeker voor herhaling vatbaar 😊 Niks
• Danielle (10/5): Bij uitstek een plekje waar je de laatste dagen van je vakantie nog even optimaal wilt genieten! - We hadden de bougainville villa. Wat een fantastisch huis! Flesje frisdrank, water en bier in de koelkast, ijsklonten in de vriezer, grote mand fruit op tafel en een blender…. Smoothies on the way 😁 Uitzicht over het eiland en de zee, eigen zwembadje dat ruim groot genoeg is voor 4 volwassenen en heerlijk zitje buiten waar we nog een spelletje konden spelen in de late uurtjes. Bedden zijn fantastisch en ook de kussens zijn fijn. En Steve… hoe luxe is het dat, als je ergens naartoe wil, je Steve maar hoeft te bellen en hij brengt je waar je heen wilt! Onze gastheer Muhammed heeft bij vertrek nog gevraagd of we verbetertips voor hem hebben, maar we kunnen oprecht niets bedenken dat hier nog beter had gekund! Dat we niet langer hebben geboekt 😅
• christel (10/5): - Appartement qui correspondait à nos attentes et aux commentaires précédents . Petite villa avec deux chambres confortables. Le lit en 160 aurait été un plus. Clim et ventilo possibles dans les deux chambres mais bruyants. Une troisième chambre en mezzanine ( légère odeur de renfermé) accessible par une échelle raide ( donc que pour une personne agile. Nous étions avec une jeune de 18 ans qui a adoré ) . Cuisine donnant sur la superbe vue et sdb spacieuse . Pas de salon. Pour accéder à la terrasse ou à la piscine , il faut sortir de la maison et emprunter le chemin commun mais rien de gênant. Petite piscine à débordement ( plutôt pour se rafraîchir) avec une vue époustouflante de la verdure et mer au loin. Steve le chauffeur est au top comme décrit dans les commentaires. A notre service et Difficile de s’en passer vue les conditions de route. En effet pour accéder à la villa, pente extrêmement raide et atypique. Il faut s’accrocher à la barre du 4x4. Muhammed est venu nous saluer . Rien à redire. Nous étions au courant des avantages et inconvénients de cette villa que je ne conseille pas à des gens peu mobiles.

• Alexander (10/5): Top - jederzeit wieder!!! - Hier können wir nur positives berichten. Das Haus, insbesondere dessen Lage, ist wiklich traumhaft, mit Blick über die Bucht und auf das Meer. Der Gastgeber ist ausgesprochen herzlich und war immer für uns da, mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen auf der Insel und zu besonderen Stränden. Nicht unerwähnt soltte bleiben, dass wir jederzeit einen Taxi-Service hatten, der im Preis der Unterkunft inkludiert war. Der Fahrer, Steve, war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns überall hingebracht und wieder abgeholt. Alles in alem eine top Unterkunft.

• Tina (10/5): Der Aufenthalt war ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Das sollte man sich gönnen und genießen! - Tolle Erholung, super Service, sehr freundlich! Der Pool mit dem Ausblick ist fantastisch! Ein Paradies abseits vom Trubel. Oben am Haus wehte ein leichter Wind und dadurch war es nicht so heiß wie am Strand. Uns wurde eine unkomplizierte Bootstour organisiert. Toll war auch die Möglichkeit, anzurufen und gefahren zu werden. Absolute Empfehlung! /
• Sarah (10/5): - Do not hesitate to book monkey flower villas. We stayed in orchid villa, it was a treat holiday for some big birthdays in our family and my goodness, it was AMAZING. The Villa is another level, beautiful Gaudi-esque architecture, an infinitely pool overlooking sairee beach, a floating bed that overlooks the best view on the island. It’s stunning. But above and beyond that, are the little touches, the kindness and the customer service you will receive. Steve and Muhammad are absolute legends and helped us with so much, a mobile phone to request transport around the Island - no problem, arranging boat trips - no problem, helping us arrange for our laundry to be washed - again, no problem. All this with the stunning backdrop of Koh Tao and all the good vibes that comes with it. Book it - You won’t regret it.

• Bettina (8/5): Godt men ikke perfekt, personalet er vidunderligt og der er ekstremt rent. - Mohammed og Steve var fantastiske! Rengøringen er eminent god! Villaen er ok, men der træner til lidt renovering, det regnede ind i underetagen. Desuden kunne vinduerne på badeværelse øverst ikke lukkes, så der kom fine insekter og kryb ind om natten.

• Claus (10/5): Excellent stay, unique and exotic - Our stay at the Monkey flower villas was nothing absolutely amazing - The location is something else, and I would say this is the most unique stay we've ever had. Placed at the edge of the jungle in the hillside of Koh Tao. Adding to that the hospitality of Steve and Mo added so much to our experience and the driver service offered by the resort is amazing. Would recommend to anyone!

Die Gastgeber sind so fürsorglich und freundlich und erfüllen wirklich jegliche Wünsche die auch außerhalb der Unterkunft liegen. Wir hatten eine Asienrundreise aber diese Unterlunft und Gastfreundlichkeit übertraf alles! Die Häuser sind sauber,gepflegt und in einer tollen Lage. Wir empfehlen sie an jeden der Koh Tao besuchen möchte weiter! Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

They helped us when our son was ill and it was so wonderful having steve to take us to all the places we wanted to go. He was also able to recommend the best beaches. We would love to come again! A simply amazing villa with beautiful rooms, an amazing vista, very thoughtfully and beautifully designed and built with stunning features, surrounded by huge amounts of wildlife. As soon as you arrive you will never want to leave. The building and location aside, the staff are AMAZING!!! Super helpful, thoughtful, kind, nothing is too much trouble, they will see that your every need is met, whatever it may be. Mo you are a total star, you and sausage (the dog) were so welcoming, your island insights really enriched our stay, thank you. Steve, best driver EVER!! We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay because of you both and your lovely nature. I would recommend this beautiful place with these beautiful people to every single person I come across, as long as it means you still have space for us to return 🥰🌴🥰 We definitely left a piece of our hearts in Koh Tao with you 🥰
