- graham (9/5): Comfy few days at Riad Belle Époque - This was our first stay in Marrakesh so we were not sure what to expect. The Riad Belle Epoque was (very much as expected) down a narrow alley off a narrow alley and was difficult to find the first time. The outside gave no clue to the internal opulence. Inside was clean, comfortable and inviting. The Staff we met Nourddine, Slimane, Hamza and Azeddine were absolutely wonderful. Happy to chat (in English to us) and provided helpful information which gave us confidence navigating the somewhat chaotic outside world. In the Kitchen Fatima produced tasty and interesting meals whilst behind the scenes Khadia and Zoubia looked after our room. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay thank you. Not really a ‘didn’t like’ but the pool lacked movement suggesting no filtration. Given how guarded we were about the local water (we only consumed bottled water) we were a bit wary of it.

Llegamos cuando estaba lloviendo y no nos ayudaron a llevar las maletas al coche que estaba a 2 min andando. El patio era pequeño y no estaba muy limpio. Las fotos engañan. Había un olor extraño en la habitación. Riad muy caro para lo que es. Hay muchas mejores opciones en Marrakech.

Dan is het afhaalpunt voor dagtrips ook dichtbij. Lopen naar het grote plein in het centrum is goed te doen De Riad is klein en knus, het personeel ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader.

The Riad was beautiful and the staff members were kind and welcoming. The food prepared at the restaurant for dinner was very delicious as well. One of the receptionist behaved inappropriately, was lightly flirting with my partner and asked her personal information while they were alone, she felt unsafe and left. My partner didn't want to spoil our trip and told me this only after we left the country. I find this unprofessional.

The bed was large and very comfy. The staff are all exceptional, kind, friendly, helpful. Great location too. The tea and cookies when we arrived was a gracious and thoughtful gesture of hospitality. - CHRISTEL (9/5): - Es la segunda vez que nos alojamos en el Riad. Es un riad pequeñito, de 6 habitaciones. Estábamos solos! Nos encantó poder usar la piscina para refrescarnos a cualquier hora del día, incluso de noche. El patio interior que tiene, es súper acogedor. El personal una pasada de amable, siempre ofreciéndonos agua fria y té con pastitas. Los desayunos increibles de buenos, y nunca la misma cosa (opción de té y café). Nos repitieron la frase de "como en casa" y así fué. Las habitaciones tranquilas, como el riad está en un callejón no se escuchaba ni un ruido. Camas cómodas y habitaciones cálidas. Muy fácil acceder: Parking College Mohamed V y desde ahí caminando son 3 calles. A 15min a pié de la gran plaza Jemma El Fna, a 3min de una de las entradas del Souk, si contratas excursiones externas al hotel casi todas salen del College...

He handed me a build of city tax, but in the most stressful moment on the way to miss my flight. He ensaulted me and accused me. I would have lovede to book this in the future since I go to marrakesh 2 a year with 2 big groups. But because He was super rude, I am not gonna book with riad Belle again. Unfortunately.

Make sure you prepay for the rooms as if you choose pay on site you might end up victim to the cash machine not working and having to pay it all in cash. Keep your receipt as proof of pay. We lost over an hour with these logistics having to wait around to have the payment sorted.

Located in the Medina, it was great being part of the local friendly community. The area is very safe day and night and has lots of great restaurant options. The souk is close by which provides an interesting walk to the main square.

We added on a couple of days to our stay and they made such an effort to accommodate us. We had the Coco Chanel room which is so beautifully decorated. Loved all the art deco pieces and the photo's. Breakfast was good with different local dishes as well as continental. Easy to access all the sights of Marrakech with taxis available seconds away and so close to the souks! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The plunge pool was great after a day in the heat. Very cooling. Nothing

Abdelhak, Nourdidne & Youssef (front desk), Fatima (kitchen), and Khadija & Zoubida (Housekeeping) were amazing, superb and exceptional. It was awfully sweet for our European taste but hearty, different and served with great care and attention! The service in general was really great - guys at the front desk made us feel safe and well taken care of . As for the cleaning ladies - they were extremely caring and personal in their attitude with touching demonstration of attention to details . Fancy folding of towels may not be so unique but nicely folding up your laundry or bringing a dish with cutlery when they saw fruit in our room was really touching . And the personnel was literally invisible! Saying good buy to the hotel was heartbreaking. It was different and atmospheric but somebody may miss a TV, the third towel or heated floors in the bathroom.

- Kathryn (9/5): A very special, fun and memorable stay. - great location and very comfortable and easy to feel at home with the beautiful and traditional look and feel. all the staff made us feel very welcome and were always happy to help or answer any questions. the food was delicious and and bought/made to order, so it was always freshly prepared. overall we are very happy with our stay and would recommend! due to the nature of the building, the rooms are not well insulated from outside noise, so be sure to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, in case you have noisy neighbours! be sure to let them know often if you have any allergies and give them written notice so that they can prepare food accordingly

Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean, super comfy…Best hot, powerful shower ever! Location excellent for staying just outside the souks area or easily being able to enter them. The staff was friendly, helpful, multilingual.. and on top of things 24/7. We felt like family..the roof top garden was great for relaxing in after walking miles each day… I loved the coffee at breakfast (Nos nos) and the traditional “on the sweet side” breakfasts typical of the culture, but would have also liked some salty options (eggs..)
- Alma (2/5): Very deceiving and disappointed 😞 - I don't understand how this riad gets such a high rating. Please don't get trap by the online pictures. They are embellished. The place is super small, like a cave, dark and soffocating. The person in charge was very rude to us. Please don't believe their lies in their website that if you stay 3 nights or more the transfer from the airport is included. At the end, they will charge you for it. Breakfast is not worth it either. The swimming pool is tiny and dirty. The only area that was ok was the terrace. The room we stayed in was drepessing, poorly designed and you just want to get out of it. We will NEVER recommend this riad. It is a 2 star hotel. Not fabulous at all. Please do yourself a favor and don't stay there. I wish someone would have done it an honest review when we were looking for a place to stay.

- ESTEBAN (10/5): - The Riad Belle Époque is a small, comfortable and nice place to stay, but what it really distinguishes it is the excellent service of the staff. They are all very kind and generous. They all are excellent persons and are one of my best memories of my stay in Marrakech.

- Pandora (9/5): Superb - Friendly and helpful staff! Excellent location at the heart of Old Madina but such a quiet oasis to come "home" to! I love my room #5 ~ exquisite! No sound proof at all. 2:3am cellphone rings for many times from one of the other guest staying and feels like he was speaking right in your room. I didn't get good sleep this night because of that and tired all day today.
