• Jane (10/5): The perfect place to stay - This hotel is perfect. Lovely big rooms with balconies...seats and sun loungers for each balcony. A gorgeous pool area...more sun loungers. But..best of all...the food and wine. A home cooked breakfast...always different each day..superb. Snacks and light bites through the day and as the sun sets over the pool...you sit in or out and enjoy a gourmet dinner worth a Michelin star if not two. The staff are so friendly and happy which makes the guests relax. I didnt want to leave here.
• louise (10/5): - amazing hotel, views of the whole bay and area for miles, sunsets over the mountains. the pool and area are immaculate as was our room with a large terrace, quality bedding. Family run and they really go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay and get the most out of the area. i walked into and around Affisos a few times as i enjoy walking but it is steep so taking the car was also an easy option. The area of Pelion is beautiful and this was a fantastic luxury friendly hotel to use as our base.

Gemeinsam mit Freunden reisten wir als zwei Paare an, um ortsansässige Freunde zu treffen – auf der Suche nach Erholung, Genuss und einem stilvollen Rückzugsort. Was wir fanden, übertraf alle Erwartungen. Lage & Ausblick: Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt: Das Hotel liegt ruhig und erhöht über dem Pagasitischen Golf – umgeben von Olivenbäumen und mediterraner Natur. Der Blick von der Terrasse und dem Poolbereich auf das Meer ist schlicht atemberaubend – besonders bei Sonnenuntergang ein echtes Erlebnis, das wir jeden Abend gemeinsam genossen haben. Zimmer & Ausstattung: Die Zimmer sind großzügig, stilvoll eingerichtet und bieten absolute Privatsphäre. Jedes Paar hatte seine eigene kleine Oase mit eigener Terrasse und fantastischem Meerblick. Die Einrichtung verbindet griechischen Charme mit hochwertigem Komfort – sehr bequeme Betten, modernes Bad und liebevolle Details.! Service & Gastfreundschaft: Die Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Teams haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Die Gastgeber Sotiria und Constantino begegneten uns mit ehrlicher Gastfreundschaft, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Fragen zu Ausflügen oder Restaurants in der Umgebung wurden nicht nur beantwortet – es wurden maßgeschneiderte Empfehlungen ausgesprochen, die unseren Urlaub bereichert haben. Man spürt: Hier arbeitet man mit echter Leidenschaft.
• Hunter (10/5): - This was the most exquisite stay. The view is unbelievable, the pool is stunning, the vibe is peaceful and calm. Spotless property with only 10 rooms a short drive away from a wonderfully authentic beach town.
• Frances (8/5): - The rooms were spacious , clean and private. The breakfast was very generous. I think we are simple eaters because we do not eat pastry or cakes for breakfast, so could not really do it justice. We liked the fruit and yogurt. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We are elderly, so for us music around the pool was not good. The planting was nice , but more trees were needed for shade, for us and especially for the cars! Otherwise all was perfect.

• HERVE (10/5): Excellent séjour ! - Excellent séjour dans un hotel exceptionnel. Le site est magique et la vue superbe sur la mer. Les chambres sont très grandes et confortables.Les petits déjeuners sont de qualité avec des produits faits maison. Le soir,pour les diners, nous avions un service agréable de grande qualité.
• Maria Faidra (10/5): Excellent stay - The place and all the people there were fantastic! Tranquil and welcoming. We loved our stay there and we will surely come back. The rooms are spacious and inviting. The bed was coco mat and every room has a balcony with a magical view. The breakfast offer was delicious with homemade Greek savory pastries with a twist. The coffee was excellent too! Loved the extra effort in creating something authentic based on handpicked Greek products. Dinner at the hotel was also yummy. Important note during these corona times: management took their responsibility really seriously and made necessary adjustments to help all guests feel safe and comfortable.

For breakfast & dinners deserves Michelin Star. Excellent service, and cool infinity pool. The owner of the facility is a lovely person who takes care for his guests like they were family members

I was genuinely astonished - The hotel is beautiful, the view is nice, the room was clean and comfortable, but what really blew my mind was the outstanding service. Starting with the welcoming and efficient check in, through the friendly and courteous room service, the delicious and reasonably priced restaurant and the caring check out. We were checking out at 7 am, so the hotel staff packed some sandwiches and fruit for us, and made us some coffee for the road. Will definitely come again.

The hotel and the site design was optimal to enjoy the greatest sunset from all areas, the rooms, the pool and the restaurant. Everything was clean, the food was excellent and the service was great. This hotel is well located is the Pelion region.

The amenities and attentive staff gives you the feeling you are in a private resort. The owner and staff make an excellent home made breakfast, nothing is too much.

• Gilles (10/5): Petit paradis qu'il faut garder secret ... - Un excellent service. Hôtes chaleureux, membres du personnel aimables et dévoués. Que dire du petit déjeuner avec ses 15 plats faits maison qui se renouvellent chaque jour. Un paysage idyllique à partir de la piscine avec vue sur la mer et les montagnes et tout ceci dans un endroit paisible ... il n'y a pas plus de 10 chambres des plus confortables. Et que dire des soupers sur le bord de la piscine avec un service des plus attentionnés au coucher du soleil. On nous a offert à notre arrivée un petit cocktail et au souper une liqueur bénie des dieux à base de résine de "mastic". La tranquillité assurée. Mérite un 5* sinon plus. On y retourne l'an prochain. Nous avons tellement aimé notre séjour que l'on a décidé de rester 2 jours de plus.
• Sue (10/5): Best hotel of our stay in Greece - This is a great hotel. It is beautifully designed; rooms are spacious with great views. The best breakfast we have had in Greece - lots of local produce and we ate in the evening in the restaurant and the food was great. I even had lobster, specially ordered for me! The pool is excellent too. Staff pleasant and helpful. We also had a kind parting gift.

We loved the breakfasts - not at all your standard fare but interesting and varied dishes for breakfast with a good vegetarian selection. The pool looked fabulous but we didn't use it because of the weather. Would recommend Karavia to anyone visiting the beautiful Pelion region of Greece.

Wunderschöne Berg - und Insellandschaften im Westen, ursprüngliche Nadelholz - und Kastanienwälder im Osten.Ideal für Leute, die sich erholen wollen und Ruhe suchen.
• Alain & Gen (10/5): Hotel 6 étoiles au Mont Pélion sud - Nous avons trouvé le Karavia Lux Inn à la dernière minute sur Expedia, ayant dû changer nos plans de voyage vers Skiathos en raison d'une grève des ferries. QUELLE BELLE DÉCOUVERTE!!! Un hôtel avec une cote voyageur de 4.9/5, c'est rare, alors on reste sceptique, surtout à un prix aussi bas. Et bien, la cote du Karavia n'est pas sur-faite: le propriétaire Tassos (toujours premier arrivé, dernier parti) vit de la prémisse que tous ses visiteurs ne sont pas des clients, mais des invités qui doivent être reçus comme on reçoit des invités chez soi. Et il s'assure que toute son équipe soit aussi dévouée à cette mission que lui. De l'accueil au service au resto-bar, Tassos et son équipe multiplient les efforts pour que chaque visiteur se sente comme un invité de marque. L'hôtel construit en 2012 de matériaux nobles (bois, pierre, céramiques, etc) par des ouvriers de grand talent respire la grande classe: les chambres spacieuses finement décorées au goût du jour, toutes avec vue imprenable sur la baie en contrebas laissent bouche bée. Tassos a mis son coeur et son âme dans ce projet et ça paraît: rien n'a été laissé au hasard, tous les détails collent au projet d'ensemble. Une table fort descente pour des prix franchement honnêtes, une cuisine faite sur place à partir des ingrédients locaux (Tassos évoque même ne pas avoir ENCORE ses propres ruches pour son miel) dans laquelle le proprio s'investit aussi personnellement (je l'ai dit, souci du détail), le Karavia a vraiment tout!
• Birgit (8/5): Idyllisches Hotel mit einem traumhaften Ambiente - Haben uns in dem kleinen, bungalowartigen Hotel rundum wohlgefühlt; liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf Affisos und das Meer; gastfreundliche Familie und zuvorkommendes Personal; vielseitiges und traditionelles Frühstück, sowie sehr gutes Restaurant dabei; Schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick und super Balkon sowie einer Terrasse und kleiner Küchenzeile, lediglich das Bad nicht allzu groß;

• Lukas (10/5): Entspannung pur - Eines der schönsten Hotels in dem wir je waren! Ein Genuss fürs Auge, die Mauern und Bodenbeläge aus Natursteinen mit kleinen Verzierungen einfach genial erbaut. Sehr nette, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Betreiber der Anlage. Das Essen im Restaurant ein Schmaus! Sehr grosszügige Zimmer und Terrasse. Alles wunderschön eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Sicht über den Pool hinaus direkt auf das Meer hinunter, ein Traum. Sonnenuntergänge schon fast kitschig schön. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten gleich vor der Tür. Tipp, den Sonnenuntergang im Whirlpool (kleinen Aufpreis) geniessen!!
• Not Provided (10/5): etablissement de qualité - Nous avons passé quatre jours dans cet hôtel, ou les prestations sont d'un vrai 4 étoiles (architecture, cadre, services, petit déjeuneur, cuisine/restaurent, chambres,....). Pas loin de la mer et des villages à visiter dans un environnement calme et beau.
• Klaus (10/5): Romantisches Hotel für einen Urteil zu zweit - Wir waren eine Woche, das Wetter spielte mit, die Sonnenuntergänge, die man sowohl von der gemeinsamen Terrasse als auch vom eigenen Balkon genießen kann, bleiben noch jahrelang in Erinnerung. Kulinarisch ebenfalls nichts auszusetzen, hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Schöne Architektur, auch ein kritisches Auge wird nicht beleidigt.

• Kasper (10/5): We called it paradise everyday! - After reading all the reviews we imagined it was a good choice to stay at the Karavia Lux Inn. Any 5 star rating is usually a good guess. But this was above all our expectations. The Karavia should really get a 6th star! We have stayed in hotels all over the world, but this little gem has beaten them all. We came to relax, enjoy the views, the quiet atmosphere and we were not disappointed. Considering we never left the hotel during our 5 day stay... The staff is so polite, like family. The food was amazing, the chefs make everything fresh daily and we even got a special diner on our last night off the menu... I needed some medication from the pharmacy and we didn't have transportation so they called the pharmacy from the reception and they brought it to the hotel! The service is amazing! We will absolutely come again! Thank you Karavia for giving us the best holiday we have had in a long time!

• Stanislav (10/5): Top Hotel - Tolle Lage (man braucht unbedingt ein Auto). Der Besitzer extrem freundlich, ein Hobbykoch - verwöhnt die Gäste mit einem außergewöhnlichen Frühstück und ev. auch Abendessen . Staff sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Aufenthalt - ein Erlebniss!!
• ANDREAS (10/5): Excellent stay - We stayed at the hotel for the weekend. The room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty with a big variety of local products to choose. The hotel restaurant was very good and you could be room serviced for a romantic dinner in your room. You will ,however, need a car for your everyday transportation, but it is somehting that you should have anyways, for your daily excursions in Pelion
• Pauline (10/5): Fantastic - We stayed a week looking for Afissos people who helped my New Zealand father during WWII. The people at Karavia went out of their way to help us. We had a wonderful stay, all the people at Karavia were great, the food was incredible, we loved our week at Karavia.
• Johnny (10/5): Great experience in all aspects - Beautiful view of the sea just beneath the green mountain. The hotel is located in the nature but close to many great villages and to the beaches (exactly what to look for while traveling in Pelion). The room was very convenient as well as the bed and the bathroom. The hotel itself is also looking very impressive.. Small but with nice pool with perfect view. But the best part is the staff. Olga from the front desk always helped us to make the best from each day according to the current weather, with a lot of enthusiasm for Pelion area. In addition, the breakfast is very reach and tasteful. The down side is the dinners where the food is not in high level.
