• Soffi Chanchira Larsen (1/5): Wont refund after rescheduling booking and had acceptance - The hotel had a double booking from me. We booked 3 rooms in Clear House Phuket but wanted to book at Clear House Resort with a pool. CH Phuket showet it has a pool on Google. It has not. They agreed to return the payment but still more than a week after I still haven't received the refund even though we've called them and they promised to confirm to Booking.com. We paid 37000tbh for 4 room at the CH Resort plus more than 22000bth for the first booking they wont refund. Now I have to file complaint about fraud to my bank but that doesn't guarantee a refund. Be careful paying for your bookings in advance at this place. I wouldn't recommend it.

• Hanspeter (8/5): Für Kurzaufentalt gut geeignet - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer liegen in einer Seitenstrasse und sind deshalb einigermassen ruhig. Der Badestrand ist in ca. 8 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Strände ausserhalb der Badezonen werden nicht gereinigt. Entsprechend viel Abfall lagert im Sand.
• Margaux (9/5): Très bon séjour - La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. L’emplacement est super et le personnel est très réactif et serviable. En dehors de quelques fourmis dans la salle de bain, nous n’avons pas eu d’insectes dans la chambre car nous avons suivi les consignes de la guesthouse à savoir bien fermer les portes. Des petits insectes en Asie c’est plutôt courant. La salle de bain mérite un petit rafraîchissement, notre chasse d’eau fonctionnait mal. Et la literie n’est pas à notre goût, un peu dure mais j’ai l’impression que c’est le cas dans beaucoup d’hôtel .

• Lauren (9/5): - The location of Clear Sands was amazing, it was everything I wanted. It is really close to the beach, a three/four minute walk. Restaurants are on your doorstep, as our trinket shops and massage parlours. I had the best massage of my 5 day stay at Anara massage, which is just opposite Clear House with a Lady called Nana. Wish I had gone there sooner! I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe at Clear House. The rooms are all on one level and you have a little terrace which was lovely when you just want to take some time out of the sun. The room I had was spacious, the bathroom was also big. The rooms werer cleaned everyday and the tea and coffee and water were refilled which was a lovely touch. I really enjoyed my stay, I just wish it had been for longer!

• Helen (9/5): Small guest house with large clean room centrally located and near beach. - Small guest house with about 5/6 rooms. Large clean room with kettle and fridge with a bottle of water each and TV and WiFi. There was a small area outside the room with a clothes airer and also two chairs and a table to sit. Large shower room with separate toilet room. The owners lent us beach towels for the beach. Clear house was easy to find and is near the beach. Although it is located in a busy location we slept very well and was not disturbed. No air conditioning in large bathroom / toilet area. We kept door from bedroom closed as was advised by guest house.

Massage, bars, 7-11, stalls, Everything you need close by! Sorted out laundry for me. Tucked away so was nice and quiet when sleeping!

Hihi on pourrait se doucher à 10 c'est excellent, la petite étagère pour poser les produits dans la douche est très appréciable ! Il y a des rangements, le lit est confortable et grand ! Très agréable. La petite terrasse devant est chouette, il y a de quoi faire sécher nos serviettes ou vêtements. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils, si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit ils sont là, très réactifs :) La chambre est faite tous les jours. Location de scooter sur place et également taxi si besoin ! Super bien situé sur Kamala Beach, plein de petits restos, de boutiques, de salons de massage, pharmacie etc de quoi se faire plaisir, l'accès à la plage est rapide. Un 7/11 pas loin (bondé mais pas loin) c'est vraiment pratique ! Vous avez accès à pas mal d'activités sur la plage, cheval, jet ski, bouée ascensionnelle etc... location de transat sur la plage. Franchement rien, je dirai juste qu'il manque un grand miroir dans la chambre sinon tout est ok, c'était très calme et agréable.

Vesipullot tuotiin huoneen jääkaappiin aina siivouksen yhteydessä. Ei luksushotellihuone, mutta hinta-laatusuhde todella hyvä! Työntekijät eivät puhuneet paljoakaan englantia. Ymmärrys kuitenkin aina saavutettiin yksinkertaisen englannin, elekielen ja tarvittaessa kääntäjän avulla.

• Embe83 (9/5): - Om man går utanför boendet så är det mycket liv och rörelse, detta var inget som hördes inne i rummet vilket var skönt. Ligger nära till stranden om man vill till Kamala, annars inte långt till närmaste taxi. Rummet vi hade rymligt och fräscht. Bra med städ varje dag. Vi bad om en extrasäng vilket löstes på ett bra sätt. Fanns det mesta man kunde önska sig. Vi var väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse med två vuxna och två barn, 8 och 10 år. Sköna sängar också! Saknade kanske en liten uppsättning med ett par skålar till att använda om man gör egen frukost. Men detta kanske går att ordna efter efterfrågan.

Location was perfect, just a stone throw from the beach. It was hard at first to see where to check in. But eventually I realised I can knock on the door opposite.

• Jennifer (7/5): Solide Unterkunft - Die Lage war super, alles war fußläufig zu erreichen und das Meer war direkt auf der Rückseite der Unterkunft. Der Schlafraum ist groß, der Kühlschrank hat gut funktioniert und das W-lan war stabil. Es gab täglich eine Reinigungskraft und die Handtücher waren immer flauschig. Das Bett war leider wirklich steinhart und die Kissen zu hoch, der Nacken und Rücken schmerzte am Morgen sehr. Ich war froh, dass ich mir exakt wegen demselben Problem ein kleines Kissen kaufte. Das Bad ist sehr feucht und die Moskitos kommen überall rein, weil der Raum nicht luftdicht schloss. Einen Abend und Nacht hatten wir im Bad/Toilette leider keinen Tropfen Wasser, da wir zwei Zimmer hatten, konnten wir uns da aber abhelfen. Leider fehlte auch ein Handtuch für die Hände.

• Dirk (7/5): Klare Empfehlung - Unser Anspruch, sauberes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und fließend Warmwasser wurde erfüllt. Zimmer und Bad sehr geräumig. Lag nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße, sondern in der 2. Reihe, daher sehr ruhig. An der Hauptstraße gab es alles was man so braucht Restaurants, Cafés, Lebensmittelladen, Waschautomaten, Geldautomat und Rollerverleih. Zum Strand ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Gab es nicht.

There are two Clearhouse Hotels, same owner apparently. Booked Phi Phi ferry pickup from Guesthouse but driver went to Resort instead. Sorted in the end but confusing for everyone. Photos and description on Booking.com an amalgam of the two separate places. No pool at my place.

Great linens and very quiet despite being on main street through Kamala. This can’t be helped. There isn’t anywhere for a taxi to park and it is a bit tricky to find.

The only thing for myself and in my room was the curtains needed an upgrade and made the room smell musty, also would be good if you could use the curtain settings for privacy however these need an upgrade as well.

The location is excellent — close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but still peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy Phuket. I would definitely come back.

• Val (8/5): Great vallue for money in a top location. - Great value for money. The room was massive compared to most hotel rooms. The Suite had a large main room with bed and roll-a-way bed, good sized table with chairs. A similar sized main bedroom with big double bed and nice sized lounge, plenty of room. Off this was a massive shower room and smaller bathroom with toilet. The location was great, it is on but hidden just off the main road and a short walk around the corner onto the beach. Would easily stay here again. We seemed to be the only ones there at this particular time (Tuesday to Friday in July), which was interesting, because it is such a great little spot, perhaps overlooked a bit. The staff are friendly and helpful (though this is my experience throughout our many stays in Phuket), so special mention only that it is a boutique hotel and so run by a live in family. Was very nice and friendly. I missed having access to a pool, but then it is only a small hotel and couldn't fit one anywhere. The only other issue is that it seems to be a sister to a larger Clear House Hotel in Kamala Beach. So when coming here make sure you have a picture of where this one is on a map of Kamala (for your driver), as the other one is more commonly known and a little further away. In our opinion, even though it is larger, has a pool and looks a little nicer, the smaller boutique one we stayed at is a better pick, especially location wise.

It's also nice that you can rent a scooter from them for the day ( most of the agencies in the area want a 5 day minimum). Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!
