• Eliseo (10/5): Went and got engaged - It was a birthday trip to celebrate my girlfriend (now my fiancée) who lives nearby. Everything was great from the staff to the nice comfortable bed. The room was clean and the housekeeping always had fresh towels for us when we needed them. There's everything you need close by including a dollar general right next door. I definitely recommend Days Inn Belmont!

• Jenifer (2/5): The half hour we were at the property, we noticed strong cigarette/marijuana ash odors. - N/A We did not stay. We found the room on Booking.com and booked it on the app; however, when we showed up to check in the desk clerk told us she was very sorry but she did not have any rooms available. When we were waiting outside by the entrance the smell of cigarette and/or marijuana ashes was super strong. Had she come back and said there was a room available after all, we would not have stayed just due to the smell and the sense of incompetent staffing. She said she would cancel the reservation for us as it was her fault that the room showed up online as available. We tried contacting Booking.com but every effort was met with instructions to contact the hotel. We are disputing the credit card charge on our bill as the charge has not yet been removed after four days since the mistake.

But, when we arrived, my expectations were exceeded by a 1000%. The hotel is 13 years old, but still looks new, rooms were large and cleaninhave stayed in many hotels over 20 years, this was the best experience I have had.

• ReneeC697 (10/5): Wonderful Grassroots Hospitality - This place knocked my socks off! Clean, yes! Sparkling as a matter of fact! The shower was a dream. The room was spacious. The pillows were very generous. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and sausage along with a selection of cereals and more. To top it all off the staff spoke MY kind of Midwestern English! Okay, there was one gal who had a bit of southern drawl, but that scratched my transplanted Mid-Missouri itching ears too. I want to go back.
