- Joey (8/5): Pretty good overall - Pretty good hotel. Clean, but a bit run down. Breakfast was good. A bit far from the sights of the town, if you're visiting as a tourist.

- Angela (10/5): Disappointed - Check-in was amazing, staff upon check-in was accommodating and friendly. The hotel overall was clean and quiet. When booking the stay special accommodation was requested for housekeeping daily during our stay. We had been working all day in humid 102 degree weather and were excruciatingly tired after our first night expecting to come back to a cleaned room and the bed was not made nothing had been done. We did not complain as it was too late to do anything about something like that when its almost time for bed. It was truly disappointing. Breakfast was good. On our second night I stopped by the front desk and I asked about late check-out and a different staff member appeared annoyed and was snippy with reply. When you pay over $400 for 2 nights you expect better.

Booking didn't even respond to my second email lol. Wasn't able to add my Bonvoy account at hotel. Was a headache I'll avoid both in future, I should have asked for a receipt as I was leaving.

- Mario (6/5): - This was the second time staying at this location. First time it was a 5/5. This time around the furniture looked a little runned down but nothing to worry about. The biggest disappointment was looking forward to getting some rest and sleep after a long drive, only to find out the hotel was doing some renovations and the noise from the machinery kept waking me up. I’m not sure if I’ll be staying here in the future.

Parking lot was full of construction equipment which made it challenging to find a parking space. The breakfast was pretty sparse. THat's pretty much it.

- Kathleen (8/5): Very good - Location was great, close to alot of restaurants. Plumbing in the bathtub could use some maintainence. Breakfast selections could be expanded, maybe to includie some fruit like apples and bananas, etc.

- Lisa (2/5): Foul smelling room - We had two rooms for the night instead of one because of a mistake had been made by the hotel. When we got into one of the rooms it smelled disgusting and realized it was coming from the garbage disposal. The whole room had a foul smell all the way from the entryway into the bathroom. We called the front desk to see what they could do and at first it didn't seem like they really want to help, but after speaking with them more they were convinced to go out and get us some disposal cleaners. It was us and not an employee who tried to use the cleaner on the disposal only to find out it wasn't working. The disposals in all the hotel rooms should be checked on a regular basis to make sure that they are all in working condition. One of the rooms we didn't end up having to pay for because of all the issues which was appreciated, however the stay was very disappointing and will never stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away! - I can’t describe how disappointed I was with this stay. I had high expectations because of high ratings, and this was Marriott! The instant I walked into the hotel I regretted my decision. It was filthy and the lobby was small. There was some bad smell, and the floor was sticky. I would never stay here anymore. Do not be fooled by its fake high ratings!

- Nathaniel (8/5): Okay - Staff was great. Can tell there was some water damage on the ceilings and probably also the walls as there were a lot of patchy paint jobs. Had to go down to the front desk for things that were “supposed to be” in the room, like hand towels in the bathroom, etc. While having breakfast on our last day, one of the staff was pretty upset about 2 kids getting stuck in the elevator and they pushed the emergency button, lots of cursing occurred with other families around. If I return it’s due to price and convenience.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We arrived at our hotel, not knowing if we were staying one day or 4. The Mariott was so accommodating and willing to work with us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our favorite part was the gathering place in which we were able to watch the Big 12 tournament. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We would certainly stay here again!

- Jo (10/5): - The Front Desk Staff were the BEST!!! As a family we were all from out of town there for a funeral, not the best of occasions any time of year let alone during the Holidays. We were without a place to "hang" for an hour prior to the service and the front desk staff graciously allowed our group to hang out in the lobby and visit during out wait. We had already checked out of our rooms that morning so there certainly wasn't any obligation on the Hotel's part to allow us in. True Hospitality by definition. I hope management recognizes the gems they have employed.

- Mia (9/5): Lived upto the quality I have come to expect when staying at Marriott. - The breakfast selection was good and plentiful. The coffee was warm and the juice cold. I'm not sure what you can do about it, but pets in the dining area. Because the space is not large and I have a serious pet allergy. But I just found some place else to sit.

- Hayley (6/5): - We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 3 days. Did not have enough linen for the 5 people sharing the room. Needed to get bedding for the pull out sofa and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper between the two bathrooms. Also intended on using the kitchen and did but had to ask for a baking cheer and more than 2 spoons. We did not get housekeeping at all during our stay, no extra garbage bags so that we could clean up after ourselves seeing that we where using the kitchen as a kitchen. The hotel it’s self is nice but service was not so great. We where given a feeling of being annoying when we kept running down to the desk asking for the basics that should have been in our room for us already.
- Cheryl (4/5): Not up to par for a Marriott hotel. - We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. No pots or pans, no glasses, no cooking utensils. The carpet was not vacuumed or clean. Discovered ants in the kitchen. The staff was friendly and got us these items after walking back to the front desk as phones did not work in rooms. For the money we paid, it was a bad experience for a Marriott chain. I would not come back. Here's hoping for a better breakfast experience in the morning.

- Fred (8/5): Dodge City Anniversary trip - It was friendly, comfortable and convenient. The room was very nice. The bathtub needed a new fixture for hot and cold water, it was broke, but the other bathroom was fine. Would stay here again!

- Rebecca (8/5): Quick trip - It worked for a quick overnight trip. It could use some upkeep, room we were in had a broken cabinet door. Bed was very comfy and slept great.

- Harry (10/5): Marriott Quality in Dodge City - Hotel was clean and modern. Room layout was very efficient. We had a king room with a sofa. The kitchen had a refrigerator, dishwasher and stovetop. Would be great for an extended stay. Coffee was available all day in the lobby. Breakfast started at 630AM and was busy at that hour. Hotel is on restaurant row. Boot Hill Museum is about a mile to the east. We would definitely stay here again.

- Andres (10/5): - To start with, I wish I needed extra nights here! The place was great and had all the amenities of an apartment, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! For a suite style accommodation, it would be nice if the front desk sold beers, but that is a minor miss. The place was well located on a main road at the end of town, it was super clean and comfortable, and I’ve already mentioned the great staff! I wil most definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dodge City!
- Randy (4/5): - For this being a Marriott property I was disappointed at the he lack of cleanliness and we’re definitely lots of signs of lack of building maintenance. I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriot properties and this one was in need of someone to assess the property.
