• tmarcone (10/5): Good hotel - Convenient off of 290. I usually stay at the Hilton GI but it's gone downhill a bit. Clean hotel, plenty of parking and a friendly staff. All you can ask for.

It had a strong nasty smell all through the hallways and elevators u have to hold ur nose they are re painting the outside so all the windows are covers u can even look out side the window, the room had a small tv and the internet buffers every two mins while watching a movie the beds are very hard

• D3841KMkyles (2/5): This location cannot be trusted with your credit card information! - I frequently use this location for employees who travel to Houston for business. To do that, I'm required to have a credit card authorization on file. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, there was an unauthorized charge for several hundred dollars. I contacted the hotel and spent several days trying to resolve the issues. I was continuously told that the manager would reach out to me but I never received any communication. Every time I would call or email, I was told that I'd have to call back later. One lady finally told me that I should just dispute the charges and let the credit card company handle it. All they had to do was look up the transactions from that day, find the charge amount, and see who charged it. It's been a month and still no resolution. A business that requires a CC to be on file should be trusted to do the right thing. This location has shown that they cannot be trusted.

This is a pleasant trip staying in Courtyard as I met Jennifer V. at front desk. I lost my briefcase in the airport taxi when I check in Courtyard by Marriot NW /290 Corridor. It was not Uber, only a credit card receipt with drive's name, so I could not call back to driver. I told my trouble to Jennifer V. and Jennifer tried every way to contact the driver. After 30 minutes try, I gave up and went to dinner. However before I finished dinner, I received call from Jennifer V. I can not believe she kept on try different ways including video and securities and finally found the drive and called him - even I gave up! This is unbelievable! Jennifer is smart, warm-hearted, and very kind to customers. I would like to write this letter to thank Jennifer V. for her kind help and appreciate her hospitality. • X5841ELthomasb (10/5): 10/10 Maintenance Staff - My Air conditioner suffered a failure but they had me in a new room within an hour, the maintenance guy was extremely kind and helped my with my luggage and over all the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are well stocked and if you spring for the upgraded internet plan then you’ll never suffer a slow down if you work from a laptop.
• chelseafF6816DM (10/5): Very accommodating - The window in my room wouldn’t close and the front desk lady was very accommodating to switch me to a new room. The beds in the new room weren’t made and she quickly ran up to make them and did so in great spirits. Very friendly and awesome service!!

Tried to get corporate Marriott and others to assist and the Assistant General Manager/MOD hung up the phone. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
• Ronald (8/5): - The Management staff was excellent. The hotel just needed to updated badly. Furniture wasn't in best shape, some had refrigerator, some didn't. No breakfast bar as before and quality wasn't what we expected. But overall the room was comfortable I was in for a handicapped rm, the shower for lower portion needed to be adjusted so water would go everywhere. But I did enjoy my stay., and understand they'll be renovating this particular place. Overall all good stay.

One we were able to cancel with the bank as it was still pending and the second one we waited forever to get it returned. Worst stay ever as the staff was rude when we would contact them to inquire about the issue.

• Voyager641491 (2/5): A very UNcomfortable stay - I stayed at this hotel because of the positive reviews I had seen. We went to Houston as a family for a baseball tournament. First thing to point out is the positive reviews are not real or are old. This hotel is rundown and dirty. A couple of families stayed here for baseball as well and they all reported they had the same issues as we did. Smelly rooms of mold and cigarettes. Stains all over the carpet. Sticky and moist carpet as well. The upholstered seat had so many stains, we were so grossed out to even sit in it. The walls had stains all over. Some lights were not working. Doors and door trim was filthy, The noise from the highway was very loud. Parking area was sketchy. The toilet wouldn't flush. I will honestly say, I was afraid to sleep on the beds. We ended up staying the night and I so regret it. I now worry if there were possibly bed bugs that I may have brought home. I definitely do not recommend this hotel for anyone, especially families. This is the worst Courtyard I have stayed in. Management needs to do better!! It is not okay to make people feel this uncomfortable in a hotel. I post this review to avoid other families having this experience.

Enjoyed the pool and outdoor fireplace area was nice to relax and dry off at bit after pool. Thanks to Angel who was able to accommodate my request. Bed was also pretty comfy! Pool was good but could use a bit of attention.

Assigned room 309 Extremely STRONG mildew SMELL hit me in my face as soon as I opened the door. Has coworker there who was a witness. Clerk on shift CHANGED ME TO room 235…mildew smell not as strong upon initial entry. but unable to sleep due to smell as it was just lingering. Had clerk on shift at the time Brittany accompany me to my room to confirm the smell she agreed it was a very strong mildew order… Even over all the Lysol sprayed and this was around 12am. She moved me to rm 233 (Queen double) until king was available She said she made a note for next shift! Aug 28th I was moved up 230 which was far better, HOWEVER the mold and mildew sent was still faintly there. I was too tired and exhausted with the whole thing. The clerk gave me Lysol and air freshener which was thoughtful and I don’t blame her I blame management/Gm/owner!!!!!! No one should be in the hotel! The Starbucks/ and the bar was always closed. Just horrible! I am asking how do the plan to compensate! We couldn’t book elsewhere as it was too late. Several company employees were staying here and they were my transportation. I got sick from the whole ordeal! Has to call Teladoc for my migraine and other symptoms. This was caused my the mold/mildew! And I was unable to sleep. I have been to the dr twice since being back home. Never again. I deserve enough points to have a 2 night stay at a Marriot of my choosing.

• Perla (8/5): I don’t know if I would come back. - The staff is very nice and helpful! Their facility is clean! What I didn’t like was my vehicle getting broken in to. That is not the hotels fault, but it did kind of ruin my experience.

The internet was out for a little less than half of my stay, and i was unable to work. The temperature of the water in my shower was lukewarm. Really disappointing.. I love Marriott, but i don’t recommend this location until they improve things.

Tried to call the hotel both the 800 and local number to make sure they had power and confirm our reservation. No answer to either number after several calls and several minutes on hold. We arrived at the hotel. They said they were sold out and could not honor our reservation. We asked for help with refunding. Said we would have to deal with it through third party. Just frustrated as to why someone could not have contacted us to let us know we did not have a room. We had to drive and hour and a half late at night to finally find a place to stay
• Tuan (6/5): 40/100 - Staffs were nice and friendly. Too much noise at midnight and early morning. The is a bump at the entrance, would definitely damage any sedan or cars without attention.
