Unfortunately there was very little choice on the menu for Celiacs! And we had to eat out a few times! Breakfast consisted of gluten free bread! No gluten free cereals! In conclusion we won't be staying again!

- Matthew (9/5): A great hotel in a prime location for exploring the city. - Great location in St Andrew Square near the tram stop so easy access from the airport. Room and hotel very clean and stylish with good breakfast options. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the whole hotel and a nice relaxed Boutique feel about it. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

In the square where the hotel is located you can find the Paddington Bear statue 😍. The atmosphere is friendly. Breakfast was good. I loved the banana cake. Rooms are well-maintained, clean and quite quiet. The staff pays attention to the safety of their guests for the night (the hotel’s entrance door is locked and it can be unlocked with room card). I recommend it 🤩.
- AaronMandel (8/5): Excellent accommodation in New Town - This is a lovely hotel in a convenient location for those traveling by trsin or looking to explore New Town. We stayed in room 602. This is a corner room with a balcony. It was a beautiful room. The balcony had views of the firth and Arthurs Seat. The room was clean, quiet and cheerful with a lot of room for European city hotels. In the late spring/ summer, that balcony would be amazing. Its location on David Street across from the square places it just a few blocks from Waverley train station. There are also nearby tram and bus stations so getting around town is easy. Breakfast was crowded but it was kept well stocked and there was never trouble finding a table. There were a lot of choices avaliable and the food was good. Staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely return.

The area was quiet and relaxing, and the room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception was open 24 hours a day, which was very convenient. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight, and they kindly offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us.

The hotel was clean and stylish, and a distant view of the Firth of Forth was visible from my window. Buffet breakfast food was good quality and staff were all friendly and helpful. There was nothing I disliked.

It’s not he biggest or most glamorous - but the location is perfect on St Andrews Square both for the town centre and for getting buses or trains either to Airport or over to Leith. The hotel has a very friendly and welcoming feel and the check in an out process is always lovely and quick. The rooms seem very modern and above everything by else feel very clean, thanks for another great stay!
