• Gabriela (10/5): Special place for us. ✨ - We really enjoyed staying at Marriott. We celebrated NYE in Shanghai so we wanted to stay at special place and it really felt like it there. Amazing breakfast! The best we have had in our lives tbh. 😅 They charged us two times but send the money as soon as we let them now it happened. So everything good afterwards.

• SANG CHUL (6/5): 애매한 스테이 - 일부 직원들은 친절하나 프론트 직원 중 일부는 hospitality attitude 가 전혀 없음. 양쪽 옆 방에서 발구르는 소리 복도에서 소리지르는거 다 방안으로 들어오고 밤늦게..첫날은 잠 못자고 방 바꿔달라고해서 둘쨋날은 괜찮았음. 일부 프론트 직원은 전혀 불편함을 경험한데 대해서 전혀 상관도 않함. 지하철 역이 멀어 한 여름에 지하철로 다닐려면 매우 더움.

It is the across the road from yeh lovely Daning park which also has water fountain displays with music which we were able to watch from my room. Breakfast was the best I have ever had! A huge range of Asian options as well as western options and the best pancakes ( better than my own). It is a bit away from the main part of town but easy enough to get DiDi into the main part for at the most $10 Aus dollars. Not a lot. One small thing more hooks in the bathroom and maybe another chair for the table. So when you are dining in your room there are 2 chairs.

Front desk ladies and men were very nice and they’re there to assist you especially with language barrier. Food has a lot of choices and we even got complementary by bumping our room to suite!!! Recommend this hotel when you bring your family! We will definitely come back here again!

The facility is excellent, but food service for both breakfast and lunch buffet is declining in quality, not fitting for a 5-star hotel, and not nearly as good as the other Marriott we stayed previously.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant - It was a pleasant stay. We arrived around 11pm and we wanted to eat but restaurants in the hotel were closed. We ordered room service but it took an hour to bring to our room though we were told that it'll take 20mins only. But overall stay was good.

• 5_0f_us (8/5): Good - Happy with the stay here. The rooms were good. The gym was also good, although I did not use the pool. Breakfast was fine. Staff write helpful when asked for support. Buffet dinner was good all round. I don’t have much more to say about it really.
• drecuk (2/5): Your staff needs further training - Worst service ever. I was here on a business trip as a foreign traveller. As Marriott, you failed terribly in terms of how you’ve trained your staff in providing a world class service tied to your brand. Friendly counter service? No, upon checking in there is a pompous look with your desk staff, a bunch of toothbrushes and toiletries are slammed on the table, well you should have provided a little bag. Excuse me Marriott? Furthermore, we have 5 rooms booked by different colleagues, but your staff gives double standard extension of rooms to 2pm. I don’t believe all rooms are booked to the full, it all depends on your nationality actually. Worst, there is also a toilet stench on the corridor, and the drainage is blocked in the wash.

• TedHKPCCW (10/5): Excellent Customer Experience - The hotel is located strategically with close proximity to major destinations. There is a big park which is within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is spacious either in its common facilities or in the room. Its staff are well trained and provided superior customer service. The spread and quality of its buffet breakfast is impressive. Its Executive Lounge is well designed though its seating capacity is not high. The staff namely Vicky at the Executive Lounge is super-professional with a great heart to serve, she deserves the respect and credit. The only complaint during my stay was that some of the staff at the breakfast restaurant hardly smile particularly the male employees, which discounted the customer experience rating.

The staff in the check in/ out counter may need to improve since it wasted me lots of time to get the room and also get the receipt. The view from the room is nice and can feel spring is coming. Overall staying experience is great.

During my stay, I utilized the in-room safe to secure four envelopes of cash. Upon check-out, I discovered that each envelope was missing one bill, resulting in a total loss of $230 USD. Despite me bringing this matter to the attention of the hotel staff, my attempts to resolve the issue were met with unhelpful responses. The hotel provided me with data records of the safe opening history in the room, but the records they provided showed that the safe had only been opened AFTER I had already checked out of the hotel, which was irrelevant information. The records did not show my own usage of the safe during my stay. The hotel did not provide any further explanation for this and closed the investigation. This left me questioning the validity and accuracy of the document they provided, as well as Marriott’s commitment to guest security and transparency. In light of this experience, I advise fellow travelers to exercise caution if choosing to stay at this hotel. DO NOT rely on the in-room safe for securing cash and valuables at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview. It is my hope that this review serves as a cautionary note for future guests and prompts the hotel to address the concerns raised regarding the security of the hotel. 我在23年11月入住上海宝华万豪酒店，入住期间使用客房保险箱，存放了四个装有现金的信封。但退房之后，发现每个信封内的纸币都少了一张，共计损失230美元。我随后联系了宝华万豪，但酒店工作人员的调查结果疑点重重（疑点详情见下文），答复也很敷衍，明显违背了万豪酒店对客房安全和透明度的承诺。 鉴于本人的经历，我建议其他旅客在选择入住宝华万豪时谨慎三思。最好**不要**使用酒店的客房保险箱存放现金和贵重物品。也希望酒店方面能重视客房的安全问题，杜绝类似事件再次发生。 疑点1：投诉之后，酒店调取了保险箱的使用记录，但历史记录显示的第一次使用时间是在我退房之后。这个明显不符合事实情况，因为在我入住期间是用过保险箱的。但酒店以这个不准确的记录为依据，结束了调查。
