- TobiasM. (9/5): - Very cute hotel, beautiful set up and very friendly and helpful staff. Attention to details are very nice. It is a small walk outside the center, but easy 7-10 minute walk, so not too bad either.
- Lucas (9/5): -
- Jo (9/5): Beautiful hotel with thoughtful extras like afternoon tea very attentive and kind staff. - Amazing pastries and coffee and the ability to order and pay à la carte for extra food was great Our room was very noisy on the corner of two streets and below the restaurant (room 2)
- Katherine (10/5): We had a wonderful very peaceful stay, and it was a great location could walk to all the main spots, - The food and drinks were incredible
- SIDDHARTHA (9/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Amy (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable and friendly hotel affordable for short stays. - Almost everything! 1 hot beverage in the am is just not adequate. I wish there was a self serve coffee station for guests in the am.
- Wolfgang (9/5): -
- Clemens (4/5): - Nahe am Zentrum
Sicherer Parkplatz direkt neben Hotel

- Anne (8/5): - Facilities and Room - The hotel and room were exceptionally clean every day. There was adequate water available for filling up water containers. Rooftop top was beautiful and the bar was nice with good cocktails. There are many restaurants nearby that were very good, including a GF options. Staff - were friendly and accommodating. Room - Pillows were not great, kinda on the firm side. Our room was always stuffy upon return from the day, although once we opened the door and turned on the bathroom fan, it was comfortable. Pool - was very cold and the seat cushions weren't the cleanest. There was very limited sun in late January so only one or two guests could sit in the sun in the afternoon by the pool.
- ariane (1/5): Horrible - The location
The rooms are in the patio, they have no light, very basic furniture, no privacy or possibility to work.
The hotel has absolutely no privacy in general. I was there for work and I couldn’t work anywhere in the hotel. They told me to work from the “lobby which has no plugs and is noisy as people are passing by. I told them I was there to work and they told me to go to a co working office. I went there and paid to have a private office to do my work calls. I was supposed to stay for 5 nights and had to cancel my booking. They charged me for one night even though I never stepped foot in my room and i lost a day of work looking last minute for a new hotel. They could see I was super distressed and didn’t care at all. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

- Milagre (9/5): -
- Stijn van Oirschot (9/5): - Great and beautifully designed hotel in a nice neighbourhood of Oaxca. It is one of the more expensive options but it is worth it due to the service and great rooms. There was a Christmas pinata present on our room when we checked-in. It would be nice if you could add a breakfast to your reservation, now you have to order in their restaurant. Better coffee would be nice. Swimming pool and beds need some improvement as they are quite done.
- Tasha (8/5): - Beautiful property with comfortable rooms and fabulous staff. Lovely coffee in the morning available on the upstairs terrace. Afternoon tea was a delight too. Great location. Only thing I’d say is the shower pressure and temperature changed quite a lot in one shower session
- Daniela (9/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): - The restaurant was really good, the pool and hot tub area was good, the courtyard is so cute. Also the location is perfect, the area is really adorable and has great coffee shops all around.
- Paola (10/5): Very pleasant, would rebook - Great staff. Very helpful and very clean. Comfortable premises. Hot water was a bit tight in the showers.
- Suzi (9/5): -
- Dania (10/5): - Quiet, comfortable and very clean and the staff were very attentive to our needs.
- Jennifer (10/5): Hope to stay again! - Beautiful property and hotel. Wonderful location for those interested in Jalatlaco or staying just slightly out of the center. Incredibly kind and helpful staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

- Natalie (10/5): Beautiful! - Los Pilares is an amazing hotel. The building is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The restaurant and pool area is great! Such a fabulous location and stunning Día de Los Muertos altars. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Oaxaca! Nothing!
- Lindsay (9/5): -
- Mae Caparas (10/5): - shower pressure was low and took a while to get hot water
- Crossett (10/5): -
- James (9/5): Great time in Oaxaca - The look and feel of the place was very nice
Didn’t use it but the swimming pool looked great
Staff were all very friendly Felt it was on the edge of the city center, but everything was walkable so was fine.
- Katter (10/5): -
- Marian (10/5): -
- Raquel (10/5): - Omg best staff service, room very clean and new all tj3 installation
- Mariana (10/5): - Clean room, excellent staff and lots of shops/food close by!
- Alessandro (10/5): -
- Samantha (6/5): - Hotel is beautiful, reception/pool/bar area is great Majority of rooms do not have a window. The door lead into the central courtyard so if you want any privacy you have to compromise with no daylight.
- Joanne (10/5): I’m so glad I chose to stay in Jalatlaco as the area was my favourite part of Oaxaca. Los Pilares was a great choice and - All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the roof top spa and all the plants. N/A
- Anna (9/5): Spacious, lovely atmosphere and clean - Lovely spacious room, great location and walkable around the centre of Oaxaca. Bed was comfortable, and I liked the tea/coffee station in the communal area. Loved how they filled the space with plants, and though the pool is small it was a lovely space to lounge and cool off. We stayed 3 nights, would have happily stayed a week. We were woken each morning before 7 by what sounded like moving furniture upstairs, probably preparing for breakfast. Maybe they could prepare this the night before. This was only a minor issue, the rest of the stay was 10/10.
- Merlín López (9/5): -
- Patricia (10/5): - Very lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The staff at the restaurant was amazing! We’ll definitely come back.
- Natalia (9/5): - The room was so relaxing, and becautiful, I loved that we were next to the pool adn bar overlooking the lovely plants on the terrace.
Staff were super helpful, Hotel super clean and comfortable, bar was great!
Pool is the right size for a quick dip from the heat in oaxaca, lovely and relaxing!
- Cristina (9/5): -
- Francisco J (10/5): -
- Dennis (9/5): - Fantastisk personale
Hotellet er meget smagfuldt og hyggeligt indrettet
- Anoushka (10/5): -
- Gina (10/5): Incredible charm and hospitality - Simple, beautiful and luxurious at a 3 Star price. Service was incredible and the property was spotless. We enjoyed a quick dip in the pool and the jacuzzi and we thought the breakfast was first rate. Having a place to safely park our car in Oaxaca was a bonus. I will definitely be coming back! Our room didn't have a window to the courtyard but that was ok as the airconditioner worked well and we did not spend time in our room. It is a classic hotel in a gorgeous old building and for that it was a small price to pay.
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect boutique hotel! - Los Pilares was perfect -- close enough to everything near the center, but far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet. I loved the ability to take a dip in the pool or grab food at the rooftop restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (10/5): Definite stay and return in Oaxaca! - We loved the neighborhood, Jalatlaco, it was very walkable to everything we needed. The property was very cute and clean with all the plants. The staff was so sweet and attentive. NA - everything was great.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful hotel, great location and very helpful staff. - Everything about the hotel was exceptional! Beautiful courtyard, restaurant and pool area and the rooms were great. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
There were beautiful flowers around the hotel with a purple theme as it was during the Easter period. Can't think of anything!
- Pascal (8/5): Very nice place if you stay 2-4 days in Oaxaca - Good location Can be a bit noisy due to traffic, in my room at least. Earplugs did the job!
- Maricella (9/5): Quiet and pleasant - The setting was very beautiful N/c
- Nadim (6/5): - Good location away from crowds but walkable to where everything is happening and nice outdoor terrace. One major negative though, the Wifi never worked and there isn’t celular signal in bedroom, so WiFi is a must. Staff tried to help but they had no idea how to fix it, even though they are friendly didn’t think they were qualified to deal with stuff like this. A/c in bedroom was directly in front of the bed so you would freeze at night, we tried moving the fan but there was no way.
- Lisa (6/5): - My stay was enjoyable, however, the Hotel is grossly overpriced. What was not appreciated was the fact there wasn't even free coffee offered in the morning. I would expect at least coffee / pastries for the price I paid. My room was clean...and the shower was difficult to figure out how to use. I really like this Hotel, it's just super over priced.
- Jaime (9/5): Best location and well-kept rooms, if you are planning to keep Oaxaca as base. - Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms. Shower was not as expected, also considering the high temperatures, hard to keep a constant pressure, temperature.
- Toral (8/5): Nice place - Nice, comfortable room. Quiet pool area. No issues
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (9/5): A charming and comfortable hotel nestled in the artsy Oaxacan neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the city center, - The charming heritage boutique hotel was nestled in a quiet, artsy location in Jalatlaco, just a few blocks away from the bustling central Santo Domingo. The knowledgeable front desk staff recommended great restaurants and even booked a taxi for us to the airport. And the bartender crafted delicious mezcal cocktails (mezcalitas) to complete our stay. The pool sise was more for a quick dip to cool off, and the water was freezing cold. The jacuzzi was a nice touch.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, but the wifi was spotty.
- Sarah (9/5): Great stay, recommend - The staff was great, the rooms and property are nice! The shower didn’t have continuous hot water.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - Absolutely beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Incredible rooftop and location. Really recommend staying here in Oaxaca. Room we had opened to the interior courtyard, so not much light and we had to leave the curtain closed for privacy, making it quite dark. As well, the windows and walls are quite thin, so not for light sleepers, but also not absurdly loud.
- Barry (7/5): Lovely hotel with rooftop restaurant, nice courtyard for relaxing and great location. - Breakfast was great, super location on the outskirts of the centre, and away from the noise at night. No tea or coffee making facilities. The jacuzzi spa was directly above us and the noise woke us up in the mornings. The pool is too small for swimming.
- Delfina (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, the neighborhood has a lot of great restaurants and food carts, and is just a short walk from the center of town. It was nice to be separate from the hub bub, and the shops are actually a little nicer when you get outside of the center.
The hotel is gorgeous with the upstairs pool and dining area being the crown jewel of the hotel. The food and coffee were quite nice, and the staff was very friendly. Gorgeous plants and flowers fill the nicely shaded area.
Plunge pool was great on a hot day, plenty of space around the pool for lounging/laying out whilst sipping a margarita. And because the hotel is so small you generally feel like you have the place to yourself.
Would highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back.
- Roger (8/5): Very good - Room was very dark. Would have preferred to have a window
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (10/5): - While the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, the best thing about the hotel are the staff. Each one was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here!
- Alexander (7/5): Great property and staff but room could have been better for the money - The staff were amazingly nice and attentive and the property was beautiful (great rooftop café/restaurant and very peaceful. Our room though was windowless and quite musty (I think it was number 4 on ground floor). It was very clean but as it got no air there was a damp smell. Bed was average comfort and the air-con would oscillate between extremely loud and quiet which didn’t help sleeping.
- Gabrielle (10/5): - Beautiful property with amazing staff!!!
- Lauren (10/5): Blissful stay in a plant-filled oasis, tucked away in a historic neighborhood - Smaller hotel so it wasn’t busy or loud, felt like an oasis in the city.
- Dr. Beth (10/5): - The boutique hotel was lovely, but what made the stay so enjoyable was the wonderful and friendly staff...also the incredible fresh and delicious food :)
- Jason (9/5): Superb - Staff were excellent and very accommodating
- Shaun (8/5): - Place was great! Staff amazing and rooms were clean and comfortable. I found price to be a little high though
- Christopher (10/5): Would stay here again for sure! - Breakfast was amazing! Rooms were large and comfortable. Super cool designs Weekend nights can be loud because of parties in a square next door. I brought my noise machine so I had no problems.
- Debra (10/5): - Really great location and nice rooms my only disappointment was dirty hot tub and a very cold pool also restaurant and bar was closed most of the time,
- Meaghan (10/5): - Los Pilares was our oasis in Oaxaca to relax and unwind after walking and eating our way through the city. The upstairs terrace was perfect for staying out of the heat, and the rooms were spotless. I’d recommend this hotel for anyone and we’ll definitely return. The area of Jalatlaco is an incredible area for walking around cafe and gallery hopping.
- Raphaelle (9/5): Charming hotel & terrace filled with plants, ideal location in an arty neighbourhood - Charming, amazing terrace, and beautiful patio filled with plants. Absolutely loved the area! A bit noisy sometimes with the busy road nearby
- Alex (8/5): Wonderful place to stay in Oaxaca - Beautiful and elegant property. Comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant on site. Great and artistic neighborhood. Quiet, yet so close to busy downtown. Most rooms have only a set of french doors opening to a central patio. Definitely a lack of air circulation. It can get a bit stuffy. But this is pretty common in Oaxaca.
- Amy (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing & great service - Beautiful property, great rooftop restaurant and really walkable to all the main tourist attractions around the city. Perfect neighbourhood that wasn’t loud. The room was stunning 10/10
- Bonnie (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Great staff. Loved being on the top floor (rooftop) with the restaurant and sitting area right there.
- Priscilla (8/5): Very good -
- Hester (8/5): Wonderful - Very comfortable and lovely interior The pool was rather small and just a few sunbeds
- Matilda (10/5): - Pretty, boutique hotel - great location and lovely breakfast.
Staff very friendly.
- Dan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leotie (10/5): - With hand painted decor and and well maintained gardens Los Palardes has the feel of a hidden paradise. The rooftop restaurant has a very uplifting feel. The staff is very helpful and attentive.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Feliza (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (9/5): Amazing quiet and relaxed hotel to discover Oaxaca. - Quiet atmosphere, beautiful hotel, loved the café and swimming pool on the rooftop. -
- Jennifer (10/5): Great location near cafes, galleries and restaurants. Staff was very helpful with ordering taxis , recommendations for r - Beautifully decorated , staff and location were great ! Nothing
