• Imre (10/5): Perfect place with pets - It was amazing. The hotel has a very big and nice garden so if you travel with pets this is the best place in Hua Hin. The pool is big and the breakfast was good. The staff is very kind, flexible and helpful. Thank you for everything! 😊
• debranancysmiths (8/5): Book a clay house on river with veranda - Really loved our 2 night stay ...wasn't happy with room in the " block" but upgraded to clay house on river with it's own wood Verander which was stunning ...staff lovely food lovely eating outside feeding the huge fish was great ..2 nights was perfect stay ..peaceful and tranquil
• editorapproach (10/5): Tree Top Adventure Park - Tree Top Adventure Park - Yet another great adventure for kids of all ages in Hua Hin. On the parallel road to the Bypass Highway and easy reachable from Soi 112, the Vana Varin Nature Resort has created a fun Tree Top Adventure event . Kids as well as grown ups are first trained with the climbing equipment by instructors who also accompany beginners going from 1 tree top to another with different handicaps and zip lines in between. It is completely safe and very exciting. The whole exercise lasts about 1 hour. There is a nice swimming pool to cool off and a restaurant with an international menu. There is also a bicycle and ATV track through the "jungle" and the cabanas at the resort are lakeside with so-called jungle lodges in the forest. Kids & parents love it alike. You can look it up on Google maps to get directions.

• kaderw2015 (10/5): The Best manager i have ever come through - We had a fantastic time during the last weekend. The Manager Mr Kitty was such a wonderful person who helped us at almost all time. So is the other staffs. Swimming pool, soccer ground, Meeting Hall & other facilities were excellent at its best. Located in the middle of jungle & not so far from downtown Hua Hin. One Word before i finish my review - Top Top Top Host.
• sukhumd2017 (8/5): Big resort far from the sea - We stayed in clay houses. The room is big and beautiful but little bit old. There are a lot of facilities available such as swimming pool, football field, bicycle. Bicycle are old and need repairs. But this resort welcomes pets.

• BKLCH1 (8/5): Great For Nature Lovers @ This Pet Friendly Resort - We stayed for 2 nights at this large property about 20 drives in-land from the seashore of Hua Hin. Our accommodation was a 2-stories pool villa. We checked in on Friday afternoon when the resort was nearly emptied. We immediately felt at peace. We bought 4 foldable bikes with hope to get some riding about the resort. To our pleasant surprise, the resort has it's own 3-KM mountain bike/ATV trial! We were able to explore part of the trail on our own little bike before return to our villa and spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool. We ordered BBQ dinner from room service which was delicious. We retired to bed early for a very good sleep. The breakfast buffet was plenty. We highly recommend the salad and mushroom since the resort has its own hydroponic garden and a mushroom shed! Staff are very friendly. We also were able to bring our pet Chihuahua who enjoyed the new environment very much. The resort has it's own pet dogs, cats, geese, and a pair of peacocks. They seem to live in full harmony! This is not a place for those who want only luxuries. It's more for nature lovers and we highly recommend it.
• shenoygayathri (8/5): Over all decent - The place is nice and clean. The property is huge. But no one really told us what there was to explore on the property and we were kind of lost. The breakfast buffet is very very limited. The property is beautiful- peacocks, ducks, dogs etc. You can ride bikes or rent their ATV.
• singhnavjeet (10/5): One of the best holiday ever ! - Had a very good time, friendly and helpful staff. Very good food, had one of the best phad Thai here and above all its a pet friendly hotel! Here they have cycle we could take and ride in the hotel. Very beautiful view
• timsM7615IN (8/5): Perfect place for dig lovers - We have now stayed here a few times, always in one of the the 2 storey bungalows and with our dog. Staff is very friendly. The resort is very big, perfect for a long walk. It is dog friendly (any size dog) which made us go the first time and come back again and again. You need to have a car as it is 10-20 minutes away from everything
• nithik2015 (10/5): Lovely quiet pet friendly place - The management off the hotel were very nice from the moment we walked in. The villas and rooms are really nice, we stayed in the wood villa. A nice nature and pet friendly resort to take our little pup for walks. He enjoyed himself as did we!
• Mell0rs (10/5): Escape the world's problems for a few days. - We felt like Tarzan and Jane. What a beautiful tranquil and relaxing place this is. Everywhere you looked there was something beautiful to see. The Trees, the flowers, the fish and the fireflies and the people.The food, the service, and the accommodation was excellent. The WiFi was a bit iffy but that just added to the feeling of having escaped. The location was good - rural, no jungle - but within easy reach of civilization. We stayed four days and loved every minute of it.
• jo (10/5): Perfect for dog owners. - The clay houses have lovely verandas overlooking the large ponds. We took our small dog, who had the most fabulous time on the long walks around the grounds and swimming in the ponds. Lots of wildlife to watch - but unfortunately also mosquitos! We also stayed one night in the jungle suites, which are nice and large, and more like hotel rooms. We preferred the privacy of the clay houses. The pool is big and uncrowded. Staff are really lovely and the place has a very relaxed feel. It is not 5 star in terms of bedding and towels, but the facilities more than outweigh that.
• Claes (8/5): Avkoppling - Vana Varin var ett bra ställe att koppla av på. Tyvärr var det alltför långt till centrala Hua Hin. Det krävdes eget transportmedel ( bil) eller transport av hotellet. Språkkunskaperna var också begränsade till ett par personer. Maten var mycket god och billig. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och trevlig Det var flest thailändare som bodde där och i stor utsträckning hade man husdjur med sig
• Ki Ki (10/5): 超級棒！ - 與市中心有點距離，交通有一點點不免。但實在很舒適，住的是獨立屋有一個獨立泳池，隨時隨地都可以享受，很有世外桃源的感覺。

• Angel242324 (8/5): Something different - We stayed here for three nights in a two bedroom villa . When driving in the entrance we thought oh dear as it looked really run down . But once we reached reception we were thrilled . It was very rural with lakes ponds and wildlife around . The villa was lovely with old fashioned furniture but beds were a little hard and pillows too full. The staff were lovely even though we didn't really understand each other much . As soon as we asked for something it was done or they phoned others to help . We hired a scooter 250B a day . The area isn't too busy so we went on the scooter to the floating markets and further afield to temples etc . Breakfast was very minimal but nice . The food at the restaurant was delicious . They let us ride the bikes around the complex which was nice . We asked for a taxi one night so the lad gave us a lift in there car to Huambo hin market and picked us up . On our return we gave him money but he was embarrassed but we insisted he took it . On leaving we asked reception if they could take us to bus hin train station . They did for no cost . I would stay here again as it was so different from beach holidays
• 500bethanyb (10/5): Excellent - Many of the staff didn't speak english very well but they were all very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet and the food from the restaurant was all very good. There was a large natural lake which I wouldn't want to swim in but the pool was really nice anyway. About 40mins from the train station.
• Verified traveler (8/5): a relaxing and peaceful getaway. - So quiet and peaceful. I felt the stress and tension melt away as soon as I got there. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodated our 2 little dogs with pleasure. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to sit and view the wildlife on the pond.
• SupattraNaka (8/5): Design & landscape is beatiful in Clay house - Spacious in Clay house with natural veiw with small waterfall you can relax and can cycling around the resort ,they provide the bike for guest that stay their. Good swimming Pool for my kids, both of them enjoy to swiming. Only 1 thing that they don't friendly with kid, if your have kid more than 3 years old they will charge for breakfast.
• hilalrawahy (8/5): Good place in Hua Hin - Vana varin resort is in remote side of Hua Hin in a jungle like atmosphere with a man-made small lake. The mud houses are really beautiful. This place is for people who are looking for a quiet and relaxing enjoying the natural beauty. The staff are friendly and are always there to help. A shuttle is avaliable on daily bases to the city and back. NOTE: you may find sometimes that you are the only guest(s) in the entire resort.
• PeterDN (6/5): Dog friendly resort - We booked this hotel because it accepts dogs (at a small extra fee). The rooms are in bungalows set in a pleasant park, around a small lake. It's a perhaps a little bit near the road (so ask for a room as far ways from the road as possible. It is about 10 km from Hua Hin city center so you will need to car to get around. The rooms are quite spacious and kept clean. The hotel provides some small bikes to get from the main building to the rooms. The breakfast buffet could be improved. Swimming pool area feels a bit dated and could be renovated. Only know a good choice if you have a dog and need to base for exploring the area (Sam Roi Yot National Park is certainly worth a visit).

• Kate2travel (6/5): Family Traveling With Dog... - This is a beautifully picturesque resort, it is peaceful and quiet which is what we wanted. Their swimming pool is an Ideal size but if in peak season could struggle to cater to a full house of guests. The rooms are a great size and perfect for doggies. The only negatives I would mention is that it's at least a 15/20 min drive from Hua Hin beachfront, which could be a problem for those without transport.

• pivotal62 (6/5): Beautiful setting but ... - Had 2nights here in January 2014. The lakeside setting was wonderful, the individual grass roofed mud huts were stunning, and the staff welcoming and helpful. But, the road traffic was intrusive at times and the breakfast choice was quite limiting, especially the non cooked option. The bed was too hard for our liking and the pillows much too full and uncomfortable. However, at 2000 bhats a night (approx £40) perhaps not bad overall!
• roba759 (10/5): Good for the soul! - We just spent a wonderful long weekend here. We were assigned a lovely villa/cabin, with its own fenced-in yard. Our dog, now used to Bangkok living, got a taste of the good life all weekend long. The villas were large and well-maintained. They were spotless, and stocked with any amenity you'd be likely to need. Meals were quite good as well, with both a la carte items and the breakfast buffet exceeding our expectations. What really sets this resort apart, however, are the owners/staff and the beautiful environs. We could barley turn a corner without a staff member asking if we were having fun and getting everything we needed. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, and there is lots to do. We took advantage of the free kayaks, and paid the nominal fee for an ATV rental. While this resort isn't terribly close to the beach, we didn't miss it. We did sneak into town for meals a few times, but we really just enjoyed all the resort itself had to offer. There is really nothing to criticize; we can't wait to come back (and we hope we get the same villa next time!)

• Markus (8/5): Erholsame Ferien - Resort ausgesucht, da nicht direkt in der Stadt sondern etwas ausserhalb. Nicht als Badeferien am Meer nach Thailand gegangen, sondern um das Hinterland ein bisschen besser kennen zu lernen. Daher sicher von Vorteil, wenn ein eigenes oder gemietetes Fahrzeug vorhanden. Sauberkeit der Zimmer und der Umgebung sehr gut. Service im Restaurant ist gut, hat jedoch noch gewisses Potenzial und dies haben wir dem Management während des Aufenthaltes auch mitgeteilt. Hotelausstattung ist sehr gut, mit einem grossen Pool der auch Kindergerecht eingerichtet ist. Umgebung der Anlage ist grosszügig eingerichtet und sehr ruhig.
