- Oliveira (10/5): Quaint and cozy inn. Close, but not too close, to the heart of Palm Springs - Loved the location, the facilities, how small and cozy the inn feels. The room was great for the price, clean. I did not use much of the facilities, like the pool, since I was traveling for work, but I will consider returning to check it out. They also have bikes you can borrow, even though I didn't use them. I did ask them if they could print copies of some documents I needed for work and they did it, and on very nice paper as well. I particularly appreciated getting the text message the morning of my reservation with the details of my stay like parking, and the door code. This is one of the first times I stayed at a place like this where I didn't have to wait in a line to check in and I appreciated that. I had to park on the left most spot, and you kinda have to do it at an angle, but other than that no complaints.

The suite was clean and comfortable. We loved that it’s a smaller property so it’s not crowded and there is plenty of room in and around the pool. We didn’t use the townie bikes but we love the fact that they are there if we wanted or needed them. Nothing that we really didn’t like, the mattress leaned a little and the shower was a little slow to drain.

- James (10/5): Great Choice For Close-In Palm Springs - I'd highly recommend this place if you want to stay close-in Palm Springs. Only 8 rooms...all big and spacious (Rm #7 had an efficiency kitchen)...great for short or long-term stays. Modern update. Top-shelf furnishings. Very quiet. Owners on site and accessible if needed (text # provided). Easy walking distance to downtown PS. You can always tell when the owners are "travelers"....the room had everything you needed. Private parking (some places in that area are street parking). I'd return if visiting again.

- susan staunton (10/5): A beautiful quiet hotel that is pet friendly. - This is a very nice pet friendly hotel. I had low expectations due to them allowing pets. The room we had was large with an attached bathroom. We also had a large living room, dining table and kitchenette. There is a fenced side yard for pets. The decor is tastefully done. The bed was comfortable and multiple pillows were available. The room was immaculate and maid service was provided. The location is a short walk to the main shopping and dining areas. The pool area is lovely. There is an attention to detail in all aspects of this hotel. I look forward to returning. I needed to stay an extra day but they were booked! There is nothing to dislike at this charming hotel.

- Daniel (10/5): - The owners were freaking amazing, polite, kind, and very supportive. They took the time to come to my room and help me figure something out. Felt like I truly mattered. The room was awesome, and the shower and bathroom were amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen setup was the best I have ever seen in a room. The only part was the sweet, amazing, beautiful gal that i was talking to by the pool, was married, and was taken. Was such a shame, haha. She was amazing to talk to, and her husband was a great guy to talk to as well. I enjoyed our conversation. There was nothing to not like at this amazing, highly recommended Inn. I will be back in the near future for a few days.

- Justin (10/5): Loved this place and will return! - I don’t write reviews, but the Old Ranch Inn far exceeded my expectations and I felt the need to let others know that this is a great place to stay. I don’t normally stay at boutique hotels, with their paper thin walls and too cool for school curated look that lacks substance, but being in PS for my birthday I wanted to try something less…corporate. Old Ranch Inn has substance, satisfactory walls and plenty of photo ops for Instagram. Jason @ Old Ranch Inn communicated everything I needed to know for check in via text, the entire interaction was effortless and professional. I loved the experience of showing up and walking right to our room, no peopling required. The room (Suite1) was perfect, kitchenette was awesome, bed was firm, room was clean clean…not just clean. I was worried that being one of the two rooms at the very entrance to the Inn that we would be bothered by the entry door opening and closing all night and in the morning, I heard the door open once or twice, but everyone was very courteous and respectful of the quiet atmosphere, room location was a nonissue. The entire Inn was quiet, peaceful and felt safe and secure. If it wasn’t for the cars in parking area for the Inn I would have thought we were the only guests. The location is great, not so close that it’s noisy, but close enough that you can walk to food and entertainment, if you are acclimated to the heat. I don’t think I have ever been a return hotel guest anywhere, I have never stayed someplace that made me brand loyal, but next time my partner and I head to PS, Old Ranch Inn will be our first choice for accommodations. I really didn’t have any complaints, but if I was going to be super picky I would say…the electric leaf blower although better than a standard leaf blower took me out of the fantasy vacation mindset, for about 10 minutes, tops. That’s it, this place is really solid.
