- Joanna (10/5): Overall very good second stay. - This was our second stay in this hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a balcony and the city view and this was amazing. Good size room, very clean. We even had hotel staff checking with us one evening if everything okay and we were given some sweet treats. Locations fantastic with all the restaurants and a supermarket close by. Staff very nice and helpful. The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact the our room was next to the lift and next to the ice machine. There was one morning around 6am when the ice machine started shuffling the ice or something and it was rather loud. And another personal preference- the bed was too soft for me. I felt like I was never lying flat but rather in a U position. I would suggest to change the mattress for a new one.

- Sandra (9/5): Very nice contemporary green hotel in a great location. - The hotel is in a great location, Yaletown, which has a lot of shops and restaurants. Gastown also within walking distance. There was always a big bowl of apples at the front t desk. The staff was very personable and helpful. I would return if I return to Vancouver. I noticed some ants in the room the last night. They do have compost bins in the room but I only used it once with minimal amounts of food.

- Carrie (6/5): Pretty disappointed. The shower, the Netflix, and the lack of customer service from hotel staff in resolving the issues - The hotel had a hot tub, pool and sauna. The rooms were spacious and clean. The shower didn’t drain properly, so after 5 minutes you were standing in ankle deep water. There was no Netflix or mirroring available on the smart TV, so we had to watch Netflix on our phones in bed. We had to ask for some sort of compensation (and received a single free breakfast) as the facilities in the room were not as promised.

Lovely hotel ... can't fault it. - Having visited Vancouver many times and often choosing locations nearer Coal Harbour or more centrally located Downtown I did think we may find down by the City Library slightly out of the way. However, Hotel Blu is a great location. Close to Yaletown (Urban Fare/Seabus station and sea wall walkway). Being on Robson it's a straightforward walk to Pacific Place/Canada Place and two Sky Train stations. Chilled water in the foyer was always a welcome arriving back and everywhere is spotless. Room had everything we should need with a good sized refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, iron and ironing board and free washer and dryer on Floor 2. Everything was great. I think Hotel Blu has it all spot on. A fair price for rooms and good soundproofing which is really useful after a transatlantic flight.

- Dorothea (10/5): Pretty and Peaceful - I loved that complimentary aromatherapy was offered prior to my arrival. The lobby is calming when you walk in. My room was beautiful and larger than I expected with nice finishing touches. Turn down service was offered with chocolates and pillow spray. The concierge assisted me with what to do as it was my first time visiting Vancouver. The location is great with various shops and restaurants within walking distance. There's also a Casino within walking distance. I wish I had booked a longer stay. I would definitely stay here again. There wasn't anything I did not like.

Suitcases had to stay open, mostly unpacked on the floor. Interior is showing wear and tear ( loose bathroom fixtures) . Gym is adequate at best.

Good amenities and nice Elemis toiletries. Just small things, overall very good. 'Business center' was out of date, old computers, no WiFi printer. As with many hotels, general lighting woes - loads of individual lights to put on and no bedside overall 'off' switch.

When I had a problem logging onto the internet, they came to the room in just a few minutes to help diagnose and fix the issue. Vancouver is a walkable city and we found the hotel located not too far from the waterfront. We like walking so we enjoyed it. On check in we were upgraded to a very nice loft room with a bedroom on the first floor. We had those massive windows from the ceiling to the floor - very cool and nice looking. This room also comes with a little balcony and a patio. There is no view, just green bushes but very cosy and secluded. We really enjoyed it. The living room area was spacious. Good size room. Very happy with the booking and upgrade. The breakfast was delicious and staff polite and attentive.

Great location for bars, restaurants and Rogers arena. Would definitely stay here when back in Vancouver. At one point 2 of the 3 elevators were out of service, this led to quite long waits.

Only minor thing was difficulty in using the laundry with only one washing machine, but really loved that it was free and the staff helpful with detergent!

Many pf the attractions are also within walking distance. The staff was very accommodating and gave me a late checkout. The hotel has a great pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Best of all, they have a self-serve washer and dryer and even provide detergent.

- Niru (9/5): Excellent time! - Super location and the staff were very attentive. Great place to stay to get to events in BC Place as well outside of Vancouver.
- Gabriela (9/5): Excellent service in every department. The front desk team, especially Gevin/Kevin at the check-in. Also, Shayene wa - Contemporary design, security, and location. Although I couldn't use it as I wished, it was a plus have access to the sauna and indoor pool. The restaurant only provides breakfast. I caught a cold and I wished I had room service for meals.

- Jacqueline (9/5): Lovely experience - Lovely rooms, clean and modern hotel, quick check in and out. Little touches such as the free ebike hire, fresh apples, filtered water and the sauna make it more enjoyable. Pillows are too big and air con isn't cold enough.
