• Hanna (10/5): Highly recommended, especially for young people - Excellent hostel just a 3-minute walk from the beach. For a hostel, the conditions are excellent: calm, clean, and suitable for working if needed. There is entertainment every evening: painting, table tennis, and board games. There are lockers for luggage and valuables in the room; only one has to buy the lock at the reception ($5) or bring their own. There was a free breakfast every morning (simple pancakes + tea or coffee), which was very nice. The kitchen has a big fridge and microwave. We didn't cook, but it is possible to cook as there are pots and frying pans, plates, cutlery (though no cups:) When we booked, we didn't realize that our room was semi-private, meaning that there is a first room with a kitchen and bunk beds, and the entrance to our private room is from the first room. The bathroom was in the corner of the first room and shared; the 4 lockers were near the bathroom. Eventually, it was not a problem as we had very nice neighbours in the first room (two guys). • Beatriz (1/5): DONT STAY HERE! NOT WORTH IT - Location I have a terrible experience staying in this hostel. They advertise as having A/C but it’s only available if you’re in the first room. They only provide up to two towels during the stay and you need to make your own bed with the sheets provided during check in and the blankets provided were donated by former guests (aka used airplane blankets provided by the airline). Also, the bathroom and the room were so dirty that I can’t even explain. I literally couldn’t stay during the 4 nights and had to book an Airbnb and spent extra money. NOT WORTH IT!!!!

• Vahine13 (8/5): Sympa - La proximité aux plages Kuhio et Waikiki beach, proche du côté de Waikiki animé avec de quoi manger facilement Pancakes le matin, fontaine à eau. Chambre de 4 femmes avec la cuisine très grande pour y laisser nos valises afin de laisser la chambre, c'est en fair un 2 pièces. La terrasse pour la chambre super. Les WC sont lavés tous les jours Les lits sont clairement très vieux et selon sur lequel vous êtes, quand la personne du haut ou du bas bouge, l'autre bouge aussi, c'est très désagréable, mais les matelas sont confortables, dans ma chambre, les autres, je ne sais pas si c'est pareil. La clim fait beaucoup de bruit, mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles, il n'y a aucun problème pour dormir pour moi, par contre, certaines sont sensibles au bruit et coupent la clim, ce qui n'est pas possible car il fait lourd. Donc pensez à prendre de vrais bouchons d'oreilles et laissez la climatisation allumée pour le bien-être de toutes. Le ménage : la douche jamais lavée en 14 nuits (le lavabo j'ai un doute). Le sol de la douche toujours avec les cheveux au fond et les murs de la douche sales, c'est glissant, on sent la couche de savon pour le corps dessus... le sol de la chambre et cuisinebpas lavé tous les jours. Les 2 lits superposés sont trop collés l'un à l'autre et un lit est trop collé à la clim, mais vu que la chambre est très petite et avec la terrasse, compliqué de changer le placement des lits, car la fille qui a le lit du haut juste à côté de la clim peut être problématique pour elle et avoir l'envie de la couper, mais dormir sans clim n'est pas possible.

It’s also located right next to the beach and they have a lot of equipment you can borrow so you don’t have to rent somewhere else.

• Karim (2/5): AVOID THIS HOSTEL AT ALL COSTS / DISRESPECTFUL STAFF, FILTHY CONDITIONS AND BROKEN FACILITIES - This was honestly one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. The staff was rude, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful, especially the bald guy with tattoos at the reception. I approached him because the kitchen facilities were not working and the shared kitchen was missing basic items like bowls and cutlery. His response was basically that he “didn’t care.” He made me wait for no reason and spoke in a very arrogant and dismissive way. The management was like we're annoying them when talking to them (except Ashley who was great and with a great smile) The kitchen situation was unacceptable: the oven and stove were not functioning, many utensils were missing, and nobody seemed interested in fixing anything. I eventually had to find another female staff member just to ask where we could eat. Cleanliness was also terrible. The floors were dirty most of the time and the cleaning staff looked like they were pretending to clean rather than actually doing their job. The whole place felt neglected. To make things worse, at around 11:30 PM we were aggressively told to leave the common areas in a very disrespectful manner, as if we were causing problems while we were simply sitting calmly. The way the staff spoke to guests was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It would also be appreciated if guests were informed in advance that animals are allowed in shared rooms. I like animals, so this is not about that, but you cannot impose sharing a room with a dog on other travelers without their consent. I had to spend an entire week in a room with a dog and deal with dog hair throughout my stay. For hygiene and comfort reasons, this should absolutely be disclosed beforehand. An unacceptable experience from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs.

The bunkbeds are very cheap and you can feel every movement of the other person. We didnt have a fan in our room, so it was really hot the entire night. The bathroom looked very used, and overall it was very cheaply equipped and not that clean.

The large common area is great for relaxation or socializing. Overall, the hostel has a great vibe. This is my second time staying here, the beds really are bad in the female dorm. I could feel the mattress springs and the bunk beds move like crazy and make noise when they move so you feel everyone in the shared room.

The women's 4-bed dorm had a large living room/kitchenette area which was larger than the bedroom, but the lack of furniture made it hard to use the space effectively. Having more seats and/or storage space would have been helpful, as would another mirror to avoid bottleneck situations in the bathroom.

I cleaned after I cooked and fed the whole guests that night and they said it was messy even after I cleaned dishes that wasn’t mine as well . I will never go back !!! Top it off my brand new pair of air Jordan’s got stolen when I woke up on my last day staying there. Than manager says I can’t enjoy the place and have to be ever seemed due to the eastern middle staff member who called police on me when I was off property playing music at my night gig aka owner of food stand gave me permission!! I than asked manager what about my air Jordan’s that got stolen she replied not there responsibility and Expedia said same!!! I’m never using Expedia ever too ! What messed up they try to kick me out before I even checked in and Expedia did nothing to give me my refund either!!! I would love a 3 night stay at 5 star hotel and250$ for my air Jordan’s vintage shoes haven to menu family member very sentimental value too!!! Read above

• Caroline (8/5): Great place to stay for the price - Most of the staff members are awesome but the rockstars of the hostel are Rocky, Tommy, Lucy and CJ. Super helpful! It's got a big lounge area where other travelers can connect with each other or just relax. There's a separate place if you need to do work. They serve pancakes every morning and coffee/tea 24/7 until it's out. Excellent location! For the most part the dorms are clean but they should consider doing a deep cleaning of the bathrooms because there's gross mold build up in the corners, ceiling and floor. Also there's noticeable accumulated dust on the window sills, under the beds, walls etc. The common kitchen could use some organization. Unfortunately there isn't an elevator. Something to consider if you have heavy luggage and you're on the 4th floor. Certain staff members tend to be condescending towards other staff members of color.
• Michelle (9/5): Great place overall, definitely recommend. - Location can’t be better. Female dorm functional - bed, shower, lockers and some hanging space. In room fridge. House keeping cleans bathroom. Staff responsive. Can borrow stuff for the beach. Activities on site and group chat for solo travelers to fine people to join. Bunk beds are the ones that rattle with any movement, you feel the person on the bottom or top.

• Alenda Vidal (6/5): - La ubicación, el rollo de la zona social, la sencillez y la agenda diaria con actividades que mantienen. Siempre hay café y agua. Es un lugar donde todo el mundo ,sea de cualquier edad y sexo , es bienvenido. Como es normal, tanta gente mezclada, tantos horarios...provocan confusiones en el personal. Alguien dejó en nuestra habitación sus maletas y nadie sabía nada. Resultó ser que alguien se quiso instalar en una cama que no tocaba. Todo sencillo y divertido... económico, pero la calidad es normalita.

• Makishi (8/5): ワイキキでコスパNo.1のホステル - ビーチまで徒歩2分くらいで空港からのWLINEの停留所もすぐ近くでめちゃくちゃいい立地。スタッフも親切でチェックアウト後にタオルを貸してくれて共用のシャワーも使わせてもらった。利用しなかったが、チェックイン前チェックアウト後にビーチギアもレンタルできる。また無料の朝食をいただけた。物価高いハワイではありがたい。 ベッドが不安定で上になるとかなり揺れるだけが難点。 早い者勝ちなので、できれば下の段を取ると良い。

• Agnieszka (8/5): Świetny kompromis jakosci do ceny w genialnej lokalizacji - Lokalizacja jest świetna! Na miejscu można zjeść śniadanie i napić się kawy, a po wymeldowaniu skorzystać z prysznica. Super opcja przy wieczornym wylocie. Niestety obiekt jest starszy i widać jego zużycie. Jest też średnio czysto, co ogólnie najbardziej negatywnie wpłynęło na odbiór naszego pobytu. Wiem, że to hostel i luksusów nie będzie, ale mogłoby być czyściej.

• Torialy (10/5): - Dealing with staff was absolutely fantastic. I meet Rayan he help me with phone calls provide me with phone. When check out time meet Vin he was so nice he aske me if I need anything. Garet she was helpful with check in Ashley was also helpful. Rocky was not working anywhere that was not nice

• esther (9/5): Life with endless enjoyment by the beach, affordable to almost everyone and make you younger again - Location right around the corner of the beach, friendly staff, various activities, affordable lodging prices for almost everyone...get to know and make instant friends from all over the world to travel with while you are staying there...you would meet quite a lot of very talented young friends from all over the world who will entertain you more... Too soft mattress ;))

• Daniel (6/5): Good vibes - Location was great and nice hang out space and nice vibes. Morning breakfast was great and the staff were nice. The rooms are way outdated, the doors have gaps in and so do the windows which makes the place quite noisy, the wifi didn’t work and there was only one tumble dryer for the whole place but overall it did the job.

• powers (4/5): - Two towels (bath + beach) included with linen. Surprisingly thick, comfy mattress. The luggage storage policy is stupid. There are four floors and no elevator. I didn't need anything from my heavy checked luggage but was still obliged to schlep it up too many flights of stairs...owing to "policy". This isn't the '60s anymore when people traveled with suitcases weighing 7lbs (and hotels employed bellhops). Travelers nowadays move with heavy bags. Either install an elevator, for crying out loud, or allow for overnight storage. Also: The sleepers in our freezing room seemed depressed :(

The manager and African member of staff was angels tho unfortunately my brand new Jordan's got stolen night before leaving . :( will I be compensated for my loss !!??? The middle Eastern girl staff member deserves to be fired . They never informed me of movie night never told me about breakfast. I was told not to hang out there.my Jordan's were stolen night before leaving no check was cut I'm upset my only brother bought those for me it has sentimental value size 12 new whit white Jordan's retro 190$ in cost .

• Xuanyan (10/5): - A few things really stood out to me during my stay here: the staff were awesome and took good care of my lost item; I met a really nice friend and we explored Oahu together; the location was super convenient, close to the beautiful beach and everything you need. And the mattress was really comfortable.
