Guest Reviews

- Rosina (8/5): -
- Graham (6/5): Clean and functional, great breakfast. - Clean functional room with an excellent breakfast. Lacked atmosphere but that was because this is an events hotel and this was in a quiet time. Would be happy to stay there again if I had to.
- Francois (8/5): -
- Mickael (8/5): Hotel OK - Hôtel conforme à l’attente, propre et fonctionnel
- Claus (6/5): -
- nicole (5/5): A éviter - Accueil sympathique, personnel à l'écoute, bon petit déjeuner.
- Hugo (7/5): -
- Amata (5/5): Uncomfortable - Shower was on a timer with lasted only few seconds had to press constantly for water very poor Shower
- Alan (7/5): Ok - Clean, friendly staff The photograph is very deceiving as to location. Also disappointed as there was no restaurant as shown on photograph
- David (6/5): - The picture on the hotel website shows the hotel with a sign which says “Hotel Restaurant Brasserie”. This, along with the “free, private parking”, made it appear the ideal location for my single night stay in Lens. When I got there, a Wednesday, the restaurant wasn’t open. I have subsequently looked at the FAQs which state “No, this hotel does not have an on-site restaurant.” There are a number of other restaurants in the street but all were closed that night and generally appear not to be open for evening service. The choice I was left with was either Domino’s Pizza or Friterie Momo. Fortunately, I picked the latter and had one of the best burger and chips I’ve had in years.
The hotel itself is functional although tired and need of a complete refresh. The room was comfortable although the bathroom left a lot to be desired. To get water from the shower you had to press in the heating control. Water then came out for no more than 20 seconds before you had to press it again. That would have been merely inconvenient it I hadn’t had to hold the shower head which would not attach to its hook. No shower gel was provided, luckily I had my own, just the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen. In fact calling it a bar is an exaggeration; sliver would be a more accurate description. Finally, the toilet was very close to a wall. In fact my knees were less than an inch from it. Anyone taller than six foot would have a problem.
The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choice. The par

The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choice. The parking is across the street in a fenced enclosure which appears to be locked at night.
- Family (8/5): Very good - Secure carpark The hotel is not in a nice part of town. The restaurant is closed and the outside has an unkempt appearance
- Robbie (8/5): Very good -
- Davide (2/5): Very poor -
- Simon (3/5): Disappointing, unpleasant and, IMHO, over priced. Reasonable parking though! - Parking. The whole hotel is very tired. The staff disinterested to the point of rudeness. My messages to the hotel prior to arriving still remain unanswered! No food options available or suggestions when asked. Not sure how it ranks at 3 stars. IMHO overpriced.
- Erwin (8/5): Nice stay with friends, all we needed was there! - Private secured parking, clean rooms, warm enough during the freezing temperatures outside when we were there.
- Nicholas (6/5): A good hotel if your stay in Lens is purely to attend the football. - Excellent location for a match at RC Lens. The ground is a few minutes walk way. Secure parking was a bonus. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine. Room was a little small.
- Kazuma (8/5): Very good -
- Welderbeast (5/5): Budget flop house - not really suitable for families, couples or professionals. - Not much, to be honest. The restaurant/bistro was not open in the evening. Instead, jars of preserved food were offered by the receptionist. I walked to the only available alternative, a fritterie/burger bar. The area was not great and poorly lit. Perhaps it's better in the summer, but I stayed in early October and the area was pretty dead at only 7 in the evening.
- Rodney (7/5): Good location and good staff. - Good location - e had two requirements - we wanted to be within walking distance to the Louvre Lens Musée and we wanted secure parking. Both these conditions were met. The hotel was comfortable enough and breakfast was satisfactory. Not much to add here.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Connor (8/5): A great hotel to stay at in Lens! - Location was very good in the city centre of Lens. Clean and comfortable room!
- KOSUKE (6/5): - 安全。
- Martin (10/5): Ideal for the football stadium. - Stayed here overnight as we had tickets for the RC Lens football match. The hotel couldn't be better placed for the stadium. Literally across the stadium car park - which for myself with limited mobility was perfect. Though as a side note, the stadium seating is very steep, and was very difficult for me. Back to the hotel, it's quite big, has a large bar used by the football fans - though not noisy. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was quite small, but clean & tidy. It's only a short walk from the railway station - or 1 stop on the bus.
- Grosman (7/5): Good -
- GIZEM (2/5): - Chambre sale
Inconfortable
- Dominika (9/5): Superb -
Moquette parterre moyennement propre.
- Kelly (7/5): Good -
- Magali (10/5): - Très bien
- Alan (7/5): Good -
- Ashley (6/5): Pleasant - We could bring our dog. Restaurant wasn't open for dinner. Arriving late means we didn't have options for food.
- Antoniomarino88 (8/5): Very good -
- Giovanni (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (7/5): A little disappointed but it served a purpose. - Parking was good, the room was average. We did not experience the breakfast but it looked reasonable. The room was quite small and the walls were fairly thin and transmitted noise fairly easily. There was no English speaking news or other channels available on the TV. Lens town centre was disappoointing.
- Wayne (3/5): Great location , that’s about the only positive thing I can say !! - Good location Shocking showers
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Jahedur (7/5): Good - Close to station and the stadium Too expensive for the level of hotel it is and the facilities.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (8/5): Value for money - Clean Breakfast
- Greg (9/5): basic but clean. Good for business travel - Parking in secure compound very close to hotel. Rooms basic but fine. Bathroom could do with updating
- Michael (6/5): It’s sort of nowhere, but the staff were very nice. You really have to drive into Lens for dinner. -
- Audrey (10/5): Exceptional - Great parking and super evening meal
- Cynthia (6/5): Pleasant - Cleam room and bathroom.
Welcoming staff. Extremely nosy road, very hot if window closed, no airco.
Flushing toilet not in perfect using order, lacking pressure.
- Clark (5/5): Functional and clean - Clean and comfortable bed, room had all basic necessities Long dark corridors, noisy if window open for air, few facilities in the hotel with nothing much around
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Stefanie (8/5): Very good - The hotel is nice and has a large parking lot. The location is ok and you can even walk to the center in about 20-30 min if you want to. The rooms where clean (and big enough for 2 people), the staff friendly and breakfast was nice and fresh (even though not a huge selection). For a hotel of this size I was not expecting that the staff at the reception does not speak a single word in English; however, I somehow I can't/ don't want to make this a negative point, just something to keep in mind :-)
- Anabela (9/5): Superb -
- JEAN LUC (2/5): Mauvais choix - Hotel surchauffé....
Pas de climatisation.....
Mendier pour une bouteille d 'eau .
Hors de prix +150€ pour une nuit blanche.
LENS plus jamais !
- Stephen (8/5): Excellent value for money. - Breakfast was excellent and easy to access. Hotel was very relaxing especially the lounge area.staff were very helpful and friendly. There should have been a bath mat in the bath as it was very slippery.
- Huckle (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (10/5): Convenient and good value for a stopover - Breakfast excellent
Staff really helpful
- Jayne (8/5): Very good - Very good breakfast
- Michael (5/5): Passable - It was ok. nothing special. breakfast was poor and pricey for what you got.
- Anabela (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (7/5): Basic, clean accomodation. Good value if you need to be in the stadion area. - Basic room, but clean. Bathroom also clean. Good bed, and when I was there, it was very quiet. Very close to the stadion. Nothing specific
- Derek (4/5): Disappointing -
- Robert (8/5): excellent for central location and value - position close to the Bollaert stadium nothing
- Agnes (9/5): Superb -
- Dwight (8/5): Very good -

- Thomas (8/5): Good stay in front of Bollaertqm - Friendly staff
Confortable bed The breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is
- Paul (10/5): convenient comfort near the autoroute and the town centre - the staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was delicious nothing
- Anonymous (8/5): perfect place to stay when watching RC Lens FC! - Location excellent. Atmosphere fun. Very hot at night (no air conditioning) and room basic
- Jon (8/5): Very good - Great location for the football
- Paul (8/5): pleasant stay - really close to the RC lens football ground nothing
- ALAIN (8/5): - Bon accueil.
- Michelle (10/5): - Tres bon accueil
Aucun probleme
Merci
- JulMax24 (8/5): Good all-in-one for business travel - Good clean hotel, the only person at reception in the evening really went above and beyond to sort out all my needs, checking in, restaurant order and taxi booking for the next morning.
The restaurant itself was also very nice, with fancy scallops as a starter and a hearty homemade burger for mains.
- JH (8/5): Goed voor kort verblijf - Het hotel was open ondanks covid.
Ontbijt goed verzorgd. Goede maatregelen.
- h_konh644 (2/5): Even after french standards, this must be a regional low - Sat down in the restaurant, and after being ignored by the waiters for 10 minutes, we finally received a menu. After trying to order for the 20 following minutes, we were informed that the kitchen was closed. The restaurant was half-full.
- Sarascarbs (2/5): Very bad service - After waiting for 30 min, told us there is no food left and we can’t order, slow service and they do not speak any English. Food price is also high for a very small amount. Food quality is ok but nothing special.
- cherylr609 (2/5): Nice enough room but that’s about it - We arrived to what looked like a derelict hotel but upon closer inspection there were some lights on. The room was small but practical and the best thing about it was that they had BBC1 & BBC2 on the TV. The shower was a different matter. It was so low down that even I struggled to use it and I’m only 5 foot tall. Luckily we were only here for a night whilst passing through on our way back to the UK and didn’t sample the restaurant. If you’re going to the football this hotel is ideal, otherwise think again.
