• JOHN (6/5): Ok accommodations but far from outstanding - Good parking No elevator. we didn’t know it until checking in. 2nd floor with no elevator was not an option. It was a a first floor option or we were out of there

• Jill (9/5): Nice hotel convenient to small town mother lives in - Nice hotel close to my mom’s house which is kind of a tall order. Close to some good restaurants as well. Being surrounded by farms the whole town smells like cow 💩 It’s this cute little lake town in the middle of nowhere Iowa and I’m sure people who are local don’t even notice it anymore but it does take away from the atmosphere.

• Dan (10/5): - Excellent room, noticeably better than most hotels -- a bit bigger, better condition, nicer beds, just all-around higher quality than most. Very clean. And maybe it was just the nice weather, but when the AC unit came on, it generally only had to stay on briefly, and then it was quiet again for a long time -- and it stayed very comfortable. It was also quite a bit quieter than most other hotels. Plus, on the ground floor, the rooms have patio doors opening right by the parking lot, which makes it easier to load and unload. On top of that, you can go out the back door and are only about 30' from the door of the bar & grill next door, which has good food, drinks, and service. I truly wish all hotels were this nice!

I know the lake had Ecoli. Loved that there was a fire pit we used on our first night. The rooms were clean and neat. The restaurant next door had great food to eat!
• kellyhT4821KF (10/5): Favorite Weekend Getaway - We stay at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites nearly every year in June. We come into town for a family reunion. We love staying here. The beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is great, the available breakfast is good, & the customer service is always top notch. The "cherry on top" extras are when we can get a room that faces the lake, & when we can make the time to enjoy dinner at the restaurant directly behind the hotel. This is an appreciated convenience & the food is great.

I don’t think there are many motels in the area so this was ok.it was a newer hotel. There’s a small lake next to it. No restaurants nearby. It was quiet. Bed was good but difficult for a short or elderly person to get into.

I hope you have somebody that good in all your hotels. The view was terrific and the sheets were clean and breakfast was good.

Its so convenient and the staff are very nice. We stay here every time we are in town. They also have a dock just for Cobblestone guest.

• Sarah (9/5): Superb - The hotel was so clean, and comfortable and located in a nice quiet area of the lake. The breakfast was wonderful and nicely presented. We slept like rocks in the king bed. The mattress on the pull out couch was very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. We would recommend getting new mattresses for these. Also, a fan or some sort of air in the bedroom would be nice.

The shower was hot and the new bulk shampoo,body gel and conditioner was perfect . We will return to this hotel when in Lakeview
• Boo913 (6/5): Okay considering - This hotel was pretty much in the boonies instead of in town as I expected. It was clean and staff friendly. There is a construction site adjacent to the hotel and surprisingly with all the work going and noise the room was rather quiet. A good value for an overnight stay while traveling through.

• Caroline (8/5): Nice hotel in very rural area. - This is a nice little hotel (2 stories, no elevator) in a very small town next to a lake. There is also a good restaurant literally next to the hotel that I highly recommend. Hotel breakfast is fine. The fitness center is just one small room with a treadmill and elliptical. The lake is beautiful but otherwise there is not much else in the area. We stayed here because we were travelling to Storm Lake, IA for an event (about 30 minutes away).

The shower was amazing had a nice pressure as if you were at home. Only thing is if you go during the colder months. The hotel does not have a pool. Something I over looked and had 2 disappointed kids.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. Check in was easy, staff were very friendly, and hotel was clean. No complaints would stay again in I had business in the area.

• MarshaS793 (10/5): Great hotel with a view. - A nice hotel with a beautiful view of the lake. We stayed lakeside and had a walkout to the lake, with a picnic table just outside the door. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hot breakfast in the morning was excellent. All the people that worked the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. There is a very nice restaurant next door.

The only problem was when my cousin wanted to buy a bottle of water with a two dollar bill. The desk clerk said she couldn’t take a two dollar bill! My cousin had to use her debit card to make $1.50 transaction! A two dollar bill is legal tender as far as I know.
