Nothing fancy but absolutely fair for the price-point. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which is a precious commodity in Europe LOL About 15 minutes walking from Santa Maria Novella train station and 15 from the Basilica and major tourist attractions. It is a 3rd floor walk-up, that was the only downside.

Me han pedido mas de tasa de ciudad que anunciado al primer contacto (por el pretexto que habia aumentado) (??? verdad o no, no lo se, hay que verificar), es una guesthouse no un hotel. La ubicacion muy buena entre la estacion de trenes y el centro. Un poco ruidoso de los otros viajeros y de la calle. algunos consejor bastante buenos del poprietario. Bien para lo que estabamos esperando.

Only complaint is the pillow was super uncomfortable as it didn't bend or move at all and the mini fridges were never stocked so I had to drink bathroom tap water one night. • Verified traveler (8/5): Nice location - The hotel has a good location with a beautiful view of the old city. While not inside the center of town, it has a good location with a wide open view. It even has an open area where you can have your meals while taking in the scenery. They serve good breakfast too.The staff were very pleasing and helpful. Try to book ahead for the restaurant, Tartufo, just below the reception area.
• Beatriz Bristotti (10/5): Bom bonito e barato ! - Nós adoramos!! Lugar super aconchegante, limpo, bem frequentado e bem localizado, e o serviço de quarto é feito todos os dias. O proprietário é super simpático e nos recebeu super bem deu ótimas dicas de como andar na cidade, o que fazer e onde comer.. com guia e descontos :) ele fala muito bem o inglês . É um guest house bem estruturado que não deixa a desejar. No quarto A cama é confortável tem armários, aquecedor, cobertas extra, apoio p malas, poltrona, mesa, cadeira, secador para roupas (para nós foi uma mão na roda) e frigobar. e mesmo não tendo uma cozinha ou sala de refeições na recepcao há máquina de café e frigobar tudo com preço bem justo e microondas e ebulidor à disposição para quem queira usar. Ponto negativo : fica no segundo andar e não tem elevador, para quem tem algum problema de mobilidade ou malas muito grandes, isso dificulta um pouco. Outro ponto é o box de banho que e alto e um pouco perigoso, precisa do auxílio de um chinelo. Nada diferente das fotos que vimos, e o serviço surpreendeu

• Verified traveler (2/5): Altmodisches, schäbiges Gästehaus - Sehr einfache, billige Ausstattung der Zimmer. Eine Toilette für 6 Gästezimmer mit integrierter Dusche. Unsere Duschkabine und ein Waschbecken waren im Zimmer. kein separates Bad. Die Farbe an Wand und Decke blätterte teilweise ab. Ansprechpartner am Empfang nur stundenweise da. Kein Aufzug, nur enge steile Treppe.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Basic hotel that does the job - The room was quite small but that doesn't matter too much. We had booked a shared bathroom and had a very large sink and a shower in our room which was nice. You only had to leave to go down the hall to use the toilet. Everything was kept moderately clean, and rooms were cleaned every day. The beds were comfortable and it felt like there was air conditioning on when we first got there, but after that it kept getting less and less and it was scorching hot in there. The wifi was good. The location was pretty convenient. Only about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and 15 to the Duomo. It was located in an iffy part of town though, but once you were in the building it was fine. It's located on the top floor so there are a lot of stairs to walk up. The service was good, but he is not there 24 hours, so if you want something you must call or wait for him to show up. Overall it was a good value but I would probably not book again.

Hostellin isäntä oli todella ystävällinen ja oli ilo huomata kuinka huone oli siistitty uusia lakanoita myöten joka kerta kun päivän päätteksi palasimme sinne. Huoneemme oli tilava ja siellä oli oma suihku ja lavuaari/hana peileineen mikä oli hyvä, miinuksena koleahko ilma huoneessa - onneksi kaapista löytyi reippaasti lämpimiä vilttejä pitämään vierailijat lämpiminä!
• Bart (6/5): Cosy place for not much money - Overall, quite a good stay. The keeper, Simone, very nice guy who's always keen to help. This is not a hotel; I'd say it's a guesthouse. Rooms don't have toilets, just showers. The whole place is located in a rather aged building that needs some work undeniably.Very good location - everywhere you can easily get on foot, 15 mins walking to the main train station and within 20-25 mins majority of sights or museums can be reached. I will definitely recommend this place if you are happy to stay in a place with no stars. No frills guesthouse for a reasonable price:)

M n istasyonuna da çok yakın. Eşyalarınızı otele bırakıp hemen aynı gün gezmeye başlayabilirsiniz. Otelin önünde otobüs durağı da var. Arno nehrinin öteki tarafında kalan yerleri gezmek isterseniz bu duraktan otobüse binebilirsiniz. Otel sahibi güleryüzlü ve şehir hakkındaki sorularınız olursa şayet çok yardımcı oluyor. Ancak kendisi sadece belirli saatlerde orada olduğundan, otele çok erken ya da çok geç saatlerde check-in yapacaksanız bunu mutlaka önceden rezervasyon sırasında bildirin. Yoksa kapıda kalırsınız. Odamızın tek kötü özelliği ana caddeye bakmasıydı ve caddede saat farkı olmaksızın araç trafiği nedeniyle ses vardı. Ses nedeniyle uykuya geçmeye zorlanabilirsiniz.
• Meagan (4/5): Decent - We didn't realize we had to make arrangements in order to check-in just know that when you do this you have to call the guy or email him in order to let him know when you will show up otherwise you'll stand on the corner and wait for them after having to make an international call, there was nothing but sheets on the bed no blankets and the air conditioner apparently leak so badly we weren't allowed to turn it on but otherwise very nice little b&b and the gentleman running it was very polite.

• Cler (4/5): Affittacamere un po' troppo rumoroso.. - Ho prenotato per una notte pensando fosse un B&B, ma una volta arrivata ho scoperto essere un affittacamere. Si trova sulla strada e non abbiamo dormito tutta notte per il rumore delle auto. Il bagno è in comune per tutte le stanze, l'unica cosa che avevamo nella nostra stanza è la doccia e un lavandino (essendo la camera molto ampia si potrebbe ricavare benissimo un angolo per il bagno).

Fairly central, about 15 minute walk to train station and major sights. Street noise wasn't as bad as I thought especially with windows closed.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Super séjour - Super séjour à Florence. Nous étions situé à 15 min des attraits touristiques. Seul point négatif, c'est qu'il n'y avait pas d'air climatisé (nous étions en pleine canicule Européenne il faut savoir).
• Vontrese (8/5): Simple, clean place - Great place to stay! The host is extremely friendly, room was clean and simple. Shower clogging was the only problem, otherwise everything was great! I had a heavy backpack so had a hard time walking from the train to the hotel so I cabbed on the way back - just keep that in mind if you have a heavy bag.

• Bing (8/5): Great place for a sweet dream - Simone was a good dude. Very good service. Had body wash, but no shampoo. Helped change towels daily. Shower situation was a little weird with the shower and sink in the room and no curtains. Room was spacious. Location was good as long as you don't mind a 10 min walk to city center/train station.
• Jessica A (10/5): Great choice! - Booked the last minute special on a busy night. Great facilities-clean, comfortable and very cute! Manager was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us call restaurants, get a taxi, etc. The location was a little out of the way from the main portion of Florence but even including the price of a taxi to and from the main area we still saved money and had a great experience. Just a heads up too that there is not an elevator but the manager happily carried our heavy bags up the three flights of stairs.

• jess (10/5): cozy and convenient - We arrived on a rare, rainy, midsummer morning, and because we had already booked our tickets for the Uffizi for another day, we wanted to visit another museum to dodge the rain. The hotel manager/owner was extremely helpful; he recommended the Bargello, and even called ahead to check if reservations were needed. This hospitality sums up our happy experience here: very kind, helpful service, and more of a cozy bnb rather than a hotel. It's about a 15~20 minute walk from the train station and the Duomo in the opposite direction. Highly recommended guesthouse!
