• John (10/5): Friendly staff and good location - I ended up staying at the Greguar Hotel, where the key pick-up location was. The room had everything you need - a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen, a normal hotel bathroom, and a washing machine - good for long and short term stays. Very friendly staff and good internet. The hotel is a block from the metro and very near the main train station and main bus station - a quick taxi ride away.

Somehow difficult to locate but the host gives you a detailed explanation on how to get there so you don't get lost. Overall great experience with this property.

• Andrew (8/5): Modern, Central, WiFi could be better - Centrally located. Modern interior. Cleaned upon request. Refrigerator and other amenities are available. The WiFi connection constantly drops, but there are plenty of nearby cafes to use the Internet. Would overall recommend but just be sure to manage expectations.

Lift broke down on second day so having to climb up and down 5 floors of steep old stairs didn't help. Only for I had a ukrainan friend with me to call the apartment I wouldn't of found the apartment as it's hidden. But overall and okay stay

• Tom Henning (10/5): Fint rom i stille omgivelser midt i sentrum. - Med utgangspunkt i at dette er et apartment hotel, og ikke helt hotel standard, så var rommet helt topp. Beliggenheten var midt i sentrum, og litt inn en sidegate, så det var kort avstand og stille, trygt og godt. Det som trekker litt ned, er at det er slitt og gammel trappegang, og heisen er liten og virket bare ca 50%. Det er ikke resepsjon der, men i øverste etage "bodde" personalet. Det var bare å rope navnet hennes i gangen, så fikk du hjelp. Om hun ikke skjønte helt hva det var, ringte hun sjefen sin som snakker utmerket Engelsk. Alt i alt, et helt topp sted å bo.

• Mickael (6/5): Bon appartement - Bon appartement spacieux, très difficile à trouver si l on ne connaît pas Kiev. Par contre très bien situé, 5 mins de marche de la place de l indépendance et le métro. La réception ne parle pas anglais, courage. Appeler avant d arriver car une personne au standard comprend l anglais.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Above average apartments - Located within walking distance of the center of Kiev (Khrestatyk & Maidan Nezalezmosti) so it was super convenient for traveling around Kiev. The hotel gave me a free room upgrade, so I ended up with a full apartment plus an extra loft area with extra sleeping area. In room washer and dryer, full kitchen, located near supermarkets, so it had everything I needed. Wi-Fi was very good. The only drawback is that the entrance is hard to find from the main street (Mikhailovska), but that is minor because you can follow the yellow painted signs on the street to reach the entrance.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value apartment near Maidan - Good value and good location, although initially hard to find , maybe the directions should be made clearer on the site since the entrance is not from the main street and there are 2 doors with the same number. Flat is simple but in good condition and clean, only small problem was the shower bracket a bit faulty. Service was very good and they reply quickly to all questions
• Ellu (6/5): Nice hotel close to city center - It was a nice hotel close to the city center, only 5 minutes walk to Globus mall. We had some problems with the shower in one room, and the bed was broken in the other room, and we didn´t get any refill on soaps during the stay, so we went empty. Except that, we had a really nice time at the hotel.
• Del (8/5): - Stayed for 8 days while visiting a friend. First issue, which is pretty common so not really an issue, was finding the hotel with the taxi driver. There is a gold sign hanging on the small side street that the apartment building is on, but the actual building is set farther back around a corner. Recommend using Uber both to and from the airport. Checkin was fine, but had to wait 15 min for room to be cleaned, which it was. Full kitchen with microwave, gas range and big fridge. IF you want to save money you can try cooking yourself, but remember to bring a lighter or matches to light the range. I did not have any, so didn't bother. The room I had was the one with the loft pictured. This upper area has a nice sized bed, but low ceiling. Also, water pipes can be heard if there is someone located on the floor above. Like many places, finding a outlet that will hold your international adapter in place is tricky. The wall outlets for the most part would not hold mine adequately enough to charge my gear. I had to unplug the DVD player from the power strip on the floor and use that. Also keep in mind that the elevator is old, and only responds to one floor button being pressed. So don't try and jump in if someone else is going up to a different floor. Finally, the main road leading up to the building is sloped, so be prepared if you are walking with luggage.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay...do your homework! - The front staff was touch and go.Sometimes there was someone there, sometimes there wasn't. It didn't affect my stay...though people who don't speak Russian, aren't familiar with Kiev, or don't know how to use google maps might find it difficult. Great location! Great place to stay!
• Fred (8/5): Good situated appartement in the center of Kiev. - Our experience was very positive. The appartement was very (well kept) clean and spacious with enough equipement (airconditioning/satellite television/Internet/magnetron/refrigerator/water boiler/hair dryer/iron(-ing board)/was machine). There were only too few pans and plates in the kitchen but there are enough reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. The personel was very friendly and helpfull although the language is fairly restricted to Ukranian (or sometimes Russian). Every day the appartement was cleaned and organized. The elevator is still from the Sovjet era. The location of the appartement is excellent.

• Jonas (6/5): Prisvärt men egentligen ingen höjdare - Svårt att hitta, obefintlig service, men ren och rymlig lägenhet. Lite ofräscht badrum.
• never again (2/5): waste of money - The staff didnt open the door, was propably sleeping, water pressure was poor, and first just cold water. When complained about this, the answer was that just think it's ok to use cold. There was no instructions for using the safe, staff didnt know how to use, neither Did the manager. Then they gave all keys for all safes in the place. Same money can get a decent hotel from the area, dont go here.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Ok room, but I wouldn't stay here again. - I was told there was a 24 hour reception, there wasn't. I arrived late at night, and had to wait in the cold for 30 minutes before the housekeeper (who lives on site, I guess) let me in the door. It was in a dark and narrow alley, so obviously I was a bit worried about my safety, especially being so late at night. When I wanted to check out and have reception call a cab, the door to the reception area was locked and I spent 15 minutes knocking with no response before asking someone else to call my cab (since I couldn't speak Ukranian/Russian) and just left my keys in the room, without checking out. All this to say, my time was not great. The room was fine, but not worth the hassle.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good alternative to the traditional hotels - Practical location, close to Maidan. The apartments are facing away from the street, so noise was not a problem at all.
• Udo (6/5): Sauber , aber Gebäude im Bauzustand - Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral, nicht leicht zu finden da nicht an der Hauptstraße. Treppenhaus und Aufzug in schlechtem (Baustellen) Zustand, Appartement geräumig, Hellhörig, Gespräche und Fernseher konnten von Nachbarn nachts mitgehört werden. Der Wasserdruck bei der Dusche im 6. Stock war spärlich, Wifi gut. Alles in allem für den Preis und Lage ok.
• Nausheen (4/5): - The wifi did not work. There is a number you are supposed to call incase if trouble- it didn't work. There was zohoje in the room- it didn't work. I had left my luggage and when I came back I ran the door bell for reception to get in the building for 10 mins and no one replied. Someone let me in the building and then the reception was locked. I knocked multiple doors on multiple floors and coukd not find the lady. Another person in building helped me find her. Also called the hotel number multiple times and no one answered. I barely made my flight.
• AK (8/5): スタッフの方はとても親切でした - 部屋はとても綺麗で快適です。 ボイラーの不調で、長くお湯が出なかったこと以外は、トラブルも無く良かったです。 立地も良く、スタッフさんはとても親切で優しかったです。 すぐ近くにスーパーやカフェもあるので便利です。
• Naim (4/5): Kold brusse bad hver dag.... - Problemer med det varme vand, de fleste af dagene skulle man bade i kold vand.. af dagene var der slet ikke noget vand at tage bad indtil kl 11:00 formiddag. Telefonen til receptionen fungeret ikke, så man skulle hele vejen ned hver gang. Man fik nye håndklæder kun hver 3 dag. Absolut ikke tilfredsstillende.
• JUN HU (6/5): Weird,,but good location... - this hotel is located in a weird..but a good place, it can easily access to the main street, it takes around 20 mins to Arena City by walk. and the actual hotel is totally different from the pics here.....
• Axel (10/5): - Incredible value for money. We (2 people) were surprised to find a spacious apartment with 2 double beds and a couch for less than $40. Great location, but required a few minutes of uphill walking.
• Michael (6/5): Zentrale Lage Zimmer ok Zugang gewöhnungsbedürftig - ich habe das Apartment gebucht und es hat sich jemand gemeldet, ob ich vom Flughafen abgeholt werden wollte. Da ich mich um den Transfer schon vorher gekümmert hatte, brauchte ich diesen nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Fand das Angebot aber trotzdem gut. Hotel ist etwas übertrieben. Die Rezeption befindet sich in der 4 Etage die Apartments in der 5. und 6. Etage. Bis zur 5. Etage kann man einen abenteuerlichen Fahrstuhl benutzen, der während meines 4 tägigen Aufenthalts aber 2 Tage außer Betrieb war. Das Treppenhaus ist mehr ein Rohbau. Wenn man das die Rezeption gefunden hat wird man erst mal zu Kasse gebeten. Nach bisher gesehen wollte ich mir erst mal das Zimmer ansehen, war dann aber positiv überrascht. Grundsätzlich war das Personal sehr freundlich und auch sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Bad sah so aus wie auf dem Foto leider war der Wasserdruck beim Duschen nicht besonders hoch. Wer also mal die Whirlpool Wanne benutzen will, braucht etwas Zeit. Das Zimmer hat einen Safe und wurde auch regelmäßig gereinigt. Was mir sehr gut gefiel war, dass man es mit der Abreisezeit nicht so genau nahm. So konnte ich bis 14.00 das Zimmer noch nutzen. Der freie WLAN Zugang funktionierte übrigens auch einwandfrei. Da das Apartment recht zentral liegt, man im Grunde ungestört ein und ausgehen kann, und alles was mir wichtig ist gut funktioniert würde ich das Apartment erneut wieder buchen!
• John (6/5): holiday - Room was great other then the hot water and lack of shower curtain. Hot water lasted like 3 minutes tops and the floor was soaked because no curtain. Great location and staff.
• Bruce (8/5): Kiev stay - Had a great stay, the location of the apartments is fantastic! Walking distance to everything you need and if you enjoy walking you will have plenty of choices of places to explore, cafes to try and excursions to join. The rooms have aren't the most modern but have a good kitchen, bathroom, QS bed plus extra beds if you have guests. I will return for sure.
• Robert (8/5): In central Kiev, - Was a nice stay, staff was great, not a lot of hot water, and the Internet wasn't the greatest but worked pretty well, the only complaint isn't in the control of the staff, residents of the building would smoke in the stairwell. Room was small but didn't need a big room when going out to see the city. Staff was top notch, room was alway clean. Look forward to going back next year.

Recommend it! - with a close 5 minute walk to independence square, it is very convenient. the staff is very helpful. rooms are very modern and clean. it is not rated higher right now because old ratings were before they modernised the rooms. Most importantly, it's highly secure.
• Verified traveler (6/5): The Little Apartment Hotel That Could - This is an Apartment Building with the word hotel thrown in. It is an older building stuffed into space behind other buildings. It is down a long narrow road and hard to find if you are not a local. But that is a good thing once you get there. It is very quiet 98% of the time. There is a private school or preschool next to the building, so If you do not mind little kids screaming and running around in their play area for an hour or two you are fine. The outside of the building is rough. Some parts of the inside of the building is rough as well. The one bedroom apartment I rented was remodeled and very clean. The cleaning staff was exceptional in their hustle to get everything the way I wanted it. The elevator (lift) was temper mental. If you do not speak Ukrainian or Russian then it is a fun game of of Google translate and hand gestures. All in all, the staff of this unit tried very hard to make my stay memorable. If you are used to traveling to hotels with multilingual employees and all services at your finger tips then this place is not for you. If you like an adventure then I say this place is your style.

• Jamie (8/5): Great little boutique hotel for great price - Great hotel. Great staff. Elevator a little scary but worked most of the times. Walls a little thin and could hear the drunk in the hall but with only 1 other room in our area it happened only one time. Hotel is in quiet out of the way area so taxis can take some time to find it but it is close enough to walk to the city center and all other attractions so unless it is raining or you need to go to the airport or train station you will not need a taxi. I will for sure stay there again.

• Ari (8/5): Close to the Square - It is alarming at first when you arrive as there are no clear indication of where the apartments are. You press the intercom and you get a person saying to come up to the 5th floor. It all seem a bit off, but once you settle in your apartment, which is quiet nice and comfortable, and then take a stroll through the neighborhood. You will realize that it is worth the price you are paying.
• JACEK (10/5): - Świetna lokalizacja, ale słabo oznakowane dojście. Z zewnątrz tragedia ale apartamenty w środku OK - zaskakują na plus wielkością i prywatnością (odrębne mieszkania z kuchnią, przedpokojem). Miłym zaskoczeniem było też wyposażenie w pralkę, mikrofalówkę i inne akcesoria. Lokalizacja bardzo cicha i spokojna pomimo że hostel znajduje się w ścisłym centrum.
• Vera (8/5): Perfekt läge och fräscht rum - Mitt i Kiev, men beläget en liten bit från de trafikerade vägarna vilket gjorde rummet tyst och trivsamt. För en gångs skull stämde bilderna överens med verkligheten, alltså modernt och fräscht.
• Sven (2/5): Nicht zu empfehlen! - Leider war das reservierte Zimmer anderweitig vergeben! So das wir ein anderes Hotel suchen mussten.

• Thomas (8/5): Lovely apartment, good value, excellent location - The apartment is in a great location - a little hard to find initially but in reality off the main street and so very quiet. I was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned the apartment every 2 days. I was unpleasantly surprised to come back one evening to find no electricity in the building. It remained off for 8-10 hours with no explanation ever offered. Staff was courteous and friendly.
