McCann (7/5): - I found the room very comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no coffee or shampoo in the room, and the room was not made up during the day. However, they also offered the room at $75 a night. Which is tough enough for a hotel to do these days and make any money. Something has to give. I get that. It was very clean, comfortable and quite. I enjoyed my stay. I also liked that there was an IHOP literally a one minute walk away for breakfast and my morning coffee. Can't think of anything.

Swimming pool was closed. Cougar Zoo near motel 6 was very disappointed… Don’t spend your time and money. All animals were sleeping and very little variety: birds, 3 lions, 3 wolves, 4 deers, several monkeys and 4 turtles with lot of shit in their section …. for $18/each entry admission???

The bed was very hard, it was extremely noisy, the sink was cracked, there was no bathtub, only a half shower, the floors were coming apart, and the worst...the smoke alarm started going off at 6 am to indicate a low battery. Side tables with lights and computer ports and electrical plugs, big bonus. The front desk person was great. He welcomed me in, handled the check-in quickly, verified my room request (queen size bed rather than two doubles). Most importantly, he looked at me while talking, not looking down at the computer or counter, and asked if there was anything I needed before thanking me for staying at the hotel and wishing me pleasant evening. Wish the shower had been larger, but this building is older and not really acceptable to changing room size.

When I arrived, after they charged me (via Booking) and checked me in they let me know that they didn't actually have a room with all of those amenities. I said that was unacceptable and they checked me out but neither Motel 6 nor Booking offered me a refund. This was a month ago and Booking customer support still hasn't resolved the issue.

The room was freezing cold and could not be warmed as the whole building was operating on the same cooling system. Front desk staff gave us a heater. There were no extra blankets available. Bed and sheets were uncomfortable. There were NO ammenities except a bar of soap and towels. We had to ask front desk for a hair dryer. The bathroom outlet didn't work so I had to dry my hair by the front door. The room was not very clean and it was barren.

I extended my stay for a night and was accommodated easily making the process smooth. Room perfectly clean. Only said 9/10 not 10/10 because life would've been easier with a kettle in the room but I understand cost wise why not. Loved the location being walkable to a great park. There's noise from the road but it's a motel, it's supposed to be by a road:)

Ciara S (8/5): Clean rooms and musty smells - Great customer service and the room had been remodeled to be modern. Room was very clean. Flooring was warped. It smelled musty and I am mold sensitive so that was not good. That said, I found if I ran the air conditioning it cleared the smell a bit and I could tolerate it. Loud construction noise started in the parking lot at 8 AM and was endless noise all morning that was loud in my room. Hard to rest. Overall great place to stay for the price if you don’t mind a place that looks clean but smells musty. Bring your earplugs.
