• Jill (5/5): okay for one night - location bathroom faucet needed repair, no hair dryer, no tissue, no breakfast, $200 for one night!
• Nicholas (5/5): Motel 6 - Quick check in Very basic room, mold on the ceiling and stains on the sheets. No coffee or tea facilities in the room.
• Trudy (6/5): It was okay and dog areas are nice. - The location is great and the facilities are wondering for potting your dog. The outside is well lit, which adds a sense of security. I didn’t like seeing so many homeless people in the back parking lot. There was a pickup truck overflowing with stuff that made the back looked rundown and made you question the security.

• Jeff (10/5): Great staff, ok facility. - The front desk person AJ was very helpful and pleasant. He went out of his way to help me out. When I woke up in the morning my whole body was itchy. The fan unit blew stinky air.

• Elizabeth (5/5): - It was nice but there was no spot to smoke at and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was dirt in the bed under the “clean blankets”. It was fine for the most part I do wish they had coffee makers in the rooms and that the dog area was a bit better. Also when I first got there me and my spouse seen drugs on the ground outside of our room door luckily I was holding my dog and he was able to move it.

• Bianca (4/5): If you’re in a bind it’s a safe place to sleep for one night only. - It’s a motel but it seemed like there are some permanent residents there. It seemed safe and staff was nice. It was outdated. Our rooms smelled like mold and cigarettes. The towels are old and rough.

• Mark (8/5): - This property was a little better than the typical Motel 6 because it has a nice outdoor pool, but it’s still pretty basic, which is what I expect from Motel 6. My room and the grounds were very clean and the night clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was a bit worn but everything worked and the bed was comfy. Bonus: There’s a Denny’s across the parking lot. It’s close to the highway, which made it very noisy, so don’t forget your earplugs.

They have a pool which was also clean and with plenty of chairs, tables, umbrellas and recliners available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Area had some homeless living in cars. Right on Highway 99 but noise is okay on the none freeway side of the building (rooms 220-225).

Front desk called to see if we were able to connect to the wi-fi and that the room was up to our liking. Dennys was just across the parking lot so lots of great food was eaten....the area was nice ....highly recommend this location!!!! Will stay here again....

• Kelli (5/5): Passable - Was my hometown while growing up! 1962 until 1980 and then back again from 1989 until 2000. Loved Chico! Chico has really gone downhill. Lots of shady people wandering around or parking in the motel lot. Watched a drug deal go on while sitting in the Dennys next to the motel!

The grounds were well kept and landscaped. Everything was clean. The room was quiet and cool. The surroundings did not feel unsafe and food was close by. Well worth the price.

The floor looked a bit dirty, the towels were very small and looked old and one looked so grey like it was also used for cleaning The shower is so small. The people smoking outside, one person was in her suv with loud music while smoking.

The bathroom floor n door was dirty. The mirrors were like someone put their dirty hands on it. It was only a place that was convenient at the time. We cleaned the floor the bathroom, mirrors the microwave n refrigerator. It had a smell that would gag you. There were people yelling at each other in the parking lot. Working on a vehicle in the parking lot. I would be embarrassed to have owned or ran a motel that bad.

• Stephanus (1/5): No sleep - There was a crowd of young people gathering since midnight outside with no regard as to other people trying to sleep. The manager had to be dragged out of her office at 2 o'clock in the morning to come and silence them. Sleep was over for me as some of them came out every now and again so that she had to come silence them again. The crowd formed because of their smoking habit that are allowed outside the rooms. Never again will I stay there or recommend anyone to stay there.
• Tawnya (1/5): Definitely not worth money but how sad this is the cheapest - We usually don’t have issues with Motel 6 as it’s usually clean and offers the basics of what we need and this is usually where we stay when in town however this one room was not up to par. I also went to check out and it took forever for staff to come into reception area as he was somewhere else probably working in back? I told him that they need pest control. He didn’t seem interested in caring and never did apologize but considering his young age they never do. Bed was terribly old so extremely uncomfortable. And in the morning there were cockroaches crawling around room and bathroom. YUCK!!!

The rooms were nice and clean, which was a plus. The manager was also very friendly and helpful. The price is good for what you get. Although the rooms were clean, there was a strong odor of weed. Despite me bringing my own air freshener from home, the smell lingered. I was in a non-smoking room too so it was very annoying.

• Hairo (6/5): Pleasant - Helpful staff, very easy check in, lots of rooms and parking next to places to eat and to the freeway entrance. You can tell they work to keep things clean. The smell of nicotine was heavy in the room. It kind of sticks to you. That's not the establishment's fault so much as it is the people who stay there and choose to smoke inside.

Room was clean just for a few details, my wife found some long gray hairs on the bed and the shower has soap scum marks on the wall but those are minor details, what I really don't like is the noise of the freeway, this place is oriented to it and the noise somehow is loud during the traffic hours. Good staying place.
• Verified traveler (6/5): I'm going somewhere else next time - The room smelled like a mixture of syrup and isopropyl alcohol. The bathroom was not clean. The towels were threadbare and the bed was lumpy. Also it was very noisy outside.

Located very conveniently within short drives of many restaurants, events, and parks. There was a gap between the door and seal, letting in quite a bit of freeway noise. The staff said they are in the middle of a seal replacement in the whole place so this shouldn't be an issue for long.
• Shannon (7/5): Average Motel 6 - It was clean and comfortable and not too much noise. Location was great and there's a Denny's next to it. It had a refrigerator/freezer. We stayed in room 121 and the toilet is NOT attached to the floor. If you lean, it starts to tip!

No shampoo or conditioner. No coffee maker though there is a post in the front office. HVAC was difficult to understand and use. Had to kill a cockroach.
