• Holly (3/5): - Rooms are renovated and clean. Check in was handled by a remote worker at a kiosk. While I can understand the challenges an owner-operator might face in finding an employee for the night shift, replacing that job with someone speaking to me from a tablet halfway across the globe was a mistake. At least allow customers to attempt to check in with an unmanned tablet first and then escalate if there are issues. Even though the hotel already had all of my registration information from the reservation, I was required to walk through scanning my identification and inputting my credit card with this very slow worker. This really made for a terrible experience. Exterior of hotel is rather shabby. Parking was difficult to secure, as all spaces were occupied by customers or big piles of rubble. Pool is covered in rubble and tarp. Highway noise is very present.

• Siri (8/5): great location, great price, will recommend - It was definitely worth the price. Great location, close to the freeway, perfect stop for my road trip It could have been a little cleaner, the bed had one or two strands of hair but otherwise it was very clean.

I did not like the fact that there was a woman that appeared to be in mania or on drugs, running around screaming. My daughter was too scared to get out of the car. My daughter was so afraid that she wanted to go back home and canceled the whole trip because of this one incident. Motel 6 said they would give me my money back, but never did! They refused to send a simple email to Booking.com letting them know they have authorized the refund. They said they did everything they could do on their part and that I should get my refund and even though I called them five or six times and spoke to them letting them know that Booking.com requires them to either answer me and chat or reply to the email, they refuse to and they said they refuse to put it in writing, therefore I could not get my refund. I had to cancel my whole entire trip bc my daughter had a panic attack because of how scary the location was, and I had to drive back to her home two states away (12 hrs) and my two week trip across country was canceled. So, not only did Motel 6 cost me this stay, it cost me about $1000 because we could not continue our journey and I had pre-booked 10 more hotels and not every hotel would allow me to cancel. Then I had to get a flight back home instead of continue driving cross country…. Horrible customer service and they are liars! Don’t believe that this hotel is nice, it’s very ghetto. I would never stay here if I were you. Pay another 20 or 30 bucks and go somewhere nicer. Home2 Suites was only 20 more bucks and they didn’t charge us a pet fee either! They also had a delicious free breakfast so it was worth it! I wish I would’ve booked them to begin with, but I didn’t that they weren’t going to charge me a fee for the pet.

• MEvans22 (10/5): My stay at the Motel 6-West Sacramento was very peaceful. - I had an amazing stay at this hotel with nothing to complain about. I especially liked the area where the hotel was located, as it was very convenient to the freeway. Honestly, I liked everything about my stay. The Motel 6-West Sacramento provided a wonderful experience, and I was genuinely happy with it. I’m already planning to return soon.
• melissa (10/5): You asked... - I like the convenience, location, the staff are all great so far. I stay a week at a time every week and I have zero complaints. Well kept and managed. I would have liked to be able to use the pool. Other than that, oh and I feel like there could be better weekly rates for people who work all day and just sleep. We don't use up any power, water, any other amenities , until we come back shower and sleep. I feel it would be better business if the people that pay weekly stay in the studio 6 rooms with all of the other normal people who have to work . That is just my opinion. I think they would get more business like that, but they have to pay for the full week in advance. Not complaining.

• Marco (5/5): Für eine Nacht gerade noch machbar, aber eigentlich lieber etwas besseres Suchen. - Da gibt es nichts zu berichten. Sauberkeit naja eine Nacht geht gerade so noch. Wie jetzt in vielen Motel 6 gibt es einen neuen Anstrich die Betten sind neu, Fußboden so eine Art Laminat aber schlecht verlegt, hier sieht man natürlich jeden kleinen Dreck, Haare oder Ähnliches. Das Bad ist weiterhin alt und abgewohnt. Nicht einladend dort zu duschen.

• melissa (2/5): Peace and quiet - It was really close to where I work. Walmart super center is down the street. Location is great All downstairs parking spots for every first floor room is handicap. Both neighbors were deaf on both sides of me. I work in the early morning so I go to bed early, but not here. If not could get a quiet room, I'd stay here every night, but not like this I won't.

The room was close to the freeway, in a quiet and safe area and the I did not hear any commotion. I would stay here again.

• Kendra (1/5): Stay anywhere else! - Absolutely nothing! Check in was difficult after 9. Staff was rude. Room was dirty. A parking lot full of cops at 4am makes it difficult to sleep. Room was dirty, pool was filled in with dirt and trash. Cops woke everyone up at 4am, parked just outside my door. Staff hung up on me when I called to complain. Refused to give me my money back.

• Claudia (7/5): Great, cheap option when you don't expect anything other than a clean room and bed. - We really appreciated how clean the rooms were. That is the most important. And the beds were comfortable. It is little things that would not cost much but could have made that an excellent experience. There was no shampoo and conditioner. I have not experienced that in any other hotel so I usually don't travel bringing my own, which meant I was not able to shower properly. A dispenser with shampoo in the shower could be such a cheap but really valuable solution. It is a small issue, but for me a reason not to choose Motel 6 again. It just shows such care for the customer in such a simple way, even when on a budget. Also, please add another blanket during the winter.

• Stephanie (4/5): Would have been great but - Check-in was smooth. Check-in clerk was nice. It was clean. I did not like the fact that someone pulled the fire alarm causing me to jump out the middle of my sleep at 5am fumble around to get dressed, while my dog is freaking out. The alarm is blaring which goes on for what seemed like 30 minutes. The fire department came couldnt get in where they needed... no one was at desk bc its 5 in the rising!!! This was my sleep in day... the only one so to be woken up at 5 am was quite frustrating. I asked for a refund 😐 but excuses were made... I left out of my room at 5:40am I didnt go back into my room except to use the bathroom. And I checked out officially at 7:30am after sitting in the parking for almost two hours. I was waiting to get sleepy enough to go back in but nope that did not happen. I been up all day now it 5:30pm PST Also the fact that I tried to cancel after booking three times and it wouldn't let me just rubs it in. Like I really want my money back bc this was horrible... had my anxiety all up in the dang clouds ... smh.

• Ryan (4/5): - I’ve never slept on a more uncomfortable mattress, it was like sleeping on an air mattress that was going flat. You could fly an airplane underneath the gap below the room door. The swimming pool was full of garbage and mud. And the listed price per night was $499 with an absolute joke.
