Guest Reviews
- Trudy (10/5): - Overall happy with everything from checking in to check out have stayed there many times and will continue to stay there even after the renovations hopefully
- Sharni (7/5): Will be back - The bed were so cosy, location was amazing and staff was friendly as Only thing I could fault was door frames needed dusting in bathroom
- Anne (5/5): Clean, but very dated rooms - location great, very clean The rooms look nothing like the photo online
- Chris (6/5): - THE CAFE AREA WAS GOOD
AND THE POSITION IS PERFECT CLISE TO THE BEACH
THE ACCOMMODATION NOT VERY GOOD THE MANAGER TOLD ME THEY WILL DO RENOVATION AS FROM THE END OF OCTOBER
THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL
- Christina (10/5): - Room was clean except there was a decent amount of dust build up on the P trap under the sink. Room was a little out dated but no issues with that especially to the cheap price. shower pressure was nice. Beds were very comfortable. lots of cafes and a BWS close by. Would definitely stay again.
- Genevieve (8/5): - The room was smaller than expected and the outside staircase access was filthy with smokers' rubbish and was very smelly. But the bed was amazingly comfortable
- thiele (6/5): -
- Kate (4/5): Disappointing & mildly depressing overnight stop over. - Good location opposite beach. Friendly professional staff Dingy, tired decor in rooms. Missing light cover in ceiling fan, blocked sink, corridors smelling of cigarette smoke. A dirty food plate & overflowing ashtray left at stairway to rooms.

- Tim (5/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): COMFIEST BED EVER - COMFIEST BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN Room was small hard to get around with 2 suitcases in there too the bathroom door hits the bed
- Kostas (10/5): -
- Yates (10/5): Great place to stay - Food was nice room clean bed comfy staff friendly love the retro room stayed hear before
- Kevin (5/5): - Best view Accommodation are too old and too expensive foods
- Guest (3/5): It was okay for it’s purpose - a nighttime stop over between work. - the staff were very lovely and kind. The bed was comfortable enough, and the entry/exit points where easy. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. The shower had either a LOT of grim or rust, and/or mould. Even though it had just been cleaned, it didn’t feel clean.
- Michael Angelo (7/5): Comfortable to stay - Accessible Photos not the same as actual look of the room and bathroom
- Kelly (6/5): - The rooms at this hotel are terrible and in serious need of renovation. The actual hotel is good with a cafe, sports bar and gaming lounge all finished to a good, clean, tidy and comfortable standard. Unfortunately the rooms have not and the photos on Wotif are not an actual representation of what is provided. My advice would be that if you want to stay somewhere with onsite access to bar, cafe and gaming lounge and don't care what standard the accommodation rooms are then this is the place for you. However if you want a clean, tidy and comfortable room this is not the place.
- Lee-Anne (5/5): Disappointed - Location to the repatriation clinic Unfortunately one staff member was very disappointing as I asked for a pen, to fill out paperwork work and I was told they are for staff only .. I’m a nurse and I would give my favourite pen to a patient if they asked ….. a kind gesture goes a long way .. this person put a sour taste in my mouth.. otherwise a pleasant place for the price.

- West (4/5): Room without a view!.. - The location Having no view of anything due to the windows being so filthy, you couldn't see anything out of them at all..
The basin/sink was blocked. As soon as you ran the tap, even slightly, the basin just filled up with water and filthy crap from inside the drain.
I am not the type of person to complain, not usually, I dont need anything all fancy to be happy, infact, it is the simplest of things in which I find pleasure in life. And so, it is with the burdening feeling of regret to have to say that, overall, the room was an extremely disappointing waste of time and money..
😢
- Katie (3/5): - Great location Room was disgusting and not clean. Mould in the bathroom as the exhaust fan didn't work, the floor hadn't even been vacuumed. The walls were filthy like they'd never been wiped. The shower head had that much build up water was squirting everywhere which mad it hard to shower.
- Sharyn (4/5): Food was disappointing for the price and cleanliness - The bed was compatible and shower was nice Carpet looks dirty drains in bathroom filled up slow to go down the pipes. Cigarette nibs under bet and shards of glass can see when sitting on other bed. There was a black hair on the pillow which looked like it had a knot in it.
- Bernadette (9/5): Restful - Location All good
- Paul (5/5): - For the price can’t complain needs a refurb but then it won’t be this cheap

- Guest (10/5): - Everything was exceptional, would stay here again.
- Mark (10/5): great position - the position was outstanding and the pub and restaurant and cafe were really good rooms could do with a make over, very retro
- Cheryl (4/5): - The position and price Rooms felt like prison cells couldn't see outside or open windows. Smell in the hallways and dirty carpet and walls.
- Guest (10/5): -
- Robbie (2/5): - Staff need more attention to the customer than what is going on around them.
bedroom is just that nothing else
Air conditioner impedes bed space
no heater and cannot stop cold air blowing into room through air conditioner
was told i would be better in the sports bar than the restaurant to eat (i assume as i was sitting alone)
unexpected prices in the restaurant that is a back-to-back from night before had same meal and drinks cost a lot more when asked why was told that is the cost was a lot less at previous place i stayed
did not enjoy my stay at all
- Audrey & Des (8/5): We paid $150.14 for 2 nights and would stay again if we can get a similar price when next in Ade. - The fridge with ample room in the freezer department. Comfy bed. We were expecting a double bed, but had a queen so was a nice surprise. Near instant hot water. The stairs were a challenge when carrying your luggage, but thankfully we were able to do that even in our 80s.
- Christopher (8/5): I have stayed there 5 times already when visiting Adelaide & will stay there again next year. - Because I was from overseas Thailand, the hotel had no international electrical adapter so the young lady from reception drove me in her own car to the Post Office so I could purchase an adapter & then she brough me back to the hotel, this was unexpected & very very good customer service indeed.☺ All good

- Janet (6/5): -
- Philip (10/5): - Good value. Dated but clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet.
- Huseyin (1/5): - Was quite old and breakfeast stating at 8:00 am which is quite late for business customer. Was quite old and breakfeast stating at 8:00 am which is quite late for business customer.
- john (10/5): - very good location

- Guest (4/5): Stinky 🤢 - Right on the beach front and amazing cafes This place had a horrible smell through the corridor. The shower was not very clean and leaked. Also there was black mould on the window. The photos of the room were not exactly the same. Also you had no room around one side of the bed due to the closet
- Loechel (7/5): Staying there took me back in time when I was a child holidaying my parents and staying in hotels. - It was quiet, cozy, comfortable. Price wise, it was good. Showing its age a bit. I would like a packet of tissues.
- Lima (8/5): Nice - I appreciate the time was staying Don’t have views the street
- Kimberley (7/5): Good, budget accommodation. - Great aircon and value for money. The accommodation could do with a refresh and update like the rest of the building, downstairs, appears to have had.
- Susan (10/5): -
- Mel (10/5): -
- Bruce (10/5): - The Bed was comfy, great location, The shower head sprayed water out in all directions,
- Eiko (6/5): - Not much
- james (9/5): -
- Bernadette (8/5): - Room was a bit dated but comfortable clean beds, great pub and east beach access
- David (8/5): -
- Kim (8/5): - I was told that parking for guests was in the hotel carpark, but when we got there it was full. There is no actual designated parking for guests. We were lucky to find a 30 min park by the bottle shop and they let us stay there all night. We didn't get there til around 6pm and it was a Saturday night, so it was always going to be an issue I think. That also made check-in a little difficult as no one was at the Reception by then and staff were very busy serving diners. Once we were directed to the right person, it was fine
- Bel (7/5): - The staff, the location. Was comfortable There was still rubbish in the bin in the room.
- Dee Anna (4/5): - Cleaning team don't do there Job right
- PETER (8/5): -

- Sharon (5/5): - Position Smell of the place, soon as you go upstairs it smells like sewrage
- Trev (8/5): -
- Brian (8/5): Value for money - Off street parking, easy access, good price The room was a little ' dated'.
- Hyoungchul (8/5): -
- Olivia (8/5): - It’s a little outdated, but it was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again 😊
- Simon (8/5): - Great old pub

- James (5/5): Great location and staff. Will be great when Reno is done - Location. Right across from beach. Food was good too It’s old. But about to get a renovation
- Jason (5/5): Good location, dated facilities - It’s location Dated and a bit banged up
- Ciprian-Victor (10/5): - Location, food, stagg A bit outdated
- LINDA ITATI (8/5): BUENA - La ubicación, los servicios de bar y comidas, que está frente a la playa La escalera fea, incómoda, sucia y a la intemperie para acceder a las habitaciones
- Rebecca (4/5): - Needs a good renovation.. rooms are very outdated paint chips and scratches on all walls and furniture.
- Stott (8/5): - It was good
- Rita (7/5): -
- Julie-Ann (6/5): - Location and convenience for an overnight stay. Close enough to Airport for an early morning flight. Ease of access for after hours. Staff friendly. Discount on dining on site The bed was very soft, but we prefer a firm mattress. The bathroom was dated but very clean. The room was a little smelly but was air-conditioned although the unit itself was dated. The room was cool and had an overhead fan which made sleeping comfortable
- Trudy G (7/5): -
