I checked in and notified them that I would be arriving late and when I got to my room, it was already occupied, and there were drugs all over the place which I know is not the hotel‘s fault, but it was not great to be greeted with that at midnight after a long drive. I did not get to experience the facilities because I immediately went to stay elsewhere , but it definitely seemed on par for a Palm Springs vibe. Could have should have would have. I was able to get a refund though so I will give 2 stars

- Deanna (10/5): A Retro Desert Oasis - If you’re looking through multiple hotel listings trying to find the perfect one - STOP, you’ve found it! The Stardust Hotel is the most intricately decorated and curated boutique I’ve ever stayed at. You can tell the owner Jessica put all her love, care, and creativity into this hotel. Everything was well thought out and there are also fun things like a vintage shop and costumes inside your room. I originally chose it because of the central air conditioning (which is whisper quiet) and most other hotels in this price range have window box air conditioners that are super noisy. I also really wanted a kitchen to cook in as I’m trying to eat healthier. And of course I was charmed by the design of the room itself! One of the highlights was chatting with Jessica the owner. I always ended up running into her in the kitchen and she’s a lively and charismatic lady. She also has all the tips for thrifting and antiquing in Palm Springs! The hotel is also walking distance to hot spots like Bar Cecil and the Ace Hotel, and a convenience store and very delicious crepe place. You won’t regret staying here—indeed you probably won’t ever forget it!

- Monique (10/5): Need to stay here! - The cutest retro boutique hotel! The owner, Jessica was the BEST! Everything is well thought of for the guests. It’s literally like a “home away from home”. If you’ve thought about staying here, do it. It’s a small hotel with 9 rooms, a lounge for anyone to hang out in and provided with waters, soda, snacks, fresh delicious donuts. There’s a full kitchen for guests to cook in and a vintage shop in the back. The pool was relaxing and very enjoyable. The bed was comfortable to rest in and rooms were clean.

- Jocelyn (10/5): - we stayed here for a 3 day weekend and absolutely loved it! we loved every single detail about the hotel and how welcoming the owners were! the rooms are so unique and beautiful. this place isn’t like your basic hotel! it’s a very homey feeling but this the perfect place to get away and for a mini vaction. i would definitely return back! they have a vintage shop in the back full of so many cool stuff that you definitely need to pick something from!

Tried new restaurants, shopped vintage and enjoyed a clean pool! Comfy bed!

Retro, fun, funky, and clean right off the bat. Jessica and her staff are the KINDEST and most attentive people you will ever stay with and we appreciated everything they did so much. Each room has its own personality, and it just feels like a temporary home. I hope this hotel prospers forever so I can continue to make memories with my friends and family for ages to come. Seriously, I can’t recommend this place enough. My only complaint is that there’s not a Stardust Hotel and Jessica (and her team) in every city I want to travel to, but there is comfort in knowing that when we need to escape to the desert we know exactly where to find them. Thank you guys so much, we can’t wait to be back!!!

From the curated vintage décor to the little details like purified water, complimentary drinks and snacks, ear plugs, Advil, and an on-site vintage shop (which is dangerously cool, by the way), everything felt intentional and guest-focused. Jessica, the owner, is incredible, warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she’s created. This isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. I already can’t wait to come back. - Adam (10/5): Stay here! It's AMAZING! - This was the perfect Palm Springs getaway for my wife and I on Mother's Day weekend. Everything down to the last detail was met with great attention. For a couple that enjoys funky boutique hotels off the beaten path with a retro flair, this fits the bill perfectly. We felt like we had stepped into Palm Springs circa 1969 with the terracotta tile patterns on the floor, the gold patterns on the walls, the modern but retro-looking mini fridge, the cool posters on the walls, and the tiki-themed pool. The owner was a wonderful lady who treated us like family from the minute we met her. They also welcome you to the lounge if you happen to come a bit early, which is stocked with water, drinks and light snacks, free of charge. (So great to arrive refreshed without worrying about being nickel-and-dimed at checkout for a bottle of water, etc.) There's also a full kitchen if you want to cook or heat up restaurant leftovers.The bed was very large and comfortable and was the perfect sanctuary after a long drive and the HOT day excursions that followed in Palm Springs. Which brings me to the air conditioning: we are from Las Vegas and have been to hotels where the AC could NOT keep up. Not the case here. the AC was always working perfectly and will not be an issue if you're worried about coming here in the summer months. I highly recommend coming here for an adults-only getaway and we will definitely coming back for future concerts, etc. Support this hotel, it's a diamond in the rough!

It’s independently owned and operated, which in this case means there’s a very creative and fun flair that gives it soul and is so wonderful. Fun decorations and little “easter eggs” all around, artsy palms springs at its best! Pool is small but when you sit in the chase loungers you’re looking right out over the mountains so who cares what are you gonna swim laps with a hangover?! :) And speaking of hangover, lots of great bars and restaurants right out the door.

It seamlessly merges the mid-century feel of Palm Springs with modern touches of today. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was awesome. I loved the decor and the details throughout the place down to the vintage dresses hanging in the closet of our room. The hotel is quirky in all the best ways. The views from our room were beautiful. I loved watching the sun come up on the mountains that surround the town and appreciated how close we were to trailheads to explore them. Be aware that this hotel functions more like an Airbnb which makes for a more relaxed experience that I appreciated. No waiting in long lines to check in or having to track down staff if you need anything. The owners are onsite often but encourage a help yourself to whatever you need kind of approach. For instance, the lounge is stocked with cold beverages you are welcome to enjoy by the pool, free of charge. On the flip side, rooms are not cleaned daily but we did not mind this. We were very happy with our stay and didn’t want to leave! Definitely hope to return someday.

The decor is a dream and our room was a truly relaxing and beautiful place to unwind. The bed was very comfortable, the AC was excellent, and the shower was faultless. Hotels are increasingly becoming generic and bland, but not this place. If you’re looking for somewhere interesting to stay, you should stay here. That’s the hotel, and now the owners. I want to say that Jessica, the owner, is a real jewel. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, friendly, kind, and very thoughtful. We had a wonderful chat with her, and she also offered to take some photos for us—they turned out to some of the best holiday photos of us as a couple we’ve ever had. In an era of generic and corporate experiences, Jessica is flying in the opposite direction and it was just what we wanted and adored. In summary: great hotel and great owner. Just book it!

The detail in design are obvious everywhere - from the rainfall shower to cool mini-fridge to comfy bedding. Just lovely. It’s this adorable boutique hotel with that retro 50s-60s charm with vintage decor, and a pool that’s basically begging for a selfie sesh. Every room looks out over the pool, and with those gorg San Jacinto Mountains in the background, it’s like living in a postcard! The room was super spacious and bright, with a bed so comfy our stay literally felt like a dream. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, check-in was a breeze, It’s tucked away in this quiet little spot, but still so close to downtown Palm Springs and yummy restaurants like Miro’s (literally a hop away!) I felt like I had my own private oasis. For the price? Total steal. Considering all of the boutique hotels in Palm Springs are overrated and overpriced with mediocre hospitality, and service, The Stardust Hotel won me over I’m already planning my next trip back!! sidenote if you love the vintage style ask the owner Jessica about her little shop. She has one of a kind pieces that you can only get in Palm Springs California. Thank you again and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Jessica, the owner, made us feel so welcome. Love, love the decor, beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms. It would be a great place to stay with friends and/or family members as well as just by yourself. It feels like your own private place. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Palm Springs.

Each room has been carefully curated in such a unique and fun way. Luxurious finishes with a quirky art direction. Cool, clean and chic. Jessica is wonderful!
- Sylvia (10/5): - Okay, lemme first say, the stars don’t reflect the quality of this hotel. It should easily be a 4-star hotel not a 2. My boyfriend and I love exploring boutique hotels and this was easily in our top 2 hotels we’ve stayed in. We were immediately greeted by Jessica, the owner who took the extra step to walk us to our room and give us a tour letting us know there was a communal kitchen/living space area (beautifully styled btw) as well as a thrift store. I’m not even going to talk about how nicely decorated the rooms are. The parking is free and there was always parking available. It was so quiet and peaceful and definitely catered to more adults than family with young kiddos but i’m sure that’d be nice too. The pool access was 24/7 as long as noise was at a respectable volume. There was even yoga mats and board games all throughout the property. I will definitely be staying here again but hopefully they consider a jacuzzi bc that would the cherry on top. Can’t rave about this place enough!
