Carpet worn, old bathroom style, air con was not good. Wifi was very poor. Needs a refresh, repaint, a little more care put into the property.

The first thing I noticed was how clean the shower and toilet were!! A big pet peeve of mine!! Internet connection was not the greatest.

• Belinda (9/5): We always stay there when we go to Bangor for the night and they have a great breakfast and it is close to every thing - It is clean employees are very nice and very accommodating The rooms don’t have enough outlets. It would be great to update it so they have places to charge your devices. Some places I have stayed have lamps that have the ability to plug in your device to charge

• John (10/5): Ideal stopping place between the border and Portland. - The outstanding feature was the best included breakfast of the trip, eggs/sausage/waffles/ bagels/ beans and pineapple The hotel is located just of 295 making it ideal for us to go into Portland the next day. And to stop at the Freeport -- outlet city with a nice Lena? Bean restaurant as well as the stores. Also the Claddagh Pub, across the freeway at the Hilton has a surprizing good tuna with capers and olives. Can't think of anything now.

The person who checked us in was very nice. When we drove to our building and parked, we had a bad feeling. The walk to the entry was uneven, and then three very high and crumbling steps with one rusted pipe handrail. A large unsafe 4th step up while holding door open and getting luggage up in. None of the steps were painted with warning yellow. Coffee maker kept on sinks edge was dusty and had not been cleaned properly with sink use being unsanitary to begin with. King size bed with only one night stand. There was a huge recliner shoved into the other side with a crooked unplugged floor lamp. To get the one light over the center of the headboard up on the wall, I had to climb to turn it off and on. No ice for our room. I have no idea where that was. Breakfast was terrible. The worst scrambled eggs that were half scrambled. The cheapest, thinnest, worse tasting sausage patties. You could not serve yourself, which was ridiculous to name how many sausage patties we'd like. After the first small plate, we would usually have something else to top off. The first was so bad that we didn't want anything else. When we checked out.the woman was visiting back and forth over the counter with another woman sitting at the door. Out check our women never asked how are stay was. The building, room.and entrances have not been kept up. The toilet just barely flushed and took twice at that.

The first night there was no internet or tv until 8:30pm. The second night the tv worked but the internet for looking at anything on my phone was spotty to non existent. Service kept dropping and when there was service it was very slow.

• Karen (8/5): Bangor Inn was a fine choice for a one night stay. - The breakfast, which was included, was excellent. The staff seemed exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean with comfortable beds. It appeared that the outside door to our building was not locked at night. It was separate from the office building and for security reasons should be secure.
• Fonda (4/5): - I needed an extension for checkout as my scheduled departure time was delayed and was told the most they could give me was 15 minutes!!! The hotel was not busy and they still denied my request. I found that unacceptable——
• Sandra (8/5): - The bad thing about this was that the wi fi was seldom on. The office used a different wi fi than the rooms do in order to look anything up you had to go down to the office area. It really sucked that you couldn’t look up the temperature for the day to see how to dress for what we had planned to do each day
