- T Eric (2/5): - We arrived a bit early and no one was there so we went to grab some food and returned at 2 pm for check in and no one was there. We asked some tenants in the building and walked around for well over an hour in 90 degree heat trying to find anyone to speak too with no success. When I tried to call the number provided to reach the property it said it was invalid and not in service. We eventually elected to find another their accommodation as some members of our party had health conditions that made it difficult to continue to be walking around in the extreme heat indefinitely. We then received communication from the host MANY hours later asking what time they should plan on us arriving. If you are not going to be present from 9am to 9 pm as the listing suggests that requires advanced communication. We requested a refund which has still not been granted.
- Sammystin (2/5): - It's a very hot country, and even though the air conditioner broke down, I couldn't contact them, had to pay my own money to sleep in a different hotel for a night, had to pay the electricity bill separately, and even though I changed rooms, the air conditioner didn't work properly! Especially the person working in the office was so unfriendly!! I don't want to go again, and I recommend going to another friendly hotel! Everything is so messed up!!

L’accessibilité est horrible, une montée à gravir digne d’un sport d’ escalade avec valises en prime. La propreté de notre appartement etait médiocre. Et la literie à ressort trop ferme accompagné de coussins trop surélevée. Le personnel est très sympathique en particulier à la réception.

I received this suite after discussion with the responsible manager. The Karon Butterfly propose us absolutely not correspond to the description room at the beginning. The infrastructure services catered to our expectations.

- Michael (4/5): - Forfærdeligt hotel. Roomservice var absolut det dårligste jeg hidtil har oplevet. Og så har man endda betalt ekstra for det. Bakken op til hotellet fra byen var den største dræber. Jeg forstår godt man ikke har valgt at notere det nogle steder. For så ville ingen besøge hotellet! Det var larmende, lugtende og morgenmaden var seriøst ikke noget at skrive hjem om. Her var 4 valgmuligheder, ikke meget når man skal på der i 12 dage. En kop kaffe og et glas juice til morgenmaden, hvis man ønskede mere drikkelse var det for egen regning! Aircondition på værelset var der intet af, det vil sige der var en, men værelset var alligevel 30 grader. Sengen, ja hvad skal jeg snart sige? Hvis man sætter pris på sin nattesøvn, så får man ikke meget af det her. Sengen var en feltmadres, dvs. at man kunne mærke fjedrende når man skulle sove. Hvilket resulterede i dårlig ryg det meste af ferien. En kombination af dårlig seng og et alt for varmt værelse, kunne man ikke ligefrem prale af at have fået sin skønhedssøvn. Men ellers var værelset fint, der var en masse køkkenredskaber og andet så man kunne lave frokost og aftensmad på værelset.
- Tien (10/5): - The place looked great and the staff was very nice. Room service doesn't take long and the pool side had an alright view. The residence is up a steep hill, which made it a bit tough to climb if you're not used to it, but they had a shuttle bus to bring you up or down if needed. Shuttle also brings you to the nearby beach if needed.

- Andrei (8/5): - Отдыхали семьей в отеле вторую половину июля, начало августа 2019. Кондо хороший, однако находится на возвышенности с крутым подъемом. Спасает то, что в отеле есть трансфер до пляжа и обратно каждый час с 7-00 до 21-00. Время в пути 5 мин до пляжа. Маршрут трансфера проходит мимо большого супермаркета Макро, очень удобно на нем ездить за продуктами и обратно. Нас поселили в номер, в котором плохо работал один из кондиционеров, при обращении нас на следующий день поселили в другой похожий номер. Вид из номера на бассейн и видно также море с потрясающими закатами. Холодильники, телевизоры в номерах большие, правда каналы TV показывают как от обычной антенны неважно. Из минусов- очень было плохое интернет соединение. Реально хорошо работал только на ресепшене в дневное время. Также в номере нет утюга и стиральной машинки, но в целом не жалеем, что жили в этом отеле.

- Victor (10/5): Thailand Family Vacation - The Karon Butterfly Residence is located just about a 15 minute walk to the beach and the price and size of rooms makes it great for a family on vacation. All the staff was helpful from check in and booking all our family tours.

- Olga (10/5): - Отличный отель. Уютные комнаты. Хороший бассейн, маленьким детям очень нравилось. Отличный персонал, очень общительный и дружилюбный. Отель находится в 15 минутах ходьбы от пляжа. Но в отеле сервис довозить и заберать постояльцев с пляжа и до пляжа. Каждые 30 минут. Очень удобно. Довезут до большого супер маркета "Макро" и заберут с тяжёлыми сумками. За что большое спасибо. Сам отель находиться на горе, но отель конпенсирует своим сервисом доставки постояльцев. Так что гора вовсе не мешает. При заезде с вас взимут за электричество по 150 бат за день и 1000 бат за уборку номера за весь отдых. Уборка в номере два раза в неделю. Отелю ставлю 5 . Минусов небыло.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasant stay at Karon - It's a apartment style hotel, not very near to the beach but certainly not far. They also run a shuttle during the day and until midnight so it's not s problem if you are not good with walking. We enjoyed area and the hotel itself as well.staff super friendly and helpful. Also quite near to Patong if you like to go for a party and then relax afterwards.

- Riana (8/5): Lovely stay - few minor issues - Overall, we loved our stay here. The room was very modern, clean, comfortable and large with full kitchen and living space. Wifi was strong and available everywhere. Air conditioning was also very strong. Pool area was great with nice lounge chairs and beautiful view of sunset over the beach. Restaurant was also quite good and similar pricing to food by the beach. Note that this property is up a hill. There is an hourly shuttle to and from the beach but make sure to check where it picks up by the beach (we weren't sure about the exact location - just happened to flag it down). Can make it a bit hard to run out to buy water or get food with the hill. One thing we didn't like was the extra charge. At check-in, you're required to pay an extra fee for electricity and cleaning. I totally understand that hotels need to pay for these things, but I wish it was included in the per night rate and not an add-on when you arrive. It ended up being about $20 CAD per night, which also seemed excessive. And cleaning only occurs every 3 days, so odd that it's an extra fee. A note says that extra toiletries and toilet paper can be purchased between cleanings - don't think these should be paid for. And when our room did get cleaned, they threw out our partially used TP roll and toiletries. We also had two staff members come in on our last day and look around our room, but didn't tell us why. We were very uncomfortable with the visit.

Alcuni membri dello staff sono italiani, tra cui il manager e sono tutti molto disponibili e sensibili ad ogni richiesta del cliente. La location è perfetta per esplorare l'isola con uno scooter che si può noleggiare in loco.La spiaggia è molto vicina e raggiungibile a piedi così come vari supermercati e altri servizi di cui si può aver bisogno. - Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved our stay here, the room was so modern and clean with A* air conditioning and everything we needed to make the odd meal. There was plenty of space by the pool and all the staff were so helpful and really friendly. The hotel is really close to the beach and masses of shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. We found that the 24hr supermarket closest to the hotel was the best one in the area for supplies. The ONLY downside was the very steep hill going up to the hotel, cars and mopeds could go up and down but none of the mini buses for our trip could make it up there. It was quite a tough walk in the heat and we tried to avoid making too many trips back and forth to the hotel during the day or evening becuase of the hill. There is a shuttle bus service that was operating but we didnt use it as we were never there at the right time which was of course our own fault!

- Tom (10/5): Beautiful atmosphere - Great place to stay in Phuket. My holiday was made very comfortable by the friendly staff. The room was very clean, awesome atmosphere, great time relaxing at the pool and hitting the gym in the morning. The best beach is walking distance and the shuttle service provided by the hotel is great to get back. The area is full of anything you need from day to night time life. Can surly recommend it!
- Matthew (10/5): Great days at Karon Butterfly - Since the start everything was made very easy by the helpful staff: clear arrival info, smooth check in, nice recommendations on beaches and restaurants during our stay and easy check out with transportation back to the airport on time! Perfect location to get around Phuket. We were chilling in the pool and taking advantage of the great restaurant in the residence or walking down to Karon beach or exploring the night life of the island. Karon Butterfly is the perfect place to stay. Thanks guys! See you next year!

The swimmining pool is equipped with a relaxing hydro-massage, perfect to enjoy a good cocktail while watching the amazing sunset of Phuket. Big and comfortable rooms, carefully cleaned every morning. Surprised for the low price of the accomodation, I strongly recommend it.
- Andrew (8/5): Very Nice Stay - Very nice facility, overall. A few minor maintenance concerns, but nothing to worry about. Rooms are spacious. Only drawback is the very steep hill to get to the property. Even the tuk tuk drivers charge an extra 100 baht to go up the hill! Pool is great. Walk to Karon beach about 15 to 20 minutes. Kata beach much the same, but take advantage of the free shuttle to avoid the hill. There is a small restaurant on site and many other choices within a 5 minute walk. Chef Nut's restaurant is at the bottom of the hill is great value and very tasty. We ate only Thai food but most places also have Western food. You can flag down a songthaew (bus) as it passes the property (40 baht) if you are looking for more shopping in Phuket town. The main mall being Phuket Central or our Thailand "go to" Big C. Overall, a nice place to stay. Great pool. Very quiet even though it's close to a busy road. Staff are friendly. Nice design and well maintained. If you need shops then you have a few choices as well as 24 hour convenience stores nearby. This is a condo style facility with limited house keeping. If you are looking for more independence from your accommodation, then the Karon Butterfly won't disappoint. Great for families.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Possibly if we were were allocated the room we booked my review would be a little kinder. The reception staff and manager implied that we were stupid by saying that a studio that they put us into was the same as a one bedroom apartment. We would have been understanding if they had said the room we had booked was not available and it was a mistake on their behalf.
- BP (6/5): Not a hotel or resort, more a Condotel, but ok. - Difficult to actually put into words this property-some good, some average. Even though this property is marketed on websites as this one it sounds as though it is a hotel or resort. Probably the first thing to note is that it is neither. Once you arrive you see signs that acknowledge this and almost as a warning advise you that it is a condo, not a hotel. In other words-there is next to no service, which is pretty much the case. So, the rooms are sparse but OK. As it is a condo all rooms are furnished differently-ours for example was very average, but spacious. There for 12 nights we would have loved some comfortable chairs on the balcony to take in the beautiful views-but were instead on very hard chairs. A small thing, but after a few days it gets annoying-keep in mind that you are paying good money to stay here-some comfort would be nice. Otherwise the rooms were good, spacious enough for three, kitchen basic but good, tv- excellent. The property itself was nice, pools excellent, public areas good. The restaurant sadly was average, only ate there twice as that put us off. I wont go on about "The HILL" as others have. Yes its steep, we are fit so it didnt fuss us much, certainly wouldnt be an option for the elderly. One would think with all the comments about the hill if management were serious they would have a solution to it. But, in a nutshell that was the general feel, the management were not as serious about guests as they were about selling condos.
