Laura (6/5): nightmare, literally - location Front desk is the main problem. Red mark in the shower that appeared to be blood but wasn't,fortunately. It is permenant apparently. The older man at front desk is absolutely a control freak. He Demands people stand there and wait on Him, while he stares at computer screen. A separate occasion, told me I will have To Wait for a room to get cleaned. This was at 303pm. I booked online hours before. He has got some Real Control/power issues. Then he made it where the TV wouldn't work and stood in my room 4 separate times claiming he was on phone with customer service trying to get it fixed! The soda machine is stocked full. There are No diet or sugar free sodas. No coffee in the morning. The pool is Drained and has been for a very long time by the looks of it. Front desk said there are no bath tubs in the entire motel. On checking I was told " no drugs on the property" I thought this is strange. I am not a drug user. But if someone wants to have an editable in their room.. I think its their business, not his.

The room wasn’t cleaned throughly, I found someone’s false nail on the floor of the bedroom, but it was on the whole clean enough.

GILL (7/5): Just what you expect from Motel 6, a clean, comfortable room at an affordable price. - I had dogs and it was no problem. No hassle at check in. Very clean room, although bare bones, nothing fancy, but I was expecting that. Is right next to the freeway, so a bit noisy, but not overwhelming.

Christopher (4/5): It was a place to rest my head for a night, that is about it... - The morning staff was very kind during check out. Ground was nasty. There was a cat toy under the bed, from a previous rental. The door wasn't completely sealed, making the traffic from the highway very loud.

Pillows were completely flat, like old cheap pillows. Walls and doors dirty. A very small room. Would not recommend this place at all, and I'm not very particular about where I stay.

Pulled in and there were a group of men smoking marijuana on the 2nd floor balcony, nowhere to park our truck near the room we were to have, and lots of very shady people roaming around near the motel so we decided to stay somewhere else.

Jean (1/5): Horrible, shockingly disgusting. - Nothing - we left This was the worst place we ever stayed. In fact, we didn't stay. I'm not looking for a 5 star gig but I do expect cleanliness.. We had two rooms booked for a family of 8 and had the same issues in both. The sheets were disgusting! Hair, food crumbs and heaven only knows what else! Clearly The cleaning people just pulled up the sheets from the last customers and didn't actually change the budding. It was just so gross. The shower had a mass of hair, the size of a golf ball at least in the drain. We just couldn't believe it. The other room wasn't much better. Because we didn't have a vehicle and we're traveling with kids, we didn't want to leave and have to find another place. So we asked the front desk person for cleaning supplies and a new set of bedding for both rooms. Took about a half an hour to get those to us and then when we opened up the supposedly new clean sheets and found hair in those also, we decided enough was enough. To stay just a couple of blocks up the road and the price was about the same and it was hundred times cleaner and better. I do appreciate that they gave us all of our money back. Other than that, it was the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel/motel. I'm 60 years old and have traveled a ton around this country. Do not stay at this place.

Moore (10/5): My Motel 6 Night Stay - I liked that the Motel 6 was pretty cheap, very easy to book online, quick to check in and pay upon arrival, and fast to gain access to the room with a card key. The TV channels available in the room were good to select from, and there were 41 channels total at the location I booked at. It was great that Motel 6 also provides free coffee for guests in the morning at where you check in for the evening. I didn't like that Motel 6 doesn't serve breakfast, but that's okay with me. The room was like new for the most part, it wasn't in mint condition anymore really, and that's fine.

Larry (1/5): The worst experience of our life - There was no breakfast. My wife is in heart failure and sleeps very sound. I had locked myself out and couldn't wake my wife up I went to the front desk and couldn't locate a worker so I proceed to go round up some more cash while I was gone the check out time had come and my wife who mind you was is in heart failure was woken up by the management unannounced and was screaming at my wife who mind you was naked. My wife was then told that she was going to get the police called because she was not a registered guest. My booking was for two adults. The manger who repeatedly told me to shut my mouth and quit lieing about my wife being a non registered guest the overall experience could have caused my wife serious health issues and the staff did not even care horrible people.
Robert (1/5): Motel6 Bellingham,WA. Just DON'T! DISGUSTING! - Nothing about the motel lived up to the Motel6 brand. It was very sparse no mini fridge, no microwave even though specifically requested on Booking.com the bathroom had a used toilet paper roll with no extra roll. The towels were tiny and dirty and stunk. The wall in the bathroom by garbage can was dirty as well as wall by shower Around the entire shower inside under the lip of shower halfway down wall(easily seen,so should have been easily cleaned by housekeeping) there was mold and black goo, cloth like, porous, shower curtain, had red mold on it from not being washed properly or often enough. The sheets were dirty with children's writing permanently stained on them(should have been discarded in trash) and blood stains(biohazard). Just a thoroughly disgusting place to stay. Will never stay there again.
Mary (7/5): Don’t charge extra “hidden fees” for things that should already come with a room. - We’ve been here before. Quite a few times actually. Getting it through booking.com is really helpful. I got this room this time for my son who’s taking care of some things while in town. I went online to set it up for him. Turns out they gave him a room with out microwave and fridge. They charged extra for these things and put him in a different room. I think this is very sneaky of them. I never experienced this before. We are limited on funds so in my opinion it wasn’t nice of them to do this. Otherwise we like the place. Good value (usually) but not if you have to pay extra when you sign in to get the “otherwise regular items that come with a room”

Sierra (2/5): - The room was very dirty (bits of fake eyelashes on the bedspread, dirt on the covers), the toilet was clogged when I arrived, and there was sand/dirt on the floor. The room also smelled strongly of kitty litter. The shower curtain hooks were broken and didn't cover the shower, so water would spray out, no matter how I arranged it. There was so much dog poop on all the grounds that I didn't want to let my dog walk on the grass to pee. I honestly have never seen so much dog poop, anywhere. Staff were all awesome, but I suspect that they need to be paid more!
Kendra (2/5): - Tried to check in at 3pm but there were no rooms ready. They had no estimate when it would be ready but told us they would call. It was almost 5pm when our room was finally ready. It was a non smoking room but reeked of smoke. Our eyes were watering and we couldn’t stay. It was on the highway side of the building and we could hear every passing car. The curtains were also broken and the room was not clean. We stayed for about half an hour then asked for a refund and found another place to stay. The gentleman at the desk was very accommodating and friendly and processed our refund without question.

The door wasn't aligned with the frame, so we couldn't get the door to deadbolt despite an ominous sign telling us to deadbolt the door for our protection. Ended up stacking both of our suit cases in front of the door for an uneasy night's rest.

When our first room was discovered to have a leak in the bathroom, she quickly got us into another room. She even warned us about the freeway traffic noise (which, honestly, wasn't so bad). Overall, it's a decent place to crash for a short stay when you're on a budget. Bare bones, and the beds are comfortable enough.
