Sheri (10/5): Great location and amenities for families! Rooms are VERY SPACIOUS - What an outstanding hotel! Our King Suite was incredible during our trip for our son-in-law's college graduation! I also loved that the hotel was holding a food drive and we were able to participate! Additionally, it was great to have operational amenities like the workout room for my husband, and the hot tub and pool for everyone else to relax after a very long day of celebrating. Breakfast options at most hotels are always a challenge for gluten-free guests. I would like to see this changed throughout the hotel industry as it is so much more common today, whether personal preference or in my case, a severe allergy. It was very convenient, however, to walk to Denny's to meet my need.

The free cookies on arrival were a nice touch, The location is a little strange. The frontage is looking at the side lot of a declining strip mall. In this side lot was a LOT of, let's just say, unscrupulous activities. We'll let local law enforcement handle it, but not the kind of place I'd like to step outside after dusk. BIG ding for that.

Virginia2002 (10/5): Good Solid Place to Stay - This is a good clean hotel with wonderful staff at the front desk. It's about 1/3 mile off of the interstate so there was no noise from the highway. We had a nice room on the 3rd floor. The bed was comfortable and there was a small fridge in the room. There is a pool & hot tub on the 1st floor. They looked inviting but we didn't have time to use them. A free breakfast was included. The coffee machines were a bit different than other hotels - push button machines with Costa coffee. I was skeptical about how the coffee would taste but it was very good. At check-in, we were give free cookies. The front desk staff can give you restaurant recommendations. We took their advice & tried a local restaurant called The Forum. Our meals were good & reasonably priced.

30vickij (10/5): Will definitely stay there again! - This is our 5th stay over the last couple years and we are always greeted with a very friendly staff. The rooms are always very clean with a king size bed. The beds and pillows super comfy. The shower worked awesome and the bathroom was clean. Nice hand soap, body lotion, hair dryer. The room was super quiet and far away from the highway. The entrance to the hotel is not so easy to find and it’s a small sign, but very worth the stay once you find it. If you’re an AARP member that will save you a discount. The complimentary breakfast is a nice selection of hot and cold items. As animal lovers, we noticed the staff was caring for local stray cats at the back of the property. Very kind-hearted people. They were being well cared for with shelters and food and water, as well as being spayed and neutered. We will be staying there again in the future when we come to visit our friends and family.

For my next trip there I will always book a room at your facility. I have a grandson there at college, so I will be making many trips there. Cathy (10/5): - The staff was very accommodating. We had booked with another hotel in the area and they were awful, so we immediately checked out of that hotel. The front desk at Holiday Inn were very welcoming the moment we walked. The double bed rooms were sold out, so he was able to get a rollaway bed added to our room for our last minute stay. Breakfast was good.

Todd (10/5): Excellent visit. - Hotel was very clean and smelled like it was cared for and cleaned very thoroughly. Linda, the concierge, was wonderful. Offered us cold water bottles and cookies. Room was impeccably clean. Well furnished. Staff was super helpful when I managed to wipe the code off of my card with the magnet that is in my wallet. My only qualm I had was my side of the mattress may have had a couple of springs that were ready to let go. I just bent awkwardly in the bed. Otherwise, I was very pleased. Definitely would stay there again.

RHmbrs (2/5): Smells like an ashtray - Great location to 70. One step into Room 222 and all you can smell is stale cigarette smoke. It's definitely in the ac unit, probably the carpets. Black spots on the privacy curtain...uncertain if it's mold or ash. Options provided to us, after informing Vince of my 2 yo daughter's asthma: 1. chemical spray to mask the odor. Probably not a great idea for an asthmatic. 2. kick rocks ...at 9pm with a 2 yr old. "Stay somewhere else...Plenty of people to offer the room to" 3. Rollaway in MIL's room. 3 adults, 1 child, a rollaway, a pack & play, and all our things. 4. Stop complaining, or the police will be called. Oddly the key to room 222 stopped working after the complaint. Locked inside was the baby's food & medicine. Resolved with another trip to the front desk. Unfortunate coincidence I'm sure. I'll be staying in the trap house room tonight. Wife & kid are upstairs with my MIL. We'll try to sort it out with the morning staff. Writing this to inform future guests, but also document in case they try to charge me a cleaning fee because the room smells like a wet Newport.
Edward (8/5): Very good - The room was clean, large and new. Breakfast was good. The property was somewhat difficult to locate because it is behind a Sheetz station and a shopping area. They need a better sign visible from the road.
Juanita (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean and comfortable. We were in town for our son's wedding. They let us check in early so we could get ready. We deeply appreciated that! The desk staff was so nice! Nothing. Everything was perfect.
RetiredTravelerTN (10/5): Good Stop on the Road - Finding the Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge, OH was a little confusing (the drive off the highway leads to the back of the hotel with no sign indicating the hotel name), but once we finally found the front of the hotel, we were easily checked into a clean, attractive room with a king bed and good lighting. The location is far enough from the interstate to provide a quiet stay. The room had enough space to be comfortable, and the bed provided a good sleep with both soft and firm pillows (love that feature of HIE). The bedside tables are large enough to accommodate a sleep machine. The opposite side of the room provided a closet for hanging clothes, a bench, a luggage rack, a large TV, desk, and a good task chair. An upholstered chair is a must-have for lounging in the evening; this one was a little low but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional with a tub shower. We appreciated the hotel-size refrigerator, microwave, and single-cup coffee maker. Breakfast the next morning was just what we've come to expect at HIE -- a variety of hot and cold items and the soft, delicious cinnamon rolls (wonderful!). Staff are friendly and welcoming. We will return to this HIE if we return to Cambridge in the future.
Verified traveler (8/5): Not bad. - Staff was great but didn’t realize till after midnite that there was little blood spots on our sheets. Told the girl out front in the morning and said she could moved us, but it was pretty late so we just used the blankets we had in our car. It was just kinda strange because I know blood doesn’t really come out that good but maybe being an after cleaning establishment you guys would pick up some tricks of the trade. Otherwise the stay was good.

Brent (7/5): My stay was extremely short with a premium price. Wheeling location is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. - I liked that the property set back from the road away from the noise. Giant pot holes on lane to get into hotel. I also feel there should be some sort of option for breakfast for business people that leave very early. My last suggestion would be to provide a non dairy creamer such as silk sweet cream for coffee.
