• Junior (10/5): My stay at The Polish Princess was warm welcoming and unforgettable thanks to amazing hosts. - An unforgettable stay at The Polish Princess Our time at The Polish Princess was truly wonderful. The property is set within the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Portland Jamaica. The road leading up to the hotel is mostly smooth and the final short stretch is a little rocky but easy for any car to manage. The setting gives the place a charming rural feel that makes you immediately relax. From the moment we arrived Barbara and her husband Denton made us feel completely welcome. They have created a warm and authentic environment that feels more like staying with family than at a hotel. Dentons breakfasts were absolutely outstanding fresh delicious and even adjusted to meet special dietary needs. Our room was very clean comfortable and opened onto a lovely deck area where we enjoyed both sunshine and shade. Being in a rural area meant hearing roosters dogs and crickets in the evenings but this added to the natural charm and actually helped us sleep well. Getting around was easy with taxis available for nearby attractions and beaches. A very special thank you to the two wonderful ladies who looked after us at breakfast and kept our room spotless throughout our stay. Their kindness made each day even better. We would not hesitate to return to The Polish Princess. If you want comfort charm and genuine Jamaican hospitality this is the perfect place to stay. There is no AC, however there are fans.

Quarto e banheiro muito amplos, bonitos, confortáveis e equipados com televisão e ventilador. Havia água de cortesia em nosso quarto. Barbara, a dona da propriedade, é muito simpática e sempre disposta a ajudar e dar dicas sobre a região. O café da manhã também muito maravilhoso e variado, toda manhã uma delícia diferente. Os funcionários simpáticos. Local muito seguro e muito próximo da Blue Lagoon e da Winnifred Beach, o que dava para fazer caminhando. Gostamos muito de nossa estadia e de Port Antonio. Gostamos de tudo.

Breakfast was very nice although the availability time could been extended. E.g 8-10am Signage from the main road could be a little more prominent, especially when arriving in the night. Official check in time of 3pm could be a little earlier, although we were welcomed when we arrived shortly after 2pm

She was great at giving tips and pointers for travel around the area, both on foot and by taxi/ bus, and arranged us some transport too.
• Perry (9/5): Living Portland in the best spot. - The Polish Princess is an amazing and cozy spot in Portland. The location is beautiful and in a perfect position, just 5 min driving from Frenchman's Cove, Blue Lagoon, Boston Bay, and 10 min from Port Antonio. Also 35 min away from Reach Falls and Turtle Bay Cove in Manchioneal. The owner Barbara is extremely welcoming and kind. She really wants her guests feeling home, and she can provide for any needs. She also cooks great international and jamaican breakfast, and her suggestions about places to go and visit are always right and worthy to give it try: she didn't make any wrong, not even once. The room is not provided with A/C, so it gets hot during summer, but Barbara can provide standing fans that will help to feel good enough for sleeping and chilling. The guest house is very nice, with beautiful garden and patio, and lovely small and comfortable rooms. The surrounding are is quiet and private, and very safe. The road have been lately paved, so no need to be worried. The quality/price ratio is great and l would definitely stay here again if l will come back to Portland. The owner and the guest house have met the expection and made me feeling home, as well as allowed me to have a wonderful time in Portland. Totally recommended!!! Everything was great!!! Nothing wrong with it.

A única ressalva é que o quarto não possui ar condicionado e o ventilador não é forte, acredito que seja por causa da energia elétrica da região. Mesmo assim, isso não afetou nossa estadia.

Café da manhã servido por quarto com frutas e uma opção de salgado com o cuidado de não repetir nos 3 dias q ficamos. Localização excelente, 3 min da Blue lagoon. Port Antônio é recomendado q se vá de carro pois não tem nada muito pertinho embora tenha visto alguns turistas caminhando pelas vias. Só não foi mais perfeita por conta do ventilador mas não deixamos de dormir bem por isso! Com certeza recomendo e voltando a Port Antônio e lá que vamos ficar novamente!!
• Mauro (10/5): Best place in Port Antonio! - Don’t waste your time or money looking anywhere else! This place is SUPER CLEAN, and the room smelled like flowers as soon as we walked in! The room was comfortable and cozy, with a mini fridge and hot water in the shower. We truly felt at home. Barbara was incredibly helpful, always making sure we had an amazing experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was fantastic!

Very warm and friendly,.She was happy to answer any questions and give advice about local restaurants and beaches. A wonderful host. A different breakfast every day. Barbara even catered for my wife's gluten intolerance, for which she was extremely grateful. We used the roof terrace every evening to sit with a drink and listen to the chorus of tree frogs and cicadas, which was very relaxing. Barbara even provided a mean strawberry daiquiri. • Helen (10/5): - I wanted to stay at a quiet bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting where I could read and relax. The Polish Princess Guest House exceeded my expectations. I requested meals that were vegetarian and gluten-free. Miss Barbara served a delicious breakfast each morning and the meal presentation was beautiful. The setting was so nice. The guest house is surrounded by nature and the building and grounds were well maintained. Miss Barbara was a wonderful host. My 5-night stay was so comfortable I didn't want to leave.

Barbara is an amazing host who took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and filling with great fruits included. Rooms are comfortable with all the essentials. Our room was a bit stuffy at night. An extra standing fan would have been great since there’s no AC.

The host was very nice, helpful and available for our needs. The rooftop terrasse was also a nice touch to gather, have breakfast and dinner. I would stay there again.
• Stella (10/5): Place to go in Portland - Barbara was amazing. She really takes care of her guests. The proximity with the Blue Lagoon (walking distance), Frenchman Cove and other local attractions. Bathroom was really small compare to size of closet.
• Peter (10/5): Wonderful guesthouse with wonderful host - This was my third time staying at the Polish Princess Guesthouse substantiating that this is a wonderful place to stay when in the Port Antonio area. My room was clean and spacious with a mini fridge, large closet, spotless washroom with a great shower, excellent WiFi, TV with a multitude of channels and comfortable bed. The ceiling fan above the bed was efficient and I always had a good night’s sleep. The included breakfasts were consistently delicious. There was ample secure parking for my rent a car. The owner/manager Barbara is a gracious and knowledgeable host always going out of her way to help. This is one of my must stay places when I am visiting Jamaica.

• Zaza (10/5): A lovely and peaceful stay in beautiful Portland - I liked that there was a turn down service every day. Breakfast was great and the staff and Barbara are lovely. It was really peaceful and beautiful and I enjoyed the breakfast view. Everything is easily accessible via taxi for not much money. I am not the biggest fan of dogs but despite this I felt safe knowing the dogs were there and Barbara was really good about keeping the dogs seperate.

• Rebekah (9/5): Homely and comfortable in a beautiful location - Barbara and her staff are very welcoming and friendly and are happy to help you and give you ideas on where to go. It rained while we were staying and we stayed in on the top decking some evenings and Barbara was very hospitable and bought us drinks and looked after us. The breakfast is also very good. Nothing we didn’t like, a bit of noise from animals in the evening but you are in the hills and is manageable with ear plugs :)

My room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed, small fridge, TV and excellent Wifi. There was ample secure parking for my rent a car. The included breakfasts were delicious. The owner/manager of the guesthouse Barbara was courteous, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here when in the Port Antonio area and I will definitely be staying here again.

The room and the guest house is cozy and kept very clean and there is an awesome rooftop to relax with a book or something from the bar menu. • Alleynian (10/5): Lovely, quiet stay in Portland - Barbara cooked a wonderful Jamaican breakfast and is a fantastic host - she couldn't do enough for guests. The hotel is in a quiet location but well-placed for Winnifred Beach and not far from other sights such as the Blue Lagoon (currently closed) and Frenchman's Cove Beach. Nothing
• Maria (1/5): Sad - Didn’t get to stay on the property. After driving from Montego Bay for more that 3 hours got into Port Antonio. The road that takes you to the polish princess is probably one of the toughest I ve drove in my life. When we got there, a bunch of German Shepard started barking at us, I love dogs, so I didn’t mind it that much, later one lady came out of the house with a phone on her hands, on the line it was the owner of the place saying that she was not going to honor our reservation because her account was hacked. Like it was our problem that not her or booking did anything about it. It was almost 9 o’clock when this happened, they decided to leave us on the streets, before trying to figure out something with us, and again, the road that takes you there is just really really bad.
