• Daniela (9/5): - Relatively spacious for Tokyo. Including the washing mashine in the room was very convenient. Slso Shimbashi Area is perfect for exploring Tokyo. Easy access by metro to all areas. Haneda airport was only 30 minutes by taxi.

Små rum som det brukar vara i Japan, men väldisponerad yta. Tvättmaskin, torktumlare och micro på rummet. Vänlig och serviceminded personal.

• Guerino (10/5): Estadia e cidade excelentes. Sonho realizado - Localização, Limpeza e atendimento excelentes. Os quartos são do padrão Tokio, um pouco pequenos mas tudo funcional. O preço da estadia um pouco acima pela época escolhida( florada das cerejeiras) mas era o esperado. A maquina de café no hall é um toque de cordialidade Achamos muito bom e com certeza voltaríamos.

It's one train stop away from Tokyo Station which is the major Shinkansen hub. The room is what you would expect from a small Japanese hotel, but the location is excellent and it's more than enough for my one night stay. The room was quite small like a typical Japanese hotel

• Dawn (8/5): Great location, comfortable and clean - Compact, as with many Tokyo hotels, but having a clothes washer/dryer in the room was great. The hotel is a short walk away from the vibrant Shimbashi Station area, and a walk or quick subway ride away from Ginza, Yurakucho, Tokyo Station, etc. The hotel could definitely improve its breakfast buffet. It is not good value.

• Kurihara (8/5): very good. - I forgot my walking stick as Tokyou Station when I took Shinkansen to Atami, so I needed the hotel staff`s help when I checked in. Ms. Nishida, Frong office cheaf, handled it very kindly and appropriately. She was also really helpful with advice on restaurant, directed to the taxi etc. I was impressed by her hospitality, how wonderful the customer service was. The smiles of the other staff were also great. If I planned to go back to Tokyo one day, I would like to be there again. With heartfelt gratitude from N. Kurihara Nothing in particular.

• Michaela (9/5): Super Hotel - Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer hatte eine super Waschmaschine und im Hotel hatte es einen Raucherraum.
• FERAS (8/5): Good hotel to stay in espcially for the area with a range of useful room equipment. Value however is debatable. - Depending on where you want to be based in Tokyo, location is very subjective but was very convenient for us. Staff were friendly and that was daily/free coffee from the coffee machine until 23:00. The rooms were clean and ok size for Tokyo, bed was comfortable, with very good and useful equipment to use such as an electric stovetop and a washer/dryer. Water pressure was decent in the shower which was good sized. Reception allows you check-in an hour earlier for free if you rate the property 5/5 on a different website before you stay, which is useful if you arrive early, but also means that you should take the reviews with a pinch of salt. The major disadvantage of this place is the PRICE. It was significantly more expensive than hotels in Kyoto with a lot less things on offer; breakfast, bigger room, pool, etc.. but of course two completely different cities. Overall, you get an okay sized room with useful equipment and a “good enough” stay whilst in Tokyo, but by no means excellent or luxurious. Reception allows you check-in an hour earlier for free if you rate the property 5/5 on a different website before you stay, which is useful if you arrive early, but also means that you should take the reviews with a pinch of salt.

• Jessica (6/5): Noisy but convenient location - Location was central for the things we wanted to see (Ginza, TeamLab Borderless, Tsukiji Outer Market). We also found it wasn't as busy as some of the other touristy areas. The 7-Eleven around the corner was great and proximity to the train station was handy for getting to Yokohama. It was very convenient having a washing machine (that also dries) in the room. Staff asked us to give them a 5 star review on arrival in order to get free early check in. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The room is very noisy - nothing soundproof about it! Trains are constantly going past and the street traffic is very loud even during the night. We got used to it but if you are a light sleeper I don't think this hotel is for you. At the very least, ask for a room further back from the street.

• Sandi (10/5): - Man ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der nächsten Train Station entfernt, das Zimmer ist für japanische Verhältnisse relativ groß und hat einen Waschtrockner im Zimmer. Badezimmer ist großzügig und man hat auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Im Zimmer hört man keine Nachbarn weder seitlich noch von oben das war sehr toll zum schlafen. In der Lobby gibt es gratis Zahnpasta, Zahnbürste sogar Haargummi und Rasierer sollte man einen brauchen. Auch eine Kaffeemaschine steht in der Lobby wo man sich gratis Kaffee runter lassen kann und eine Eiswürfelmaschine.

• Maria Eugenia (9/5): Excelente opcion cerca de Ginza - Excelente hotel para estar tranquilos, acceder rapidamente a Ginza a pie, a Akihabara en subte en pocas paradas. Se accede rapido a todas las estaciones de subte de Tokio. El lavarropas excelente. Un poco antiguo, pero todo estaba limpio y en condiciones.

• Joel (4/5): Seen better days - Tokyu Stay Shimbashi is a good location. Rooms are small for two large suitcases, but okay for weekend travel. The hotel has seen better days and looks worn and tired. The reception desk staff helpful - but the breakfast staff belligerent and don’t seem to care. The breakfast was poor. We also asked for a knife to spread butter on bread and were told no - then expected to spread it with a plastic spoon. A lesson in humiliating or not trusting your guests.
