From Krabi to Ko Phi Phi (departing from Klong Ji-Lard Pier) - 9 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3 PM. Guests must arrive at the pier at least 1 hour prior to departure as schedule may change based on weather conditions. Guests who arrive at Phuket or Krabi airport after 12 PM (noon) will have to stay on the mainland and board the morning ferry to Ko Phi Phi.

John (6/5): - The hotel was standard i most ways -- clean and comfortable. My room had some minor inconveniences, but the location was a big advantage. While it didnt bother me, the water heater on the shower in my room didnt work. Thailand is hot. Cool showers feel fine. The shower water has a sulpher-like smell when it started, but that clears up if you run the water a little while. I ended up sick (bali belly) -- not the fault of the hoyel -- and I appreciated the hotel staff policy of not entering the room unless the door knob placard specifically called for cleaning. This is also a good environmental step-- I dont really need my towels and sheets changed every day. The location of the hotel was desirable. It was between the two main beaches and far enough away from the noisy bars that I could sleep at night. Once you hear how loud the bars are, you will appreciate this feature.

Andrenalini (6/5): Very clean budget hotel - A very clean budget hotel. A hotel to sleep in, the bed is very good and to take a shower. It is located between the two beaches of Phi Phi Don Island. It is an affordable and honest hotel. The manager, Mr. Sak, is attentive and very respectful, doing everything he can to provide a good stay. The breakfast is poor. It is worth staying here if you are looking for a hotel to spend as little as possible.

beachfinder123 (2/5): Beware: Do Not Book - We booked a deluxe room but when we arrived we were taken to a totally different hotel. The room at the other hotel was sub-standard and completely unacceptable as it had no window to see outside. There are only sliding glass doors with frosted glass to block view outside. When the sliding doors are opened the view outside is immediately blocked by an ugly metal security wall. On the other side of the metal wall is the exterior seating for a noisy buffet which opens at 7:30 am. We felt like we were in a jail cell. I asked to change rooms but they were all booked. We went out and when we returned I contacted Agoda about the room as Chongkhao's reception was closed. The next day when I talked to Chongkhao reception about a discount they refused. Changing hotels should not be allowed without guests consent in advance.

Il s’agissait en réalité d’une chambre pour 2 avec un lit pliant supplémentaire qui a été sorti d’on ne sait trop où le jour de notre arrivée.
Nbuskell (8/5): Charmingly authentic, in nice location for both beaches - I was looking for ages to find the right accommodation in our budget. Ko Phi Phi is not what it once was, more of a holiday resort for the rich then a travelers destination. Wanted something authentic, not modern, expensive and noisy. I chose Chongkhao as it looked authentically Thai, and appeared to be in a quiet location, in our budget. We had a really lovely time here. It was quiet, monkeys can be seen on the rooftops passing by. Close to both beaches, one for swimming (boat side) the other is the main long beach you can walk along to the nightlife further down, so you walk along the beach home after a night out. We didn't eat breakfast here, we went into town for breakfast as there are loads of places to eat. Our room was just like the one in the picture, large double bed, large balcony, bath room and wardrobe, all clean and tidy, nothing to complain about, expectations met. The guy on the front desk made us laugh, we liked him and he booked our tickets to Maya Bay which was reasonable and a terrific experience and I think booking with him meant we didn't get ripped off. Personally, I loved this hotel, yes it maybe dated but that's exactly what we wanted and it was very charming. Monkeys are in this area which is fun to see. Would probably book this hotel again if I ever come back.

megankU8116AS (8/5): Great value for the price! - Was here with my partner and we enjoyed our stay! I was worried at first when booking because of some of the reviews but our stay was better than anticipated because of this. Although you can tell some of the towels and decor is outdated it is clean which is all that matters to us. The location is further away from the main streets, this allows for it to be quieter at night time (however it can lead to a lot of walking). We are active people so we liked the excuse to walk. The walk at night can be dark however, and although I found the island safe it is something to consider if travelling alone. Overall, for the price, a great stay. Especially for backpackers who are okay being away from the noise and are travelling in a group of 2 (cheaper than most hostels).

St74 (2/5): Unfriendly already at the request booking - I asked for a room and a quote via whatsapp and initially didn't get an answer, after a friendly inquiry I was quoted a horrendous price. I asked what type of room this price was for, then I was instantly blocked. It has never happened to me and I travel a lot! Of course I booked somewhere else.

The place is a bit off the way from the centre so it's quiet but at the same time, it requires a 10min walk to Ton Sai pier. The room was a decent size. It was fairly clean... so room for improvement here. Note, despite the best efforts I could not keep mosquitoes away, so didn't have a good sleep...

KarinaLandim (6/5): Average - The location is good, not in the middle of the main street, but just 5 minutes walking. Also there is a beach 1 minute away. Spacious room and balcony. Good internet. They give you the WhatsApp number in case you need to contact them anytime. They help us with our luggage. Be aware the hotel is not well maintained, when we arrived the AC was leaking water in the door/floor and there was no hot water, they fixed both. The housekeeper do not replace amenities everyday, sometimes she forgot the Towels, Toilet paper, tea, coffee, etc. Some nights you can hear music from the bars but not too loud.

SaveKAC123 (8/5): Holiday - Basic accommodation that was surprisingly quiet, being conveniently close to the night life, but not to close. It was a short walk from the beach, on either side. Breakfast was basic, but good value and plenty available... Overall the accommodation was excellent for the money, clean, confidently located and I would stay again... 😊
M290ZJpeterr (4/5): A Chinese so-called Resort to avoid - This so-called Resort (it offers nothing else than shabby rooms and a cantina style restaurant) promotes itself as a great hotel at of course slashed prices of 200 US but cannot deliver. It is rested on the left corner of Koh Phi Phi to reach only passing the bay and after some dirty alleys to be passed. Rooms are worn out and not sound proved! Also there are mosquitos and bugs in the room! The bathroom has no own window! TV counts with 10 local channels! The reception guys are not talking English and cannot help you in anything. The restaurant is a Chinese soulless type of cantina. Avoid this place and look for a place in real Koh Phi Phi.
clif4dl12 (6/5): Average - When arriving at the hotel, we was given a room that wasn’t even cleaned. They quickly moved us, however the new room shower didn’t work & no hot water. I had to go down and tell them about this twice.. they came to fix but it wasn’t actually fixed. The water was just like warm. We left the door note on & asked them to clean the room and when we got back that day nobody had touched it. When I messaged them on WhatsApp to ask why, my message was read and ignored. When it came to checking out we had to leave the key behind the desk as we waited a while and nobody came but we had a boat to catch. It’s a shame as was in a good location & was met when we arrived off of the ferry and a man took our bags for us to the hotel. Was okay for the price but a shame about the few things.

marcelvanee (2/5): Luggage problem and dirty - Last weekend we stayed with our family 2+4 in one of the bungalows. It was not clean inside, and lot of calcium in the shower. Anyway only 1 room with 5 sleeps inside, no table and chairs inside. Only 4 garden chairs outside and a small table. After checkout (4 hours before our ferry departure) they advise to leave the luggage at their luggage room and they told to bring it 1400, 0.5 hours before our ferry depart to the pier. But 1410 still nothing. So we run back to the hotel and our luggage still there. Not advisable
roneng2019 (10/5): Nice hotel - Agaon found this hotel with agoda usual breakfast included but not the rooms were airy clean and comfortable we had room 109 included fridge and tea and coffee with hot water boiler and a mountain view be the judge of that staff very helpful baggage pick up and drop off service to the ferry piers if required well worth a consideration if stopping on phi phi island.
88backpacker (8/5): Nice hotel away from the party. - Nice big space in the room and good bathroom facilities. Far enough away from the party that you can only slightly hear the noise. 10 minute walk into the main area of Tonsai and it has a beach around a 2 minute walk from the property. We had a lightbulb out and a seat missing from the balcony and the guy from reception came straight away and sorted it. We also booked a full day sunset boat tour from the hotel. Price and service was excellent. Would stay at this hotel again as it's good value for money.
pankhurid2016 (8/5): nice place to stay in phi phi - Good rooms with every facility, kettle , ac rooms. Breakfast included was also good with nice options of fruits and egg dishes. Clean rooms as well as washroom. Balcony also had stand for drying clothes. Overall nice hotel at this price and it is close to the beach as well also has wifi.
True_Briton (8/5): Good budget choice in a quieter area - Choosing accommodation on Ko Phi Phi was difficult. We chose this hotel as it was reportedly in a quieter area at night, but still fairly close to the arrival jetty and centre, and reasonably priced. The hotel delivered on this, we could hear some sounds from the daily beach party but were very muffled. The room quality was good, we had an upper floor room overlooking adjacent buildings and countryside. Some of the ground floor rooms look straight into a canteen style restaurant, which seemed only to open at lunchtime, though we did not eat there. We were met at the jetty and a nice gentleman wheeled our bags to the hotel, about 8 minutes walk away.
mrmtlr (2/5): The hotel owner spat you. - On the day of arrival we were met by unfriendly staff. They did not immediately greet us. From the window of our room is visible a huge water barrel. No one garden. The front door is full of holes. Holes are sealed with tape (lol). The smell of cigarettes from passing people penetrates inside. The air conditioner is very loud noise outside the wall (poor sound insulation). You hear all your neighbors. Internet practically does not work (super slow). We reported all inconveniences to the “resort” owner, but he said: “you knew where you were going!”. I did not even apologize! Strongly not recommend this hotel. Expensive and no respect.

David (8/5): Reasonable choice - A reasonable choice on Ko Phi Phi which balances budget and location with sufficient distance from the loud beach parties, assuming you want to sleep at a reasonable hour. We were met off the ferry from Krabi by a nice gentleman who wheeled our baggage to the hotel, about 7-8 minutes flat walk from the pier. We paid extra for a deluxe room on the upper floor, which had a balcony and view across rooftops. The ground floor rooms though looked into a canteen style restaurant which appeared only to be open at lunchtime. We did not eat there but a buffet meal was 150B, looked OK. Recommend the walk to Long Beach, best beach without having to walk over hilly viewpoint.

D (4/5): - 2つのビーチが徒歩3分程度でロケーションは、良いです。北側のビーチはずーっと遠浅(300mくらい？)で、子供を遊ばせるには最高。南側のビーチは、多くの船がいますが、透明な水で、地上からでも魚が多く見られます。部屋のクォリティは低い。部屋には、隙間があり、砂混じり、蟻が入ってくる。鍵が壊れている。セキュリティボックスは固定されておらず、簡単に持ち出せてしまう。朝食会場は、外でハエが飛んでいる。港から近いが、砂混じりの凸凹路面をスーツケースを引いてくるのは大変でした。
m (4/5): Disappointing - Staff weren’t very helpful or cared about the toilet being broken for the whole of my stay. Didn’t even give me a different room. They ‘temporarily’ fixed it after I asked 3 times about it but it wasn’t fixed I had to fix it myself every time I used the toilet. Also the WiFi was appalling. Doesn’t look as nice as the photos So many cats around

Conor (6/5): - I don’t have a lot of bad things to say about this hotel but that being said, the room was not ready for check in time which honestly should never happen . The shower water smelled of rotten eggs for the first five minutes every time it was turned on so it stank up the room. The WiFi was sporratic at best in the night but I’m sure that’s typical . on the upside the hotel is away from the madness of the bar area and you can get solid sleep on the nice mattresses in the ac super cooled room.

Jerry (10/5): Awesome experience!!!! - Sub a great place to stay, away from the loud and bustling main party areas. The beach is awesome and clean. The food there wasn’t all that great on the resort but a short walk fixes any cravings you may have.

Heather (8/5): Nice, clean, large room. - The room was nice, clean and large. They did not provide shampoo which was displeasing but they did leave several bottles of drinking water. The bed appeared clean and was large and comfortable enough. The walk from the main path to the hotel is a little out of the way but it was on a quiet location.
Geovanny (4/5): Bungalows not in the best condition - Overall it was a clean and safe place to stay. The bungalows were in bad condition and there was a crack in the door that allowed mosquitos to get inside, very annoying. The access road to the hotel was not lit very well at night.
Javier (10/5): Beatiful room and location - Beatiful room, very comfy and air conditioner was great. Internet was very helpul and reallu good compared to other hotels in Thailand considering there is an island. Location was hard to find the first day but is close to the beach and far enough to not hear the music of parties at night. Bathroom doesn't have window so it's a little uncomfortable. One of the best hotels we stayed in Thailand.
Z (2/5): Dirty with weak A/C - We got to Phi Phi super excited and thought we booked a hotel that was perfect for us, boy were we wrong. As we walk in the staff seems to be making jokes about how the light fixtures were broken and the A/C will 'work better' soon. The whole place, especially the bathroom was filthy. Grime over everything. EVEN the kettle pot! Stuff bed with cheap, uncomfortable pillows and stains on sheets. The shower head wouldn't stay up so we had to help bath each other. We made the most of it since we had already booked the room for two nights and there was no refund if you cancel. I never like to write bad reviews, but I want to save fellow travelers from this place! Don't waste your money here!!
deniz (6/5): - It was in a prime location of phi phi, not right in the center, but a nice 10 minute walk, along the bay. The room was alright, wifi really good. Big negative is that there were flys everywhere, especially in the bathroom as the window style is a weird one where it’s never shut. The bathroom would be full of flies straight away if you turn the lights on at night, and there was even lizards in there. Also the shower stank.
GSinLV (8/5): Quiet Location on west side - Chongkhao was a nice place with basic amenities. About 10 minute walk to the action of the village, but still quiet enough to sleep. Worth the price if just looking for basic room.
Verified traveler (8/5): Nice clean place to sleep - We stayed here for a couple nights and it's a nice place to sleep, since you don't spend much time in your room anyways. A few things in our room were broken and the shower did not have warm water, but we managed and our stay being so cheap made it worth it.
ben (6/5): Quiet end of Phi Phi - We had lots of building work going on outside the room so was very noisy. Walls are very thin also as you can hear your neighbours. Room very tidy and air con is a gem.

Chung kao resor (10/5): Its a wonderful bungalow style hotel - It's close to everything on KPP ad you do walking everywhere. It's very clean, free water bottles which are invaluable to me.
Steve Wi (8/5): Nice hotel but location - It is in quiet area but a bit far from center. 15 mins walk with hot weather. Room was clean but shower is too weak. AC is not working without the key. There is one convient store which is not selling alcohol..Think about it. you are on holiday. no restaurant around. Internet is super slow. If you do water sports or stay out all the time, this hotel is perfect.

It's far away from all the party areas but close enough to walk to town with all the shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. Very close to the beach. I would recommend a room downstairs because I think you can hear the music at night from the beach in the rooms upstairs more than downs.

Faith (8/5): Would recommend, great stay! - Perfect location if you don't want to sleep where the party is. Koh Phi Phi is by no means a big island and many people we met were staying where the noise from the party dominated sleep. This hotel is quite literally a 1 minute walk from the beach, a 4 minute walk from the pier (really easy to find), and about 10 minutes from all the bars. Restaurants are all over and are well within 10 minutes. The service was solid, we did not have any issues with our reservation, nor room service. Everyone seemed pleasant and friendly. The room itself was clean and the wifi was very strong. We were able to use FaceTime without any breakup or lag. The shower ran both hot and cold water, which was a plus. The air con worked perfectly and had the room cooled off throughout the night. The room did have a refrigerator which came with daily, complimentary bottled water. Overall, well worth the price we paid for our stay. Would recommend to anyone
Magdalena (8/5): Nice and clean .. - There is almost nothing to complain. It was really hard to find something nice and clean and we have been so happy after spending the first night in the worst place ever. The room was clean, air con was working good, the room is nice and clean with balcony, we got free water, room service every day and free coffee and tea. IT was just a bit smelly outside because of the big restaurant and kitchen, but still ok. Would recommend it for that money!

Verified traveler (6/5): Nice place, shame about the manager ! - After mailing 3 times to request a transfer from the ferry, I finally received a reply which said we would be met at the pier. However after arriving at a very hot Phi Phi pier our transfer could not be found. After pacing the pier several times we gave up and attempted to find the hotel ourselves. By chance we found a trolley with our hotels name on it, so waited by it. Eventually our man turned up, after having done some shopping! Not the best start. Check in was extremely brief, with no helpful information forthcoming. The room and location itself were fine. The next day we were given towels with holes in - we use better on our dog. The next day the room wasn't cleaned at all, despite reminding reception twice. The next day the cleaner left the door to the room open , and the fridge door open. Almost every night of our stay I had to go to reception to complain about something. We have been travelling for a month around Thailand, having stayed in a variety of hotels, and have not had to complain or ask for anything in any other hotel - we do not complain without very good reason. In summary, it seems that the manager does not want to be there, as he has no concept whatsoever of customer service.
Verified traveler (4/5): Just ok. - This hotel was ok. If you are looking for a cheapish place for a few nights, this is the place. Just dont have high expectations. And dont eat the breakfast. The hotel is away from the nightlife but not far enough that you cant hear the music till 2am. Wifi was slow. To be honest there are nicer places to stay on the island so maybe think about somewhere else.
Shaun (4/5): - Hotel overall not that good stayed 2 nights. the room was not cleaned, had to fetch clean towels myself. I might be being over critical about the standard of hotel but that is because the standard of hotels on the island seems to be less than other islands. So see for yourself.

Adrian (10/5): An expensive beautiful little island - Room is clean & big with mountain view. Minibar & hair dryer provided. Near to Tonsai bay. Phi Phi is a only small little island but it is the most expensive area in Thailand. Even drinking water and normal thai food also cost twice the amount of those in Bangkok. So if you are a frequent traveller to Thailand, don't be surprised. Overall, Phi Phi is a very beautiful island with clear water colour. Enjoy !!!

Fran (8/5): Basic, away from the noise - The Chong Khao is a really basic hotel 10 minutes away from the coty cener of Ko Phi Phi. It's a good choice ifnyou don't want to bekept awake by the parties on the beach. The rooms are not cleaned dalily and the staff isn't extremely helpful.

Close to residential area but still near main shopping, tours and restaurants. Next to buffet restaurant and area quiet. Safe walking day and night. Room clean and updated. Walk up some steps to get to room. Free luggage storage.
Dize (6/5): Regular hotel, could be cheaper. - Room was very clean, but with some problems: the water in the bathroom sink was flowing slowly / when you take out the magnetic key ring of the wall everything turn off, including the fridge! That's ridiculous. We stayed on room 108, and paid 900baht with no breakfast, a little pricey, but it's phi phi, so it was expected. The AC was very good, the TV had just 2 or 3 English channels, not too much pressure on shower, but there was hot water, no bed bugs or cockroaches found, 1 min walking to loh dalam bay, around 5 min walking to the pier.

Jeff (8/5): Very convenient location away from the noise. - Nice clean room, very nice helpful staff and a great location. I'm not in the student age category but still enjoyed my stay. Yes, you can still hear the gentle beat of the beach party but not so bad as to affect your sleep. As for Phi Phi, it is very much a backpackers paradise mainly occupied by the under 30's although there was still a few of the older generation evident. Also, you get a good mixture of nationalities with most speaking English. There are plenty of places to eat/drink at very reasonable prices. The Thai food is excellent. A nice meal plus the obligatory beer would be around £5. The weather was fantastic, which always helps.
Brian (8/5): Fair Resort - We booked a deluxe bungalow. Our bungalow was at the very end of the resort only problem was it was down where alot of the Island workers where living. No outlook from our verandah just looking into building where they where staying? They where quite at night so they didn't cause any problems. Very quiet place to sleep at night could not hear any noise from the party area on the Island.
Ye (6/5): December 2015 - Disappointingly situated in between the two beaches with no view of either bays. However it is far away from the 24-7 party area. Clean and reasonable value for money, though a lot of noise from fellow resort guests and the canteen - located 5meters from the bedroom window.

Kiran Ganesh (8/5): Average hotel, 5 min to beach - Upon arrival at the pier, it's 10 to 15 min walk to the hotel. This hotel is located near to Phi Phi Hospital. Room average & it's 5 min walking distance to the beach. Add another 10 min walk to the hot spot location like pubs, shops, money changer and many more. Spectacular mountain view from the room. The room package does not come with breakfast. In a nut shell, everything in Phi Phi island is expensive so try to spend wisely.
Verified traveler (4/5): There are better places like this one - Good thing was that it was far away from the partyplaces...so no screaming, drunk people arround BUT rooms habe paperthin walls. Guests in the room next to us watched the whole DAY & NIGHT TV series non stop. It was so loud, it felt like they where standig in our room acting. Even with earplugs in, we could understand every single word they where saying. We knocked several times on the wall and begged to turn it off or a least a bit down. They where awake because we could hear them walking & talking, but nothing changed. Nobody was at the reception to assist. We could barely sleep at all... The bathroom smelled like sewage everytime you turn the shower on. The room & bed were worn down and nothing like on the pic. The breakfast was minimal but OK, Toast , Butter, jam coffe , tea... It was a bit strange to see all the staff appearing out of nowhere to help themselfes on coffee, toast and jam while guest having their breakfast. Sometimes we where left with just a few slices of toast and the 3 in 1 Coffemix satchels (maybe five every morning) where always gone and didn't get replaced. Another thing was the smoking in the breakfast area...not sure if they where guests or staff, but this shouldn't be allowed neither way. There where small children arround and other guests trying to enjoy their breakfast without constantly coughing the smoke away...
