• Idiono (8/5): - It's funny. Looking at the building from the outside, one would unfortunately not assume the best. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how neat and clean my room was. There were some (presumably lawn care workers) contractors on the premises who were using using heating devices outside. I am not sure how safe that is.

• Kristen (10/5): - I was worried about the Relax Inn because of how little it cost, but it was the perfect hotel for us! Its an older place but immaculately clean and comfortable! We had an issue with our toilet (just normal wear and tear) that was fixed almost immediately! It is a basic room, but ours had a counter, cabinet space, mini-fridge, and microwave. The water pressure in the shower was INCREDIBLE! It was comfortable and clean and thats all I need. I mean, not a speck of dirt anywhere. If i ever go out to Knoebels again, I'll be staying at the Relax Inn!

• Kate (7/5): Thank you, it’s good - It’s a nice location and a nice decent motel, especially for $70 a night. Family owned, and they are nice and reasonable hosts. Booking.com had set me up again and didn’t reflect my payment to booking.com to the motel. How?! It’s a second time I face this embarrassment and honestly, the last time. Instead of taking a well deserved break from a 3000 miles driving across the country, I was trying to prove to these good people that I am not a fraudster. For gods sake, I am a special needs mom with a disabled 6yo, I do not have time nor energy for this! However, the family was VERY nice, didn’t blame me and handled it perfectly professional. I really appreciate this. Great TV, cable. Clean nice sheets, enough space in the room to get around. Refrigerator and microwave It’s just minor moments like no coffee maker in the room, no ice machine (owner gave me the ice though, so it’s okay), small amount of dirt aligned with the bed line (I moved the bed to the wall so my autistic child wouldn’t fall ), no carpets displayed on pictures (important due to our self harm tantrums, but not important for most of other people).

• Richard (8/5): Relax Inn Bloomsburg - A very nice old style motel. Clean and comfortable. Quiet at night with no pets or any other disturbances. Room had a mini kitchen and a great shower. The shower needs grab bars to be safer. Overall a good place to stay for a very reasonable price. I’d stay there again.

It even has a small "kitchenette" with a microwave, fridge, and cabinets if you were staying awhile - but no stove. We were only there one night, but it seemed odd for someone staying awhile.

It looked like some people were there longer term. They caused no problems and there were only a few of them. The young man at the front desk was particularly nice and helpful. • Dennis (7/5): Quiet, comfortable and clean, but inadequate on expected convenience items and services! - Room was very quiet (except for the loud blower-fan of the wall-mounted heating/AC unit when set on either High or Auto mode); beds were very comfortable; room was spacious, with frig, microwave, and even a running kitchenette sink & countertop w/cabinets; clean; and with laminate floors, which seem cleaner than carpeted flooring found in most hotel rooms. Also, located along a road that offered many businesses and restaurants within short driving distance (between 1/8th-mile and 3 miles from motel). So-called "convenience" items/services were noticeably lacking/absent...i.e., items and/or services that are typically provided at most hotels/motels, such as: no ice machine (although owner did provide some ice upon request); no coat hangers (NOT EVEN ONE!) inside the motel room closet, compounded by no wall-mounted clothes hooks inside the bathroom; no facial tissue box in room; extremely poor-quality toilet paper; very sparse provision of bath towels (no smaller hand-towels at all); only one waste basket in room (whereas almost all other hotels/motels provide at least two baskets...one in bathroom and one in main room area); and no iron or hair-dryer in room. Also, there was a very limited selection of bath soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom of this quadruple room. And we had to request a third bath towel at the front desk, since we were a part of three but the room's bathroom was stocked with only two bath towels and two washcloths. The absence and/or skimping on such above convenience items made the accommodation feel "cheap" to us. Oh! The room had a rather strong smell of disinfecting/cleaning chemicals when we first entered, although that became almost unnoticeable after a couple hours' time.
• Jennifer (10/5): Little Hidden Gem - Nice & small family owned Inn. My room was surprisingly very large. King size bed was beyond comfortable and there was immediate hot water. Perfect for me for what i needed for the night.

• Willard (2/5): - The bed was like trying to sleep on rocks. Every spring provided a pressure point. Other wise old and outdated but clean. Room next door was cooking something in an electric pan on the side wall. They talked late into the evening but were as quiet as possible. Had I been able to sleep I wouldn’t have heard them. I can’t believe the high ratings clean was the best I could say.

It was a great overnight stop during a road trip. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pillows were very thin. This led to some soreness in the morning. Otherwise the stay was fine!

The only caveat I can think of was that the bed was sunk in the middle some as the mattress was a bit worn out. We only stayed one night, and this place was perfect for us. Everything was quiet, and checkin was easy.

Parking right at my door. Good food nearby (try Daana Paani or Penn Pizza). If you have time, take a walk along the river at the town park.

There was no table with chairs, no sink, and no counter space. The bathroom felt almost too small, everything very close together. The beds are very hard.

• Dagmar (4/5): Never again. You get what you pay for despite the good reviews. - Lots of good reviews, so we expected this place to be decent. The location/free parking was convenient for a visit with our Bloomsburg student. I don’t understand how this place got good reviews. There was no heat on in the room, so it was colder inside than out & it was 46 degrees outside. They had no other rooms available that had the heat on at our check in at 5pm. Apparently the reservation we made was forgotten, although they had the paperwork in a folder on the desk. The sheets & minimal towels were clean fortunately, but there were cracks in the walls & mold in the bathroom. We’ve been to other “classic” roadside motels like this that have been updated beautifully - no frills, but comfortable for a quick night’s rest when traveling. This was a disappointment.
