• Jochen (10/5): Nice architecture - - Very nice architecture and beautiful rooms. The pool area is right next to a very loud street and the restaurant on the other side. In the pictures it looks like it's surrounded by nature, but it's not. The room service took an hour for two drinks and one dessert, which was cold when it was delivered.

My parents (88 and 82 y.o) were happy with the food and the portion. The hospitality of the hotel staff was great. Unfortunately, the quality of the hotel facilities went downhill compared with when we stayed in 2018. We booked three rooms (for me and my husband, our kids and my parents). In my parents' bathroom, the shower tap was not working and there was a leak from the washbasin. The aircon in our kids' bedroom was not working. The bedsheet, the pillowcase and the curtain in our bedroom were dirty as if they hadn't been changed before we checked-in. There was also bad smell coming out of the drain.

We were at the restaurant at 8:00 a.m. My mother wanted to have breakfast at 9:00 because it was too early for her, but my little brother needed her to feed him. The staff told us we couldn’t stay because it was the breakfast area. I explained that my mother only wanted to order tea à la carte, but the staff still insisted that she had to leave the restaurant. So disappointed

• Syahrifah (10/5): Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with just a few minor issues . - The staff were very friendly and helpful, the environment was nice , the food was delicious and the bed was super comfortable 👍🏻 What I didn’t like was that the kettle wasn’t very clean, and the air conditioner kept following the outdoor temperature, so it got quite warm after a while.

Veel achterstallig onderhoud: jaloezieen voor het raam was kapot, vlekken in handdoeken en beddengoed, badkamer was flink verouderd en slecht onderhouden. Ook erg veel verkeerslawaai. Wij zaten niet eens aan de zijde van de straat. Tijdens het ontbijt buiten kan je elkaar nauwelijks verstaan.

• Elise (8/5): Prachtig hotel met goede keuken - Het gebouw en de kamers zijn prachtig. Het was fijn dat de kamers van ouders en kinderen verbonden waren met een tussendeur. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Dit prachtige hotel bevindt zich op een kruispunt van drukke wegen. We ontdekten pas na drie dagen dat het mogelijk is in de buurt een mooie wandeling te maken.

• Philipp (6/5): Okay für eine Nacht - Das Hotel macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Der Preis wirkte anfangs für das gebotene sehr gut. Allerdings liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und ist Recht hellhörig. Außerdem wirkte unser Zimmer sehr feucht. Sprich die (leicht fleckige) Bettwäsche fühlte sich feucht an. an unschönsten war allerdings das Bad. Es roch übel und man könnte an mehreren Stellen Schimmel entdecken. In Summe würden wir dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal wählen.

• Aggi (7/5): A perfect accommodation for a short getaway - The location is strategic, it is close to the city, but also not too crowded. A lot of restaurants nearby. It's only 10 minutes on bike to the place I work for my 4D3N stay. The room is unexpectedly spacious and could host more than 4 people if I want to. The breakfast is nice, but it would do better with more variety. The staffs are friendly, and the pool is nice. They have trees around the hotel, to be honest, there is no need for an Air Conditioner because the trees and the location is cold. I'm not sure if it's my problem (the cleanliness of my body since I worked until 1 am for 2 nights so I didn't shower before I go to bed) or it's the bedsheet that isn't clean enough, but I have my back itchy and red. The bathroom will be better with an exhaust, and the hairdryer turned off by itself after a few minutes I used it—only to turn back on after a few minutes I left it "recharge".

The breakfast is yummy, i think the chef is improving, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it is located at the heart of the city. I think they needs to fix the AC. It takes a long time to cool the room, and when it does, the temp is not too cold.

However, new room allocated was directly under their kitchen/restaurant area which is being renovated. So we were met with drilling and hammering directly under our room. LOUD. Moved again to another room. Two of the nights we stayed, they had big groups in their restaurant area in the evening. One of those nights with a very loud speaker system. Not what we expect booking into a hotel for a relaxing holiday. There was a letter in the room upon arrival apologizing for building works. However, as a courtesy we should have been informed when making the booking. This would have given us the opportunity to decide prior to arriving if this was acceptable for us. Breakfast was predominantly Indonesian food. It would have been nice to have more western options. Tried to book a tour, but staff did not get back to us. A beautiful hotel that unfortunately was a disappointing stay.

This hotel also have space room that you can rest and relax. I don't have complain. I think the price is the same with the quality
• Richard (7/5): Value for money in a period hotel. - I choose this hotel because of the architecture. The old city is full of 20’s-40’s architecture so I wanted to stay in a period hotel. Externally the facade and foyer are amazing, the period design stops in the rooms which are very comfortable and value for money. There are other similar period hotels but at a higher cost. We were upgraded to a room on the 4th floor with a balcony looking into the trees. The traffic noise was evident but not enough to disturb our sleep and the bed was so comfortable. To travel to the old city takes approx 20mins but that definitely depends on traffic which can add 45mins during peak hour. The pool area, is not the sort of area you would lie around. No sun lounges. The breakfast is all Indonesian except for the toast. But when in Bundung enjoy the beautiful local food.

Plus, we had a terrible night sleep due to being placed into a room with an adjoining room (shared locked door) with loud guests. The thin walls and door meant we got 2 hours sleep max: Crying baby, loud TV, loud wakeup alarms. What's more, the hotel could do with replenishing their linen.
