• Kenrick Athelson (10/5): - My initial room was not up to my expectations, so I paid extra to be upgraded. My upgraded room was spacious, cleaned daily, had a balcony and views of the surrounding area. The hotel staff were professional but courteous, creating a nice friendly enviroment.

• R3594WDtims (6/5): Reasonable quality hotel. - This is a reasonable quality hotel, close to the night market and a couple of blocks from the beach. I was confused by the location of the lobby, which was at the very back of the hotel, past the swimming area and restaurant. The swimming pool is mostly in the shade, which is good if you are trying to cool down and stay out of the sun. Breakfast is included, but for some reason the coffee is only 9:00-10:00?!

De kamers zonder balkon, zoals de onze, wisselend in samenstelling en omgevingsgeluid dringen best door tot in de kamer. De kamers met balkon (nieuwbouw?) zien er veel beter uit. Het ontbijt is zonder meer goed te noemen en ook het zwembad is heerlijk verfrissend.
• 548bennyh (2/5): Hållerborta. - Staff was rude. From frontdesk to breakfast to maintenance. Weakest AC ever. Breakfast so so. Room was big but very dated. This is a hotel mainly for Chinese people. Coffee maker at breakfast was one for home use. Needed constant refill of water.

• Explore137723 (2/5): Needs a lot of improvement both with the facilities and staff needs to be taught the proper customer service - The hotel is old, the bed is uncomfortable, towels are very old and needed replacement. The front desk especially the guy who were there was not friendly at all. First we were told our room was in the 2nd floor only to find out that it was in the 4th. The safe doesn't have an instruction, we called the reception. They sent someone who was also rude and just say this and that and then left without my husband knowing how it was done. Our room have 2 single beds, when I called the reception, arrogantly the big guy who greeted us said they don't have other room. The aircon remote is in Chinese character and we don't understand it. My husband went down to the frontdesk and wanted to talk to the manager, the arrogant staff suddenly become nice. Suddenly there was room with a big bed for couple. We ended up upgraded in the 5th floor with the same old room, old towels and this time there were only electric kettle no sign of complimentary coffee, tea just like in the other room. We had to ask. As for the breakfast, it was soso breakfast, nothing special. The two young staff who were there every morning were frowning all the time. Banging cups and plates as they put it on the table or when they took the ones that were used by the guests. They don't even greet the guests, they seem like they were in the labor camp and was only force to work there. The funny thing was the coffee maker was only available between 9 to 10, while the breakfast starts from 6am. Not to mention some hotel guests in big group from neighboring country that were very noisy and doesn't care about other guests. We will definitely not coming back.

Pool and jacuzzi excellent. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend to other guests. We got 5 star treatment for an unbelievable price. No negatives .

This was not a real issue as the beach was within walking distance and i prefer the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the whole place was constantly cleaned. Anna's cafe/restaurant served good basic food. Handy for shops and ATMs. The baht bus can be caught outside hotel in either direction.

• wentianc2014 (10/5): Cultural design, honest management, excellent value - I spent 11 happy days here, before moving to a guesthouse facing Jomtien Beach (Aiyaree was fully booked, and I thought a shorter walk to the beach would be nicer... My mistake ! ). The contrast between the 2 hotels has been an eye opener, reminding me just how much better run, and satisfying, Aiyaree was in comparison, and at a considerably better price. The rooms and furniture are refined, well-maintained, and beautifully matched. The decor of the hotel has an antiquarian charm that is sorely welcome in a place like Pattaya that, let's face it, is vulgar by Thai cultural standards. And the billing was transparent and accurate, in part because I booked through Expedia. (Beware of sleazy hidden charges when you book through Agoda !) As for the pricier, Scandinavian-run hotel I moved to... it is a case study in laziness and underhanded business practices. There is no sense of pride in hospitality, just old beat up furniture - perhaps to match the beat-up clientele it caters to in its bar. I commend Aiyaree for pulling through the Covid crisis with diginity and style. This is the side of Thailand that I look for and value. If I ever come back to Pattaya, Aiyaree would be my first choice. Last thing - Aiyaree draws from a wide range of visitors - from families to business meetings to solo adventurers. That's another good sign which I didn't fully appreciate at the time.

The hotel is obviously got its pricing policy correct because this was full even in this difficult economic time, I stayed in other hotels in the same area that had very few customers.

All staff were excellent, couldn't be more helpful. 😔 We had a mini-suite (which we thought would be a better room), but it was located in the back tower, so didn't have much of a view. It was double aspect but okay until you see the pool view the deluxe room get. 😢 My advice would be, is to book a Deluxe room with view over the pool and garden. But we didn't know that at the time. But the room we had was still very nice, with the breakfast room straight out the lift. 😁 Over all, we enjoyed the experience enough to book another week in a month's time (New Year). This time a deluxe room with balcony. And again in March hopefully. There are more modern hotels, but this one feels homely, it has character, and a good atmosphere about it. It beats slick, modern places with no atmosphere, in my opinion.

• ChockoChick (10/5): Excellent - We booked here for two weeks (during covid) due to the necessity of having to travel to sell our property and were immediately upgraded to a junior suite. We were very impressed with the facilities and the staff. They couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable, which I may add is not always the case in Thailand. It has a large fridge/freezer. Having the capability to make food in the room was definitely a bonus. We had Clean towels every day and the free wifi was superb. We will definitely return (after covid) and stay for a longer period, because the location (at the centre of everything) in particular and the helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable.

The hotel is surprisingly quite even though we had closest room to the street. The room has a bath tub and looks nice. The only thing that could be better was fitness place. There is not a lot of equipment to do any serious work out.
• Wander695665 (2/5): Stay Away - Credit Card Fraud - Four months after checking out of this hotel and paying for the room, this bank still had my credit card information. They made an enormous charge on my credit card and it's been hell getting my money back.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great staff but hotel in need of a few upgrades - Biggest issue was a faulty air con that blasted extremely cold air in spite of the staff's initial efforts to repair. Finally on last day they replaced a part and it was fine. Also, would be good to discourage people (especially the bus tours every night) from smoking in the lobby. TV was quite limited re the English speaking sports such as golf channel and Fox sports. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and helpful. On last suggestion: The restaurant should take credit cards.

Staff were very polite and helpful.The breakfasts were more Chinese than European but we managed pretty well . The pool is not big but most people found it O.K. From this hotel it was easy to find your way around .

We have noticed that the hotel has been taking steps to keep it in good shape. The breakfast area has been upgraded and more of a choice has been added. The pool area has some railings added and a kids corner. The hotel general area is kept clean. Staff were helpful with printing boarding passes for us. Location is great for our needs. My only small complaint would be the weak WiFi. We do not recommend the rooms without a balcony.

But it was ok because i went up to room right after getting key. Room was spacious and well accommodated (they had bathtub in room- great). The AC was a bit noise. • LukChang (6/5): Offers Value For Money - Tried to book online & could never get confirmation so emailed them. Still waiting for a reply to that email. After 2 days, I got a Thai to call & make the reservation for me. As we were travelling as a family I wanted the Junior suite which offered a larger room, 1 queen sized ben & 1 small bed. The room was in the second building and the furniture was a little dated. Also, the décor was in dark colors which made the whole room dark. Arriving very late at night I just wanted a hot drink, warm shower & sleep. The facilities list tea & coffee, neither were available, but luckily, I had my own, only to find there were no cups either. Warm shower & bed. The locks on the doors are impossible to close from the outside without slamming the door. Hence every time someone left the room you could hear the doors close. Bed was a little firm & the pillows very soft. Breakfast was served from 06:30 till 10:00 so I was told. We turned up at 09:00 expecting it to be quite busy, 1 other guest was eating. There was a small selection of Thai foods noodles etc, western food not so good. My daughter got the last fried egg, I got the last piece if ham, I suspect it had been busy earlier & they had not bothered to replenish the food. Just as we were about to go back to the room a waiter appeared with some more fried eggs. Paying for a large room with extra bed I expected another towel, this was not to be the case, so sharing towels for 3 guests. Check out was quick & simple. For the price paid this was an acceptable hotel, lower end of a 3-star hotel, but I get the impression they cater more for large tour groups and focus more on them. Wifi was available, but was slow in the room we stayed in, seemed to get better reception in the lobby.
• yennhicao (8/5): Nice hotel - The hotel location is near to the beach. The room is nice and tidy. Great swimming pool espeacially at night! Also the staff is very polite. In the morning they have buffet breakfast for the customer. But the wifi does not work in any floor!
• K5212BZmarkb (6/5): Decent hotel staff are friendly - The hotel is old. I had an issue with my A/C freezing up. They fixed it. The bed and room are comfortable and some units have a kitchenette. There were no cooking utensils and I did ask about getting some from the hotel. Pool is very nice and staff are eager to make sure your stay is nice. The hotel does seem to be used mostly by Chinese tour groups and the breakfast was more Chinese than Thai. Solid "basic" breakfast but nothing really exciting. for the price it is a great deal and directly across from Jomtien Complex. If you are ok with a basic hotel (Motel 6 or Super 8 quality then you will be fine here. If you have a family and want multiple beds their larger rooms are nice and the price is great.
• xuhariver (6/5): Average hotel - Stayed here in two nights of four nights in Thailand. The hotel is for group tour. Room is good, clean, the room door with 2 locks (the magical lock is out of work). the breakfast is limited, not many for choice. Staffs is not friendly and English not good. Wifi is okey. I not tried the swimming pool because it has bad smell (chemical, chlorine ). Check in procedure is not effective. Not recommended this hotel for individual guest, group tour is okey.
• adrian (6/5): hotel close to dive shop - The rooms were nice, large and clean however there were no utenciles in the kitchenett so weren't able to use it. Hotel staff were hard to communicate with. Next to no tourist brochures in reception. We used Triposo app in the end. Breakfast was horrible just young Thai lads preparing it no chef really 0 out of 10 for that, no covers over the fruit so covered in flies the coffee was as thick as tar. Cornflakes and milk was all I could stomach. It was next to dive shop so saved us time traveling to a fro
