- Kevin (8/5): - Parking was great, room was spacious, but the bathroom was outdated and pretty gross considering there was mold on the peeling ceiling.
- Ed (10/5): A real Gem of a stay - The room was spacious, very clean, & very well located to walk to train or shopping in Summit. Service was outstanding.
- Carmel (10/5): - Overall excellent, with the only exception a need for black out curtains.
- David (10/5): - We love Turkey Hill for its charm, cleanliness and great location. Price is reasonable
- Raphael (10/5): - Good
- Rodger (10/5): - Very nice locational and worth the price.
- Deborah W (10/5): Superb Stay @ Turkey Hill Inn - This is our second visit to Turkey Hill Inn and absolutely love it! Our room was very comfortable, clean, with fresh linens and a coffee maker with pods and cream. The location is superb! We easily walked down the hill 2 blocks to dinner, followed by a stop at Starbucks for coffee. The Turkey Hill Inn is perfectly located 1 - 2 blocks from downtown Summit, NJ, making for easy shopping and dinning. I highly recommend this for your visit to Summit, NJ.
- john (10/5): Happy in Summit - Amazing room. Clean and convenient location. Easy check in.
- Marshon (10/5): - I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this charming inn for two nights, and it exceeded all of my expectations.
The atmosphere is a perfect blend of cozy and elegant, with thoughtful touches throughout that show how much care has been put into every detail.
The location was also ideal: peaceful enough for relaxation, yet close to local attractions, making it easy to explore during the day.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a stay that is both relaxing and memorable. I can’t wait to return!
- Patricia (8/5): - Room 2 was in need of repair ie ceiling, towel bar in bath, uneven carpet was trip n fall issue.

- Judith (8/5): - Easy walk to the work I had to do, and train within easy reach. Nice to have a coffee before venturing out. Had two weeks of temporary work in Summit, so I found the location most convenient.
- Jason (10/5): - Well maintained older mansion. Easy walk to the downtown, train and everywhere we wanted to go. The deluxe suite is enormous, with 2 fully separate rooms - wonderful for a family.
- Jeff (10/5): - Loved the unique furnishings and Victorian style. The Inn was super convenient, easy to access and a great space.
- Katharine (10/5): - This is a beautifully maintained inn, a lovely change from typical hotel rooms. I have stayed here several times due to its uniqueness, large rooms, short walk to town yet very quiet location and it has all the amenities I like.
- Shana (10/5): - Customer service was excellent. The staff were nowhere to be seen (which I like!) but when a snow storm changed my original plans the hotel was understanding and helpful.
The room was well organized and comfortable, parking lot was small but I never had an issue finding a spot during my stay.
The rate was a good value, especially for the location - wanted to be in Summit & the town/train station was easily accessible via foot. Will definitely be coming back.
- John (10/5): - Absolutely gorgeous time, had no issues. Loved the decor, will stay again!
- Judith (8/5): - Close to plenty of restaurants and park area. Had a large room with several windows. Have stayed there several times, and find it's location to be the best feature.

- alex (10/5): - All good
- Caroline (10/5): - Lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated rooms, and such a warm place to relax after long day of driving or full day of activity. Very easy check-in and highly recommend Turkey Hill Inn to anyone traveling.
- Rita (8/5): - This an adorable bed and breakfast, without the breakfast!
Its conveniently located near our children and grandchildren. We didnt notice until this morning that the farmers market was there! Quaint place.
- Tao (10/5): - It is very nice European style house. We love the elegant decoration and quiet neighborhood, while it is so close to the summit downtown which offers variety of food and shopping options.
- Catherine (10/5): - Our stay at Turkey Hill Inn was delightful. The old house is full of nostalgia and charm. Our king size bed was soft and comfortable. The room is provided with microwave, fridge, keurig, Kcups, real mugs and wine glasses. We had a lovely stay!
- Tao (10/5): - Great location and nice clean room
- Daniel (10/5): - Communication was great They also let me use the parking before check in time as I arrived earlier than expected. Very courteous.
- Bonita (10/5): - I have stayed there before. It is very clean, wonderful staff, clear information about checking in and out, location is terrific, easy communication. I hope to stay there again.
- Michelle (6/5): - Old and unkempt. I love an old inn but there were bushes dying in the front of the inn, cracks and water damage the walls and ceiling; carpet old and stained.
Comfortable bed.
- Rodger (8/5): - Turkey Hill Inn is a great value with a very quiet and comfortable stay
- camille (10/5): charming - quant victorian inn with max privacy and easy parking
- scott (8/5): - Nice and clean walking distance to food and coffee.
- kiran (6/5): My Turkey Hill Inn stay 6/25 - Love the old history, but needs refresh/updating especially bathroom, a tech charging, bathtub/shower, flooring etc.
- Lena (10/5): - We stayed at Turkey Hill inn, Summit NJ for one night. Our room was big and cleaned. The only negative thing was a very loudly working air conditioner. Everything else was great. Would stay again if in that area.
- joseph (10/5): - Owner and staff very helpful and friendly
- Nakia (10/5): - Clean well air conditioned comfortable bed
- Oscar (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Douglas (10/5): - Beautiful building. Spacious, clean, Quiet, and comfortable room.
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Interesting older home that was converted to an inn. Very small bathroom and many old and worn items. Should have had 2 chairs in the room for a couple to enjoy a glass of wine together.
- Kristine (10/5): - Spacious room. Perfect location. Walked to lots of restaurants and small shops. Quiet and lovely town.
- Ann (8/5): - Very very challenging for those with mobility issues; precarious stairs
- Bob (10/5): - I found the inn to be very charming and comfortable.
- Diana (8/5): - Nice clean, spacious & quiet room. Comfortable bed
- Bruce (10/5): - Self check in and it was like a large house small mansion with private rooms very quiet and clean and well organize the way they have it set up
Love, the fact that you could walk to the downtown, which is a block away and multitude of restaurants and very festive
I would definitely stay there again and recommend it over a large hotel chain and be so close to a little village, which is high-end and classy
- Darren (10/5): - Lovely Inn. Well located and peaceful.
- Nora (10/5): - It is a lovely house and well cared for! The bed was comfortable and the house was quiet for sleeping! We have stayed here in the past which led to us making a reservation here this time.Thank you for the cleanliness of our room as well as the whole house!
- Rob (10/5): - Quiet.
Easy check-in
Restaurants, cafes and shops only a couple blocks away.
- Joanne (10/5): Lovely quaint Inn in a nice location - Lovely old historic Inn located in the heart of downtown Summit. It was very convenient (walkable) to many restaurants and shopping in this little town. The value for our 2 night stay was excellent. We went into NYC to the Met and were able to stay for 2 nights in Summit for less than one night would have been in NYC, and parking is free!! The commute was easy into the city.
The suite was almost like an apartment size, minus a kitchen (but did have microwave and fridge). The bathroom could use a little upgrade. Overall would definitely stay again if we have plans in NYC.
- Dennis (8/5): - I liked the quaintness of the Inn from the sitting room, the old telephone booth, the grandfather clock, the posted history of the Inn and the City of Summit, as well as the old murals.
- Adrian (10/5): - They had my room ready earlier then i expected. Very kind of Maria.
- Donald (10/5): - Cute affordable place in safe location - walking distance to train and downtown.
- Benjamin (10/5): Wonderfully Pleasant - Wonderfully pleasant place to stay. No negatives whatsoever.
- Jean Marie (10/5): - Great!
- Matthew (10/5): - Super charming, a but dated and worn even considering the age - but the location, hospitality, and value more than make up for it
- Donald (10/5): - Not your traditional hotel property. It is more comfortable and home like. I much prefer this to a hotel.
- Alexa (10/5): - It was great! Looks a bit haunted but that's ok lol
- Christopher (8/5): - Good
- Maura (8/5): - It’s interesting old time property. Not a service person in site.
- robert (6/5): - The property was ok for the price. Decor was nice, done with mostly antique looking furniture. The room was clean but quite run down. A window in the sitting room had a lot of rot from water damage, the carpet looked old and matted. There were patches on the ceiling from what I believed was a water leak and it was never repainted. The whole place just needed a total renovation.
- Juan jose (6/5): - Nice location. Property needs better maintenance/care
- Brian (10/5): Enjoyable location and Accommodation - This was a very clean place with a nice size room. Staff was prompt and helpful since we were a last minute booing. Residence had easy parking and in quiet area. A very unique place to stay and very reasonably priced.
- Theodore (10/5): - The location is private but yet you're in walking distance to everything
- Terri (8/5): Nice place, but couldn’t figure out hot water. - Beautiful old building with spacious unique room and lovely old furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. Our only problem was no hot water in tub. There was plenty in sink, but we couldn’t get past tepid/cool in the shower. If that worked I would give this place all 5 stars. And the location was excellent.
- Carmen (10/5): Quaint Inn - The Inn is quaint. If you have luggage, you must carry it up the steps to enter the Inn. My accommodations came with a living room, dormitory refrigerator and microwave. I had a bedroom also which was great with a roomy bathroom.
I would stay at the Inn again. The are large beautiful mansions in the area.
- Xiaolan (8/5): - It is actually a big three floor house thus no elevator but only stairs, not that convenient if you carry luggage. A little old but nice mid-century style interior. No kitchen but have a refrigerator and a microwave. One thing is the noise from the upper stairs, very clear footsteps.
- Theodore (10/5): - The surrounding area
- Teddy (10/5): Peaceful and Quiet - We truly enjoyed our stay, it was very quaint and refreshing from the hustle and bustle of a average hotel stay. The room was great and very spacious.
- Sherona (2/5): - There was no heat in my room l complained to Maria but no response
- Neil (6/5): - Lovely building with lots of period features. Unfortunately the interior is very dated and requires considerable refurbishment.
It is very conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the main area of Summit.
This could be a stunning property but just requires investment.
- Gilberto (8/5): - Very comfortable, clean and everything that I need to rush👌
- Jill (10/5): - We had a lovely stay while visiting family in a part of the country We had never visited.
The room was charming. The staff very helpful.
We will be back.
- Laura Lyn (8/5): - Enjoyed my two night stay, a very unique place, an old victorian home complete with antique furnishings. Great location , very quiet.
- Patty (10/5): - We booked suite 1 A and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the accommodations were. We had a very large bedroom with a king bed and a large sitting room with comfy sofa and chairs, as well as a fridge and microwave. The neighborhood was so quiet, and so was the inn, so sleeping was peaceful. And the walk to the charming downtown area is only 2 blocks so very accessible. Lots of nice shopping along with many coffee shops and restaurants. On site parking is a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway!
- Elisabeth (10/5): - There should be instruction to use the coffee machine. Everything else very nuce
- Selina (10/5): - Very simple check in, great area, great price!
- Helen (10/5): - I love this charming, welcoming, peaceful, perfectly located inn. This was my second stay in the same spacious and comfortable room, and I would not change a thing. I highly recommend the Turkey Hill Inn to anyone visiting the Summit area.
- andrea (10/5): - This is a beautiful place, I would definitely recommend it. The owners and staff were great and helped us in anyway they could. It’s a unique, quaint place to stay with a great location. I can’t wait to go back!
- William (8/5): I'd stay again - Quiet. Clean. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
- Helen (10/5): - Great place to stop for a couple of days while visiting family. Love that there is dedicated parking.
- randolph (10/5): - Well located, clean, nice room, easy check in
- Jill (10/5): - A lovely stay. It is a safe and beautiful neighborhood. Walk less than 5 minutes to many dining and shopping options. The rooms were large and very clean. Quiet restful night sleep. I travel for work. Wifi great.
- Lynn (10/5): - Very comfortable and quaint. Wonderful service. Location is great. Will definitely come back.
- Samantha (10/5): - We had an incredible stay for my daughter's 18th birthday trip. Everything is in walking distance. Safe and clean city! Maria even let us hang out in the palor/living room area past checkout until our ride arrived to take us to the airport. We will definitely be back and stay here again.
- Jonathan (10/5): - The hotel is a couple of blocks away from downtown summit and the train to NYC. The interior is a little dated, but functional and comfortable. The area is extremely safe and walk-able. There does not appear to be any management staff on site, i.e. fully automated. But their system did work and it was a nice stay.
- Lauren (8/5): Good - The location was good. We were able to walk to dinner. Parking was included. The property was older but the rooms were a good size. It just looked dated. The room was too warm. I wish there had been a ceilimg fan.
- Kelly (10/5): Great Historical Hotel - I needed a hotel near the surgery site - this hotel was great - the room was large and comfortable. It is a histrixal building right in Summit- walking distance to many places to eat - free parking and the room had a fridge and microwave
- Reinero (10/5): - Quiet old time charm and close to downtown, would definitely stay again!
- Christoper (10/5): - The room is big and very clean. There is no front desk but it feels like coming home. It's nice to stay in a real room, a big room, after paying 3x as much for a tiny "suite" in Manhattan.
- Jean Marie (8/5): - This is a charming, homey place to stay in Summit, NJ- an easy two blocks to the midtown direct train to NYC. A gem!
- Helen (10/5): - I enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Turkey Hill Inn and will definitely return. The location is perfect, an easy stroll to the center of town and close to everything, including the train to NYC. The staff at the inn are wonderful, and the whole vibe of the place is warm and welcoming. It's also a quiet, comfortable, charming place to get some work done. I would highly recommend the Inn to everyone. Thank you for a lovely stay!
- David (10/5): - Very nice property in great location
- Irene (8/5): Very comfortable and Spacious - The room I had was a suite with a bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and a livingroom. It was very spacious and quiet. There were a few negatives, however. The faucet of the bathroom sink was awkward and difficult to maneuver between hot water and cold. Also when watching the television it kept buffering and freezing, so we could not enjoy watching. Other than those issues it was a very comfortable place to stay.
- Annie (10/5): - Bill was super helpful when needed. Lovely charm. Comfortable bed.
- Helen (10/5): A gem in Summit - Delightful property in a heart in the heart of Summit. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Clean and well equipped. Much better than staying in a chain hotel! Maria was in regular contact and the check in process was seamless. Would return in a heartbeat
