• David (9/5): Very pleasant holiday facility with all the facilities that we required. - Welcoming provision of breakfast items was much appreciated. Apartment was clean and tidy and well located barely 100 metres from the beach. Free Wi-Fi provided was a bonus. Lovely clean swimming pool on site. While some parts were showing some signs of age there was nothing to not like about the apartment.
• Nicolas (9/5): Amazing time at coral sands! - Very comfortable, felt like home! Very clean, nice walkout and close to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked which was important to us. Comfortable beds, lots of good local info in the book provided. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend! The air conditioning is an extra charge and not shown upon booking- misleading and should be advetised differently. we talked to a few other people staying at the property who had the same issue with their hooking sites
• Victoria (10/5): On behalf of all of us, thank you Brent and Eve and the team at Coral Sands for hosting family. - Tidy accomodation that suited our needs as a family of 9. Understanding and discreet hosts and very quick to respond to queries. Friendly maintenance and house keeping team. Everything was well kept and we were left to just enjoy our holiday. A short walk to the fantastic beach side restaurant and bar WaterLine...that became our favorite place to eat and have cocktails at sunset. Great sunsets and whale activity on the Westside. I also liked that Coral Sands was amongst the locals and meeting them was also a bonus. I like a softer bed and im sure Brent would've provided me another foam topper of Id asked.

• Johnny-Lee (10/5): Perfect location, pool and sun beds were great. - We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and a one bedroom apartment for eight of us, it was perfect for us. All my friends were very happy with the facilities and the price! The only downfall was Aircon was extra but understandable at the same time. Also maybe a bigger couch in the three bedroom apartment.

Check in was also super easy I arrived quite late in the night and had no hassles with check in. Felt very safe and secure aswell being a solo traveller. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Rooms are fully equipped aswell for cooking, etc. Prime location for some beautiful beaches aswell.

Thank you - - The access to the private beach, with the option of the private pool to enjoy - close proximity of shops - Friendly & approachable staff that was always ready to help. - Easy communication with Brent & Eve, very accommodating to last minute request. They also checked in when we arrived.
• Dave M (9/5): Coral Sands - Gas hot water, ceiling fans, clean pool, proximity to lagoon, bbq, Netflix and YouTube available on tv, free, good wifi. Great communications, friendly, accommodating staff Minor gripe - Aircon was an extra, unable to cast to tv in the room we stayed in (could cast to tvs in other rooms...). These did not detract from our stay. Noisy at night - this was Raro in general, not the fault of the apartments - bring earplugs for the dogs and roosters!

• Casey (9/5): Lovely Stay - An absolute pleasure to stay at these apartments! We had a 2-storey apartment for 7 guests. There was plenty of space in the main living room downstairs, with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (upstairs), a big fridge/freezer, microwave, stove-top, and all the essentials for the kitchen that you'll need. Plenty of beach & shower towels to go around. They was an awesome big BBQ & BBQ area with oil, paper towels, & spatula provided. Awesome wee private pool for the guests - always clean. Right by the beach - 30 sec walk to the seaside. Lots of space for parking. The Hosts were lovely. 1 small washing machine that cost $6 a load and had to use coins to pay, but not the triangle ones. Difficult with the number of guests we had & to try get coins to pay for all the washing we had

• Christine (10/5): Fabulous week in Rarotonga. We were very happy with our accommodation - We loved the quiet location with a very short walk down to the beach. Very clean and comfortable units. Beautiful pool for a swim. Bus stop close by. We loved the accommodation. Nothing to not like.
• Joel (8/5): It was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our holiday at Coral Sands Apartments - Great location and nice, spacious 3 bed 2 bath apartment for our family of five. Lovely setting by the beach and with food and coffee places available within short walking distance. Filtered/UV treated water provided, mosquito nets on all windows was good for peace of mind (although we didn't see any mozzies at all) . Flippers and water shoes were provided to use. Tea, coffee, milk, a loaf of bread and spreads plus a few little packets of cereal were provided. You can call the hosts on a phone they provide in the apartment if you have any questions. Just a minor thing but consumables such as toilet paper, shampoo, soap etc isn't replenished if you run out of these during your stay. We ran out of TP as we were there 6 days as a group of 5 adults. So if you are there longer than a few days you will probably need to buy more of some items

Angel the cleaner was amazing to always asking if we needed anything and was super helpful. The rooms were clean, pool was perfect and only a short walk to the beach where we could sun bath and swim! The room I stay when we sleep we both roll in middle as Mattress was loose. Wake up every morning with bad back. I book room for 5 days so I expected at least the tea coffee enough for five days for two of us. Was enough for two days . Owner was very generous and he even left a loaf of bread for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment and if I make another trip than will return to this apartment. The price I paid for my stay was definitely worth it. Location is excellent and views to.

The unit was very compact. You have to pay for air conditioning, which wasn't a problem for us as the weather wasn't too warm.

Lots of resorts, bars, shops and stalls close by. 10mins in to town by car and 10mins down the road to Aroa Beach marine reserve for good snorkeling. Comfortable bed and spacious rooms. Shaded outside courtyard with seating. Clean pool to swim in. New BBQ Whole facility very clean and tidy. Bathroom could do with a freshen up (renovation) and some shelving in the bathroom to put cosmetics, sunblock, medicine, etc on. Shelves in the wardrobe to place clothes on would be beneficial too.
• Deborah (9/5): Great self catering accommodation - Lovely location, enjoyed free use of Wifi, snorkeling equipment & reef shoes. A lovely touch was a mobile phone in each apartment to make local calls for bookings and wifi use if needed. There was also breakfast food for a few days provided ready in the room. We were in Apartment 2, and it was comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. Only a few meters walk to the beach to watch the beautiful sunsets. There are few spots to cool off at the beach, but it's better to jump in the car to close swimming and snorkeling beaches nearby. Really enjoyed our stay. No issues

• Michelle (10/5): - It was perfect my son and I had our own individual apartment which suited sustainable living with a lovely salted pool to swim in all day & nigh & our own beach access was very nice the currents are a bit strong but we enjoyed that and sunbathed on the sand if you like. independent living where you can be quiet without all the crowds of people, the coral sands is the perfect place to stay there is just enough people that you felt like it was a small family community not the big hustle and bustle of over crowded hotels. Brent & eve are wonderful people with very helpful staff 👍

• Sandra (10/5): Freaking awesome totally recommend Coral sands - How easy it was to find as was clear from the road . How there was useful information in the book in room , the utilities room with dvds which we used just do much and also the mobile phone in room with $5 credit to use was very helpful as we had to use to book cruises. The Locstion for the bud was right outside and the access to the beach 🏖️ I would recommend to put some lighting on the pathway from rooms to beach as when sun goes down we had to use torch on the phone as was pitch black. Also was fun 🤩 Everything the location, to the people who stayed there even with their children were respectful. And totally the owners Brent amd Eve were amazing and also the last housekeeper for making flowers 🌷 arrangements for my partners 50th .
• Lorena (7/5): Good - Value for money, clean and tidy all one needs. Walking distance to some great restaurants. We prefer that part of the island as it is not so windy, but one has to travel to decent beaches.

Off street parking Snorkel gear provided Kitchen equipped quite well. Beach access from property, is very close, with amazing sunsets. Towels, seemed old and thin. Didn't find the beds or lounge seating comfortable. Had hoped for a more luxury feel. Private garden area backed on to road, loads of traffic noise and fumes. Beach not really a swimming beach

• Sindai (10/5): Best holiday ever ❤️ and First holiday abroad with a little person. - The mindful-ness of the complex. upon arrival there was water at the front of the apartment to wash sand off your toes, a jug of cold freshly filtered water in the fridge, and the room kept at a nice chill temperature! All of these things a god send after arriving from NZ. The whole experience and reminders that as a guest on the island that water and electricity are precious commodities ♥️ and tips to minimize where possible, without inconveniencing you or locals. Recycling ♻️ facilities available to you, as well as on-site laundry and washing line! The beach less than 50m away, with beautiful views and sunsets. A quiet atmosphere at home that is relaxing (rather than overwhelming and busy common at resorts). A beautiful salt water plunge pool available, kept in immaculate condition by wonderful staff. An amazing and helpful team of caretakers (and owners) who are eager to provide advice, assistance and island wisdom! FREE, reliable and fast WiFi that enabled me to work while on holiday, keep my little person busy and communicate with friends & family back home - without costing the earth! Which differed from our resort experience - being unreliable wifi available for $5per day, per device 🥲. It gave me a Tauranga (NZ) vibe, within the complex. Could not have asked for a more relaxing environment to holiday. Thank you 😊

• Vanessa (9/5): The perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy Rarotonga - The property was well positioned with an almost immediate access to the beach, which was a great area to sit and enjoy the water, sunset and the calm that is Rarotonga! There were many added extras like sand toys, life jackets, flippers, water shoes, books, DVDs and puzzles for you to use while staying with them. The on-site laundry and clotheslines were appreciated and there was also a private courtyard behind the room which was a lovely added bonus. The patio off the top floor was a great spot for looking out onto the beach and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The food provided was an added bonus and hugely appreciated, especially the first morning we arrived. Climbing the steps to go to bed after a long day haha! But in all seriousness, for the price, we cannot fault the property at all.

Beach was great but not a swimming beach however it was close to other beaches that you could swim at. Great place for big groups of friends and families who want to be together but also have their own spaces. Facilities was clean and tidy. Owners and staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. Definitively would stay here again.

Or the pool right outside your apartment for those who want a more secure option. Friendly and extremely helpful staff who go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful safe. Brent and Eve are super super lovely. Loved having my name on the door as we entered too. I will definitely be coming back soon

• Holly (5/5): Honestly would not stay again… - Free wifi. Friendly owners who helped with anything we needed like transport from airport. Nothing like the pictures. “View of the pool” it had a view of the carpark. No sound proofing- could hear everything outside and from neighbours. Towels were old and rough. Shower water would keep going really hot then cold. “Breakfast included” was a loaf of bread in the fridge. Room is very dark and everything outdated- badly in need of renovations. “For sale” sign at the front was the first red flag.

• Mandy (8/5): Excellent value & lovely hosts - Beautifully clean and very generous welcome pack of breakfast supplies - loaf of fresh sliced grainy bread, buttered, spreads, litre of milk, meusli & corn flakes, plunger coffee; lasted us the whole 6 days. Laundry was handy, free dvd hire, lovely hosts. Beach was a little disappointing out front too rocky & not able to snorkel there but we were just a short drive to 2-3 excellent spots.

• Erin (8/5): Good accomodation on west coast - Brent was very helpful in his communication prior to our arival. Spacious, comfortable unit. Water from the room's kitchen tap is treated and safe to drink and wifi included. Lovely beach access (we saw whales of the coast) and not too far from a couple different restaurants/cafes. Plenty if parking on site if you rent a car or moped. Worth noting the property has a couple larger units and there is a chance you'll be booked in at the same time as a larger family/group. Luck of the draw as to noise levels and use of the shared pool.
• Ashleigh (10/5): Cute apartment vibes! - The apartment was super cute! So close to the beach and Brett and Eve were fabulous hosts! They had quick comms, popped by to check in and just gave the extra 10% - which is something I'm always looking for! Would definitely consider booking here again!
• Len (6/5): Adequate, but probably wouldn't stay there again. - Cereal, tea bags, coffee, milk and spreads provided. Keys left in unit as late arrival (02:30am). Walking distance to car rental and several good restaurants. TV didn't work. Slightly dated, but we knew we weren't paying for a top class resort. The adjacent lagoon wasn't swimmable.
• Emily1098 (9/5): Superb - Place was great! Good location by a beautiful beach. Our apartment was really comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was a little smaller than I expected, which meant with one other group there it could feel a bit crowded but was often empty so didn't matter too much.
• Christine (10/5): awsome 🥰 - the kids deffs loved the pool , the cleanness of the property , the peacefulness of the whole place (when kids were rowdy 😅) perfect for a big group BBQ area, Pool , fan option or air conditioning

• Rhyannon (10/5): - The property had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. Everything in the kitchen is in good condition and well thought out. The knives are even sharp. The hosts communicate everything about the property and now have internet included. The Pool is great for the family and having the beach so close is great for small kids.
• Bill (8/5): Good value for money. - Liked the breakfast starter pack, the great shower pressure, snorkelling gear available, Smart TV so could sign into Netflix, free wifi, helpfulness of owner. Not a sea view but was very close to beach. Gas cylinders noisy at night but we learnt to shut those windows & was much better. Bed was OK.
• Kylee June (10/5): - We had a great stay at Coral Sands. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - pool, clean rooms, laundry facilities, bbq and it’s at the footstep of the ocean. The location is great too - close to the town and many good eateries are within walking distance. It was lovely to see other families staying and enjoying themselves. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as were Brent and Eve (the owners). Thanks for a great holiday!
• Tutangata (10/5): Fantastic family friendly accomodation - Very welcoming and genuine hosts. Fantastic space for my family with a pool steps away from our accomodation. It has everything we would have wanted or needed. Very close to the airport, handy to the buses and very close to my favourite Cafe, Beluga. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
• Jacqui (8/5): Good self catering apartment in good location. Comfortable, quiet and Value for money. - Location, comfort, pool and close to beach
• Paula (4/5): - This property sadly has little going for it, apart from its staff who communicate well when they are there. It is tired, and overpriced 23 star at a push, sadly it has little going for it.
