Guest Reviews
- JORGE (2/5): - UNSAFE
- William (2/5): THIS IS A SCAM - NO SUCH PLACE! - This motel does NOT EXIST! I demand my money back and my credit card is withholding payment. First bad experience with hotels.com. Listen up hotels.com - - you need to remove this listing because it does not exist!
- CHAD (2/5): NOT A HOTEL - When I arrived the property is chained up. They are no longer a hotel. I was turned away and had to find other accommodations
- Donald (2/5): - A former hotel turned homeless shelter that was absolutely filthy.
- Mohamed Amine (4/5): - There was no blanket and it was cold
- Ann (2/5): - This place is a dump. No TV, no freaking blankets on the bed. Looked like the door had been jacked before.
I'm grateful we didn't get murdered while we were there.
- Hamza Kenneth (2/5): - Todo es un desastre
- Napoleon (2/5): - Fue una esperinsa de sagradable mucho ruido holia asusio como cuando fuman drogas y el personal tocando la puerta y tratando de abrir no lo recomiendo
- Verified traveler (2/5): - He didnt stay there were cockroaches and smelled like the staff were smoking in the building. The floors were DIRTY and just traffic dirty but filth
- Blair (8/5): - Much safer than last stay. Heavy police presence.
- 645trentm (2/5): DRUGGIE HOTEL - West temple motel 6. We went to stay for a night close to a friend's/family members house. The hotel gave us room 141, I had went in as as usual check for any such of bugs or anything and as soon as I lifted the mattress there a was a butt load of needles We had asked the office for a refund as I wasn't gonna have a kid in the hotel that had needles. They told us they couldn't do a refund but could give us a different room. The gave us a different room witch we looked everywhere didn't find anything so we decided to stay. We had unloaded and went down to the Loves truck stop. As we were leaving people decided to play music through a loud ass speaker walking around. Many druggies had walked all around by trash can in the back and into one hotel to the other. This place was nasty hotel wasn't cleaned. Barely got sleep very horrible place to stay DONT DO IT. if you want someone close to salt lake I reccomend paying the extra for a better hotel else where and not on north temple
- Gary (6/5): - Just a ved fir the bight before early flight.
Bed was fine. Room old, small, but comfortable. Front door room 101 was difficult to open even from inside
- Chris (2/5): - Unsafe tried to get into contact with management about the dried blood in the room and they did not get in contact with me so I refused to stay
- Barbara (4/5): - I recently stayed at a hotel I had enjoyed before due to its affordable rates and pet-friendly policy. Prior to my trip, I called to check the pet fees. A staff member informed me it was $10 per day per dog, which I found reasonable, especially since I always keep my three small dogs with me. They’re well-behaved and weigh about the same as a single medium dog.
However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that the management had changed, and the pet fee had increased to $25 per dog per day. This was much higher than what I’d been told on the phone and nearly three times the original cost. I explained my earlier call and the price I was quoted, but the desk staff wasn’t able to offer any flexibility or assistance with the new fees.
During my previous stays, the hotel had been a great budget-friendly option for me, with clean beds and a comfortable environment. The $10 per day pet fee was manageable, even with my three small dogs, and I appreciated the hotel’s pet-friendly approach. But with the new rate, it’s become too costly for me to continue staying here.
While I understand that pet fees help ensure all pets and rooms are well-cared for, I hope management might consider offering a fairer policy for responsible pet owners traveling with smaller pets.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property was amongst the worst hotel stays my wife and I have experienced in over 55 years of world wide travel. There were people outside our room throughout the night, who were shouting and talking extremely loud. “Room less” people were sleeping on the stairs leading to our room. On top of that, the train traffic near by was frequent, loud and noisy.
We ended up not getting any sleep; worried about possible safety issues and wondering what might be happening to our vehicle parked in the lot.
We checked out and left the property at 3:10 AM. With a Radisson name on the property we would have never thought this would happen.
- Wayne (2/5): - The gentleman at the service desk was kind and helpful. This area was scary. There were homeless camps in the parking lot, unsavory people hanging around, and broken windows on the bottom floor with tape and plastic bags. We felt unsafe and will not be staying there again.
- tieran (2/5): - This hotel was disgusting. I took pictures. There are people literally doing drugs in the parking lot. Mold in the shower. NO BLANKET. stained sheets and towels. No microwave. A teeny tiny tv that hardly worked. Five minutes there and we watched the police tackle someone in the parking lot. I had no choice but to stay because it cost all the money we had and we were in town for a family emergency. Like Expedia was no help either.
- Austin (2/5): Crack heads and cops - The room was ghetto. No blankets only sheets. From the moment I got there nothing by but crack heads and cops keeping me up all night
- Baylee (2/5): - Never staying here again. Really dirty
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Suspicious stains and burn holes in the sheets. If I’m in a cheap hotel, clean sheets should be the bare minimum.
- Patrick (10/5): - The hotel was nice and clean by they had a lot of traffic all night drug activity
- Shawn (2/5): - If i could leave negative stars i would.. first night saw guy NARCAN'd back to life, three times got asked where to o find drugs, once stolen from, 2 times had to call police, no TV fridge or microwave, unreasonable fees and list goes on
- jeffrey (4/5): - vagrants everywhere.. i had to push past a guy to get to my room and he yelled at me when his heroin needle fell on the ground
- Jose Luis (2/5): - The property is located in a homeless-packed area and is full of bad people hanging out and doing drugs in the parking lot. Sincerely, I got regret once I stepped in the lobby....
- julie (4/5): - Floor of hotel room dirty it stained my bare feet black. Old stains on sheets
- Donna (10/5): - I like how they accommodate me and my wife when we stay here.
- Nathan (8/5): - Upon arriving you to check in I was told I could not check in due to a crime scene in the lobby had to leave and come back at a later time after the police finished taking pictures. After checking in and getting into the room a bathroom found a pool of water I'm sure what it was from but still friendly service from the front desk
- Joshua (2/5): - The property is overrun by druggies at any point during the night. The amenities are terrible, and you'd be lucky to get some that work. The A/C unit in my room barely functioned because most of the buttons were torn off, someone smashed the TV and it didn't work, the shower leaked everywhere, there's no microwave or fridge, no coffee maker, and the only blankets available were thin sheets which could barely keep you warm at night.
I can't believe I paid what I did to stay at this place, when I genuinely feel like *I* should be the one getting paid to stay there. It's creepy, I felt unsafe, and the property owners definitely don't care about their residents/customers. Go literally anywhere else, because you can do it for the same or less price. I wouldn't stay here even if I had to, I'd rather find a somewhat safe parking lot and stay in my car.
- Elayna (2/5): - Do not be deceived by the pictures! This is a Motel 6. Not expecting anything super nice but it was really gross. It seemed like nothing was cleaned from previous guests, except the bed was made. Dead bugs and live spiders present. Mold on the bathroom ceilings, dirty used towels with hairs and dirty toilet, stuff all over the floors and walls. I cannot underestimate how dirty the floors were. The sheets had tons of stains and we weren’t sure if they were cleaned from previous guests. We made sure to get a non-smoking room but clearly people had been smoking in there. The whole area was very sketchy with lots of people loitering outside of the buildings late at night. Honestly we would’ve stayed somewhere else if we could but we were in a pinch. But thank god they made the beds.
- Andrea (2/5): Horrible. - Trash all over the property and when you got close, roaches scattered. The room smelt of smoke and the toilet was turned off because the toilet was broken. The shower was disgusting, I had to wear my sandals and close my eyes. There was red stuff all over the shower walls. No fridge or microwave and no breakfast offered. There were homeless and what I could only assume drug addicts all over the property. If it wasn’t so late and I hadn’t been driving for 13 hours I wouldn’t have stayed.
- Lara (6/5): - Good option for one night.
- JANETTE (2/5): Terrible! - The first room we were given smelled of stagnant water. There were no blankets on the beds and crusty stuff on the floor. Vomit and general garbage scattered around the parking lot. After watching a steady stream of people with obvious social disorders/chemical dependencies wander on and off the property, we became very concerned about the general safety of ourselves and our belongings. When the people in the next room decided to have friends over and engage in loud conversation and music we decided it wasn’t worth the price and left to a much better hotel for only a few dollars more.
No refund was offered because we were there for a little over an hour.
Strongly suggest staying anywhere else.
- Alejandro (2/5): - The property was VERY dirty, with quite a few people loitering in the parking lot, and noisy as can be with the freeway a few feet away. The shower had red tint all over (as if somebody had tinted his/her hair and the maid forgot to clean it), the toilet was not working properly (no water), just a very bad experience. I'm surprised Raddison put their name on this motel, and I'm even more surprised Hotels.com actually lists this motel. I would go as far as to classify it as a "by the hour" motel. Roberto in reception was VERY nice, but that did not make up for the sleepless night, what with the noise and worrying if my truck would be there in the morning. Cops showed up THREE times!!! On the third try, they brought an ambulance and a fire truck, and carted someone away. This is NOT a safe hotel, would never recommend it.
- Kevin (2/5): Worst hotel in USA - This hotel was shocking. Room smelled of urine, not even a lampshade and the bed was not fit to sit on let alone sleep. Do not waste your money here , so bad I went elsewhere
- Daniel (2/5): - It's the spot in the bad part of town where people go to look for drugs and trouble, day and night. Woke up every 30 minutes to make sure no one had broken into my car. Saw two roaches when the lights were, which means there are way more, so I slept with the lights on. Bed was a glrofiried cot. Like if you aren't going here for illicit purposes, don't go here.
- Dylan (2/5): - What a disgusting place
There were Herion needles everywhere on the stairs and walkways
I even found one under my bed.
Homeless and drug addicted people everywhere
Only good thing was the price
And now I see why
- Melissa (2/5): - They wouldn't let me stay they hold me they didn't have any rooms even after I paid
- Joel (4/5): - A lot of homeless drug addicts hanging around the property most guest are up all night fighting and making a lot of noise. There is cockroaches. Rooms look clean but they really are not just bleach smell. I did get what I payed for. I would rather pay 15$ more and not stay there. Just my opinion.
- SkyLynn (10/5): - Goo service
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away! - We didn't even stay here! We pulled in the parking lot and it was packed out with homeless people and people doing crack. I've never felt less safe in my life!
- Kayce (2/5): - Didn’t even stay there, check out right after checking in due to the activities I witnessed. Looked like illegal activity happening and was not safe staying there.
- Vanessa (2/5): This is no longer a Motel 6 - The purpose of this stay was that is was close to the SLC airport and our plane wasn't getting until late. My husband and i were looking forward to a goodnight sleep before a 5 hour roadtrip this morning. I booked this thinking it was a Motel 6 on Hotels.com. For just sleep we have never worried about Motel 6.
We did not even get out of our car let alone park the car. We triple checked that we were at the right address. Driving thru the parking lot, we saw empty beer bottles, trash, lots of trash even on the outdoor staircases. There were vagrants everywhere on the street and parking lot. Some doors to rooms were open and it all looked questionable. A woman with very little on in the doorway of one. Before, we rolled up the windows, there was a horrible smell of urine. The pool was closed completely with a cover on it next to the office that looked filthy. We actually feared for our safety. The name on the building said Park Inn or Parkside Inn by Radisson. We ended up staying several miles up the Freeway at Holiday Inn Express in Bountiful, UT.
(Did not provide photos for our safety; needing to get away as fast as possible!)
- Amy (2/5): - Do NOT stay at this hotel!! Most disgusting ghetto hotel I have ever experienced. Drug deals at all hours in the parking lot. Also seemed to be some prostitution going on. Surrounded by homeless encampment and homeless people sleeping in parking lot as well. Disgusting rooms. Disgusting trashy exterior. Not clean at ALL. Decided to leave after an hour and sleep in our car at a different hotel parking lot because we were so grossed out! We didn’t want to book a Motel 6 to begin with because of reputation, but felt desperate because it was the only option available during the airlines major IT crash. My daughter’s flight was delayed with possibility of cancellation so we needed to be close to airport.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Gross and unsafe - Wouldn’t actually get in the bed. Gross and unsafe
- Benjamin (2/5): - They did not have the room we booked.
The mattress was sagging and stained.
The room was paper thin and covered with cigarette smell despite being billed as non-smoking.
The fixtures were jerry-rigged and shuddered loudly while attempting to provide water.
Cold and hot water cycled intensely.
It was the grossest and least comfortable place I’ve ever stayed in my life and I think I would have preferred my car and renting out a nice hose from someone’s backyard--I would have felt cleaner and more rested.
- Teresa (2/5): - Some try to break in my room.
- Robert (6/5): - Alot of economically disadvantaged with concomittant behaviors apparantly living there full time. Loud between midnight and 0300 even on weeknights.
- Jackson (2/5): - I killed a cockroach in my room and the bed had bed bugs and the room smelled like cigarettes. The door has been kicked in so many times. They refused to refund me the whole amount.
- Ryan (2/5): Tweaker dump - Peeling paint in the bathroom, no blankets on the bed, tweakers smoking meth on the stairs, no coffee in the lobby. Garbage everywhere. An inordinate amount of people hanging out in their cars at 3am.
I stay in motels for work at least 50 nights a year and have only seen something this bad one other time and you guessed it, it was in NJ.
- James (2/5): - The place is filthy with crack heads everywhere
- Brian (2/5): hair - not clean..hair in sink and on the floor...gross
- Angelica (2/5): - my sister and i were woken up at 3 in the morning after a 10 hour drive to an employee pounding on our door demanding us to open up. we said no and what the problem would be, he said he were making loud noise and were being disruptive when my sister and i were sleeping. i was watching him through the peep hole the whole time and he pulled out a keycard and tried to enter my room without consent. the door was locked thank god. when i went to the office the next morning, the lady seemed at first like she believed me and said she’d check the cameras. when she came back she said that his arms never left his side and all he did was “lean in and listen.” she argued with me about what i saw and said that he “didn’t do anything wrong.”
from the moment i pulled into this establishment i saw drug deals going down, i saw the office lady from the night before doing drug deals, i saw tweakers all around the building doing drugs. the first room they put us in when we were inspecting it we found a used condom. they put us in a cleaner room thankfully, but even when we asked for more towels the office lady was rude about that as well and gave us wet towels.
i do not recommend staying here, the only reason i did was because it was a last resort.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - mildew in bathroom not clean enough random people just knocking on the door AC hardly work room was very bad condition room very smelly of cigarrettes sheets and towels were ok clean we just needed for one night before heading to vacation out of state
- Brett (4/5): - The room was clean and beds were comfortable, the environment around the facility was dirty with garbages that were overflowing and general look of lack of care.
- John (8/5): - Great value and super convenient location! :)
- Elsadig (2/5): - First off bed bugs killed me someone knocked on my door from eary morning every ten minutes drug been uses by my room one of homeless people has gun very clear to see i went to front disck to change they refused and I witnessed then changing other people room for same reason I don’t recommend this place for any one will never check in this motel again ever horrible experience
- Hakan (2/5): - all is not good
- Futbol (2/5): - The room has a bad smell, the stairs are dirty, there were cockroaches, I asked for a refund and they didn't want to give it to me because I booked it on Expedia. I need if you can help me with that, please.
- Erica (4/5): - .
- Jorge (10/5): - Great place
- Marchell (8/5): - This property was what I needed in a pinch.
- Glenn (2/5): - Property is old and not well maintained.
Rooms were not furnished well at all.
- Deann (8/5): - It’s was dirty and loud
- Shannel (6/5): Housekeeper needed! - Just that the room was not clean at all! The linen was stained up and did not appear to be clean, it was clean but had an un clean appearance. The walls were filthy and the mirrors on the both bathroom and common room were extremely dirty. I spent the first 45 minutes of my stay cleaning the room to my desired level of cleanliness.
- Claudine (10/5): - Had a good night!!
- Angela (8/5): - Some genuinely helpful and kind staff. However, there were a lot of stragglers wandering around the parking lot making things feel creepy.
- Mendy (4/5): - There was a guy who kept revving his car all night… unsavory characters… door looked like it has been kicked in quite a few times
- FAYE (4/5): - Our room was facing the west and the freeway.. So it was a bit noisy. The hum of the Air conditioner helped to eliminate that.
Front desk Lady was very friendly & helpful..
- Verified traveler (2/5): Meth heads aplenty - Room was a mess just walking in. It's clearly a hotel for drug users and prostitutes. Just all kinds of people walking around sitting on the stairs. Expect someone to knock on your door atleast every hour. Never again staying there.
- Dusten (10/5): - Good
- Clarence (2/5): - I like Motel 6 but the area felt unsafe since our van had all of our traveling items.
- Byron (8/5): - No
- Diana (2/5): - It was horrible! Frig didn't work and wouldn't give another one, microwave wouldn't turn when on and never got another one. Inside room was dirty and so unkept. Wouldn't recommend this motel, or any Motel 6, to anyone. Have a report on the one in Lehi. TERRIBLE!!!
- stephanie (4/5): - Bed was terrible. Felt unsafe. People wandering and suiting around the parking lot. No fridge.
- Sareh (2/5): - Terrible, very dirty and noisy
A lot of homeless around, weird smell in the room
- YISHENG (8/5): - Rooms are large. Pet friendly without extra charge.
- Danielle (8/5): Okay stay. - While this hotel had lovely staff. The area is not ideal and the walkways and such were very messy. Plus side, staff is friendly and obviously doing the best they can. Downsides, lots of riff raff and noise, almost threw garbage on a man dumpster diving. It is located in a decent place close to amenities. It is an okay stay, some of the lights in the room didn't work and I was slightly concerned about my car getting broken into in the middle of the night, but nothing happened.
- michael (2/5): - Filthy lobby, pool out of service, rooms smelled of cigarettes and damaged floor in the room
- GLORIA (6/5): - Not safe for families a lot of homeless around
- Jalab (2/5): - Absolutely disgusting. I called to double check about the pool, which they said was open until 9. When we got to the motel, not only was the pool not open, it was covered and had not been open for a VERY long time. Not even any water in it. People doing drugs right on the sidewalk, scoping cars, screaming and fighting. We risked losing money and stayed somewhere else. Looked like a bed bug's paradise.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Customer service so bad it felt like a joke - Even for a Motel 6 this was a complete joke. The worst customer service I've ever encountered. Room lacked the most basic things like toilet paper or an ice bucket. Even though this was supposedly the 'deluxe' room, there weren't even towels in the room when I checked in. The woman I primarily dealt with at the front desk was completely nasty and rude right from the jump. Her manager was not any better he even stood behind her behavior when I complained. I asked a couple of questions about the difference between the deluxe room and the regular room and they essentially called me stupid for not understanding. Overall they were just completely condescending and rude. There was one woman who worked later at night who was an absolute gem but other than that every single employee I encountered was rude, condescending and acted as if I was ruining their day by asking for anything. I have never encountered such poor customer service in my life. I asked for some towels to be changed out because I quickly used the couple that they left in the room and the woman I spoke to argued with me that I didn't give her enough towels to trade out even though that's all the towels that were provided to me in the room. She called me a liar and said that I must be stashing towels somewhere and refused to give me any more. I was going to wash them while I tried to do a load of laundry and the machine stole my quarters and the woman at the front desk refused to help me and again I was called a liar.
- Daniel (2/5): - I would never stay here ever again! Very unclean. Sink was leaking, shower was nasty, stains all over the walls, tampon in the walkway. Trash all over the parking lot and in walkways. Room smells very strong of cigarettes. The rubber mats on the stairs would slip when you take a step. Never coming back!
- Elizabeth (2/5): Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes - I have reserved three rooms. Two of the rooms smelled like cigarettes, and they were supposed to be non-smoking rooms. In addition, the other room smelled like pets and pet food inside. The bathroom was not clean, and it seemed like it was not cleaned after the previous customer's last stay. The sink and floor were dirty. We did not even bother to shower in the bathroom. We have been to another Motel 6 in Page, Arizona, and it was great, but unfortunately, this was a major downgrade.
- Willow (4/5): - Door was open when we walked up to the room. We checked inside, no one was there and the room was free of belongings.
Found several small cockroaches, believe they were German roaches.
People wandering outside and hanging out in the stair wells both at night and during the day.
Would not stay again.
- John (2/5): - Dirty and falling apart. Linen was not clean either, staff was nice. People up all night and noisy, car alarms going off several times during the night.
- Taylor (2/5): Gross - Dirty. Found baby cockroaches
- Ashlee (2/5): - Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels were dirty did not look like they got cleaned before being folded and hung up or on the bed made. Had to clean out tub/shower from a black ring that was there, hand sink and toilet hadn’t been cleaned either. There was dried up muddy spots all over the floor and didn’t look like it had been swept. I had to completely clean the room before I felt it was clean enough for my fiancé who is a terminal Cancer patient and our dogs went into the room and laid on one of our own blankets with one of ours over us on the bed in order to sleep. Others that were at the motel were loud all night both nights at one point there was a few people that looked to be homeless screaming at each other about getting ripped off with something they kept calling blues?? Staff did nothing about it when I talked to them.
- David (4/5): - Staf was bad
- Tesla (6/5): - The person at the desk gave me the wrong number and I ended up scaring someone staying in the room. But over all okay except the cockroaches and the not having any shampoo or soap. There were also fresh paw prints on the bed which lead me to believe the blankets were not previously washed. There was also a fake finger nail on the floor..
- Robert (6/5): - Railing and walkway to room falling apart and cracked. Noisy when housekeeping cart going by. Trash cans overflowing and not emptied each day.
- Gerardo (4/5): - .
- Tesla (10/5): - Was a decent stay, was very easy to check in. Did not like the cockroach on the wall though
- Gabby (2/5): - No one was there when I went to check in and I waited an hour before I had to call it a night and go somewhere else. And I was still charged for the stay.
- Richard (2/5): - The area around the property was sketchy….I didn’t want to park their overnight.
- Charlene (8/5): - The room needed some TLC but was clean. However this morning I discovered the shower didn’t work at all. Makes you wonder how they cleaned it before renting it again. Property was remote but not too far off the main highway. Slept very well.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - Neighbors yelled and broke bottles all night. The location felt unsafe. My lock didn't lock. I had no trash can. And the bed was like sleeping on a wood board
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not so recommended. - A basic place to stay. Not recommended otherwise. Noisy from adjacent highway but also because of clientele. People outside yelling in the middle of the night and the like. The room itself is basic and serviceable but has a bit of a smoky smell though a non-smoking room.
On the positive, office staff were friendly and helpful. Location is a block from the Trax light rail, very convenient to airport and downtown
- George (4/5): - The staff was outstanding. They did their best under difficult circumstances out of their control.
The location is awful with homeless folks nearby. The first room reeked of cigarettes and had no lamp shades on the lamps. Thankfully the staff gave me another room.
They advertise free coffee in the morning. Alas, coffee was not available.
- Yoxajani (2/5): Nasty - Very bad experience, it was dirty and smelly hard to get some rest
- Teresa (2/5): - The hotel was not as clean as it should be not enough face towels the shower would no close shut to take a shower with. No big cover over the bed. Not in the best area because people outside were loud and cussing. Will never stay at that location again not worth it for the money.
