Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (4/5): Might use again if improved - Rooms need upgrades other than bath which was spacious with walkin shower. Loud air control, dirty surfaces, defective TV. Only 5 minutes to airport and cheap as pluses.
- tony (10/5): nice clean hotel - staff was very friendly and accomadating, room very clean, room recently renovated, young lady at the front even made me coffee and was extremely helpful and answered all my questions, hotel was close to many restraunts
- Rachel (2/5): Close to interstate - No Hot water, No pillows on 1 of the beds, no trashcan in the room.
- Niels (4/5): Good location but that's where the good ends! - Motel had recently changed hands and went from a Motel6 to a Rodeway Inn. Was informed that a remodel was in place by another hotel and that they were under the impression that the room I was placed in had been closed until remodel was complete. Carpet was stained and had cigarette burns all over it. Turn on the heat and it stunk up the room in less then 5 minutes where you couldn't breathe. No Wi-Fi as listed but upon check out they had a sign at the front desk apologizing for the inconvenience. Will not return, nor will I recommend it to anyone else even with such an affordable rate.
- John (6/5): - Price for hotel not bad
- Steven (6/5): Am I at the right place - No coffee pot..micro wave or mini frig
Located by a few restaurants and fast food places so coffee was close by
And its not a Motel 6 anymore
- Elaine (4/5): OK for an Economy hotel - The bathroom and bedding were clean and the AC worked well but the carpet badly needed cleaning.
- Joshua (6/5): Floor sleeper - Bed was horrible, mattress was so old/bad I slept on the floor both nights. Old run down motel desperately needing renovations. Staff was great
- Rachel (8/5): Decent Place for a Short Stay - It was a decent stay for the low price. I did have a dead roach on my bed, but it was dead so I figured it means they are keeping it under control. The hotel is really old. The tv was a box tv, but I was ok with it. I don't really care about tv though. I didn't have shampoo in the room. Just a couple of bars of soap. There was no hair dryer in the room, but I expected that for the price. I wouldn't stay there more than a couple of days, but for just a place to lay your head for the night it was fine. It didn't have a funny smell or anything either.
- Connie (6/5): Camping is only marginally less comfortable - I chose the hotel for the rate. I have to make frequent trips to Ft. Smith due to my parents health and I can't afford higher hotel cost at the frequency that I am there. Motel 6 is a very inexpensive, no frills hotel. The clerk was very friendly but I don't feel the housekeeping does a thorough job in the rooms or sidewalks. Some small pieces of trash I spotted under the bed and behind the nightstand were still in the exact room I stayed in the week before. I am concerned that the same care of the bedding could be also subpar. The room I stayed in was non-smoking but there were cigarette butts on the ground up against the wall right outside of the door. The room did smell of stale smoke and it was very musty. The shower looked clean as well as the sink and toilet. There were clean towels and wash cloths. The bed is comfortable enough or I was very tired but anyhow I slept okay. I camp a lot so I can manage in conditions others might not find acceptable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great staff and location - For a low budget motel, it's the best. The staff are very friendly and the location is great! I stay here every week when doing contract work. I live this place!
- Dina (2/5): Bed bug motel 6 - Ok so on one side you had lots of men drinking beer sitting on their trucks or with a chair outsude their room and hitting on us. The receptionist on the first day was very nice n accomodating. We woke up with bed bug bites all over our bodies. Red marks all over. Before we left i wanted to go swim but the lady wouldnt open the pool til close to 10 n we had to check out at 11 so no time of course n we checked in at 8 n pool closed at 9. We chose to ho to supper. Online it said online treadmill and breakfaat all they offer is coffee. When we left or arrived men whistled n stared us down in exaggeration. It was a horrible stay except for the first desk clerk we had she was awesome. Bed bugs are a serious issue we took pics of our bites and are thinking of calling the health dept.
- Debra Jones (2/5): - The worst place I have ever stayed
- Jeffery (6/5): Good for 1 night - I got what I paid for... when they say no frills that's what they mean! Only issue was a wake up call from the air conditioning unit at 3am making a horrible noise.
- cindy (2/5): Don't stay here - Big mistake! It was nasty. Pool was slimy dirty. The room was dirty. Spend $30 more and get something clean. Never again will I stay at a motel 6 .
- Jonathan (6/5): A Descent Night Stay - The motel was near the highway and close to a few restaurants. The guy at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room was large and satisfactory but the shower was a surprise. It was like a transporter from Star Trek - beam me up Scottie. Overall a descent night stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair for price - Same as above; you get what you pay for and considering the price, this hotel is a fair value.
- Howard (8/5): Great stay - nice clean room W/ AC.Good economical place to stay.
- Glenda (10/5): - Nice hotel
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not great. - Front desk was very friendly. Door was broke and I couldn't get in my room, so carried all my bags back to office and was given another room (on 2nd floor again), so had to drag everything back (quite a distance from the office). Had to pay $5 extra for wifi, which was advertised in lobby for unlimited devices. After continually being disconnected, I called & was informed it was only for one device. I needed this to upload video for work---had the video uploading all night and what should have taken about 1 hour, was still not done in the morning. Had to go across the street to McDonalds wifi to finish (which was possibly in range from the hotel). TV was ancient, tiny, box set. No fridge or microwave.
- PRISONGUARD1 (8/5): Never Had a Bad Motel 6 - Motel 6 has always provided a nice room at a fair price.
- RICHARD (4/5): ft smith, ar - Shower drain backed up couldn't repair til ready to leave in morning. Pool closed. Cable not working many prime channels inop. Only coffee in office in morning. Some employees were testy and unfriendly. Overall poor
- Todd (4/5): Very dissatisfied - The room was terrible. It had a terrible odor. The AC didn't cool as it should have. The sheets had cigarette burn holes. The mattress was worn out. The shower didn't drain well. Exhaust vent in bathroom didn't work and was filthy. The price is why I stayed here, but I will not stay here again. I'm sure the entire hotel needs renovating. I do have photos but unable to download here.
- Aldeen (10/5): Amazing trip, good hotel - Amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Don't expect fancy, but it is clean and the staff is friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): SHORT STAY - Always carry Lysol, bed bug spray, and air freshener . That's for all hotels. It was okay for the price. Staff excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient - Hotel is being renovated, had the opportunity to stay in one of their updated rooms; very nice
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair to Medium - The room was basic, but adequate. The road noise from the Interstate was pretty loud, keep me awake most of the night
- Mathew (6/5): Dated rooms but decent value - The rooms are dated and the TV is an ancient anchor. That said, this is a convenient location and their price makes the room a decent value
- Tammy (8/5): Comfy little room for me - I liked my room. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Ice machine was not working the two times I needed some and the coffee was not fresh. I will stay there again. I'll go out for coffee..ha
- Sharon (6/5): Not too thrilled - Was disappointed that the usual amenities such as refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron and free WiFi were not included.
- Judy (6/5): - When we got into the room the air freshener was so strong that it was very hard to breath! The bed was very uncomfortable. But the second night the air freshener was softened and we adjusted to the bed. There seemed to been a lot of door slamming. Not sure why and on Saturday night some people were out side fighting and yelling. When we first arrive we were greeted super and was very accommodating. I really appreciated that..
- Verified traveler (8/5): NUR58 - I like this Motel 6 because it is clean and well-kept. Also, it's in a very handy location!
- Manny Peru (2/5): If you don't mind rotten dog and urine odor... - The room smelled like a wet dog and urine. The internet that costs money to use, it didn't work. I just gave up. Shower is tiny, room is tiny. Not a great place and I stay at a lot of cheap places. Corporate needs to put some money into this place. You've been warned.
- Christopher (6/5): - No shampoo in the room what!?!?!
- Judy (10/5): - once I found it everything was fine at the motel itself...It was just the unaccurate directions given by hotel.com
- Lyndi (4/5): - The hotel was clean, but you have to pay for WiFi for each device. The room is very small and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. The staff was nice, but they ran out of clean washcloths, and we only had 2 in our room. I guess for the price, its not a bad deal, but I did expect at least clean towels!
- Steven (6/5): CHeap, no perks, not pretty, just cheap - Cheap placeto stay, but that's about it
- Loren (10/5): Great location - This was a great Motel6 to stay in, the staff was friendly and willing to help whenever asked
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was okay .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great for the price - The area looks super sketchy but we had a nice stay. Very friendly staff , room was clean . For the price it was great.
- Verified traveler (6/5): manager is awesome - You get what you pay for here, great for families on a budget, don't expect all the extras though.
- John (8/5): One night, on the road - Spent the night while traveling, What was expected from Motel 6.
- Randall (6/5): - Great little place to hang for a night.
- Cara (2/5): Will never return to any Motel 6 - Our non-smoking room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. Everything but the towels smelled horrible. We had checked in at 3pm but had plans in a nearby town and didn't return until after 4am. By then there were no other rooms available. We put bath towels over the pillows and slept for a while. Woke up congested and coughing. Our backs ached from the horribly old creaky mattress. All of our stuff stinks so bad. We didn't even stay to shower. We just had to get out of there.
Turn the lights off, we won't be back.
Truth: you get what you pay for.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Will not stay again!!! EVER!! I'll stay in a tent - Water leaked out the ceiling and front desk acted like its ok for water to leak down from other bathrooms on top(um...black mold and just plain gross!!!). Warning......
- Michael (6/5): - There is no shampoo.... bring your own.
- ruben (8/5): E Stop !!! - It was nice an unexpected stop got caught in tornado storm in Oklahoma so we needed a place to stay the guy at the front desk was really polite and professional got checked in quickly
- Aldeen (10/5): - It was a great stay. Loved the room
- Verified traveler (8/5): It's good - It's good and cheap but needs new tvs. Lol
