- Bushell (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Gallis, and would definitely recommend it. If you like walking it’s great, if not yo - It was beautifully presented, with a lovely pool and grounds area. Each villa was very private. It was not as close to the centre of Apollonia as we’d hoped.
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Claudia Patricia (9/5): It was a wonderful stay, the facilities were lovely and walking distance from the restaurants -
- Brody (10/5): - Very comfortable and the most amazing staff!!
- Ruben (9/5): -
- Pablo (7/5): Chilled vibe in Milos - - very relaxed vibe
- good location close to a small village for dinner but still isolated
- provided beach towels
- AC worked properly - no umbrellas in pool to provide shadow
- room lighting could be improved
- Carla (10/5): the ideal stay in Milos - It was an exceptional stay in Pollonia. Perfectly located at a distance from the village to offer privacy and calmness while being close enough to all restaurants and the waterfront (2 mins motorbike ride). The room was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with all the amenities you might need (plus some welcome gifts!!). Since it’s a boutique hotel / villa, there weren’t that many other guests so we could enjoy the pool as we wished. The owner and rest of the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. We will gladly come back! Nothing, it was perfect
- Millie (10/5): Perfect - felt like our own private oasis. - Our stay was absolutely perfect! Awesome location, and just a 10 minute walk into Pollonia. Free parking, beautiful rooms and a pool. We loved watching the sun go down by the pool. Nothing!
Abends dringend Taschenlampe empfohlen!
- Aviva (9/5): really lovely place with great staff and atmosphere - lovely atmosphere and lovely staff
- Edward (10/5): Tranquil stay on Pollonia Hillside - This property sits on a hillside that overlooks the town of Pollonia and the Aegean Sea. The views are breathtaking. Roma are clean and comfortable. Peggy and her staff took really good care of us. Some really great restaurants are just a five minute drive from the Villa. Nothing
- Michelle (10/5): Amazing Villa Gallis! - It had the most amazing views on sunrise and sunset only 1km walk to village and Peggy was the most amazing host helped with all details and things to do the room was immaculate and cleaned every day it was the most incredible pool and area around the pool to relax and unwind I will definitely be returning to Villa Gallis 100% nothing it was actually everything you need
- Shani (7/5): Beautiful view and friendly staff but a bit outdated - The property has a beautiful view and is in a nice location if you have a car. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! The unit was clean and there are a lot of places to sit outside, although unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy it due to strong winds during our stay. The furniture and utilities are quite outdated. For example, the bathroom still has one of those old wall hair dryers that looks like a vacuum cleaner! The bathroom could also do with some fresh paint. The outside furniture could do with a refresh since some of the material is torn.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (10/5): Beautiful - can’t wait to come back - Amazing location, room was super spacious and cleaned to perfection every day Nothing
- Henri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Perfect stay! Will be back - Beautiful view, large pool and poolside area, comfortable clean room, kind friendly staff None, all was perfect
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect, great value for money, quiet and private. - Great location, very peaceful and just a short stroll from town. Amazing host who was so welcoming and there if you had a question but not hovering. Very comfortable, plenty of room and lots of seating around the pool and terrace area. It was perfect…. the only little thing lacking would maybe have a bowl or plate for nibbles when having a drink by the pool.
- Melissa (10/5): Would definitely recommend Villa Galis to anyone visiting Milos - The location, facilities, staff, everything!
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and peaceful.
Lovely location.
Great pool
- Lindsey (9/5): Superb - Very friendly staff
- Lumani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb -
- Gina (9/5): Superb -
- Brooke (10/5): Our stay was nothing but peaceful, relaxing and luxurious - Such a beautiful stay at Villa Gallis, the host Mrs Margarita was so lovely and extremely helpful. We had fresh towels and robes daily. We felt relaxed all the time, and enjoyed the pool with a beautiful view to watch sunset from. 100% recommend.
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucas (10/5): Hidden gen - Do not hesitate to stay at Villa Gallis just 10 min walking distance from the charming fisherman village of Pollonia. We were positively surprise with the location quite far of the main port of Adamantas. For dinners, restaurants set up tables on the beach. The hotel is clean, charming, and with a great view on the sea. The staff is nice and helpful. Nothing
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): Awesome stay and loved every moment. - We loved the pool, the view and the very awesome staff. There were a few kitty cats which we fed and hope they continue to feed x I thought that they could have more utensils like knives and forks, plates. All they had was a chopping board.
- Sheila (10/5): Cute villa near Pollonia with a great view - Margherita and her Villa Gallis are simply the best!
Great location, next to the Apollonia village.
The rooms are comfortable and very clean.
Margherita is there to answer all your questions, she also let us use her beach umbrella and towels after checkout while we were waiting for our ferry.
5 stars for this Greek home, make it yours! Breakfast is not available. You need to walk or drive down to the Polonia port.
- Fabíola (9/5): Superb - The property is very nice, the view is beautiful! staff is also friendly and kind. They do not offer breakfast or any bar facilities in the pool area for drinks or snacks
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (8/5): Villa Gallis a place to get away and chill by the pool - Villa Gallis was as expected as we have stayed 3 times before. Its away from the main area and nice and quiet with a lovely pool. We had the same room. a comfortable bed, kettle and coffee machine, plus fridge. Plenty of space for clothes with wardrobe and draws. Shower good size and always hot water. The pool has plenty of space to sit and lounge and towels provided. If you are looking to chill away from the main areas this is a good place to stay. Its easy to hire a car and get around to all the fishing villages, main port and Chora or walk into the main square and catch a bus. Sounds daft but a little disappointed we asked for tea bags and they couldn't provide any. We did get them when we next went to the local supermarket. So if no car, make sure you have provisions.
- Francisco (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, close to Pollonia yet far enough away from the township to be quiet. Amazing views and great pool facilities. The host was fabulous and helped us out greatly with recommendations
- Natalie (7/5): Pleasant but not what we were expecting - The view was nice Very noisy rooms.
Had to ask for amenities to be replenished daily- water, coffee, fresh beach towels
Definitely longer than 10 mins walk to town.
- Jake (8/5): Great location out of town - This Villa was very good. It’s around 10mins outside of the main village, but that affords it a quiet vibe and gives you a chance to walk off your dinner when you eat at the port. The bed was super comfy. There was little that I didn’t like. The only thing that I can complain about is the sound proofing between the rooms. We were in a downstairs room, and we heard everything from the room above. It didn’t bother me as I sleep well, but if you are a light sleeper I would potentially avoid.
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (10/5): a beautiful property, 15 minutes walk to town - beautiful room, great view
- Alison (7/5): great location and space - Fab location above the village. Huge outside space with pool and usually no one else around. Lots of seating and sun beds. Only 10 minutes walk into village Thin walls! Could hear all the plumbing from other rooms.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Massimiliano (7/5): Good - la vista e la posizione The taxi called my them will not give you any receipt after several rwquests.
Theu don't keep you the lagguages at least for on or three hours.
There is no breakfast.
- Wilson (10/5): I would definitely come back again!! Great people and great accommodations - I liked it was near everything yet still private. The pool was amazing and beautiful when lit up at night. The staff was very welcoming The only thing I didn’t like was the blow dryer was like a vacuum hose without any power. I have really fine hair and it took 20 minutes to dry.. and still didn’t dry properly. Small price to pay for a beautiful place!
- Spencer (10/5): Amazing stay with amazing people! - Location was excellent! Also, has an amazing view! The staff was very pleasant and amazing to be around. I would take this location 100/10! Nothing!
- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic views and rooms. Great location in Pollonia.
- Jana (10/5): Great accommodation in Pollonia - We had a lovely stay here. We accidentally made a mistake with our booking and only realised this a few weeks before we were due to stay at Villa Gallis. They went out of there way to accommodate us and we appreciated this so much.
The location is wonderful for exploring the town of Pollonia - a short ten-minute walk away - and the views from the pool were wonderful.
Would definitely recommend having a car when staying in Pollonia if you want to explore beaches on the island. But if you just want to relax by the pool and wander down for lunch or dinner at any of the lovely restaurants in town, that's also lovely!
- Tiffany (10/5): Beautiful resort just out of town, run by lovely Margarita -
- Suzanne (10/5): Great stay in Pollonia. The property is beautiful and an easy walk into town. Tom’s have everything you need and the p - Small property with beautiful rooms and gorgeous pool. Margarita was amazing, so helpful.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Nuno (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): a peaceful oasis of calm to return to after you days exploring - Villa Gallia is the perfect location if you want peace and tranquility
close enough to pollonia to benefit from the facilities but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle.
Margarita and the staff are always available and are brilliant help when help is required
a great example of the Greek culture of Filoxenia nothing to dislike
- Janet (10/5): Beautiful property & very relaxing location with easy walking distance to the town - totally relaxing location & tastefully decorated. staff very helpful & friendly too nothing
- Harriet (10/5): Perfect week at this Hotel. Highly recommend. - Delightful hotel. Room decor was beautiful and well maintained. Staff extremely helpful with any request. Rooms spotlessly clean. Pool is fab and a lovely quiet location. Beach towel change was an unexpected bonus. Would def stay again. Nothing. I guess the walk back in the evening is at some points in the dark with no street light but not the property’s fault.
- Deanna (10/5): Milos is a beautiful Island & Margarita who runs Villa Gallis made our trip perfect! - The view was beautiful, quiet & very clean Nothing
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elena (6/5): Would stay closer to the center for much less - Far from the town, its not a 10 min walk, especially if you need to bring groceries. Need a car.
- Eleonor (7/5): Disappointing, light sleepers avoid - The view is beautiful and the villa itself is very pretty 1) very noisy. I think the bathrooms are all built next to each other, and it creates some weird echo, but you can hear neighbours using their bathroom as if they were in your room. The rest of the sound insulation isn't great either, I was woken up by neighbour's conversation in the morning, despite wearing earplugs.
2) the rooms are nicely decorated, however the ground floor ones are quite dark. I was moved to an upstairs room when I complained of the noise, which was slightly better sound wise but much smaller.
3) I have light sleep and kept being woken up by neighbours flushing the toilet in the night. After the first night I told the lady about it who apologized and said I wouldn't have neighbours afterwards. People did check in , guess it was a last minute thing. The second day, I asked if I could have the rest of my stay cancelled after two very poor nights of sleep, but they said Booking had a non refund policy, and they couldn't do anything. That's when they moved me to the smaller room. I understand that they need protection for no-shows, but I thought at this price and with a valid complaint, they could have been more sympathetic. They could at least have offered a discount or a free breakfast.... This had a direct impact on my vacation as I was sleep-deprived the whole time.
4) it is the only place I stayed in Greece that didn't have a huge breakfast included in the price.
5) it is a little remote from the center of Pollonia, not a problem if you have a car but otherwise would avoid the long sand paths at night with no public lighting and snakes.
6) I guess in the peak of summer this is much nicer. I was there in early October and although the temperatures were in the mid-high 20s during the day, the swimming pool was freezing cold and unusable, even for just lying on a sunbed as it is very windy. The north in general is more exposed to the wind and I found myself heading south each day.
- Lorrie (10/5): Relaxation and beauty. - Everything done to perfection. A wonderful place to just be. Liked everything..all of it!
- Roberta (10/5): Beautiful!!! - Everything! I loved our stay at Villa Gallis! Stunning room, stunning villa, pool and view! Exactly like in the pictures, and actually even better when seeing it in person! The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful! The hotel also arranged the transfer to and from the port. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is a 10 minute walk by foot to the town of Pollonia (which is nothing), but if that’s not an issue for you, then I really commend staying here!
- Valentina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect ! The view is insane, the room is really cute and Margarita is very helpful. The Villa is situated 10minutes walk from the village.
If you are willing to have a peaceful place this is a must go !
- Deirdre (10/5): Clean, comfortable with attention to detail - The location was ideal. Waking up each morning to a beautiful setting overlooking the pool and water was magical! Everything was perfect, I could not ask for more! The quiet solitude was what we were seeking. It met every expectation. Margarita was excellent. She provided a very good recommendation of a restaurant in town. She was on top with direct communication with us throughout our stay. We will definitely return!
- Samantha (7/5): Could have been perfect…. - The facilities were perfect We were disappointed with the room we were given (room 4)as it had a compromised view and lacked privacy compared to the other rooms. It could also be noisy at times being located directly next door to reception.
We did ask if we could move rooms but unfortunately this could not be accommodated.
Margarita was helpful in organising vehicle rental, trips etc.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceeded expectations. - The breakfast was well worth it and can’t beat the view from the patio as you eat. Great pool area. Fantastic view. Short drive, or even walk into Pollonia where there are lots of dining options. The host Margarita was amazing!!! Honestly there was nothing I would change.
- Edoardo (9/5): place is incredible and the staff was really nice. Definitely worth the trip - The Villa was really nice,. the view spectatular just one little suggestion. The villa is 10/12min walk from Pollonia.
If there could be some bicycles or any other way to facilitate transportation (when we went, due to high season, it was impossible to rent either a car or a motorbike) to the village, that would be extremely helpful
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Villa Gallis is a beautifully maintained villa, with an excellent pool, friendly and helpful staff, and within easy waking distance to all that Pollonia has to offer.
- Mariaconcetta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guigzer (10/5): Thank you for the hospitality ! - The staff was great
- Stephanie (7/5): Nice place bit too expensive, no human contact - The room was large and comfortable It wal like a phantom place. No reception, so no contact with any people. We had the feeling that there was economy by hiring no staff whereas the price of the hotel was not cheaper.
The hotel is too far away from the center if you don't have a car.
- Danilo (9/5): Superb -
- Walsh (9/5): Superb -
- Yesenia (9/5): Superb -
- Camila (10/5): Recommend 100% - View from the pool area, calm and peaceful environment, staff kind and welcoming and beautiful room.
- Aleix (9/5): Superb -
- Aleix (9/5): Dreamy place overlooking the sea - We spent a week at this beautiful hotel and wow! What a spectacular sea view! The room was very spacious, super comfy and with all the amenities you’d need for a perfect stay. Breakfast is an absolute feast and Margarita, the hotel manager, was just lovely :)
